This is simply democracy at work. They want to force the bills down the throat of the Acting President to sign? Their hues and cries to override would further make them more silly in the face of the people. We don't need a dual national assembly. These blockheads (like Dino & co) have nothing to offer us. |
FFK is obviously mischievous and clannish. His antics would further drown him politically and if not careful the evil seed of discord he is good at sowing will be reaped by his children. |
That's check and balance. Governance taking an inquisitive dimension. Intellectuals with results needed, in piloting the affairs of this nation. This bi-cameral legislature would continue to waste our resources with continuous concealing of its budget. Must we copy the USA? |
This is obviously a sponsored post which reeks of jealousy and envy. So laughable that SDK blog published this write up without thorough investigation with majority hitting back at Stella. Funny enough many Nairalanders are toeing this path by crucifying this fine actor. Poor journalism .Iranu ![]() |
Their cross...lèt them carry it with gladness of heart and keep APÇ on their toes to deliver the true dividends of democracy |
Vanity....all is vanity, so says The Preacher. Wishing Suntai a touch from above. Miracles are real! Rise up and be healed! |
This dude is damn hilarious |
A very appalling question. Go figure it out. Is BBC that lazy with investigative journalism? |
Never heard of him before but the eulogies are enough to move one to tears. May God comfort his family and keep them. We will not be cut off in our prime. We'll fulfil our days. RIP Man |
OP tbis should be in Joke section ![]() |
The King is coming again. Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. The life of man is not defined by the expression of the abundance he has. This will end one day. Now since our institutions have failed us. Our laws are extremely weak to nail our looters. Let's rise to unseat these wicked leaders via cool R E V O L U T I O N |
Well appropriated funding for infrastructures will get us out of the woods ...if not looted. ![]() Keep it up Fash! |

Praise God! |
emmasege:. Please can you tell us the flaws of Ayokunle? |
Buhari will be fine. Some of us pray for him and other political office holders and leaders. However, the best thing for him to do is to handover the baton to his VP, to run with the vision they had when campaigning. Inability to do this will make him run that office without vigour and desired input. Can African leaders grow up? |
This is getting interesting. God's will be done. No evil conspiracy will stand. God bless Nigeria! For those asking Osinbajo not to eat anyhow, he pastors a church having a 40- day fasting and prayer at the moment- needed wisdom available. The spiritual climate is turbo charged to bulldoze any disgruntled vices. ![]() |
opal4real:When you say MOST pastors are guilty of this, in all sincerity how many churches have you gone to and appraised based on your submission and found wanting? We shouldn't be oblivious of the fact that there still many churches teaching sound doctrines so also are churches without sound biblical doctrines, who are only out there to take advantage of the sheep. I can't fathom when people come on social media to make the church look horrible as if the gullibility of some is now for all. |
Because some people don't accord their biological parents respect does not translate to all believers. It's very laughable for you to be practicing Christianity without imbibing the true teachings of Christ in real sense. Daddy or no Daddy shouldn't be the crux of the issue. True respect comes from the heart, not the title calling and kneeling stunts. Whoever is comfortable with calling his spriritual leader daddy, so be it. And Reno, if you are called so, reject it ASAP. Don't come here to whip up sentiments. I don't know what is wrong with the Christian community of recent with unnecessary divisive comments. There are loads of things to talk about. LOVE, GIVING , COMPASSION etc! |
[quote author=Statsocial post=53386212]Strike doesn't stop lecturers from carrying out research.[/quote I don't seem to agree totally. In a Varsity of technology, laboratories are very important in carrying out research. The last time I checked in, they were under lock and key. Although, other non-laboratory-based research could still make a difference. |
Even with the brouhaha in my Alma mater,LAUTECH, still amongst the top 20. Aregbe and Ajimobi, wake up! |
The CP is obviously boxed to a tight corner. The Abuja people are behind this or perhaps the CP wants to be overzealous. This protest remains unstoppable, unbreakable and unsmashable ![]() It's gonna be like a running train. Have you noticed Ambode has never said anything about the protest? 2Baba when you go hit IB na ? |
Moved with tears. This unsafe condition was neglected so much that it has caused the death of these little kids. RIP. The angels are waiting already to receive you.Posterity will judge. |
A bad move. This is not the right time. He's gonna nip his career in the bud. |
No single respect for the CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY. See how Nairalanders are lashing out at the amiable VP cum President ![]() Nice job sir! |
This guy has gained the popularity he desired long time ago, I wouldnt blame this platform for making him smile often when his rants hit the front page. However, it's pertinent to state unequivocally that many people are oblivious of the impact of the church in the society. It's is very irrational to think and conclude without a verifiable research of how passive the church is. The same RCCG he attacks effortlessly has a CSR unit saddled with the responsibility of affecting the immediate environment the church occupies. Reports of activities are sent monthly to the headquarters so as to appraise the level of performance. How about the massive givings during missions and the prison ministry bit to mention a few. Look around, you will see such projects. On welfare, just like other churches, many are addressed every Sunday to say the least. I have the privilege of meeting and evaluating these cases, almost every Sunday! The blessed ones know what they part with to address the needs of the less privilege ones. Do churches need to publicize these? No? These gestures are Christ-like and need not to receive the attention of Print electronic or social media Freeze surely needs to get a life. Yes! A life in Christ that would redefine his purpose. |
Congrats Serena ! Expecting Roger Federer to outclass Nadal with his touch of finesse. |
Yeah the likes of El-Rufai and Abdul Azeez Yari. The permutation is for real. The cover up by the presidency is obviously targeted to make the news unfounded. This is surely a fire, and I can see the smoke! This is another drama o ![]() God will keep the VP in perfect peace. Every of his antagonist shall receive an heavenly catastrophic slap ![]() |
I can't really figure out how a religion finds it difficult to tolerate others. What are they afraid of? Can this pressure continue on this platform to make them rescind their biased decision? God is LOVE. Stop spreading hate! |
This is really laughable ![]() How come? ![]() Can't really figure this out... a whole commander of armed forces wanna chicken out like this. A deterrent to other upcoming African leaders who would not want to relinquish power when they lose. The next to boot out is the DR Congo leader. ![]() |
Startling! Jammeh a goner. ..but wait, is he gonna call the shot from Dakar or the ECOMOG forces are ready to smoke the slowpoke out of Gambia ![]() The chief justice of Gambia went to do the swearing in in Dakar? ![]() |
This resolution is unnecessary and stupid. So the lawmakers are still in the country I pity their epic foolishness. They are surely in their 'injury time'. The smart ones won't be involved in this shenanigans. Ask the ministers who resigned. |
