PentiumPro:Kindly give us the breakdown of the number of seats occupied by the minorities in order of parties. The members of the parties represented in the house of representatives, except APC, must have met to decide the persons to recommend and they must have voted to determine the persons so I wonder how PDP could not have had it's way in deciding the minority leaders, especially if the number of the other parties are insignificant. |
ezebunafo:I thought the process was to get a recommendation from the PDP on behalf of the minority parties. I understand that the choices communicated to the House of Assembly by PDP are different. So why "Rock the Boat". |
I wonder why Gbajabiamila chose to commence the 4 year term with more enemies and trouble in the house. |
Well, the political system currently in Nigeria rewards "mace grabbers" like the Deputy Senate President so many representatives and senators will still attempt to grab the mace for a run or whatever reason. The pattern till now is that the mace grabbers are from the South-South region of Nigeria. |
kiyosaki1:You adviced him to be neutral yet you posited that statement in bold alphabets. That makes you hypocritical. |
proudevil:He didn't say he is Muslim or Pagan. |
dyydxx:Honestly, I am not. |
blowjohn:Busola must have shared the information with her husband. They left that church long time ago but perhaps they were still hearing stories of his escapades with other ladies. Maybe that is the reason the husband has been questioning COZA mgt, for allowing this to thrive, on social media with cryptic messages some 2 - 3 months before now. The mgt of COZA probably know what Timi was talking even though the public didn't know, sense crisis if the Dakolos speak and chose to stifle the information by getting church people and it's members to circulate information capable of assassinating Busola's character so that no one will believe her - discredit the accuser. She indicated in the interview that she started hearing stories about her, several versions and of course people calling her describing her negatively. So, she decided to tell her story, put the truth into perspective. I believe her story - 99% I think Busola was simply out to tell her story, her version of the episodes, abinitio. Unfortunately, you will have to live with the knowledge of her story even if you are not comfortable with it. |
oluwalonprovide:I don't see a crime in having children out of wedlock except for moral and legal implications. The society has a good number of children born out of wedlock and that does not make them inferior, unprivileged nor their parents less humans. It is expected that children are born into families of married parents but if not, the parents still have all the time in the world to commence and complete wedding. The argument that Timi Dakolo may not be the biological father of his kids is not necessary because he is not complaining. It is not our or your business besides, every child needs a home so if he decides to live with the kids as their father, even if he is not the biological father, I think you don't qualify to cry or investigate their paternity. However, you can believe whatever you choose. I think Busola was simply out to tell her story, her version of the episodes, abinitio. Unfortunately, you will have to live with the knowledge of her story even if you are not comfortable with it. |
ChrisTeck:It is a wrong advice. |
hustla:The information I gave is on goal.com, I get that there are conflicting news about the weekly pay but I hope it can even be lower thank £200,000 per week considering the fact that most players in Liverpool FC and Man City FC don't earn that much. |
RexTramadol1:These bloggers can generate fake news. Anyway, Rashford signed £250,000 per week. Year - £12,000,000 Month - £1,000,000 Week - £250,000 Day - £35,714 Hour - £1,488 Minute - £24.80 A lot of money for a striker who scored 13 goals last season! I still feel it is too high wage for his contribution and quality. |
We are all familiar with the development on Pastor Biodun Vs Busola Dakolo episodes which put COZA on the spot. Since the video of the interview granted by Busola Dakolo hit the internet, a lot has been happening. Notable recent development on the controversy is the correspondence of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo about his decision to step down indefinitely from the leadership position he occupied in the church. However, there are also social media notice or correspondence of members of the church publicly renouncing membership of the church in reaction to the events unfolding. These members reactions got me wondering: 1. Why do we gather in church? 2. What informs our decision on the denomination or church to attend? 3. Why do you fellowship at your church? I would like every christian to review these questions to better understand the church. For me, I attend and gather in my church to fellowship among the people with God. The house of God is in my heart/mind/spirit moreover, the gathering in a physical house - church - is to: thank, worship & reverence God; listen, study and share knowledge of the words of God; experience the blessings, spiritual gifts and grace of God; associate with other christians, care for other christians and also receive care from other christians. My decision to attend and remain at my church was influenced by distance, my wife, my background, the atmosphere and comfort moreover. I reached the decision ultimately because I spiritually connect with my God almighty every time I fellowship with God in that church. I get better understanding and deeper rhema of the words of God through seasoned and renowned teachers, pastors and preachers. My wife feels the same way but I don't know about every other person and I honestly can not speak for every other person that attends my church. I don't attend my church because of a particular person, family or pastor. I don't worship pastors, teachers and leaders in my church, though I have a lot of respect for them. I understand that everyone in my church, including the senior pastor, pastors, leaders and teachers, is human and we are there to build the church, help ourselves in life and spiritually and ultimately worship and serve God. The fall of any of us, I mean anyone, due to sin, action or inaction does not ultimately influence my decision to renounce membership of my church except I am directed by God or disconnected from God in my church. So help me God. Before you jump the ship of COZA, please review the questions above dispassionately and let your sincere answers guide your decision. Moreover, every church has her own challenges so, should I suddenly jump the ship upon discovery of the challenges and problems in my church. My people, think again! |
Those that will leave can leave COZA, the church is simply experiencing perilous times and COZA will come out of it stronger than ever before, especially because COZA is of God almighty. |
This is not necessary because some people genuinely meet God in COZA and their spirit is comfortable with Godly fellowship there. If Akah Nnani wish to leave, it should be his personal decision and he doesn't necessarily have to influence others to leave. |
However belated, this is a step in the right direction. Infact, it is an exemplary step expected of every responsible leader. This gives hope of order and proper leadership in the house of God. I know it must have been a difficult decision for Biodun Fatoyinbo to take this step however, it is a well done move before sane men and God almighty. I need Biodun Fatoyinbo to understand that God has not forsaken him and his family, God will forever be with you. God is most disposed to man when you let go everything and submit to God. He will break all the holds, destroy all the imperfections, heal you and make you whole. Biodun Fatoyinbo needs to seek the face of God henceforth, confess his sins and transgressions to God almighty and I must emphasize that God is always willing to forgive us when we truly repent. God almighty is our father in any case, he understands our weaknesses and God will help us to be whole. We are all born of sin and until the days of perfection come upon earth, we all remain imperfect. After confession, repentance and forgiveness by God, Biodun Fatoyinbo can also take a step further to apologize to all that felt offended and disappointed by his conduct, behavior, offense, actions and inaction. God forgives all of us when we sin, repent and confess to him so I expect everyone to forgive Biodun Fatoyinbo, no matter what he has done. After all these trials, God has promised new and unprecedented development in his life. He will shine brighter yet again and will come back stronger than ever. Biodun Fatoyinbo, may God be with you and your family for ever. I will be praying for you. As for COZA, that church will be fine. Zion is forever. |
Honestly, the churches and mosques are reflection of the society. No wonder we are experiencing all these challenges in Nigeria. Here we are: Christians trying to excuse and justify a philandering and perverted senior pastor of a church. Christians castigating someone bold enough to accuse a senior pastor of church of rape with a narration of the events in over an hour interview. Do we even understand the magnitude and implications of this accusation, if indeed it is true. Do we understand the implications of having a philandering, perverted and promiscuous senior pastor/ general overseer of a church Like COZA. I am beginning to think Christianity is lost already. So many people are not practicing Christianity. It is definitely something else masked as Christianity. |
VULCAN:Is it a crime to have babies out of wedlock? You really mean they were in a relationship at that time - you mean a married man/pastor with a little baby is in an extramarital relationship with a 17years old member of his church. And that is acceptable, right. You said she was married by Fats - please explain. |
Advancedman:You honestly think that post is reasonable? |
TonyeBarcanista:Tonye, I read your position above and I am struggling to get your point. I can only imply that you are trying to discredit the accuser by raising the issue that someone called Timi to inform him that his wife was being promiscuous with pastors.... Let me assume that she was promiscuous as accused and presented by you, is it not her body and her shame. As long as she did it willingly with willing man or men, I don't see an issue. The only person that can see a problem and take exceptions to such conduct is her husband and if he doesn't, that is their life. It is different from a case whereby you compel her or bully her, in other words - force her, into sex which is simply rape. Listen, the issue for me is not even primarily that he raped Busola. The issue is that several ladies have had similar encounters and sexual harassment encounters with this man that: is married to a wife with kids; leads a congregation of Christians in a denomination; is expected to be responsible leader. There are so many reasons Biodun Fatoyinbo should not be engaged in these philandering activities but developments indicates that he is heavily into such amorous activities despite being a senior pastor of a prominent church. He definitely has issues of philandering and sexual immorality which he needs to address. I am disappointed in him and I believe the least he could do is to start the process of redemption of his soul to address the problem. It is not easy but he has to try to break that trend, curse or bad habit. He will be taken seriously as someone in the process of redemption when he steps down from his leadership position, apologize to every lady he has engaged immorally and hurt, apologize to his congregation for conducting himself in such a bad manner and seek forgiveness from God almighty. |
joromii:Continue jare, iwo omo ti won biire. Yinmu. |
jrusky:I understand you. Like I said earlier, everyone can believe whatever they choose, it is a free world after all. |
kiyosaki1:If I talk till next year about the criteria, you most likely won't get it. I am almost certain you are not ready to reason dispassionately and objectively with me to enable you see a fake pastor in that man. You can believe what ever you wish, religion is not by force but a choice. |
joromii:I can understand your generation and type that often see with your eyes only, hardly with the mind. You definitely can not understand those of us that see primarily with the eye and ultimately with the mind. That is the reason you are often gullible, please learn to see with the mind. I am busy otherwise I would have offered to teach you but I trust there are potential teachers around you if you are willing to learn. |
kiyosaki1:You may know he is not successful; don't speak for everybody. People like you would also conclude that Asa Elemide is also unsuccessful. I know that Timi Dakolo's songs are classics and exceptional. His kind of music is for matured minds not noisemakers like you guys. I suspect you can't even hold the microphone in front your house on your street and sing talk less of matching someone who has done music to please mammoth crowd and earned so much income from classical music. Yet, you come on Nairaland to degrade the excellent works of a hard working man. |
joromii:I don see one with my discerning mind; his name is Biodun Fatoyinbo. |
jrusky:How much is the money Biodun Fatoyinbo borrowed Timi Dakolo wey him never pay so we can gather pay him back to enable us address the Biodun Fatoyinbo's philandering activities with ladies and perhaps married women which is unbecoming of a pastor and leader in the church of God. So you mean Busola dey get at Biodun because of the money wey him husband borrow but no fit return to Biodun Fatoyinbo. Yeye dey smell! |
joromii:Who is Biodun Fatoyinbo's spiritual father on earth? A responsible pastor will step down from his leadership position of the church and subject himself to internal investigation by the church management and face possible disciplinary measures. He is still clinging onto the leadership of the church because he knows that is the remaining power he has to control, bully and ambush the gullible Christians in his congregation. Of course, the smart ones will walk away with time. Honestly, I believe he is fake too. |
kiyosaki1:Na you wan crash him career abi? 30billion of you no go fit ohhhhhh |
hareskay:The truth is out already. It is left for those that are discerning and wise to make up their minds. The christianity was not forced on us by God or Jesus. It was an offer that God expects you to accept or reject consciously. Let the people make their choices. |
PopeFlatino:Unfortunately, Henry Onyekuru and Victor Osihmen have been dropped from starting line up. That is sad for me because I have a strong feeling that these two guys have a lot to offer. |
PopeFlatino:I understand the starting list is different from what we anticipated. Osimhen, Onyekuru and Uzoho are not on the list. |
