Babe, if the only issue you noticed is marijuana and you are able to communicate intelligently and effectively with him and he truly loves you.

You should give him a chance. I don't agree that all marijuana smokers are violent or have temper issues. I have met some angelic persons who happen to be addicted to marijuana.

The major reason for the significant drop in consumption must be that subsidy removal made the business of diversion of petroleum products to neighboring countries unattractive and unprofitable.

In the past, petroleum marketers ship petroleum products through Nigeria with disguise that the entire products are for Nigerian market. They claim subsidy on the shipment from the Nigerian government and then divert the bulk of the products to neighboring West African countries where they sell above Nigeria's regulated price.

It may shock you that petroleum products that probably was not shipped into Nigeria were presented as received inventories to claim subsidy payments for products not supplied.

That was the magic - the more you look, the less you see - of those days of subsidy.

CBT is the easiest and most refined way to test people in the world today, be it JAMB or post UTME screening. In fact, a lot of institutions in advanced societies do many of the GNS, GST or basic courses as CBT. A lot of professional bodies also adopted it for some course modules especially because of the ease of administration.

However, your point is noted. I will read carefully and properly subsequently.

The minister is an old man who probably does not understand the need for computer skills and the need to be savvy.

If the post UTME must be cancelled, that should not eliminate the use of Computer Based Test (CBT). He is obviously doing the bidding of a section of Nigeria that doesn't appreciate CBT.

Another poor decision from a strategic ministry that is essential to industrialisation, economic growth and development.

Combining the duties of minister of state for petroleum resources and GMD of NNPC was an anomaly ab-initio. It is a lot of responsibility for Ibe Kachikwu and it is also a control issue.

Combining such offices could compromise the system if the minister choose to be corrupt. For the purpose of control, checks and balances, the persons administering the both offices should be separated.

However, this is not a sack. Ibe should be relieved.

When the goveenment, especially GEJ administration, extended so much funds to the militants with the package of pipeline security contract and NIMASA contracts/fraud. We enriched them to the point that they could threaten a nation, they have so much funds to finance terror in Nigeria and around the West African territory.

Now we have to deal with the terror that we nurtured and funded. There are no better ways to handle the terrorist (militant groups) than to declare a full scale war against the terrorists.

Never negotiate with terrorists.

I wasn't expecting a married person like you to be fooled by statements that someone married out of pressure. Who pressurised you? Are you a baby?

Besides, pressure or otherwise, it was a decision you made consciously with understanding of the consequences. So you are expected to deal with the consequences not run away, dodge responsibility and blame others for your mistakes.

Bottom line:
Make your marriage work.
Enjoy your marriage despite the shortcomings.
Make yourself happy even if your spouse wouldn't make you happy.
Commit to God because marriage is God's idea and he knows more about it than we all do. He can see you through it because it is his idea.
Pray for your spouse and do everything to compliment your spouse and make him/her a better person.

Based on your position, I believe that you are not married and you need to be tutored and schooled on marriage. I think that will help reorientate you on the concept of marriage.

The drug allegation was never confirmed, for me it was about a scorned wife getting back at her sorry husband.

Even if it is true, I am not surprised because most entertainers do drugs and the wife could have handled the situation better. However, he messed up running to the media to tell all sorts - it was very irresponsible and irrational behavior.

We all learnt our learnt our lesson from their episodes: issue are better handled between the couple without involving the media and public.

When you see a couple celebrate years of marriage, smiling and happy. Don't ever think they did not have issues, differences, disagreements, fights and conflicts.

They were matured and reasonable enough to solve their problems.

They avoided the popular concept of irreconcilable differences in their marriage. As a matter of fact, there are no irreconcilable differences, it all depends on both parties and willingness to forgive and coexist despite shortcomings.

Marriage is management.
