musicwriter:If it is owned and meant for South Africa, then it should not be called Big Brother Naija, especially when all participants are presented as Nigerians. I disagree with you. |
That is a flimsy excuse by my standard. You made a business decision to execute and produce that show in South Africa because of the economic and investment returns. You are cheating the Nigerian government, economy, businesses and tax system. Multichoice and MTN business orientation is to enrich South Africa government and economy at the expense of Nigeria. It is obvious with your business models and operations. |
Bitcoin isn't Ponzi scheme! It is a tender that can be legal or otherwise in your environment however, it has value and is appreciating constantly. I will always invest in bitcoin. |
Find a way to make him understand the need for you to keep your job but if he insists, then never mind him. DON'T QUIT YOUR JOB! Besides, don't ever compel him to quit his job, the both of you will regret it. |
I stand with Amaechi on this issue. Safety measures require the government and contractor to shut down the airport for the period of repairs. We apologize for the inconveniences caused the public and stakeholders. |
It is difficult to determine which is best. The education level and standard is almost the same these days. |
Really, as big as you are, he threatened to beat you up. Wow! |
Who cares about Donald Trumps inauguration? I don't and I guess PHB wouldn't bother if not invited. PHB should have better challenges to address. |
Hi guys, my attempt to log on to the database since yesterday keeps indicating that my credentials are not recognized on the portal - as if I never applied for the job. I really don't understand that development. Can anyone explain to me or is there anyone with the same challenge |

BabaRamota1980:She suspended sex with him for reasons best known to her but presented as a need to do some things with God. Even the night he saw the prostitute, they were together but she declined and I guess he was in need so he did a prostitute and he stupidly confessed to her. She presented an opinion that was the beginning of their problem. I think sex was great between them. |
Please can we keep the advice coming. He needs it. |
Guys, He knows he messed up. He accepted his faults but wishes something can still be done to save the relationship. Do you agree with him? |
Story based on true life experience of a friend. I have been in a relationship for 2-3 years, she is from the middle belt and I am from the south west and we really loved each other. I can testify to her love and I really love her too despite that sometimes, we quarrel but I always find a way to resolve it especially because I can hardly do a whole day without talking to her. She was a respectful, nice and homely lady until recently;she is wife material. I made a couple of mistakes in the relationship: I had flings and I made a mistake of confessing a particular fling (with a prostitute) to her I yell at her sometimes when I am angry but I always apologize to sort out our differences I had some amorous chats with some ladies and she discovered by going through my phone, I never knew she was gonna use this against me. I actually exchanged nude pictures with a lady and she saw it on my phone. I missed an opportunity to meet the parents a year ago because of logistics problem and the fact that I took the meeting for granted, apparently,it was pretty important to her then. Gradually, she started keeping her distance from me: I realized she stopped calling me regularly until she stopped completely, I noticed the change in attitude but I took the red flags for granted. Recently, she broke up with me and I have tried everything to change her mind. I made promises and talked,I took responsibility for all the blames and insisted it will never happen again. I tried everything to save the relationship. I became desperate to keep her and i made another mistake of discussing the matter with her aunt. She got more offended, became confrontational and disrespectful. She became very adamant about the break-up and blocked me on all social media. She also placed my phone lines on permanent reject on her phone. I have tried to involve all the people that I feel could change her mind but she is so adamant. It has been devastating for me in the last 4 mths and worse now. I really love her and my efforts to move on are poor. House, please advice me. She has been working on breaking up the relationship for 4 months. She has also been seeing another man discretely and she confessed it to me but I wonder if I can still get my woman back.I really don't wanna loose her but she insists she has lost the love for me and could never trust or love me anymore. What do you advice? |
tempex88:Where is the location of the job? |
Hello people, I need a professional registered as a certified member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria(CITN) to assist me. I need to register with the professional body and I need a professional member to be my referee. Please contact me if you wish to assist,my phone number is 07051306901. Kindly assist. |
I agree with the sale of item 3, 4,5 g 6. But I disagree with the need to sell item 1 & 2 because it will be suicidal. Even at the sale of the refineries, effort should be made to entice foreign and local investors to establish standard and advanced refineries in the 6 geopolitical regions, at least. |
This episode of MPR, CRR and lending rate is interesting considering the dimensions of the Minister of Finance and CBN government. The position of the minister and contrary action of the CBN government and MPR committee is a classical display of separation of powers. This is the beauty of democracy and the more reason we may need to rethink the idea of blaming Kemi Adeosun for every negative or wrong fiscal and monetary policy implemented by the federal government. However, it also indicates the failure of consultations between the ministry of finance and CBN government, by extension as well, the MPR committee. There is a huge disconnect between the FG/ministry of finance and the CBN government. Though we know the MPR committee is mainly constituted by commercial bank management executives who are primarily capitalists, profits driven and selfish; the collective interest of the nation is secondary objective to the commercial banks management. Going forward, the government should ensure the following: CBN governor, at the expiration of his tenure, is replaced by intellectually sound economists and finance expert with excellent leadership qualities; a person who has the interest of the nation as primary objective. Stimulate the economy by injecting funds especially on capital projects. Identify the sectors of the economy that has the potential to create employment and wealth in short and long term, inject funds specially to stimulate and empower industries in those sectors. Never consider the idea of increasing or reducing tax rates, instead focus on taxation drive to capture more eligible tax payers. You will be shocked at the level of tax evasion and avoidance perpetuated in this country. Empower major revenue generation agencies of the government. Empower the agencies, improve and expand the capacity and human capital required to drive the agencies. Review the welfare and remuneration packages of the agencies to encourage the staff to shun corruption and graft practices and motivate the staff to deliver on the madantes and targets of the agencies. Deploy improved technology and computerization to improve efficiency. Identity the loop holes and avenues of government funds diversion in the system of those agencies and block the avenues and holes. The major agencies are NPA, NCS, FIRS and NIMASA. Do more in the area of consultation with relevant agencies, bodies, government arms, CBN and private sector industries. Educate the public on efforts to improve the economy and the need for collective responsibility to achieve economic stability, growth and development. This is my piece of advice for now. |
My personal opinion: I think Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is an attention seeker, of late. Her image makers and publicity managers are seriously trying to sell her to whoever. In respect of Kemi Adeosun, I think her critics are so worried that she has about 3years to prove that she is a fantastic manager of the economy. She has an opportunity to shock bookmakers with a possible excellent performance. Kemi is doing fine as far as I am concerned. I have no reason to classify her as a failure yet. |
positivec:This is an unacceptable advice! Dump the lady and thank God you discovered. If op stays with her, she will keep having affairs under your nose, even in your matrimonial home. |
This man is sick; he needs deliverance. PMB should just disengage him. |

Did anybody try to follow Jimoh Ibrahim's track record. From Global Fleets, to NICON insurance, to Virgin Nigeria Airways and others. He has been a disaster in the management of most of these companies. Do you remember the aviation intervention fund which he accessed with Virgin Nigeria credentials via UBA bank only to divert it and claim he never collected the funds while the bank was insisting he did collect the funds. He is a very arrogant, spontaneous and proud man. He doesn't do critical thinking or he is reckless in his behavior. I hate to see this kind of man lead Ondo state as a governor. |
My take in this issue: It will be difficult to sack Emefiele because of the CBN act which protects the governor; sacking of Sanusi Lamido was an aberration under law. I see his incompetence everyday, the people who put him in office needed a yes man and that is the reason we have this problem. I remember that someone, I think it was Oby E, that complained about the separated ministry of finance and ministry of planning. There are little or no sychrony between the policies of both ministries. Kemi Adeosun may be a good administrator but the condition of he economy required the combined team of experts, technocrats and economists to solve the problems. She can also begin to work closely with Udo Udoma on fiscal policies and economic planning so they can align their policies and plans. I pity the both Udo and Kemi but they need to work with valuable minds to bail out the country. The major issue is the master - PMB. I wonder if he listens to them. I get the feeling he doesn't allow them required space to operated. I get the feeling his autocratic tendencies is killing the capacity of his team. |
otabuko:I concur with you on this. Bubu has no defined personal mission, vision and objectives that serves the collective interest of the nation from the onset. His mission and vision was just to be the President of Nigeria. We expected that he lacks ideas on economic growth, development and prosperity abinitio but we expected him to harness and work with a formidable team. However, what we have today is amazingly disappointing. I personally think he doesn't listen to the creative and ingenious members of his team. He rather listens to empty heads who are satisfied with benefits of office that they can access. The kitchen cabinet is so bereft of ideas. I think he is an autocratic leader, not democratic leader. He should learn to serve the ultimate interest of the entire Nigerians and future generation. |
I have my reservations concerning the capital projects distribution across the states and also the regions. I believe the parameters for determination of capital projects for the regions were flawed. Some regions and states were not adequately covered in the distribution of the capital projects. I think capital projects proposal for all the regions should be comprehensive, the selection process should engage ranking and prioritization of these projects to ensure fairness and equitable distribution. |
Thumbs up for Prof Charles Soludo. |
Fayose signed a fantastic, commendable and generally acceptable bill into law. I am with him on this one. It is about time for the NC, SW, SE and SS states to think about similar laws. |
Segun Oni; APC - Nobody employed you nor APC to do impossible things. All we demand of you are normal and expected of any reasonable government. I see this as an admission of incompetence or weakness on the part of APC. "If the heat is too much, quit the kitchen". APC should resign and leave office for competent parties and persons. You don't have to perform miracles to lead the country towards prosperity, economic growth and development. |
Can we have further breakdown of this projects? Let us analyze the potentials and possible impact of the projects to enable us justify or criticize the projects. |
