"his angry puppies."
Was that an error or.....
The lioness's offsprings are cubs. Lioness is not "he" but female.
If the activities of BDC operators in Nigeria is doing significant damage to the economy and highly unsettling the FOREX market so much that EFCC had to engage BDC operators in Abuja in fisticuffs and armed confrontation.
Why is it difficult for CBN to withdraw all BDC operators licences and restrict all sale and purchase of forex to deposit money banks.
What are the implications, advantages and disadvantages of withdrawing the BDC licences of operators in Nigeria?
Does Olayemi Cardoso own or have vested interest that he is protecting in the BDC business, to the detriment of the country?
CBN needs to withdraw all BDC licences and declare transactions in forex outside the DM Banks illegal. Anyone who wants to buy or sell Forex should approach the commercial and deposit money banks.
Outlaw payments and transactions on rent/lease or sale of properties within Nigeria in forex.
Payment for air travel tickets in forex must be stopped. Any airline that can't quote their fares and receive payment in naira should leave the Nigerian market.
Payment for major commodities bulk purchase like petroleum products, within Nigeria should only be denominated in naira.
Sustain forex liquidity in all Deposit Money banks in Nigeria.
Stop payment of forex to recipients of MoneyGram, Western Union and others. The recipient must receive the equivalent in naira into bank accounts or across counter.
Ultimately CBN should reduce the level of dollarization of the Nigerian economy.
englishmart: The CBN is currently run by incompetent people who have zero idea what the issue is, let alone the solution. Tinubu simply planted stooges with no requisite capacity to milk the country dry while they await some inexistent miracles.
How did the woman enter the den? Is there no precaution they normally take to avoid direct confrontation with these dangerous animals knowing that they are dangerous?
It is just like going into a brood of vipers and expect to come out unharmed and fine. I think that woman wanted to commit suicide and the man was unfortunate to be there.
Also, I thought they usually have sedatives on standby for occasions like this. If the animal confronts a victim inadvertently it should be sedated immediately with a sedation gun.
There is a lot of negligence on the part of the Zoo management and it has cost them lives! This is Nigeria. Terrible.
Your analysis are spot on:
How did a female staff get in direct contact with the 9 year old lion?
Why did the man have to intervene without protective gears?
What is the safety procedures of approaching the lions den for any reason, especially staff?
The Zoo management have a lot of questions to answer and I think this particular zoological garden in Ife Osun state is highly unsafe.
Thabothabo101: It's you who should be shutting up. The commenter said the right thing. Why would you be in a lion’s cage and not expect to be injured or killed? It's a wild animal, not a pet.
We're you there?
So when a lion kills a human, accidentally or deliberately due to the human error or mistake, they should not eliminate the lion?
They should excuse the lion and allow it to live?
Killing such lion is an acceptable practice every where around the world.
Omoawoke: You people too like English, it seems many of you are cowards that only flex muscles in Nigeria or online. I dey use God beg you to try this in a western country. You go know why fowl no dey piss. Empty noise makers
You are not a good listener and you just want to base your argument on false foundation.
We have told you several times that this is Nigeria, not USA Europe or other countries.
We are a people with culture, tradition, religion and personalities that don't accept such dress in public space.
You don't have to like that about us; you can complain till thy kingdom come but we remain Nigerians - that is how we are cultured, trained and wired.
Live with this information or die questioning it - we don't care.
Omoawoke: You are so ignorant, the girl right was violated. The video is an assault on her and her privacy. And all this english you dey speak won’t help matter, If you want don’t like your life or freedom, don’t mind your business. Keep speaking grammar
But she is the first offender: she violated, attacked and harassed the minds of people in the public space first.
The guy was building his case with the recording of the lady that he did. He needs evidence and that video is a good evidence.
We mind our business and protect our minds. That is the reason we object to such dress code.
Omoawoke: The point is this, I agree her dressing is inappropriate, but the person not minding his business is a baboon and it’s very inappropriate to video a stranger without her permission. This is a lawless country and please stop comparing with Islamic laws that are anti-freedom. Islam and Islamic dominated countries and ideaologies will not mind to bring the world to its knees
People can't mind their business when you harassing them sexually. You attack their minds with real and visual images of yourself that can arouse them, influence children negatively and be seductive.
The mind is very important because it processes a lot for us and we need to be careful of what we take into our minds.
The guy that did the video was doing it to record the attack on people's minds. Do you watch "Cheaters" on Digital TV or online? Do they have permission to record those scenes? No! Do you know that such recording can be lodged as evidence for or against anyone under investigation or view?
If the lady would love to protect her privacy then she should respect the the minds, dignity and mentality of others in public space by dressing properly. She can still dress sexy without exposing her sensitive and amorous body parts.
Do you recognize that there is sharia law in some parts of Nigeria despite that we have a statutory laws and constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria and legislative laws? Is Nigeria a wholly Islamic country?
However, it is not about domination by Islam. It is a mode of dress that Islam, Christianity and traditionalists frown at and classify as unacceptable in Nigeria.
Omoawoke: I don’t see Nigerians fighting to enter Iran or Iraq or Saudi. You all wanna live in the west. Na why many boys dey enter trouble for western countries
Maybe you didn't get the point:
Respect the culture, tradition and ways of people in whatever country you find yourself otherwise, you will be in serious problem.
In Nigeria, especially the northern Nigeria, the culture and tolerance of people for such dressing is almost zero. Even in liberal parts of Nigeria, people frown at it.
stagger: Una never see anything. Come Barbados where I was for a while and you will see until you are tired of seeing. Skimpy clothes and bikinis even inside supermarkets is just the order of the day. It was a culture shock for me.
If you don’t, enter america, don’t mind your business. When girl dey pass, they look her yansh and dey shout like the way they do in Nigeria “ Aunti, na you dey carrry this kind yansh!!!! Yeh see yansh!!! Or carry video dey video am.
If you don’t end up with bullets in your body, or end up inside police cell… call me he goat
That is America, this is Nigeria. We have different culture and tradition compared to Americans and Europeans.
Please, ask that lady to dress like that on the streets in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, China and some others.
SaLongs1: The same you and the other hypocrites all over the place will jump over to Western countries when given the slightest opportunity but non of you choses Iran or Saudi Arabia or Syria because you know those places are hell on earth due to extremist ideology of Islam that governs such places. Let me assure you that I have no intention of leaving where I am at, despite all the attacks of Boko Haram, ISWAP, Ansaru, UGM and Marauding herdsmen that are the products of the same extremist religion being practiced by the terrorists living all over Gaza.
Ode!
Iran or Saudi Arabia is better than every African country in terms of economic situation, wealth, standard of living, industrialization and other factors.
The only challenge is their tolerance for other religion but Islam and communication. That is the only reason I will not be relocating to those countries. If I am Muslim, I will gladly relocate, work and live there.
Is there more hell on earth than the condition that Israelites are subjecting Palestinians to in Gaza strip and In Israel.
See the terrorist (Israelis and You) accusing others of terrorism.
Western countries can accommodate me if I am permitted and wish to live and work in those countries. I am not a terrorist or with any history of terrorism like the Israelites and perhaps you.
talk2hb1: How she choose to dress does not concern anybody, what concern everybody is that there are kids of other people around, which we won't want their kids exposed to her nudity. Should parents or every other person hide because of her or what?
Sir, I beg to differ slightly:
How she chooses to dress in her house or compound or space is no other person's concern.
However, it becomes a public concern when her dressing in public space is offensive, embarrassing and despicable.
SaLongs1: And if e sure for you why not goan join the rest of those cowering Islamic terrorists using their women, children and destinies as human shields to escape the consequences of 7 October when your likes were cheering them on? Death to all terrorists and their lovers!!
Apply for Visa to Israel or USA and let us see if they will give you.
You reside in one lowlife African country and wake up everyday to support evil.
"Evil thrives when good men keep quiet and do nothing.
GistMedia0: In a spine-chilling turn of events, the streets of Abuja became a battleground today as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) clashed with Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in a nail-biting confrontation that left bystanders in utter shock.
Eyewitnesses describe the scene as something straight out of an action-packed thriller, as EFCC agents descended upon the BDC operators with an air of intensity rarely witnessed on the streets of the capital. With tensions already running high, the situation quickly escalated into a heart-stopping showdown as both sides refused to back down.
Caught in the midst of this terrifying spectacle, bystanders scrambled for safety as shouts filled the air and the sound of scuffling reverberated through the streets. Mobile phone cameras captured the chaos, with footage showing the intense standoff between the EFCC agents and the defiant BDC operators.
CBN should simply withdraw the license of all BDC operators in Nigeria. That is the only way to solve the problem of black market spectators creating inflation and scarcity of dollars.
Brandiebird: I think op has lost his car. According to op’s subsequent replies, the buyer is a big man who has connections within the police force and the community. He also has money to blow since he got the car so cheap he probably has an extra million to frustrate op. He also has op’s money to further frustrate op!
I’m also sure they didn’t make the agreement in private, there were witnesses who would testify against op. Also, op knows what he did was wrong and he’s looking for loopholes. Between witness, bank statements and probably ops own words to other people it will be proven that he wanted to sell his car and then he changed his mind.
Fu. ck big man, why didn't he buy his own car instead.
Always82: Go back and read the last paragraph of the writte up again.(l return his money a day after his last payment) Get the police involved now, now ,now.... ...otherwise he will disfigure the car or cause irreparable damage u won't be able to prove he did....u would lose from two angles
...
Yes, involve police but if the does any damage to the car, he will be liable.
matify83: Going by your gentleman agreement, there shouldn't have been an issue since it was an informal deal all along.
However, keeping his money even for 2 weeks before returning it back is a loss for him going by our galloping inflation.
You denied him good use of his funds and now returning it without interest.
By reneging on the deal, he comes off the greatest loser.
Oga he didn't steal the money. It was willingly sent to the seller and the seller willingly returned it.
If he wants interest on it, he should sue the seller to court and he must must be able to prove that he is registered to do money lending business which was not the case on the first place.
Mr Seller, make a report at the nearest police station and establish a case of threat to your life against him, harassment and trespassing and attempt to steal your car.
We can't be fooled by media trials sponsored by IDF and welcomed by their followers.
If the Al Jazeera journalist is suspected to be a terrorist, get him arrested and tried in a competent and unbiased court of law.
This accusation is no justification for the genocide that Israel has been executing against Palestinians. Israel is the one killing women, children and unarmed civilians yet trying to like a god judging some terrorist called Hamas. Are those kids that Israel murdered, in mass, Hamas or terrorists?
CondemnBattery: You want to know my relationship with them?
Maybe you should think back to October 7. When these bastards attacked unarmed civilians, killing, raping and kidnapping the Israeli. And yes, anyone against terorist and their sympathizers like you is related to me. So get lost
That is the reason you are now in the business of killing kids, women and aged; calling the entire Palestine people terrorists abi.
Goodlady: It's not about thirst for blood, it's letting you know that the madness of this pedophile below over 1500 years ago isn't compared to what you guys ll experience in return. Hamas did Oct 7th, 2023. IDF has done more. So make una see say no be Una sabi drink red coloured liquids. Some dey use am bath!
So you and Israelites are improved and better terrorists than Hamas, abi?
