It means you should try and say something meaningful for you to be able to convince the VO that you have things that you are doing such as working or went for a professional course e.t.c and not just staying at home and being idle doing nothing at all

Ricky Rozay: Yea, it's a private uni, but they give lots of scholarships to international students to make college education much affordable compared to some uni's in the US that dont even give any penny or some form of scholarship to int'l students.

Most schools in the US have soccer team. Sport and extra-curriculum activities is important for every student and most schools make this facility available to them..

So concentrate more on getting the scholarship. Then when you get your scholarship, and you hopefully get your visa and travel to the US, during your school Orientation service, talk to one of the International centres and let em know the talent you possess in playing soccer. They should be able to get you into their team..

Everythin na step by step, you shall get there!

Not all US schools have soccer team am sure you are refering to football team which is difer from soccer team. I will contact howard asap

They give scholarships to students with your score range..

A friend of mine who scored BELOW what you had in the SAT, got scholarship to howard university and he is already in the US studying there...

And then someone i know said she hot abt 15k worth scholarship from east tennesee ( sat and essay) never checked their website just second hand info

I see you getting the Visa this second time.. because you took the SAT and you have a good score as well. This score is almost similar to mine as well..

This also goes out to all prospective undergraduate students wishing to study in the US. Please take the SAT. It will help you alot.

@Walspring is a perfect example of a serious student!!!! This is someone who has even left high school since 2004, and he still Aced the exam. So if he can do it, you too can do it as well. Nothing is impossible!

If the person have GTB naira mastercard ATM or any Nigeria bank provided he/she can use the outside Nigeria, just post the money inside the person bank account here in Nigeria and the person will withdraw it via atm machine or POS at walmart or store to purchase money order and the person can then deposit the money order into his/her US bank account. Thats my own little knowledge ooo

Me:Missouri. VO:how did u learn abt d skool me :Gave her d answer,she seemed impressed. VO:why webster uni. Me:told her. VO:what was ur highest qualification,what universit,wen did u graduate,what have u bin doin since den,re u marrried,do u have kid,re u travellin alone,who is ur sponsor,what does he do.Me:answered all it was a lenthy interview but me and d young lady had fun cos it was like a chat she just brought out d pick up form and was abt givin me she just removed my i20 and said i shld hold on dat classes starts today i told her i had an extension letter(dat was d only doc required) she went tru it spent time she just said sorry she cant grant me visa dat d extension letter doesnt count pls wat went wrong d vo was very young youngest among dem dont no wat 2 do will defer 2 spring

Am sorry to hear about this.. But with what you stated above i think the VO thought you might not be able to meet the extension given to you which is 10 days and i am sure she is think you will get your passport latest by thursday and before you book and fly e.t.c. Assuming you showed her that you already booked and paid for you flight alongside with the extension letter maybe that would convince her since you and the VO had fun during your interview with her

flynbird: Wait oh! I dont seem to fully understand this F-1 student 20hrs on-campus work... Is it after the first academic year that we are eligible to work? Or does it apply to just undergrad and not graduate student?

If am not wrong i think some school own maybe instant while another school is after a semester while other school is after 2 semester so it all depend on schools but i strongly advise you to ask ur DSO or international student office.

Nigerians are not allowed to pay sevis fee with credit card. Its better she pay via western union for you which the payment will reflect within 1-3 business days
