Politics › Re: Why Bini And Isan Can't Just Settle Their Differences. by WATCHOVER(m): 10:35am On Mar 04, 2020
Pride is the cause. The difference they have is in the aspect of seniority, the binis feel they are senior that where the Oba lives, hence feel they can control any other tribes, but the Ishans believes that even if you are senior you should give other tribes their rights and respect their sovereignty.
Imagine a man from another tribe marries a bini woman the family of the woman will want the man to worship them.

Sentiments apart the Ishans has produced one of the best administrations in Edo.

Supreme Court knows that they made an error but as we have it. They don't want to give room for countless litigation.

Tanko and his team should bow their heads in shame not only because of their errors but because they failed to explain to the legal world the meaning of their actions.
What a shame.

PDP should take it in good faith.

Amotekun: We’ve Broken Ties With Yoruba Nation.- Miyetti Allah

The National President of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Muhammadu Kirowa, says that the association have broken ties with the Yoruba nation for going ahead with their Amotekun Security Network.

Kirowa speaking at Abuja says that the association and it’s affiliates will cease to support the political ambitions of the Yoruba people, saying that the much debated Amotekun Security Network was formed to disrupt cattle herders.

*We cannot be supporting those who are against us. The only reason for forming Amotekun is Fulani people, to drive us away from their land. Tell me are we not all Nigerians?*
I have seen that the Amotekun boys have been armed. If they are armed, we have no choice than to arm cattlemen because they need to protect themselves from the danger which Amotekun will pose to them.

They cannot reject Ruga and also reject open grazing, they must choose one. All I can tell you now is that they are pushing us too far. They are really pushing us to the walls. We have held meetings with relevant government agencies and they promised to look into the issue.

How can they go ahead with Amotekun when the police issued them notice to stop? How can they ignore the President’s directive? I see that there is an evil motive behind this security network.

*I heard they have also endowed them with charms to kill our cows. For any cow killed, their government will pay double for it. For every Fulani herdsman killed, violence will erupt. We have been oppressed for too long. It’s time to tell Yoruba people that we are not cowards and by Allah’s power, we will crush Amotekun and crush all their evil plots against the Fulani race.*

Only if that action was performed in his capacity as Deputy Governor.

At the point of swearing in, the governor and deputy becomes distinct legal entities and are individually responsible for actions.

If the matter is election related, both will bear the consequences.

If the court proves that his nysc was forged then his nomination becomes void as well it's as good as PDP didn't present any candidate in the election as well.

The worst case scenario should have been to declare a rerun in the controversial 388 polling units.
Even Uzodinma himself prayed the courts for same.

The Supreme Court went straight to declare him winner without taking cognisance of the fact that even
with the fraudulent votes Uzodinma did not still meet the geographical spread as decreed by the constitution.

Then Uzodinma is a goner

But wait Uzodima 4cked up by first praying for a rerun which means he already admitted that election not get head in the 388 polling Units.

Oga,stop this.swearing them in means nothing
Hahaha look swearing in means a lot my brother.

If David Lyon had been sworn in before the supreme Court judgement his deputy would have been the only one to carry the blame. Because the law makes us understand that before you're sworn in what happens to one affects the other but after swearing in the become two independent individuals.
