http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/012-apostasy.htm From the Hadith: The reason why executing apostates has always been well-ensconced in Islamic law is that there is an indisputable record of Muhammad and his companions doing exactly that according to the reliable Hadith. According to verse 4:80 of the Quran: "Whoso obeyeth the Messenger obeyeth Allah." Bukhari (52:260) - "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " Note that there is no distinction as to how that Muslim came to be a Muslim. Bukhari (83:37) - "Allah's Apostle never killed anyone except in one of the following three situations: (1) A person who killed somebody unjustly, was killed (in Qisas,) (2) a married person who committed illegal sexual intercourse and (3) a man who fought against Allah and His Apostle and deserted Islam and became an apostate." Bukhari (84:57) - [In the words of] "Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'" Bukhari (89:271) - A man who embraces Islam, then reverts to Judaism is to be killed according to "the verdict of Allah and his apostle." Bukhari (84:58) - "There was a fettered man beside Abu Muisa. Mu'adh asked, 'Who is this (man)?' Abu Muisa said, 'He was a Jew and became a Muslim and then reverted back to Judaism.' Then Abu Muisa requested Mu'adh to sit down but Mu'adh said, 'I will not sit down till he has been killed. This is the judgment of Allah and His Apostle (for such cases) and repeated it thrice.' Then Abu Musa ordered that the man be killed, and he was killed. Abu Musa added, 'Then we discussed the night prayers'" Bukhari (84:64-65) - "Allah's Apostle: 'During the last days there will appear some young foolish people who will say the best words but their faith will not go beyond their throats (i.e. they will have no faith) and will go out from (leave) their religion as an arrow goes out of the game. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection.'" Abu Dawud (4346) - "Was not there a wise man among you who would stand up to him when he saw that I had withheld my hand from accepting his allegiance, and kill him?" Muhammad is chastising his companions for allowing an apostate to "repent" under duress. (The person in question was Muhammad's former scribe who left him after doubting the authenticity of divine "revelations" upon finding out that he could suggest grammatical changes. He was brought back to Muhammad after having been captured in Medina). |
Emonkey1:The Quran prescribes a very elaborate process of dealing with people who abandon the faith, basically they are not to escape with their LIVES. Qur'an (4:89) - "They wish that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, and then you would be equal; therefore take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then, if they turn their backs, take them, and slay them wherever you find them; take not to yourselves any one of them as friend or helper." Qur'an (9:11-12) - "But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge. And if they break their pledges after their treaty (hath been made with you) and assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief - Lo! they have no binding oaths - in order that they may desist." The only freedom in Islam is the freedom to become a Muslim. |
mazaje:You're right. The Quran is OBVIOUSLY a plagiarized copy of the Bible. Even Jesus makes an appearance. Muslims don't seem to notice because they've never read the bible. |
Ranchhoddas:Apparently he died for you without asking for your permission. Now we won't hear the end of it. That's like painting your neighbor's house without asking him for permission, and then giving the man sh)it later on for acting selfish to someone who painted his whole house free of charge. Jesus should keep his butt in the soil. |
Hiswordxray:It's only called harmony to those whose brains are already occupied with confusion. The subatomic particles in your brain are vibrating in a state of confusion and that's why you can only appreciate confusion in nature. People like you will one day arrive at the scene of an intense gun battle, with bullets whizzing everywhere, and think that they hear P Square music in the noises that the bullets make. |
ooman:He doesn't mind presenting absurdity as rationality. The iPhone is God, too according to him, because it happens to be a very influential thing. If you follow his logic, or lack thereof, you will soon realize that there is no limit to what can be God. Even your favorite pillow or pair of shoes can be God. |
Hiswordxray:How can contradictory interpretations be in harmony? Will the holy spirit tell one person that eating pork is a sin and tell another that eating pork is not a sin? SMFH. |
You're not going to achieve anything by talking to Folly. He's on my troll list and will be on yours too. Just give it some time. He hasn't yet unleashed the full power of his silliness yet. This Folly person once told me that GEJ, the Nigerian president is God, according to the dictionary. He then proceeded to tell me that GEJ possesses another God called Ori Apesin, bringing the total number of Gods inside GEJ to 2. His wife also possesses this Ori thing, and she is a God too, according to the dictionary, so at any given point, there are no less than FOUR Gods locked behind the doors of the presidential chambers. |
GooseBaba:Your ancestors must have been up to something because I'm starting to feel the same way. |
Hiswordxray:He told you to do whatever you like? |
Five people filled with the same holy spirit will interpret the same bible verse in five different ways. Clearly, someone is lying. |
Nigerian witches should reconsider their choices of animal disguises. How come they never change into any of the big cats like lions, tigers, leopards? Those ones inspire fear at night. |
"Human history has become too much a matter of dogma taught by 'professionals' in ivory towers as though it's all fact. Actually, much of human history is up for grabs. The further back you go, the more that the history that's taught in the schools and universities begins to look like some kind of faerie story." Graham Hancock |
princedoz:Dude, they hack everyone. Don't let anybody deceive you. Didn't you hear what Edward Snowden said or do you think the man was only exaggerating? Every phone line in the US is tapped, as a start. They can also remotely assume control of the cameras in your laptop and phone. That's why rule one of terrorism is not to fck with electronic transmissions. |
"Nobody is smarter than you are. And what if they are? What good is their understanding doing you?" Terence Mckenna I believe he was a humanist, although not a particularly secular one. |
Hiswordxray:No. My purpose here is to bring the madness to a halt. CLEARLY, you and the Ayatollah cannot both be telling the truth. |
Hiswordxray:What about me? |
That boy in North Korea is on some psychoactive prescription medication. He recently murdered his uncle, killed ALL of the man's relatives, and then made the AUNTIE, his father's sister, a high ranking official in the government. He's doing his thing. |
Centrifude:Africa has never been out of the shadows in my lifetime. |
esere826:Dogmatic? Is that how you describe people who claim to have access to the word of the creator of the universe? If one of these Gods could talk to me and demonstrate his attributes, I would be more dogmatic than the Ayatollah himself. |
Hiswordxray:Being or beings? According to you, the being was Jesus Christ. Muslims say Allah did it, the Hindus say it was Lord Brahma. |
acenazt:Hahaha. You're funny as fck dude. Well, at least he didn't accuse someone of smuggling an anti-matter weapon into the country and using it to destroy the building. |
esere826:The incredible part is that the Biblical account is NOT TRUE. |
evil999:"Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor was born on 26 February 1984. The son of Nigerian parents from the Yoruba ethnic group, he has three brothers and two sisters." http://www.theguardian.com/football/2007/oct/28/newsstory.arsenal1 |
esere826:You were clearly referring to the exodus account of the bible. I wouldn't want to see you backtrack now. 600,000 people in one small desert for half a century and they left not one piece of evidence behind? Were they sleeping on the sand? |
esere826:Correction: the being you think started everything is different from the beings that others worship as the creator. We know this to be true because there are different manuals which could not have all come from the SAME being. So the atheist is left with the unpleasant choice of selecting the appropriate being from a multitude of other beings. Points 0 to 10 are irrelevant if everyone is presumably facing some form of punishment from one of these beings. Would Allah approve of your activities? Would Krishna? |
If she's Ghanaian then Adebayor is from Togo. |
evil999:By the time Buhari finishes with you, you will be looking to add GEJ on Facebook. Hahaha. The grass always looks GREENER on the other side. It isn't. |
esere826:No thinking person today believes that the exodus was an ACTUAL EVENT. Even RABBIS are finally telling the truth, that the thing was a fictional story. Better learn about African exodus from somewhere, and leave the Jewish myth alone. http://www.beliefnet.com/Faiths/Judaism/2004/12/Did-The-Exodus-Really-Happen.aspx# |
Christmas is used by corporations as a marketing period, not for religion. American pastors and Christians are flooding to Walmart and Target looking for cheap Flat screen TVs and washing machines. Young people are shopping for outfits to wear to Christmas parties at different clubs Jesus is the LAST thing on anyone's mind here. Besides, December 25 began as a PAGAN holiday and was NEVER the birthday of Jesus in the first place. What is the TRUE ORIGIN of Christmas? Where did it come from? Did you know Yeshua the Messiah was born nowhere NEAR December 25, but that was the "birth day" of the sun- god, "Sol Invictus" or "Mithras"? Did you know December 25 was the concluding day of the pagan winter festival called the "Saturnalia"? Where did "Santa Claus" come from? The "Christmas tree"? How did this pagan feast become connected with "Christianity"? Here is an amazing "whale of a tale"! http://www.hope-of-israel.org/cmas1.htm |
sonmvayina:Jacob engaged in a physical hand to hand combat session with either an angel or Jehovah himself in Genesis 32. The two males fought ALL NIGHT long and the place was name Peniel, like the pineal gland which controls visual hallucinations. The bible was written by Semitic native doctors under the influence of psychedelic drugs. |
Joshthefirst:Christmas in America is about consumerism, not Jesus. Jesus is the name of a Hispanic male and Hispanics are the light skinned black people here. Corporations use Christmas to increase their 4th quarter profits. That Jesus business you're referring to is only in your head. |
