waldigit:Who is this God? I can name no less than 5 Gods on this religious section, different Gods that are worshiped by different people. There's Yahweh, Allah, Sango, You and I, and Patience Jonathan. Which one is Frosbel trying to outsmart? |
asalimpo:I assume that you have an open mind, so I'll try to respond as honestly as possible. Most atheists, including myself, grew up in a Christian environment. This means that as a child, I was ALREADY told that Islam and other religions were false. You, no doubt, feel the EXACT same way, unless you tend to hold two contrasting ideas in your head simultaneously. I used to insult Mohammed as a brainwashed Christian child. It came easily for me, after all, I was "covered with the blood" of another deity and he was the competition. I never insulted Jesus. I'm only doing now, what I did to Islam in the past. But I feel the same way about ALL organized religions that have a personal, prayer answering God. There's no preference. In response to your question about the Eastern Religion and Local African religion, they do not post that many threads here as advertisement of their Gods. When they do, lemme know and I'll be on it. |
Princecalm:The funny thing with holy books is that they are never UPDATED. If I told you now, that I spoke to God, and he instructed me to forget about turning the other cheek, would you believe me? NO. Jesus in the bible did the exact same thing. He showed up and decided to change the Yahweh-ordained laws of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Like I said, in predominantly Muslim countries, maybe even in Northern Nigeria, the offense is punishable by death. |
Sarhamsyn:Two teams play in the finals, one team always loses. I saw a magician on YouTube predict the score of the World Cup final, with the name of scorer and exact minute of goal. That was an impressive magical feat. Joshua's own was the cheap one. |
benalvino1:Be a decent human being, provide a citation for the work that you copied. The person you're talking to is using his own words. Use your own or provide a link to the words you copy. It's what Jesus would have done. |
How are you gonna wash yer a/ss with water if you're using the restroom at Wal-Mart? The deed is almost impossible. Water is good for washing and cleaning almost anything. But to suggest that people use water to wash their a/ss is nasty. Unless you're jumping directly in the shower with yer sh.itty hands. |
Drunk bit.ch. Get off the curb! |
Princecalm:Jesus came with laws that were different from Jewish Law and traditions. In Saudi Arabia today, the punishment for that crime is death, preferably by decapitation. You can't show up and tell people to turn the other cheek when Yahweh ALREADY told them that an eye should cost another eye. That's considered blasphemy and in countries that rely on a holy book for guidance, that crime is the same as TREASON. |
asalimpo:Is there a religion in which Santa Claus is worshipped as the primary deity? If not, then there's no equivocation. The primary Gods on this forum are Yahweh and Allah. Both of them do not exist. But adults believe that they do, and societies are being designed with that reality in mind. I'm well within the confines of sanity to do anything I can to temper the spread of this disease of mass delusion. If it makes you happy, I'll also behave the same way against any God known as Santa Claus too. Just point out the Santa followers and watch me ridicule them online. |
Princecalm:Wasn't he tried in a court of law? Listen, in the 50's, entering a "Whites Only" restroom was a crime. Criminal statutes vary with the time and place. Jesus may not have been guilty today, but he must have broken a law to have been dragged into court. Maybe the law prohibited people from calling themselves God or Messiah. |
benalvino1:I have to commend you for admitting that all you have is faith. At least you're an honest person. Probably even the first one to admit that on NL. |
costandi:Another crash was averted yesterday. Same airline and country, I believe. So which one was the prophecy talking about? |
That Joshua fellow is so concerned about foreign prophecies to the point where he almost lost his own life when his church building collapsed. Hahaha. Atheist in disguise. Anyone who claims to perform miracles from God is an atheist. |
Princecalm:All deaths are not murders. Some people kill in self defense. Sometimes, death serves as the ultimate punishment for a crime, as in the case of Jesus, who, it is alleged, was in violation of Roman or Jewish law. |
Where is Tb Joshua? One of his prophecies may have been fulfilled again. "I'm seeing an Asian country. [Human beings live there]. I'm seeing tragedy involving an airliner, pray to God so that this disaster may be averted." |
kdfemi:May God bless you and keep you. Away from me. |
benalvino1:They say ignorance is bliss and I agree. Good luck to you in life my brother. You're OK with me. |
benalvino1:Really? We should offer you a Rhodes Scholarship. |
michaelwestern:Easy. You believe that the God is real. I'm only interested in discussing the matter now, using words, before the thing gets violent later. Boko Haram never got the chance to share their ideas, or listen to ideas, in an anonymous forum of this nature. The interaction may have saved the lives of women and lots of young children. There will be another Muslim and Christian war, unless this God issue is addressed, believe me. How long do you think Allah and Yahweh can cohabit together peacefully without some kind of major concession from both sides? |
italo:Are you saying that God doesn't exist? |
Bleep Yahweh, Jesus, and their brother in crime, Allah. They all have blood on their hands and should be brought in front of an imaginary court. |
benalvino1:No. Atheists believe that personal Gods are imaginary and do not exist. That's what makes someone an atheist. Seeking to understand the origin of the universe is a personal quest, uncoupled from the belief in personal, book publishing Gods. |
sapientia:A human female getting impregnated without human semen being involved is the most ridiculous story I've ever heard. And the fact that the baby who didn't come from a human, turned out to be human, it's even more ridiculous. Can a goat impregnate a chicken and have goat babies? |
Totfulguy:Seconded. Thank you for taking the time to write this. |
Femmymata2:This is what the Bible says in Acts 1: 16 and said, “Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus. 17 He was one of our number and shared in our ministry.” 18 (With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. 19 Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.) This is what it says in Matthew 27: 3 When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” “What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.” 5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. 6 The chief priests picked up the coins and said, “It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money.” 7 So they decided to use the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for foreigners. 8 That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day. So who purchased the muthafkn Field of Blood? |
damosky12:I don't believe it. |
Rednation07:It's in kobos. The girl is probably an aspiring model, and not a very good one at that. That guy is a delivery man for Pizza Hut. He models on the side for extra cash. |
Equado:Some atheists decided one day to say that they were divine human beings. Or that God gave them a book. Mormonism, Scientology, and The Nation of Islam were all founded that way. Sometimes, trying to convince people that the book is not a special book can be a futile endeavor. That's how we end up with the prophets. They are in all likelihood atheists themselves, especially the miracle working ones. Any pastor claiming to perform miracles in the name of God is an atheist in disguise. |
Allah is the giver of life and life is his personal property. He has authority over that which he owns, including your very person. Does that answer your question? |
hifaif:Can't beat them, join them. That's how the Nation of Islam was founded. A black guy woke up one day and said f>uck it. These guys are this dumb, I might as well say that I, myself, am God. Mormonism and Scientology began that way too. Atheists gave up on humanity and decided to fight madness with madness. |
truthman2012:It is the will of Allah. Allah doesn't have a son who can cancel his order. Maybe he will have to impregnate a human from the Caucasian race in the future and use the offspring as a means of canceling the words in the Quran, but that hasn't happened yet. Now, you're asking yourself why would Allah do such a thing, why would he demand the death of apostates or non Muslims who don't pay Jizya? Well, I don't know. Allah ways cannot be questioned by mere human beings. Remember Jesus, as the father, ordered EXACTLY the same thing, and even WORSE in the very BIBLE. But Jesus, the father, was able to send Jesus the son, to cancel out the old order by means of a human blood sacrifice. Allah doesn't have biological children or bipolar personalities to offer as a blood sacrifice to himself. Does that answer your question? |
truthman2012:Listen, you're welcome to take solace in this schizophrenic nonsense where Jesus the father can order the deaths of human beings, only for Jesus the son to show up later, disguised as a white man, and cancel his own order. I like people to take responsibility for their actions, without pretending to be bipolar, or tri-polar, but to each his own. Do you know that the Nation of Islam was founded by a black man who claimed that he himself was God? I sh)it you not. That guy must have been one of the smartest black men to ever walk the face of the earth. He at least tried to wrestle the African consciousness away from the foreign deities. But he did it by doing EXACTLY what the white people and Arabs did with the Jesus and Mohammed stories. He gave them a taste of their own medicine, so to speak. Sometimes it's better to fight silliness with even greater silliness. There's no point in telling people that the book is a regular book. Prompted by the natural fear of our inevitable demise, the conditioning is too deep seated and entrenched for mere words to make an impact. That is why we find history to be replete with great men who finally threw their hands in the air and said, "f)uck it, I'm God, or I found a new book." In the 1800's, the Mormon guy, for example, said God gave him the recorded history of a special American people written down on shiny plates. The Nation of Islam guy said he was God himself. In the 50's, the 1950's, the Scientology guy said that he was God too and will be back in a freaking rocket ship. What are you telling me? |
