WebmastersRe: Can I Make 50k A Month From Information Marketing If I Invest 10k? by webincomeplus(m): 2:14pm On Oct 01, 2017
Your statement that Facebook ads no longer convert like before is false. The reality is that Nigerians have become smarter. People have had enough of shitty ebooks that contain useless information. So, genuine ebooks are ignored these days.

To really make it as an information marketer, you need to start by creating a platform for establishing your expertise and authority on your chosen topic. After you've built a loyal audience, you'll sell consistently.

But to throw ads on Facebook and expect sales is a bad move these days.

WebmastersRe: How Can I Pay For International Webhosting Service In Nigeria by webincomeplus(m): 11:00am On Sep 29, 2017

please can some help me out, actually i'm a new blogger, i use free blogging service. I'm intending to upgrade to premium plan and i have read a lot of negative reviews about Nigeria web hosting companies. I want to get an international web hosting service like Bluehost, Godaddy but i don't have the means of payment.
If your bank allows international transactions on their local cards, then your ATM card will work. I'm sure of GTB and Access ATM cards. If you've been using PayPal, you can pay with that also.
WebmastersRe: Why Is My Traffic Droping by webincomeplus(m): 7:11am On Sep 29, 2017
Here are some probable causes:

The site got hit by a Google update.

The site got toppled by competitors who recently upped their game.

The blog has been banking on short-form, low-quality content.

The blog hasn't been updated in a while.

The owner engaged in black-hat SEO practices that backfired.

The blog's niche has lost all its buzz.

User experience on the blog has worsened.

And so on.

I can write pages on each of the items listed, so let's just keep things short.

But most importantly, your friend needs to give us more details such as niche, average content length, date he first noticed the decline in traffic, his content sources, and any "tactics" he tried around the time his traffic started plummeting.

Nice thread,
Pls I have the national id card but slip for now. Can I use it to open gtb dom account. Also, regarding the referees, is it only their account details I need?

Thanks.
The bank won't accept the slip. As for the refrees, you will be given two referral forms at the bank, one for each of them to fill.

Well, I can't disclose my blog URLs here. But I have blogs across various niches general topics, fashion, and affiliate sites centered on some fast-selling products in the US.

Yes, I run blogs owned by me. I really don't know what you mean by "personal blogs". I have two blogs that are monetized through Google Adsense and three mometized through Amazon affiliates. I have about 4 upcoming in my "incubator", though.

There's nothing secretive about blogging. The key to success is to start the right way. If you make mistakes from the start, then you've lost out!

It's not about an account officer but the bank's policy! Zero account opening balance and zero minimum balance.
Well, maybe things just changed. As at December 2016, when I opened my domiciliary account with GTB, I was asked to pay $100, which I withdrew later.

Yes. And as someone just added, you can speak with the account officer to allow you open the account without the initial deposit. You may be lucky to have your request granted.

Simply ask anyone around you where you can exchange dollars. I'm sure you'll be directed to them.

OK then. That's nice. But not all account officers will accept. It's smarter to try first, though.

Means bureau-de-change operators. They don't necessarily have to be Hausas anyway. I used the word mallams because the business is dominated by Hausas.

No, they won't accept that. You have to buy $100 from those mallams. You can only deposit in dollars.

Try first bank Dom acct. Still the best so far
They've been acting stupid lately. In the past three months, it's been taking them about 3 days to credit my account after Adsense pays. This month, they held my funds for 4 business days.

My other Adsense pays into my GTB domiciliary account, and it has never gone past 1 business day before GTB credits my account.

My experience with Access wasn't cool, too. You have to call those ones on phone before they credit your account. The same applies to First bank at times. But I've never had to call GTB before they do the needful.

froshb2k:
So bro, your point is that a domicilliary account is better to receive adsense payments.
Yes. But to create one you'll need 2 refrees with current accounts of at least 6 months old (preferably same bank), a valid ID (int'l passport, driver's license, or national ID), and $100 initial deposit (for GTB). You can withdraw the initial deposit later, though.

, last time it was 143$ and was around 43k i even calculated it online, no deductions or shiit. once you choose wire transfer on adsense as means of payment, and you put a savings bank acct, they'll wire you the money and bank would change it to naira to enter your bank account
Getting N43,000 for $143 means the bank exchanged for you at N300/$. That's what banks do if you use your local savings account (they change at the official exchange rate which is around N305/$).

But if you were to use a domiciliary account, you'd have been able to withdraw your dollars in cash. And you'd have gotten N51,000 instead (based on black market rate of N360/$).

For those earning few hundreds of dollars from Adsense, you might be fine with losing about N60 from every Naira, but by the time you start earning over a thousand dollars (like I do), it won't make sense to you again. And that's because if you have $1,000 for example, a local account will get you N305,000 or slightly less, but a domiciliary account will ultimately get you N360,000. N55,000 is a huge difference!

Huh??
But bro, if you use a dorm acct, you'll be paid exactly the rate of the dollar?
With a domiciliary account, you'll be given dollars in cash. And you can exchange that for Naira at current black market rates.

Who is the dumb writer of this article? The name "9mobile" was given simply because the company was taken over by 9 banks, not because it has to do with Nigeria. Yet, the writer not only cooked up a shitty addition to the name (Naija mobile), but also tried hard to force his own ignorance down our throats by repeating it persistently within the article.

It beats my imagination how some Nigerians quickly "dive" into conclusion. So, because it's "9", it has to be "Naija". If not that it's common knowledge that MTN is a South African company, dumbasses like the writer of this crap would have said the "N" in MTN stands for Nigeria.
