@Webizone. I respect your decision to pursue your dreams of marriage despite society's reservation. I, myself, got married at 25 and it failed. That is not to say that if you did it'd fail, just saying that a failed marriage is a respecter of neither age nor finances. We are the captain of our destinies, not statistics , not society and certainly not money.
Thanks fresh_dude, am learning now. You might, if you feel like it, tell me what went wrong. Teach me, good sir.

'Lol' by Acidosis. Anyone who wants to keep laughing, please be my guest. Am serious. If this changes the world (the skeptic side) let it change. If possible, front page please?
Peeps, two things further inspired me.
Today, I went on a condolence visit to the home of one my students. His sister died of abortion. She felt she had nothing to do (poor background, father dead), and she aint married. What else? Fornication(wrong person). Rest is history.

Number two, where I serve, there is this good woman, ok young woman because she could be 31 and I said good because as a testimony she saved me from trouble when I had a bad business deal with a local. You know what? She's single and seriously in search. She's a woman of faith and tends to mellow down her frustration. But, I understand on an empathic level what she might feel.

cumudie: Baby ar u seeking attention? If no? Gurls plenty...any way my husbnd must b hairy ooo.all ova sooo help me God..*winks*
Attention? Too easy. I could get more if I so wanted. There are many cheap ways to do that e.g poo in the street, shouting concert, create a thread saying 'f**k u seun!',etc. No baby, I don't need the crowd. I desire sth more... innate. I think that's the word.

jnr prof: OP, nuttin do you joor! Carry go. I'have secondary school mates who are guys that got married between ages 24 and 27. I'll be 27 this year and also wish to get married this year. Contrary to what many think, marriage is not about physical acquisitions (cars, money etc). As long as you have something worthwhile doing and you are willing to make a lot of sacrifices and delay gratification, you'll do well. I've heard a number of men say that they had nothing when they got married yet have so much now and really can't explain how. Marriage is a blessing, step into it with faith!
Thank you guy. I know we reason on the same level. I think some guys our age-range begin to contemplate marriage but then the devil-decieved world tend to scare us. I think most cold feet are caused by society. You know what, just like the devil got to Eve, it has gotten to our girls too. I tell ya, when our girls shun their distractions (materialism) and support us fighting, things will change!

Aha?! Well, I tell you most solemnly (thank you Jesus for this phrase), everything that could make a man happy in its purest natural form God has made it possible to be found in the woman and for everything that could make a woman happy in its purest natural form God has made it possible to be found in the man. I tell ya, if na only recharge card and money I for dey born with a recharge card vomitting and money sh*ting system.

If it turns out that I don't make money on time (though I have real prospects) does it mean that I couldn't ask to love and be loved in return? What then? If I make it, then all I have left are fake marriages to choose from?

Black Peni5: GuY! go look for money and stop all this love talk...Can you buy an iPhone for her plus weekly recharge card? why she no go snub u?
Maybe I could, maybe I couldn't but I just said the truth. If I couldn't and she leaves me even when I need her then she is not for me.

And I had my reasons, too. Somehow, I just couldn't express all I knew. I surfed online and came accross this article:
freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2964912/posts

Everything I wanted to say but couldn't is there. Well, I felt inspired to do one more thing; to move it to a forum. And yes, I believe there is a girl who might feel this way and may want to find a guy like me. So, am going to tell ya how to contact me in the next thread.
Romance › Re: Why Marry Early? I Would! by webizone(op): 1:32pm On Jan 30, 2013
It was either I enjoy it and achieve with love and passion or I sell my soul into conquering the world. I chose to rather channel what I feel into building a home. Unfortunately, even girls I met and told them my truest feelings tend to snob me. I have never felt so right yet so wrong.
Romance › Why Marry Early? I Would! by webizone(op): 1:26pm On Jan 30, 2013
I am gonna be 26 this year, male and (shocked?) would really want to get married. Why is it shocking to most people when I say this? Things like 'enjoy ur life first', 'continue school till PhD''Get job or make money first''build house and buy car first' usually come up. I am gonna say it, even though I could do all those, I couldn't when my passion is naught. I found that I needed the joy of companionship.

chucky234: Its either you have eye problem or you watched the match on a 13 inch black and white TV.

Efe Ambrose was outstanding today and by far the best performer of the evening.

Kenneth Omeruo and Oboabona were excellent at the back providing a rock solid shield for Enyeama.

Moses was magical, his decision to round the keeper for the second penalty was worldclass.

Emenike had a decent game,he was isolated upfront as the midfielders failed to provide him with the goodies.

Mikel and Ike Uche was useless all evening while Echejile was nothing but running van.
Ahmed Musa nko? Anyways, it's all about the win. Even with the weakest players, if they are intelligent or wise, they'll win.

All in all, I love Nigeria's defence (local boys). Yes, I love the accurate premiership style longballs of Mikel Obi. What we need is to get complete predatory sharpness from our wingers (bundesliga) and sweet combinatory moves from our attacking midfielder and strikers (la liga)

Ya know the feeling when u want to love and be loved back so much. U try n try, no cheating, no bad game, just plain truth. While it neva works out, u may tend to get desperate, still, nothing. U know, love becomes tasteless. I don't wanna date a prostitute nor marry a child, but if u ask why many men do these, u now know why.

I have read your blog and I must say it was a nice article you got there. What if I said I love watching tv, surfing the net, playing video games and reading?
Plus, I strive for perfection in those areas.
Is there an illustrious career for me based on these?
Business › Help! I Need Your Career Advice. by webizone(op): 7:00am On Dec 15, 2012
I am an Electronics/Computer Engineering
graduate currently doing my NYSC in Benue
State, and I have a problem.
It goes like this.
While in school, I have always wanted to do
something extra. To stand out. I wanted to
impact my world. To create rather than
shuffle at the short end of the stick.
When I did my IT(Industrial Training)at KRPC,
I met someone who introduced me to an
educational company that trains one on GSM
radio frequency technology. I came out flying
ahead of my course mates, especially when
we took our options and I consolidated when
I chose the communications option.
Well, I felt cheated because I haven't got a job
since then(If you know how the GSM RF job
works, sometimes you travel to do
installation and optimization jobs)and paying
for the course was expensive.
Now, I decided that I would follow a new
path. A path that would lead to unlimited
possibilities and greater potential for growth. I
needed to create a successful business. If at
least to be fulfilled and rather create jobs. But,
I have an idea block at the moment just like a
writer's block would be experienced.
I will give you an example or a hint of what I
mean.
I have a friend who studied microbiology
who saw potential in biotechnology, of which
you all know has ties to pharmacy, oil,
brewing, etc. which are all very lucrative
markets that does not fade like technology
does (for instance a successful beer formula
may last for a century but the tablet might
become obsolete next week) and when she
finished her studies she might like to create a
product even if she has a job. But she tells
me that creating that product, which entails
having a company would rather be
expensive, so she told me she might then
partner with a big firm, patent her genetically
modified drug and practically have a large
market (just like a massive importation
business but even better with exportation
attached).
Now my questions are these:
Can I do the same with my background type?
What masters courses have lasting business
potential or business of the future lasting
potential?
In short, what am asking is this, from my
background, can anyone see a coming huge
trend especially a lasting one?
This I ask because am confused if I am to
consider doing my masters or not. The
location of the campus does not matter. The
course might not be offered in Nigeria. huh

fellis: I never imagined that anything better than the internet would be invented.
I was actually wondering whether there could be some sort of improvement in the way data is stored in the present age, the use of flash drives and hard drives, CD ROMs etc has lasted too long and those things are able to store only a rather small amount of data when you take their sizes into consideration. I thought maybe a very tiny version of a hard drive would be invented; something with the size of maybe a memory card and the storage space of a typical HD.
Storing info online doesn't seem like a bad idea provided one is guaranteed they would be able to retrieve this info when it is needed.

I don't like the name 'GRID' though. Couldn't they have thought up something fancier?
Actually you thought along the same lines I did, but I don't think all my data would be online. The most important ones I would still have with me in my hard drive. I might as well duplicate it online but I shd have a solid security and hacking knowledge as backup.
