In that case, NLers, kindly recommend a trusted Volvo mechanic whose technical competence is not in doubt. Your recommendations will be highly appreciated. |
Thanks trac for the advice. I decided to change the engine because the current one is old and also I doubt the technical competence of our mechanics here in Ilorin. If I were to be in Lagos, or if I can manage the car to Lagos and you can recommend a good Volvo guy, then I can yield to your advice. |

One of my sisters drive a ford focus. Normal solid american car. Recently A.C had problems and she replaced d compressor with 15K. Normal things generally. |
Nice work, guys. Kindly differenciate between can't start and won't start. They use d terms a lot on the site. |

Islam has always been beautiful. |
I pray it is so. I will be so glad and GEJ would have done one good thing in this country. denko: This is what some northerner dont want to hear and see, in order NOT to expose their inefficiencIES of the past, hence the creation of BOKO HARAM they will be put to shame at the end. NIGERIA MUST WORK.The next problem for us to tackle will be people like denko who will always reduce every national issue to ethnic/tribal sentiments. And believe me, they are as bad as power outage. |
I also don't see any contradiction in what he is saying. He said if he gets to the church, he won't know what to sing or what to do, and he sent a high powered delegation. Personally, I don't see anything wrong in that. |
lahips: Dangote's price is really affecting our price, especially onitsha and enugu market (unicem cement) we are basically in d south south and south east region and to think my boss is not looking well at the market analysis coming in from the sales men in the market, instead of reducing the price he gave a conditional rebate, well i prayyyyy the price gets reduced,as it will do everyone good.especially this raining season when cement demand is always low.how much is dangote, elephant and unicem in your state? |
realmscape: ARE U A BRICKLAYER@realmscape: I am not a brick layer but working on a commercial apartment that I am building. I use roughly 25 bags of cement every two days on the project for the past four weeks. So I understand to a large extent how cement moves at least in my state. On a lighter note, that ur question funny sha o! ![]() |
I don't think dangote really wants to reduce the prices because of his concern for nigerians, but because he has realised that his sales are dropping sharply. An average informed nigerian will never buy dangote cement if elephant cement is available. In the SS too, I think they say Ibeto cement is preferred to dangote (though not sure). Currently, both Dangote and Elephant cements are being sold for N1,850 per bag (in fact elephant is 51kg while dangote is 50kg), and you can see people buy upto 20 bags of elephant before anyone buys dangote. The sellers are now even forcing it on people. I asked someone to supply me 25 bags last week and he brought dangote (because he hasn't sold it in a long time), I bore the pain and money to return them and take elephant cement. |
A question was asked: what title docuents do you have on these lands? Or do you want people to come just because you are who you are? Especially givent the fact that your prices are ridiculously low! |
