When you remember cases like the Siemens bribery scandal, the missing N20billion oil money and the N10billion chartered jet scandal involving the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke and many others , you will know that the President had done nothing to convince Nigerians that he was committed to the fight against corruption. |
I have said it over and over that Jonathan cannot fight corruption. Not that he is corrupt but he condones corruption. So far, every Nigerian knows that corruption is the greatest evil slowing down the growth of this country. Corruption is the greatest malaise that is reducing Nigeria’s image. That is why we need someone with the willpower and capacity to honestly fight corruption. My love and support for General Muhammadu Buhari stemmed from my conviction that he can effectively fight corruption. The fear of Buhari is the beginning of wisdom for any corrupt politician. That is why they don’t want him to be president. Prof Tam David-West |
@ OP, common stealing, you are calling corruption. About six months ago, innocent job seekers were asked to pay certain amount of money for Immigration job. At the end, about 16 lives were lost. Till date, no refund has been made to the applicants, no indictments and the minister is still occupying office. What message does that send? |

Dangerous people |
Nigeria is just one hell of a jungle. The other day I saw your President on National TV launching N6B fund for victims of terror attack. He called it Victim Support Fund I ask myself, why not devote such monies to fight the terrorists? What you will have later is an increase in victims who want to claim money from the fund. And your corrupt officials will do everything to keep the insurgency alive to embezzles "victim Support Fund". Wake Up Nigerians. |
For Nigerian security officials, any rough guy with some wires in an intending suicide bomber. |

Okay, will you also reject the one month pay in lieu of termination? Will you also force the government to pay subsequent salaries? Anyway I pray, this issue is resolved amicable because at the end of the day, it is the masses that will be at the receiving end . |
