Truth is it can be the man or the woman. A woman can talk her man into & making him beat her up. A man can also be violent naturally usually because he saw his parents fight a lot while growing up.

Relationships are case by case and there are no general rules. You just live in it and adjust appropriately.

Ibos need to be wise and not myopic like Nnamdi Kanu is portraying himself.

Ibos have only 5 states in Nigeria (Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo). Importantly ALL are landlocked with only Anamra having limited access to River Niger. If Ibos go, they will go with ONLY these states as ALL the other ethnic groups within the region have openly declared they will not be part of the proposed Biafra.

Hence if they want Biafra, they will lose ALL and will be EXTREMELY dependent on Nigeria for their survival

My dear ibo friends. Think well like the very intelligent people you are and with a clear conscience rather than with the anger and hatred of the memories of an unfortunate civil war!

Politics / Re: Proposed N5 Petrol Levy A Huge Joke – NUPENG by Werehkpe: 8:45am On Jun 04, 2017
The bill recommends that Nigerians should pay N5 levy on every litre of imported petroleum products and that levy will form part of the proposed national roads fund.

FACT: Senators are not in tune with the sufferings of Nigerians.
STUPIDITY: How can u tax Nigerians for imported refined Products? Are we the ones responsible for the refineries not working? Are we the ones that told them not to get the refineries working? If they need money to maintain roads and theres is no money, they should slash their salaries and use it to maintain the roads.

Religion / Re: The Catholic Faith: What You Need To Know by Werehkpe: 10:15am On May 21, 2017
Splinz:

I see. All these talk of insults is nothing but an emotional blackmail. Sorry, it doesn't work on me.

Op has no biblical backing for his rank idolatry, but the same old terrible twisting of scriptures to say what they want it to say. I asked a question which you may as well help him answer: Did Abraham asked Noah to intercede or was it Jesus that prayed for an intercession from one of His angels?

Op's submission in his bid to justify the worship (all that talk of "honoring" is a grand deception!) of Mary is simply humorous.

We need to stop abusing others who do not share our views. If you dont agree with Op's views, then just say so and support your view with Scriptural backing.

What I know is there is a reason why Catholics when praying say "Mary INTERCEDE for us" and "God have MERCY on us" From these two its quite evident who is being worshiped as a Supreme God and who is being respected.

Again we need to understand that the prayer said to d Virgin Mary is TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE BIBLE.

Lastly, I dont see y all these argument exists. Protestants pray directly to Jesus and He answers them. Catholics pray THROUGH MARY to Jesus and HE also answers them. So what is all the trouble about

Family / Re: Married Last Week, Already Set For Divorce. Help A Nairalander Make A Decision by Werehkpe: 3:21pm On Apr 26, 2017
Fifthcolumnist:
If your story is complete and true then your wife is entirely to blame. Although, I think fuming at her to save face was unnecessary and poorly managed. You know women are proud beings and hate being attacked even when they are wrong.

But, you can't risk loosing your marriage for the sake of pride and "saving face". Infact, if your marriage breaks down after just one week together, you'll have no face at all how much more one to save. You have to loosen up, swallow your high standards, and play the fool for the sake of your marriage before things get out of hand. Apologise to her and her family telling them, the stress of the whole event got to you and you're sorry you managed the situation poorly. Do this in the interest of peace and forget about rightness or wrong. After all, it's your marriage to keep, not theirs' or anyone else's.

Its not about who is to blame here. its about saving a young marriage.

I dont think apologising to her family is the solution. Once you do this. U are likely to encounter similar situation in future. So fight the battle well from the beginning. U can apologize to her alone and not her family. Once she returns home. U guys should have a long friendly chat. Its both of you that will build your family and not her family and you. For all u know it might be her family making her act the way she did and so apologising to them is giving them the upper hand.
Family / Re: Married Last Week, Already Set For Divorce. Help A Nairalander Make A Decision by Werehkpe: 3:16pm On Apr 26, 2017
This is a serious matter o.

I suggest u stay clear of her and her family. When reality dawns on her she will come back humble to beg you knowing she has learnt a lesson.
I also dont think you should start any divorce process. Marriages all have bumps here and there. By the power vested in you by God you are the head of the family and ONLY you have the responsibility to the final decision you want to direct your family to. Not her family as long as you have fulfilled all requirements o.

Again, marriage is about compromising. It seems your wife is hot tempered. You should be slow to anger but strong in any decision you take.

I pray God gives you d direction and you make d right choice here. Blessing be upon you and your household.

Politics / Re: List Of Roads To Be Constructed In 2017 Budget by Werehkpe: 9:02pm On Mar 31, 2017
Incase you all did not notice, 66.7% the roads on "PRIORITY ONE" are in the southern part of Nigeria. 22.2% in d middle belt and only 11.1% in the northern part

50% the roads on "PRIORITY TWO" are in the southern part of Nigeria. 12.5% in d middle belt and only 37.5% in the northern part

60% the roads on "PRIORITY THREE" are in the southern part of Nigeria. 20% in d middle belt and only 20% in the northern part

66.7% the roads on "PRIORITY FOUR" are in the southern part of Nigeria. 16.6% in d middle belt and only 16.6% in the northern part

OVERALL

60.85% of road constructions will be in the southern parts of Nigeria

17.85% of road constructions will be in the middle belt areas of Nigeria

21.30% of road constructions will be in the northern parts of Nigeria

CONCLUSION
Contrary to opinion, this administration is not focused on developing the road network in the northern parts of Nigeria but rather it is concerned about developing road networks where it is needed most. Also there is a clear indication that the government is truly concerned about overall development of the entire country and has targetted thes roads to enhance oil, agriculture as well as industries. Trully this is the way to go

Crime / Re: Number Of Un-sentenced Detainees And Overall Prison Population By State And Year by Werehkpe: 11:45am On Mar 28, 2017
[img][/img]

The guys that calculated all this must be VERY useless at maths

1. North Central for example.
Total unsentenced = 4798
Total prison population = 7721
%of unsentenced of prison population = 439.17%

How can this b? The %of unsentenced of prison population should be 62% (4798 divided by 7721 multiplied by 100% or 439.17 divided by 6. 6 being the number of states in North Central zone). The olodo who calculated this just added ALL the percentages of % of unsentenced prison population for all the states.

Thats how bad our educational system is right now. Too many unqualified people in government agencies and companies. Na who sabi who. Nepotism. Silly country.

Some of you guys don't understand the Topic, for those saying Catholic I think you are wrong. Catholic Church is most spread church in Nigeria you can find them in all the 774 local govt of Nigeria but that doesn't make them have the highest number of branches.

RCCG on the other hand can be spread across say 600 local govt in Nigeria but those 600 local govt have nothing less than 100 per local govt do the maths that makes about 60,000 RCCG but Catholic will probably have say 10 per local govt also do the maths that's just 7740 Catholic Churches.

I think with my submission we can give the award to RCCG

The winners headquarters in warri will need to be partitioned into three to bring it down to the size of warri cathedral of the Catholic Church at Okere junction.

These churches are not making noise , they are real and advancing.....for a church to have giants screens of the score board size in stadium place inside tells you the size and yet still have overflows

I know a pastor that returned from mission work from one of the attacked remote villages of Borno after an attacks that destroyed the entire town

If you are talking about headquarters, The right comparison will be comparing Winners Chapel HQ in Warri to St Peter's Basilica in Rome. The Basilica took 100 years i.e a century. Thats just to tell you how enormous and massive it is. So dont even go down this route.

FACTS ON ST PETERS BASILICA
Groundbreaking 18 April 1506
Completed 18 November 1626

Length 730 feet (220 m)
Width 500 feet (150 m)
Height 448.1 feet (136.6 m)[1]
Nave height 151.5 feet (46.2 m)
Dome diameter (outer) 137.7 feet (42.0 m)
Dome diameter (inner)

By the way it has loads of underground chambers and churches. Also its RUMOURED thats where the "remains of Peter" was found in the Cistine Chapel. It also has the most priceless and stunning artworks ever made including sculptures and paintings from Michaelangelo.

FORGET BROTHER. ITS CATHOLIC ALL D WAY o
