At times girls are confused by 3 main things
1. She is young and thinks the world of herself. by which is expecting prince charming to come carry her away on horseback
2. She loves u too but is in another serious relationship
3. She is not ready for a serious relationship OR is scared of commitments.

If its any of the first 2, den just let her go na she go begin pursue u late

If its d third, then its your job to woo her. and make her belief u and break down her walls

IGNORANCE is bountiful on Nairaland o

Imagine people asking why are their mouths open
Why are they stiff
They are crocodiles
Why are their tongues white?

FIRST:
* These are alligators! Crocodiles have longer snouts and grow longer and bigger

*Alligators stay stiff as a means of deceit! When u think they are dead and motionless, they strike the unexpected in amazing speed

*All crocodiles and aligators have pale mouth cavity. Mainly becus they dont chew but they swallow they prey either in wholes or in bits.

*lastly their mouths are open most times in which cases they allow birds to fly in and pick the bits of meat off their teeth. they are made that way.

Sports / Al-ahly Lose To Corinthians In FIFA Club World Cup by Werehkpe: 7:51pm On Dec 12, 2012
South American champions Corinthians clinched their place in the Club World Cup final with a 1-0 win over African champions Al Ahly in Japan.

Peru forward Paolo Guerrero met Douglas’s exquisite left-wing cross with a firm downward header to net the 30th-minute winner.

The closest Al Ahly came to equalising were long shots from Ramy Rabia and Walid Soliman after half-time.

The Brazilian club will play either Chelsea or Monterrey in Sunday’s final.

Corinthians, who won the inaugural event in this incarnation of the competition in 2000, dominated the first half against the African Champions League winners and perhaps should have gone into half-time with more than just ex-Bayern Munich striker Guerrero’s goal to show for their superiority.

Attacking midfielder Douglas’s delightful outside-of-the-boot cross picked out Guerrero, who planted his header into the bottom corner of the Al Ahly net.

The Egyptians, who booked their spot in the tournament by winning last month’s African Champions League final, struggled to impose themselves on the contest in a timid first-half display.

Midfielder Mohamed Aboutreika was introduced as a second-half substitute and the veteran Egypt international immediately took control, opening up the Corinthians defence with an incisive pass that Ahmed Fathy prodded wide.

Either side of that chance, Rabia shot wide and Soliman sent a dipping effort over the Corinthians crossbar.

Al Ahly continued to probe without fully stretching Corinthians goalkeeper Cassio and the Brazilians held out, to the delight of their 20,000 travelling fans inside the Toyota Stadium.

European champions Chelsea make their competition debut on Thursday against Mexican side Monterrey in the other semi-final.

The Concacaf champions set up the tie against the Blues in Yokohama with a 3-1 victory against South Korean club Ulsan Hyundai.

Norway-based star Fegor Ogude will on Sunday join 23 players from the NPL in Abuja ahead of next year’s AFCON in South Africa.

The versatile Ogude is back in Nigeria on holidays and will have to prove his fitness after staying away from the Eagles for several months mostly on account of injury.

Fresh call-ups are Femi Thomas of Enyimba, Kalu Orji from Heartland, Pius Samson from Ranch Bees as well as Moses Bunde from Lobi Stars.

The list of foreign-based pros is expected to be made public in the week leading to Christmas, as the team is expected to travel by 27 December for the final phase of its camping in Faro, Portugal.

Keshi has maintained that current form will be the main yardstick to be used to pick his final squad for the Nations Cup.

“What we want to get is a good mix of players who can help us do well at the Nations Cup, we want to win and I know we can, but like I will always say names don’t count in football anymore, if you are good enough, come and prove it and you will be ion the plane to the Nations Cup,” he said.

“Objectivity is the watchword for selection of players and I promise I will stick to it.”

Sports / Aluko Out For 3 Weeks by Werehkpe: 11:26pm On Dec 10, 2012
Nigeria forward Sone Aluko will be out of action for three weeks to end his troublesome Achilles problem according to his English club.

Aluko has missed the last two games and has now had an injection to help clear up the problem, with manager Steve Bruce hoping a period of complete rest will aid the recovery process for Hull City’s leading goal scorer.

“Sone trained on Thursday and unfortunately was sore on Friday,” said Bruce.

“He had an injection on Friday and we’re hoping that now he’s got five or six days off doing absolutely nothing, in two to three weeks it will have done the trick and we’ll see Sone back again.”

“We’ve played two games away from home without arguably our best player of the season and we’re hoping it’s not a bad one.

“The worry is that it’s the tendon, but the scan has revealed that there is no real damage. We’ve put an injection in to try and release it.”

Sports / Baribote Quits As Nigeria League Board Chief by Werehkpe: 11:10pm On Dec 10, 2012
Victor Baribote has been asked to step down as the chairman of the Nigeria Premier League to allow for a probe into allegations of fraud levelled against him.

congress of the Nigeria Premier League which was initially scheduled for Tuesday,December 11th,2012 has been called off.

In a communiqué signed by NPL board member Joe Amene, the NPL announced that a three-man committee headed by NFF board member Leye Adepoju has three weeks to investigate the crisis between the club chairmen and the NPL leadership.

Last week, the club bosses passed a vote of no confidence on the Baribote-led NPL board and have threatened to dissolve the board in Tuesday’s congress in Abuja after the NFF overturned their decision to sack the league body’s leadership.

Sports / Al-ahly Storms FIFA Club World Cup Semis by Werehkpe: 5:54pm On Dec 10, 2012
Egypt’s Al Ahly beat Japanese champions Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2-1 in blizzard-like conditions on Sunday to reach the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.

Ahly’s talismanic striker Mohamed Aboutrika came off the bench to drill home the winner 12 minutes into second half.

Al Ahly, wearing black armbands in memory of the 72 fans who died in the Port Said Stadium disaster in February, started at a frenetic pace and got their reward after only 15 minutes when Elsayed Hamdi scored from inside the box.

Hiroshima levelled 17 minutes later when top scorer in the J-League last season Hisato Sato fired a shot underneath goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy.

The Japanese champions spurned two opportunities before half-time and they paid the ultimate price after the break when Aboutrika punished them for a defensive slip-up to earn his side victory.

The only downside for Ahly was an injury for captain Hossam Ghaly, who was carried off clutching his knee.

Hiroshima also suffered an injury scare, goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa was taken off on a stretcher with blood stains on his jersey after catching a knee in the face in only the third minute.

“It was a very tough match,” said Ahly coach Hossam El Badry. “We tried to be aggressive at the beginning and we started the match very well.

“Hiroshima were very organised but we had done our homework and I think we deserved to win.”

African champions Ahly will face Brazil’s Corinthians, holders of the Libertadores Cup, in the tournament’s first semi-final on Wednesday.

Earlier on Sunday, Mexico’s Monterrey overpowered South Koreans Ulsan Hyundai 3-1 in the first quarter-final to set up a showdown with English Premier League side Chelsea.

Sports / Enyimba Blocks Want-away Super Eagles Ace by Werehkpe: 5:46pm On Dec 10, 2012
Enyimba will not release Eagles ace Henry Uche who said he does not wish to play for them again as they owe him over seven million Naira.

Eagles midfielder Uche has insisted he does not wish to return to the Aba club because his contract with them is over and they also owe him more than seven million Naira in unpaid signing-on fees over four seasons.

A top source close to the Eagles star informed Soccerroomtoday.com that Uche has already formally quit the six-time NPL champions, but top officials have insisted he return to train with the team for the new season.

“His contract with Enyimba has ended. What he agreed and negotiated with the club was a year’s contract and that has now ended. He is therefore willing to forfeit what the club owe him because he simply does not wish to play for them anymore. He is just fed up with their many unfulfilled promises,” a source informed.

Enyimba team manager Deboy Ekweronu has instead told Uche to return to the club because they wish to cash in on his transfer to another club.

“We have invested in you and exposed you and now you want to leave us when we want to get our return on you. You cannot fight Enyimba and so you better come back to the team,” Ekweronu warned the former Shooting Stars midfielder.

Enyimba have given several players like defender Kenneth Anyanwu a free clearance because they do not have the money to pay what they owe them.

Anyanwu is owed about 14 million Naira by the Aba club, but he has now been told he could move on as a free agent as they cannot pay him.

second, what records do you speak of with respect to peter? there is no firsthand historical or even biblical record that puts peter anywhere, at any point in rome!

near 45 a.d.(around the time your catholic wankers claim peter was in rome), we find peter being cast into prison in jerusalem (acts 12:3, 4). in 49 a.d., he was still in jerusalem, this time attending the jerusalem council. about 51 a.d., he was in antioch of syria where he got into differences with paul because he wouldn’t sit or eat with gentiles. strange that the "bishop of rome" would have nothing to do with Gentiles in 51 a.d.! later in about 66 a.d., we find him in the city of Babylon among the jews (I pet. 5:13). remember that peter was the apostle to the CIRCUMCISED. Why was he in babylon? because history shows that there were as many jews in the mesopotamian areas in christ’s time as there were in palestine. it is no wonder we find him in the east.

in all of paul's writings about his dealings in rome, at no point did he mention peter. now let's get something straight, i aint no advocate for neither of these wankers, but hombre, get your history together. there's a huge disparity between the roman catholic account of history and actual history itself.

1. I sed Peter's tomb is BELIEVED to be under the Basilica.

2. Check your records well and u will see that while Peter was the Catholic first Pope, Paul was d leader of the orthodox church. Am not 100% sure of the later.

3. The Shroud of Jesus is the same as the Shroud of Turin. U r right there. But contrary to what you insinuated, it is not a hoax. Present research on it are still ungoing. After a couple of initial test run on it, it was discovered that the piece of the shroud tested was actually a piece attached to patch a torn path of the Shroud.

I think you need to take sometime out and research on the Shroud and stop making definite statements when your facts are indeed watery.

Sports / Al-ahly Top CAF Champions League Draw by Werehkpe: 1:26pm On Dec 08, 2012
The three clubs who have dominated the CAF Champions League recently – Al Ahly of Egypt, Esperance of Tunisia and TP Mazembe of DR Congo – are among the entrants for the 2013 draw in Cairo on Sunday,December 9.

Title holders Ahly and Mazembe have raised the trophy twice each and Esperance once in the past five seasons of a competition that rewards winners with a $1.5 million cheque and a passport to the even more lucrative Fifa Club World Cup.

Other former champions in the draw include Zamalek of Egypt, Vita Club of DR Congo, Entente Setif of Algeria, Union Douala of Cameroon, Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Orlando Pirates of South Africa.

There are also five former winners of other CAF club titles – CA Bizertin of Tunisia, Enugu Rangers of Nigeria, FUS Rabat of Morocco, Al Merreikh of Sudan and Horoya of Guinea – among the contenders.

It has been a long wait for Bizertin as their only previous appearance was 28 years ago when the competition was called the African Champions Cup, offered no prize money and was staged on a knock-out basis from start to finish.

Now clubs go through a three-round home-and-away qualifying process, with the strongest clubs dodging the preliminary phase, a six-matchday mini-league competition, and two-leg semifinals and finals.

Ahly defied the odds to conquer Africa a record-stretching seventh time this year, playing six of seven home fixtures behind closed doors and the final with Esperance before a crowd limited to 30 000 because of security concerns.

The Cairo Red Devils also had to overcome the severe handicap of no domestic football with competitive games in Egypt suspended since last February after 74 fans died in Port Said rioting following a rare win for local side Al Masry over Ahly.

Esperance, winners once and runners-up twice in the past three finals, have compensated for the loss of Cameroonian striker Yannick Ndjeng by signing leading 2012 Champions League scorer Emmanuel Clottey from Ghana outfit Berekum Chelsea.

Clottey scored 12 goals, including two hat-tricks, as Berekum reached the mini-league phase. His tally was seven more than Izu Azuka from semifinalists Sunshine Stars of Nigeria, who is also on the shopping list of the Tunis club.

Mazembe, a mix of Congolese, Zambian, Ugandan and Tanzanian stars, were crowned African champions in 2009 and 2010, kicked out last year for using an ineligible player and made a limp semifinals exit this season.

But Mazembe, Ahly and Esperance will once again be the teams to beat in the Pan-African marathon with the first fixtures usually staged in February and the final in November.

Kotoko and Pirates have much to prove after disastrous showings in their last attempts to recapture former glory with the second of two titles won by the Kumasi club coming in 1983 and Pirates’ lone success achieved 17 years ago.

Unfashionable Senegalese outfit ASC Linguere dumped Asante in the 2010 preliminary round and Pirates suffered a humiliating home loss to Angolans Recreativo Libolo this year en route to an equally early exit.

Apart from the preliminary, first and second round draws for the Champions League and the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup, the group draws for the 2013 CAF youth and junior championship tournaments will also be made.

Sports / Nigerian FA Banks On Local Stars For 2013 AFCON by Werehkpe: 11:28pm On Dec 07, 2012
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has passed a vote of confidence on domestically-based players of the national team with a declaration that they are good enough to make the cut for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) has been on hiatus following the conclusion of the 2011/2012 season leading to concerns from some quarters that local talent may struggle for fitness as national team head coach, Stephen Keshi opens his Afcon preparatory camp on December 17.

Spokesman of the NFF, Ademola Olajire has now allayed such fears insisting that the home-based stars will be as fit as their foreign-based counterparts when the camp opens.

“The camp of the home-based professionals will open on the December 17. The home boys have done a lot of work so far under Stephen Keshi. He has confidence in them as exemplified by the number included in the squad for the last international friendly against Venezuela and they did well,” Olajire told Soccerroomtoday.com.

Olajire also stated that the failure of the 2012/13 season to kick-off as scheduled will not be detrimental to the performance of the players.

“The fact they have not been playing won’t really affect them. When they come to camp on the 17th, the head coach will be able to look at them. We believe they will not be that bad. There are some (NPL) clubs involved in pre-season knockabouts here and there. So I don’t want to believe that the players are totally idle,” he said.

Nigeria are in Group C at the 2013 Afcon alongside Ethiopia, Burkina Faso and champions, Zambia.

The Super Eagles get their campaign underway on January 21 at the Mbombela Stadium, Nespruit against Burkina Faso’s Stallions.
