Ordinary Minister ke? No way, thats way too low a position for someone with his intellect. Not even becoming the governor of his homestate (Delta) is even worth considering. Its either President or political oblivion. |
^^^ ![]() Reality check huh? |
^^^ 4give me bros, but r u an Arsenal fan? Kinda sounds like transferred agression 2 me. Perharps there's some history I'm unaware of. Anyway was just passing. |
^^^ What u see in Buhari isnt spine but Pride. The exact type that everyone that think themselves better than all others has, the exact type that makes him think Ngrns r animals that should be whipped into conformity, the exact type that will get Ngr nowhere. |
^^^ lol still whining as always i see. R u ever going to grow up and get the full picture? We all think Utomi wld make a great president but u're living in a foools paradise if u're taking his candidacy serious. |
^^^ lol. Always thot there should be some restriction on free speech! |
One thing that always got my attention in the Imo guber race has always been the number of reputable candidates that always line up whenever the governorship race is on. At one time the likes of Odimegwu of Nigrn Brewery, Ezenna of Orange Drugs, Agbaso, Ararume and a couple of other big names where vying for the seat- heard Rochas is going for it this time. Strangely though, the least known/qualified always seem to get the prize. Spare a thot for Delta though, whose most qualified citizen thinks its the presidency or nothing. |
The more I read interviews like this, the angrier I get at these crop of intellectuals that know all that is wrong with d country but have no clue as to how to effect the one word that they constantly shout themselves hoarse abt; Change. The truth is Ngrn intellectuals and perceived men of integrity like Utomi,Soyinka,Duke,Achebe etc have got too much Pride and ego to actually fulfill their purpose for their country. They spend all their time criticizing and pointing out flaws in the system without being able to proffer any real workable solution for the country or at the very least, provide a realistic alternative. If these people really arent just content to see their names in the front pages of newspapers, what stops them from coming together under one political umbrella of a definite ideology to give the country an alternative from its present dearth worthy political parties? Instead Soyinka has had enough and is withdrawing from public life, Achebe is junketing from symposium to symposium on every continent, Duke is sliding step by step into oblivion and Ribadu is so very busy wiping Tinubus backside, yet each neva fails to remind us how messed up the country is. Once upon a time it was common to hear our democracy referred to as "Nascent", 12yrs down the road and that word has been wiped off our vocabulary and everyone seems to expects a perfect system worthy of rivalling the best in the world. Yes we've got problems- very serious ones, but yes we're making progress allbeit slowly. Until these crop of individuals we all respect can get their acts together and form a reasonable front that we all can have faith in, we'll make do with what we've got be it PDP,CPC,AC etc and my generation is willing to see it mature into what we dream of but unlike the Prof and his fellow despairing intellectuals, We'lld know when to put aside our ego in the interest of the nation. Any talk of 'crashing democracy' at this stage is nothing but the cry of a thirsty man trapped in his own self created gulf. |
@Skyblue well said. Nice to see there is still a BB Supporter that didnt fall too many times on his head while he was a kid. @9jaman, Olodo, I dont expect u to get the point. If only u had worn some protective head gear as a kid it would have made perfect sense to you. |
^^^ All hail the smart BB Campaigner that aims to take over the houses of assembly by recalling each member one after the other. One word; Dumb. |
^^^ Are u really a Nigerian or is it that the BB brainwash has gotten so deep into u that u cant distinguish your dreams from reality? How many legislators have been recalled from the house of Assembly since 1999? How many attempts have we even had in 12yrs? Let me guess 2 or 3. Even those that spent more time in jails still manage to serve out their tenure and u sit there and talk abt recalling legislators? Seriously u should be laughing at yrself. This whole well thot out Deceptive Manifesto is just keeping in line with Buhari's Tale's of Deceit. Imagine talking about abolishing state of Origin bla bla bla while he keeps mute abt the one thing that has ensured square pegs from obscure regions in the North are continuously put in round holes; Federal Character. Open Your Brains People! |
Yeah right. Is the BB team going to feed us anything more than crap? |
^^^ Protest 4 where? On NL abi? Na ordinary civilians go kick your butts off the streets.Keep kidding yourself. |
Now that's how to play the game. Let them flap their tongues spewing unimaginable crap then relax and watch them slowly eat back their vomit like some hopeless ruminant animal. Shameless lot. |
First tell us why u "love" the man. |
Edited to please Loveking!!! Inappriopriate title IMO |
Very typical of the BB mob to be having a ball even when their only reason to party is some dumb report. oyb:@Olodo, so Clearing out Oshodi mkt to make it more attractive to the eyes while thousands of traders along with their dependents struggling to live on 1 dollar a day are thrown into the streets with no reasonable alternative, building mega ways in already affluent Lekki, planting trees and flowers along the road while dehumanizing slums with teeming and expanding populations are springing up daily in Ajegunle is your idea of development? One question 4 u, do u seriously consider yourself smart in any way? Gbawe:Obviously, u wont recognize change even if it gave u a deserved slap on your cheek. If your definition of “CHANGE” in this context is construction of “link roads” and eye catching changes on the streets then IBORI has been Nigeria’s best governor and Uduaghan his cousin closely follows! Why am I no longer surprised u’re allergic to fresh air? Birds of a feather. |
Gradually, the veil is being pulledand we r beginning to see just how ugly the bride really is. |
^^ Chaos in CPC? And I thot that was unique to the PDP. lol |
^^ No offense, but i know for a fact that you do not live better than my dogg. So if there's any victim here, i think its you. |
^^ Just cos you live in a developed country doesnt make u better off than every one in a third world country. |
well folks, here's my last word on this and I hope u guys take a second and think it over. You cant reason out Faith, it simply doesnt follow logic. The Bible says the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. U can either choose to live a mundane life or take it a notch higher but take it from me, God is real and so r miracles. I pray u lot get to have an encounter with him some day as I have. |
I'll leave d deep thinking to u. I'm not here to proffer solutions for the CPC, I couldnt care less how dey run their deception. My intent is to help out ignorant folks that seem to have bought the BB lies hook line and sinker by pointing out the obvious flaws in the horseshit being fed folks. The truth is the CPC is just anoda party like the PDP struggling to get it right but disadvantaged by age and ideas. So u see, My answer is logical 2 me and if its not 2 u, i'm sori I cant help u there. |
^^ Nothing. Just admit the CPC aint better than the PDP and both GEJ and Buhari are on same moral level. Stop the Delusio! |
He that comes to Equity must come with clean hands'. How did Abacha become so rich? What biz does he do? Gej is being pilloried for associating with IBB and Abacha jnr suddenly has been 'saintified' by Pope Buhari. What Hypocrisy is this? |
^^^ in other words the PDP should have ignored Bode George when he got out of prison. Yes? |
@eku bear, r u daft or u're just pretending 2 be? Is the CPC an all comers affair? A party that was midwifed by a self acclaimed Puritan ought 2 b able to set its standards and decide the calibre of ppl 2 have in its fold. Last i checked there were over 50 parties in the country and Abacha was free to join any yet he chose the CPC and was accepted with open arms - perharps the stolen Benjamins in Switzerland were too much to resist. Abacha is only popular in Kano becos of his philantropy, well who wouldnt be considering that his dad made Forbes top 10 by theft. Little wonder the Almajiris have taken to him! |
I gave a quote earlier that 'healing is the childrens bread' there's a whole lot more to serving God than miracles. To add to what Papa B said, there r highly educated ppl attending these churches and even folks so rich that some of u yapping here wld be unworthy 2 wipe their feet!. Dont 4get that his Ministry started from a university Campus and mostly appeals to the educated. Pastor Chris packs out the biggest halls in the biggest Cities regardless of continent. Last year, the 02 arena in London was packed out and people had 2 be turned back from the venue. Same in Canada, SA and the States. Just google Night of Bliss London, Canada and USA. |
@eku bear The point is a candidate that has been selling like crazee 2 ignorant folks by climbing a moral highground on every issue and prides himself on the anti corruption stance of himself and his party ought not to have a name synonymous with criminality in its fold esp when his voiceferous online Mob are castigating his opponent for the crimes of distant and sidelined party members. This isnt abt what the people of Kano think, its about Ngrns realizing the CPC is no association of Saints which is the erroneous reason naive folks r being enticed by the BB ticket. |
@9ija Man, What tail swinging / tree climbing specie did u mutate from? In the course of your mutation did u skip the age where u had to wait till u're invited b4 u jumping into a conversation? Why not take a cue from Bkbabe of the Baboon lineage? At least we know their downside is just the foul mouth, they respect hierarchy pretty well for folks that are still learning to interact with humans! |
^^^ Obviously another victim of Americas ever increasing Failed Parenting problem. Someone shoulda whipped your backside 2 Sunday School. |
And the BB Mob seem to have lost their voice. Once upon a time they were ubiquitous. |
