^^ Sounds more like a very apt description of BB's online Mob to me. You and I both know that without your aggressive and desperate online campaign of lies and misinformation Buhari would have been a dead and buried non issue by now. But credit to the Mob and their Overworkin Nl Moderators, you've succeeded in getting quite an impressive number of your fellow online dim wits to join your campaign.
I wish this was new but unfortunately, it isnt. It happened during IBB's campaign, same as during Atiku's and the end result certainly would be thesame so enjoy your days of Virtual success while they lasts.

@Playmode,
Could u pls tone down your name calling and focus more on trying to get your defective message across?
Could u also do us a favor and separate your dreams from reality? We all have our little dreams and wishes for our country also But we know when to fantasie and when to face reality. Pat Utomi no doubt is a good presidential material but do u know if he stands for the governorship of his homestate - Delta state- he'lld fail woefully? Not because he's incompetent but cos he'lld be a hard sell to a people not impressed by intellect but by immediate gratification be it a bag of salt or whatever. It just doesnt matter what he brings to the table, he stands no chance without a strong political base and a huge bank account. That my friend is the reality.
What i expected of a man as learned as he is was to start building structures, reach out across all sides of the Niger to men of integrity and some popularity. imagine the likes of Col Abubakar Umar, Wole Soyinka, Donald Duke etc in one party, they may not win immediately but there'lld be something to build on and a ray of hope and belief and with time they would build the elusive structure and success would be inevitable. But what do we have? An omnipresent Utomi contesting in all elections since 2003 on an obscure platform that we r forced to remember just b4 elections and hoping something miraculous happens then turning to blame Nigerians for turning their backs at him when the inevitable trouncing at the polls occur. Seriously- What else do u expect? This guy is just counting on goodwill to succeed but someone has got to tell him and u that Goodwill is never going to be enough in his lifetime.

And who decides which candidates are serious and which are not?
Not even in the U.S do you have all candidates taking part in presidential debates. only the top candidates make it to the podium, and unfortunately Utomi by all rational standards does not make the list of the top 4 presidential candidates hence his exclusion from the debate. I'm sure he'll get his chance though in the BON organized debate, but expect him to be facing off against some other obscure candidate like the Owambe aficianado - Dele Momodu.

'NN24 did not even invite the man to the debate because they knew he would be overkill for the other candidates'

Now thats a lie from the pit of hell. He wasnt invited simply cos he's not a 'serious' candidate period. It sure would be great to have an Utomi as president but fact is a vote for him at this time is a sure vote going down d drain and i hold no one else responsible than Utomi himself for his certain and now familiar failure. His decision to run on d platform of an obscure party with no identifiable members, no serious alliances and hope to achieve any form of success is just laughable. Nigeria is no America where people are swayed by ideology or impressed by intellect (at least majority of the people arent) like it or not the major determinants of political success are finance, ethnicity and political affiliations. Utomi hasnt got any of these going for him so his attempt at the presidency remains nothing more than a feeble one destined to fail from the outset.

@Op,
The answer to your question depends on your perception of Nigerians. Here's what i think;
1) Buhari - if truly Nigerians are like animals that need to be beaten into place to conform, given a strict definition of right and wrong which they must adhere to with dire consequences for those that err.
2)Gej- If Nigerians are a complex people that need to be understood and each distinct set given what is due or perceived to be due to them in order to keep them happy, make them do your bidding and harness their potentials.
3)Ribadu - If Nigerians are ruthlessly corrupt and we need a proud,brash and perceived honest man to rescue us.
4)Shekarau- If Nigerians are all like Kano residents that are easily swayed by personalities.
5)Utomi - If Nigerians are predominantly literate and free from grinding poverty.
6)Okotie - If Nigerians are not divided by religion and wary of new age pastors and appreciate out-of-dictionary English words a little more.
Buhari comes first cos most around here seem to believe they r animals and need an iron hand to do whats right. I'll go with Gej though cos i think he's what we need.

Extremely good call by Gej especially when u consider the fact that the other leading contestants only succeeded in displaying their folly to the same elites they intended to impress. On the streets, i'm yet to hear anyone that thinks the Dbanj interview was anything other than superb Even though the BB online propaganda agents would have us believe otherwise.

Sagamite:
Rubbish about Ribadu being stuck on Tinubu, you don't know what he plans.
Your above statement implies Ribadu has good intentions for romancing Tinubu doesnt it? Does it not follow since u're criticizing Gej for patronizing Bode George that u're certain of his evil intentions? How else can u be so sure except u've had a revealing chat with one of his Brain vessels?

I'm sure u had a very revealing discussion with a vessel in Gej's brain to know exactly how evil his intentions are towards Nigeria.
Sagamite:
The same person you accuse of kissing backside refused the deputy the mono-Godfather of the party was trying to force on him and refused to backdown on any merger with CPC. Buhari has always been robust and dignified. Cut the bullshit!
U really believe this crap u typed? Humour me. ACN is a Yoruba party and with Tinubu seeing himself as the new "Awo" he feels obligated to protect the interest of Yoruba's hence he blatantly refused any VP from the South East even when that wld have been more appealing to the electorates and even given the AC an edge over the current rave - CPC. Imagine Tinubu refusing a Ribadu - Iweala ticket, even I wld have been swayed!. The less i speak abt Buhari, the better.

What will happen will happen during the election and GEJ is favourite but he does not have a monopoly over the proletariate so he is vulnerable if rigging is prevented. Just don't come here and say he is a critical part of our Maturity process. The man has shown he has NOTHING to offer.

Yeah, I agree with most pasts. That does not EXCUSE or MITIGATE a NATIONAL MUTHAFUCKING PRESIDENT sending his cabinet member and wife to join the thanks-giving fanfare for a convicted corrupt criminal that AIRED on TV in a country ruined by corruption.

It should not, can not and does not distract from/mitigate such kind of cretinous judgement by a national leader, who some people want to tell us is a PROGRESSIVE.
And u ask yourselves why Buhari, Ribadu and Utomi do not stand any realistic chance in the coming elections? Nigeria is Nigeria and wont become Britain overnight where socializing with criminals is taboo!. These are extremely powerful criminals with incredible followership and if an aspirant from a minority tribe has to patronize a few of such powerful crooks like IBB and Bode George in order to be elected, thats Ok by me afterall Ribadu has his lips stuck on Tinubu's bum and Buhari is still trying to locate the sweetest part in Ibb's backside. Did Buhari's party not try to exclude Abacha's son and he had to go to court (and bribe the judge) to be announced as candidate?
Get a life. Where were they when he picked the party membership form? Are parties open to all comers? If they had an ideology and had set out strict criteria for membership wld Abacha have been drawn to the party? They accepted him cos they knew he was a money bag while praying silently that he falls along the way, but when he won the primaries, they belatedly tried to disocciate themselves from him and here u are talking crap.

Yeah, Maybe he's all that so what? The overwhelming majority or as u like - the "proletariat" still want him while the educated elites and feudal lords want him out. So pls tell me what you see ahead - A revolution led by the elite? The twin bogey's of Poverty and illiteracy can not be wished away, the price we r paying now is for having an overwhelming number of illiterates and poor people. Unfortunately without allowing time to tilt the balance, there's no way out except thru a very bloody revolution.

And whose fault is it that those you think can be the difference, do not know how to appeal to those that can vote them into power? let me guess Gej's. Nigeria is maturing, we've got to learn at our own pace. There is bound to be a violent and very bloody clash if the country doesnt grow at its own pace, Gej may not be the best candidate out there but he's an extremely critical part of that "Maturity" process.

Politics › Re: Bakare Floors Opponents In Nn24 Vp Debate by wesley80(m): 9:12am On Mar 16, 2011
Here's an editorial verdict:

, Many Nigerians, therefore, had great expectations for our country’s first vice presidential TV debate, especially since the cast of vice presidential candidates is a colourful one that includes respected cleric Tunde Bakare, famed corporate whiz Fola Adeola, and experienced public servant John Oyegun. Also expected — until he chickened out without explanation – was former governor and now Vice President, Namadi Sambo.

Unfortunately, the debate we got was neither the debate we expected nor that which we deserved — and it had little to do with the disappearance of Mr. Sambo. Save for perfunctory references to their principals being “the best candidate for president that Nigerians have,” none of the debaters was able to make a solid case for why their ticket is far and above the rest the best choice for Nigeria at this time.

Candidates instead turned to sweeping generalizations as they struggled to outdo themselves in offering choice words for the People’s Democratic Party. If we didn’t know any better, it would be easy to conclude that there are only two parties in this contest: PDP and The Others. While there is something to be said for civility and geniality, the debaters were rather too comfortable and self-satisfied and appeared in no hurry to draw sharp contrasts in ideology, mission and strategy, almost as if there was no hope that this debate would serve any useful purpose for the electorate. The debate was also frustratingly void of specifics. A question about developing our non-oil economy, for instance, got a rambling answer from Mr. Bakare that instead took Nigerians on a history lesson; and Mr. Adeola’s prescription for a robust economy was for Nigerians to go on an undefined “corruption fast” — a recommendation that is both impractical and difficult to understand. Even the quality of the conversation left a lot to be desired. In one cringeworthy moment, candidates grouped women and the disabled together in yet another instance of obtuseness in correctly deconstructing issues and offering constructive ideas.

The more I hear these dumb comparisons, the more I have more respect for Gej. Your intolerant General divorced his wife of over Two decades over the flimsy excuse of accepting money while he was in jail from IBB (then a demon now a saint worthy of patronage) and married a more presentable lady, and the only thing u can see is a gorgeous woman? Try Hypocrisy, or how else do u describe courting the same man that made u divorce the mother of your children?. Patience may not be an eloquent speaker, her English might make us chuckle and uncomfortable but she has stood by her man thru thick and thin and has earned her place grammar or no grammar, she isnt going to be dumped or shackled by Gej. Now thats Faithfulness!
Buhari's true self is all too often revealed not in his statements but in his actions, the traits of a Despot and Fascist are there 4 everyone with a half brain to see.
