9ijaMan: rebranded: Ibime:This what i get for having an opinion contrary to yours? Problem is too many eediots think criticizing the president makes them sound smart. I really do not blame u lot, its understandable if u're jumping at an opportunity to be thot smart but maybe you ought to try harder cos your folly stinks a mile ahead of u? We've got just too many lunatics on the loose. |
And why are Nigerians in a hurry to put the blame on the presidency? Babalola came out with an allegation he could not substantiate when the chips were down and as far as I'm concerned, this admission does not vindicate but indict him-at least 4 cowardice, afterall he had the opportunity to come out and say what he knew instead he allowed himself to be intimidated and forced out of govt. The Finance Minister rightly commisioned an independent audit being led by I think Akintola WilliamsDeloitte instead of making half informed statements like Babalola and with the report due next week, Oniwon is just trying to preempt the report and gather some credibility for himself. Those of u queuing up to criticize the govt and Aganga are only displaying your naivety as the real credit ought to go to those that commisioned an independent audit instead of making uninformed statements ie Aganga and the Gej government. Folks, Its not really hard to see Gej's great strides in our nation, just try using your brains a little. Abeg una. |
Another hot load of freshly prepared horseshit from SR destined for the ever open mouths of the Anti-Gej campaigners like the poster above me. Only Cross River has done AFIS indeed, was it not reported that about 11,000 double registrations were discovered in Imo State? Ok that wasnt AFIS abi? Just becos it didnt make the front page elsewhere doesnt mean it wasnt done. SR is doing nothing but brainwashing the willing. Too bad we've got truckloads of them all over the place. |
The ACN has got the ears and hearts of the Yoruba's so its Safe to assume its that Jaguda with a sagging mouth called Tinubu. |
^^^ r u for real? Which Ibori is loved by Deltans? Pls if u've got nothing to say abeg blow whistle. It is a fact that Ibori is still accepted by the Urhobo (his bday is usually an event for the U.P.U-Urhobo Progressive Union) and Delta elite but that was only becos he was too big and influential to be ignored and some civil servants still luv him 4 being the one that made the money 'go round'. Elsewhere, he's seen as nothing more than a common criminal and a source of embarassment to the state. Last time some group of pple had a solidarity march 4 Ibori in Warri, it degenerated into a huge fight when the marchers got to the predominantly Urhobo area of Effurun cos they wldnt have their lives disrupted 4 some common criminal. Outside Oghara, Ibori is nothing but a Liability. Ask Udughan! |
And what good wld Ibori's return do Jonathan? Is it to please Uduaghan who already has waning support in his state, the Urhobos amongst whom Ibori is a constant source of embarassment or perharps help in restoring the cabal he worked tooth and nail to dismantle? Someone pls tell me which. Junk and sensational reporting as this sometimes make me see the sense in China's strict internet regulation. SR is doing no more than fuelling misinformation and inciting hatred under the guise of freedom of speech. Deadly weapons shld be kept from the hands of foolz and I think the internet and Sowore are as dangerous as Ahmedinajad and a nuclear weapon - ask Rwandans! |
@OP, Thot u said u had no hidden agenda? |
And which of his opponents do u think he's afraid of? |
Gini bu ihe a?
Engligbo!!! |
Ojukwu a coward? Humour me. Personally I'm not one of those that think he's more than what he is- someone that led Igbos into an unfortunate war. But How could any of u even in your wildest fantasy put him on d same boat with Diya? Such a travesty and it kinda speaks volumes. Diya, Ojukwu SMH. chai. alueme! |
@Dayokanu Did I hear u mention Diya? U meant Oladipo Diya right? The crying General who went on his knees weeping and begging for an offense he didnt commit qualifier to be among your great sons? Cowardice surely is a virtue amongst your people! TUFIAKWA!!! @Bluetooth, That Ogun list has got Kwashiokor compared to the Anambra list. Just to many names with no real substance. Pls go through the Anambra list again and try compiling something better for Ogun. |
The Ogun list no doubt is quite impressive with international and national bigwigs no other State in Ngr can match, but I still think Anambra comes first. Why? Lets look at it this way, while Ogun has got a few dazzling stars, Anambra has quite a huge number of brigt lights ie, what they lack in quality, they more than make up in quantity. Lets compare; Zik and Awo take out each other, Achebe and Soyinka( of course Wole got d Nobel but we all know there was only one book, so honours r even), There's a big Obj but Anambra has got Ojukwu, Anyaoku, Ekwueme and Okadigbo (surely an overkill). There's a huge Adenuga but Anambra has got Innoson,Coscharis, Ogbuawa, Ibeto etc, Ogun has got an immensely huge Fela but Anambra has a trio of Osadebey,Oliver and Morocco. And so on and so forth. So u see? For any field u can spk of, Anambra has got a good number of reps so they top my list. |
If this were 2 be a competition, I think Anambra wld av won by some distance. Even a country wld have to be proud of Nwabobo's list. IMO, a ranking wld go like; 1) Anambra 2) Ogun 3) Imo, Delta and one or two more States. 4)All the rest |
PhysicsRND:for a while I thot u were trying to say Mike Okri. |

oyb:Of course U should know. Bush fish |
Gbawe:@ Bolded, No About my statement on Jarus, I wld have apologised if he'd indicated any sign he was offended - he did not, butt u've been whining about it all over the place, r u his alter ego or is it just your nature to cry more than the bereaved? Gbawe:U mean u'lld really say that to your Northern political opponent if u were vying 4 office in Ngr? Speaks volumes about u.Seriously. |
I've got to admit this is one very mature flag-off ceremony, very very encouraging and real issues are being discussed. If only I didnt know those guys speaking so eloquently were crooks also. Ribadu has got a lot to learn though, he scored a plus for saying he slept without light and a double minus for saying his house was close to the Villa IMO. All in all, quite commendable. |
@Gbawe Will u pls stop spewing crap from yr mouth and be objective 4 once? Tinubu just made a completely innaproriate and offensive statement and all u can do is sit your butt down and try 2 rationalize it simply cos u're allergic to Gej. Tinubu's statement is a personal attack on Gej and his people and is far removed from the context of politics. In saner climes, this statement wld be his political casket and wld be enough to have the ACN and all its candidates dissociate themselves from him, but with people like u and Ribadu ready to look the other way as long as his 'Drug money' keeps rolling in, i doubt if anything close is likely. |
jason123:that isnt the issue dummy. Gej was quoted out of context and he's made himself pretty clear to those that have ears. |
Gbawe:Just One question for you b4 we move on; What qualifies Gej to be called a fisherman?
jonathan can called yoruba politicians ''Rascals'' and you are telling me it's just Acn leaders.what difference does it make if yoruba considered tinubu,Akande, fashola, osoba,Lam Adeshina,Adefarati among others as their leaders ? Must only yoruba politicians in pdp be considered as yoruba leaders ? Jonathan started it and he deserves whatever insult he's getting from the yorubas
If u say Gej was referring to "Yoruba Leaders" when he made his comment abt Rascals, who was he seeking to replace them with? Igbo leaders? Bros use your head na! |
^^^ Nairalanders didnt turn it to a tribal issue, Tinubu Did. |
What difference does it make when a niger deltan called some yoruba elders ''rascals'' and the yorubas returned it and called him a ''drunk fisherman''.it's just a compliment and jonathan should take it like that.mschew
The difference is that it is the fishermen that have been putting 'fish' on the table of the "Rascals" while they barely have enough for themselves. While Gej's comment could be read as an insult to the present crop of ACN leaders alone, Tinubu's sagging mouth just insulted the entire people of the Niger Delta and not only Gej!. I think these peeps have been getting too much fish especially with this coming from one of the biggest benefactors of the 'fish fest'. Make no mistake about it, this is going to reverberate big time. |
Used to have an HPnc6000 but I've packed it up for sometime. what wld it be worth? It had board trouble b4 i packed it up. |
U all are just hating a sista 4 being smarter than u all. No doubt this is a sad tale, But judging by the antecedents of the OP, we all have a pretty good idea as to the direction his argument would go, Its just a case of your reputation going ahead of u. So IMO a pre-emptive strike is in order. |
monkeyleg:Did u even bother to think b4 spewing out this Crap? All Nigerians should have their ages verified by who? U really r more stupi.d than I ever thought. |
But by laying so much emphasis on the latter part of the sentence we dither profoundly on nuances, and this typifies the general tendency to dwell on the negative which we must, as a country, refrain from. My qualification of the West as highly educated and sophisticated was easily dispensed with, while the fact that we should not expose such civilized and educated populace to rascality was played more upon, with emphasis on the rascality.
@Bolded, If only they were not too deaf to hear. blacksta:Of course, I expect common sense to bore u. |
