@Jarus,
Since when did u start obeying the will of "forumites"? Let me guess; whenever it suits your clandestine sadistic propaganda campaign right?
Fact is 95% of those that wld vote and flap their tongues the loudest on this thread are marooned 4 good outside the shores of the country they claim to know so much abt and mort probably, do not know what a Voters card look like. So while u prepare to sit back and gloat, just give yrself credit 4 what u've achieved which is no more than instigating an assembly of irrelevant haterz.

Yet anoda opportunity 4 Vultures to congregate and have a feast on insanity and gloat over negativity. SMH.
Members of this ever increasing 'Winged Herd' just like people suffering from severe bouts of extremely infectious daily insanity, leave me in no doubt why they so desire Zealots to be their leaders; You need help and require an extremist in the class of Ahmedinajad of Iran and Kim Jon Ill of N Korea to help u put your sanities in order thru censorship, Threats, intimidation and of course summary executions. Unfortunately, u came 2 and a Half decades late and Sane Nigerians desire much better 4 themselves. So until we've got enough cages to lock u guys up 4 good, pls indulge yrselves and enjoy yr freedom while u can.

@Monkeyleg,
U're a pathetic lout and you've never betrayed those that chose to raise you without the most basic of morals or a shred of decency. Your campaign of calaumny and falsity is nothing but a reflection of the sty where u were raised with lies and filth permitted to be discharged from the four wide corners of your mouth. I feel sorry for the one you actually have to bear his name.
Politics › Re: The Ideal Candidate Is Pat Utomi by wesley80(m): 10:28pm On Feb 09, 2011
Pat Utomi is a more recognizable figure in Lagos state than he is in Delta State, Outside Ibusa -I stand to be corrected -, he's just another Chris Okotie doing what He's always done. As appealing as he is to a certain segment of the Educated class (which is like a very generous 2%), He's a political nonentity not only in his homestate but also in his COUNTRY. Deal with it.

Its absolutely shameful and pathetic, But dont xpect the NL bosses 2 do anything abt it cos they r d biggest beneficiaries of this continuing proliferation of insanitee. Virtually every dumb thread is assured of making the homepage as long as its anti-Gej, his Wife or Cabinet member. Insults and name calling go unnoticed in such threads as long as the mor.ons have d upper hand. If a debate tends towards favoring Gej, then u have d moral hypocrites deleting posts and threads. Try calling them to order and the next thing they come out feigning ignorance and objectivity, Such a shame!

manny4life:
@Wesley80, 4,000 MW and you want Nigerians to be proud because it was some feat that was achieved, right? Call it sick opposition, call it fierce whatever, the Nigerian people deserve better. I repeat AGAIN, Nigeria has the potential to get up to 10x that "4000MW was a feat to achieve" amount before their vision 2020 get there. Every state can contribute a huge substantial amount and with 36 states including the FCT, it can be achieved. Whoever the man you called lost his position was clearly because he probably did not know what he was doing in office. Nigeria needs competent hands and action minds that can get project done and in a TIMELY MANNER as well.
Ngrns do not have to be proud over 3800Mw but the least we should do is acknowledge that progress is being made. OBJ had 8yrs, Yaradua 3 but still Ngr never attained 4,000Mw but now its fluctuating b/w 3,000 and 4,000Mw and we still have nothing but criticisms. The issue isnt Ngr's potential, we all know we arent even close to where we r supposed to be, but we r making progress bit by bit.
Business › Re: Power Output Drops To 3,313mw by wesley80(m): 4:20pm On Feb 09, 2011
Kobojunkie:
Why not answer this particular issue rather than pushing answers that matter not.  WE KNOW that power shortage does happen every now and then but at the frequency it seems to happen with this administration? COME ON!!!  Just in December, people we were told the national average was 2900MW when it had been announced over and over that Nigeria was at 3800MW, and then back down, and then up again, and then back down . . . you get the point. Then last month we were told it had improved from december's level(it fell again in december), and we were at 3800MW, and then a slump happened, and only days ago we were told we may be at 4000MW(no one has verified that to this point), and now it has fallen again?? It is rational to ask what the heck is going on.
So where is the sense in what u've just said? How many times in the past 30 years has Ngr been able to produce up to 4,000MW? Recall Bola Ige lost his position at the ministry of Power after promising stable power thru attaining 4,000Mw but failed 2 do so at the end of the promised period and no govt. since then has been able to attain that number. So if the entire system is having difficulty coping with the present production level, why should that be impossible 4 u folks 2 believe?
  3,800Mw is probably nothing when compared to what we actually need to put steady light in our homes but by Nigerian standards, its some feat. So pls lets give the man some credit instead of celebrating every little setback and ignoring progress all in the name of some sick opposition.

@Gbawe,
I knew u were going to point to that, but fact is -as it so often is among the anti Gej legion - your hatred for the man has obfuscated your objectivity. U need friends and influential ppl to win elections and it is even more herculean a task for a president from a minority tribe there4 he's got a whole lot of friends 2 make b4 d elections. At this point, a large cabinet is inevitable afterall we've got just 3mnths 2 go so whats d fuss afterall its been that way since eternity. Bianca is one helluva friend 2 make i tell ya.
If Gej is kissing some butts to secure d presidency, thats Ok - its d game afterall Ribadu is busy licking Tinubu's and no one seems to be noticing!
Politics › Re: Ribadu Takes A First Jab At Jonathan----"resign Now, He Says"! by wesley80(m): 7:09pm On Jan 27, 2011
I hope someone reminds Ribadu of the dangers of punching above his weight.
@Gbawe,
Scathing criticisms I've got to admit, but at the same time I believe Gej should get the credit for having such critical advisers among his fold and for also acknowledging the problem. A good leader has got to have friends he respect and friends that tell him the truth no matter how bitter. An intolerant Buhari or a very proud Ribadu would equate such criticisms as treachery and we all know their favorite weapons dont we? So all in all as it so often is these days, its a plus for Gej.
