Thanks alot.

. Is study leave from place of work enough?

Sorry I forgelot to address the question above.
It will be nice if they provide you with a study leave. They can state that you will be paid while you're away. Even better if they decide to sponsor you. A well written recommendation letter will be ideal

Landed property(ties)? business(es) owned?
Employment offer after your studies in Australia? Proof of Inheritance?

Is study leave from place of work enough?

Please let me ask you guys real quick:

1. Are diploma programs e.g.1.8 or 2yrs enrolled nursing programs accessible by Nigerians?
Yes, you need to meet the criterias

2. Presently, can anyone recommend an affordable AL1 university in any part of Australia?
Tuition is almost the same across Australia. The government made it so to encourage competition among Universities

3. At 38, is it possible to convince the visa officer of one's intention of enrolling in a BSc or Diploma program while holding an MBA?

While holding an MBA? NO. You can't go from higher to lower. Possible if you enroll for Masters program or just apply for BSc without presenting your MBA certificate

4. I heard POF is not needed if one can pay a semester or annual fees of an AL1 university, is that correct?

Absolutely right.

5. Are enrolled nursing graduates eligible to apply for PR without a BSc nursing degree?

Yes, read this:. https://deltaimmigration.com.au/Enrolled-Nurse/411411.htm

Thanks in anticipation.

Hello house, has anybody or anybody sponsor used a company account for proof of fund and payment was successful.

A lot have and it's much better doing it that way than sponsoring yourself. They must also write you a very strong recommendation letter. Provide your payslips, tax statements, and job offer letter to buttress your claim.

Hello, good morning.

Prior to lodging my visa application, I’d like to make some enquiry.

Given the reasons I intend to state as to why I will be returning back to Nigeria, is it advisable to add that My father has a business (no relation to my course of study) which I will be coming back to work in

Ask your dad to give you a job offer that will commence when you will be finishing your study in Australia (A very strong tie to return home) and if possible, let the company also sponsor you.

and that my mum is a registered nurse and I have worked alongside her (volunteering) so I intend to come back and get a full time job at the workplace.

what course are you looking to study in Australia? Is it related to Nursing? If yes, ask the company your mum worn for to write you a recommendation letter and to state that they will be happy to employ you when you return home

Please I need all opinions on the issue. I don’t want to make any mistakes that will cost me getting a grant.

GTE na docu to show say u dey truly enta Aus to com study. Only those wey apply online go fit confam if dia agent submit d documents wey dem provide.

If u no submit online na to wait see if ur case officer fit request 4mor docu or wait to see d result of ur visa application.

Please what are the chances of a visa grant after a refusal?
I was refused and I plan on reapplying. I want to know my chances of a grant. Does anyone have a grant history after a refusal..
Thanks guys

You need to work on why you were refused in the first place. If your circumstances on refusal hasn't change, you most probably will be refused again.

We're lucky Australia gives reason for refusal, lot of countries don't. Which makes it more difficult when reapplying.

Japan doesn't give reason and they won't charge you fees. China is useless.

Good evening

Please can someone clarify me on this

1. Can I submit my account statement bearing my name. Am sponsoring myself. Though I don't have any payslip or salary pay slip

2. How many months should the statement of account be

Thanks

How did you get the money you will be using to sponsor yourself?

Did it come into your account as a lump sum payment? If yes, from whom? What source? You need to clarify your case officer on this otherswise it will be considered as money lodgement which is a huge red flag.

hello everyone, is the tuition fee in Australia paid upfront?

Depending on the University, a deposit payment of AU $10,000 to $14,000 is payable when you accept your Offer of Admission. This payment is counted as credit towards your tuition fees in the first semester/trimester. After enrolment, you will be invoiced for the balance of your fees in that semester/trimester.

You must make that deposit inorder to receive a Certificate Of Enrollment from your University which you will present to your case officer when applying for student visa.

Good evening guys!
My name is Tomiwa and I've been given admission to study Master in public health at Curtin University, Torrens University and La Trobe University.
I think I've crossed the first huddle of deciding which one to go for, as I have concluded consider Torrens (basically because it's the cheapest).
Any advice on my decision is most welcome.

School resumes by February 20 and I plan to travel in January but the challenge is I feel like these 3 months that I have won't be enough to process Form A and Visa.
I will be sending in the documents for GTE assessment by ending of next week. (Bank statement is the reason for the delay).

Now to my questions...
1. How long does it take for assessment result to come out?
2. How long does form A take to be processed typically? (The other options are at least 2M more expensive)
3. Basically will the next 3 months be enough?
I will need the most practical ways to go about this and also best practices to engage.

Hi people,

Please, help me a couple of questions.
1. What do I need to apply for student visa for a full-funded phd program to Australia?

Application form and fees

COE from University

Are you traveling alone or with family? Bank statement depending on what sort of scholarship you have

Statement of purpose - not really necessary

Passport pages copied and certified by a notary

Police Clearance Certificate certified by a notary

2. I will be getting my CoE and oshc proof this week. Do I do biometrics & medicals before visa application?

Submit your OSHC with your COE

Medicals expires every 12months I suppose.
It's recommend you book in for one early enough as it may be difficult for you to find an appointment when asked by your case officer to go for one.

3. Please, what’s this GTE thing and at what stage do I need it?

GTE stand for Genuine Temporary Entrant.

Base on the documents you have provided, your University will assess you to ensure you're not just looking to come to Australia for economic reason. You will be in Australia solely for study and will return to your home country after your studies has completed.

They know that 99.9 of the students from Africa don't return to their countries but they don't want you rubbing it on their faces.

Anyways, they want you to show them you will be in Australia for no other reason other than studies.

I will appreciate any more info. Thanks

Please house is IELT result compulsory in all austrialia university admission documenst and if not, which universities ?
Most schools require applicants coming from non English speaking countries to submit IELTS result. You will be amazed to know that South Africans have been removed from this list.

Well you may want to write a convincing statement as to why you should be exempted from writing IELTS. If the school is happy with it and you're an AL1 applicant, immigration won't ask for IELTS result.

You can ask for waiver from your university. but then, you need to provide them with result of your waec/neco assuming you passed English in flying colors. You also need to provide them with cover letter from the dean of your faculty assuming you already have a first degree back in Nigeria.

In your exemption letter let them understand English has always been your medium of studies. You speak English in your family setting and Nigeria was colonized by British hence English is our official language.

The structure of your write up will determine if they will grant you waiver.

Immigration doesn't have the right to ask for IELTS as they are not the school they have accessed your eligibility unless your school isn't a streamline University.

Good morning all.

Please does Australia have an Age Limit for Ppstgraduate admission?

My hubby, who is 36, will be 37 by Jan got an admission into Federal University this September but was advised that chances of being granted entry are slim considering his age and time frame of Admission. Although, he was given till January to finish to finsh up every process and be there before February. Also, that he will not be able to go with his family at once until after 3months time, how possible is this even if we try another batch?

Please I need advise so we don't squander funds.

37 isn't bad for someone looking at furthering their studies . Australia doesn't worry much about age as long as you have a good reason as to why you want to further your studies or change career. People change careers in Australia alot and people pick up further study along the line.

Immigration usually requires about 3monthbto process your application Incase they need to verify your documents. Worse case scenario he will be advised to defer his admission with his school.

It's best for you all to apply together if you have the funds for visa processing and living expenses. Getting much harder trying to get the dependants in after arrival.

NB: I'm 21...its undergrad and My parent is my sponsor

Any university listed here is qualified for streamline processing

You're still young. If you don't have the fees for University you can try Tafe with pathway to Uni.

Good Day Brethren,

I have been given provisional admission at The University of Newcastle. I want to pay the initial deposit. I have the value in my USD account here in Nigeria. How will I go about making the payment online without going through form A wahala. This school is not ready to provide account number for form A processing, they said it takes time. I have been to all my banks, I was directed to Form A.

Any plug to help out in this regard will be highly appreciated at a friendly rate.

Do you have family in Australia?
I am in Newcastle NSW way. Can be of assistance if you like. Today is holiday in Australia. If you are happy to make payment into my account in Nigeria, I will go to the University of Newcastle to pay your tuition fees.

To keep your mind at rest, before you make the payment, I will do a video call with you at a local police station near me and you can have a chat with a police officer if you like.
Or if you have an ideas to prove that I am not a scammer let me know.

Good morning!!!
Please after visa lodgement, can I use the money in my account (the account I used as proof of fund).
My agent is saying I shouldn’t touch the money.

Your closing account isn't really important when a visa office is considering your application or looking at your bank statement. What's really paramount is the flow of cash. How much goes in and out of your account? What do you spend your money on?
Let say you're a business person, they know you could invest your money in a new business opportunity that may have presented itself. Like I mentioned earlier, how much goes in and out of your account is very important and what you spend your money on will determine if your sponsor will have enough to look after you while in Australia.
