coolsegun2002: Its hard atfirst..but later the pup Will come around...people don't recommend my style ...most pple say study the time dey pee nd shiit..nd carry dem out at that time ....do this for a few months nd they will get used to peeing in the location u carry dem to...iv got a lhasa nd a cauc...dat my lhasa can shiit.nd when I say shiit..I mean shiit..me I introduce koboko b4 he stopped peeing in the house...dnt mind me, I like radical approach...my cauc is just wonderful I adopted him at 6weeks..I don't know how he knew..he just ddnt shhit or pee in the house.. So your Lhasa goes outside on its own, or assisted?? What if there is no one home to take him out In my case, i stay in an apartment (not on the ground floor), so its practicably impossible to be taking him outside every time. Here is what I am thinking of doing; I demarcate an area in my house (likely close to the toilet) where i would train him to do his thing. Though i would have to be cleaning up regularly... But i think that's my best option |
Pets › Maintaining A Toy Dog In An Apartment by Whalewale(op): 4:51pm On Mar 20, 2015 |
Recently feel in love with Dogs, so I am getting a Dog (lhasa) this weekend. Currently i am doing some little preparations to receive him into my apartment. .. like buying dog bowl, shampoo, treats, fur brush e.t.c.....
But what I am not really prepared for is how i would handle the waste (poo)... You know these puppies pee and poo anyhow.. I wanna knwo how other people here on Nairaland have handled it... FYI.. I stay in an apartment where i cant afford to take the puppy outside regularly to poo.. . So how do you handle it? I checked online and some sites recommend getting Pee Pads (which no one sells here in Nigeria). ... Others recommend putting the dog in a crate / cage/...
So what do you guys think? |

Bonapart: Let me say this. If you check all my comment my support was always on jonathan but yesterday night i had a dream. I saw myself and some of my fellow prayer warriors in our church my Apostle also present. My pastor began some prayers and prophecy and start asking God for ''change'' in Nigeria. He said our government won't continue like this that we need change. I was shock and suprise. .. so my people don't be surprise if Buhari win this election. Buhari might be right about being a converted democrat but I don't like tinubu.... may God help us From today and for the first time. .....

Politics › Re: Buhari's Full Speech At Chatham House,london by Whalewale(m): 1:07pm On Feb 27, 2015 |
nortcentrallord: Nice written speech. All thanks to Osibanjo for this great piece. On Boko haram, he forgot to mention his fight and call to ICJ about GEJ committing genocide in the North when GEJ almost nipped it in the bud with Ihejirika which eventually lead to the laters retirement and made US to refuse selling weapons to Nigeria which eventually led to the fall of Baga and others
On his military rule, Everybody knows he should take responsibility but apologizing shows he did certain wrong and he accepts it and ask for forgiveness.
On corruption, he promised not to work with any corrupt individual but all those he is working with right now are they clean of corruption? Considering 50percent of his close supporter in APC right now we're thesame people that dragged this country back to this point we are now under PDP or he meant he won't work with corrupt people with the definition of corrupt being those convicted
On Democratic fairness and accountability, he promised to be fair and be accountable yet has not done the simple need full of requesting for the said possessed certificate from Cambridge even now that he is in the UK.
On the opening speech, he thanked Chatam house for inviting him to speak. But one of Chatam house correspondents said he wasn't on their schedule as @ last week but was booked at the die minute to give a speech and that it was lawful since Chatam house is independent body and has provision for booking die minute schedule. But APC as at last week alleged that their candidate was invited to speak at Chatam house.
To be more objective now, what has he promised to do that GEJ is not already doing?
Change as defined by the dictionary is to put or take (a thing) in place of something else; substitute for, replace with, or transfer to another of a similar kind... mark the last part, "another similar kind.
Change is a two way thing. Can be backward or forward but transformation is gradual and ever positively forward.
Change is immediate while transformations gradual. Ask yourselves this question, do you really believe change is achievable in African democracy? I believe transformation can be achieved as it be gradual both on the physical and on the ideal level of an average Nigeria. GEJ is not doing anything tangible my brother. And change is possible in any democracy!!! in what ever form!!! CHANGE is possible.. Don't be pessimistic, as it might blind you from seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. |

Family › Over 9 Months After: The Chibok Girls Would Have Babies By Now by Whalewale(op): 10:13am On Feb 12, 2015 |
Yesterday, my fiance' and I were talking about having kids in the future, and I told her that I wanted all our kids to be born in the month of February. She laughed at the bogus plan. Then we decided to calculate the possibility of how to make it happen. It would mean that she would have to conceive in April by Gods grace, thus delivering in 9 months give or take.
Immediately, my mind wandered to the talented beautiful 219 girls who were kidnapped last year April. I reminded my Fiance' about the girls and we both felt extremely sad and heart broken. We ended up saying a prayer for them.
Nigerians. We should not let these girls suffer. Some would be mothers by now due to rape and other activities they have been subjected to since April 2014.
Pray that God strengthens everyone of them.

Wonderful Letter. I sincerely hope Prof Osinbajo gets to read it. I know he would be revamped and inspired.
I would like to add a popular qoute....
" The only thing required for vices of evil, poverty, distress and chaos to triumph is for good men to do nothing. President Jonathan is a GOOD man; but he is doing NOTHING, thus the increase of these vices in our environment.
People lets save our land. Lets save our children This is our chance to DO SOMETHING.
Take it upon yourselves to CHANGE the course of our destiny.
It would be well. In Jesus name.
Amen. |

do you know that USA is a developed country where they don't lack anything atall, so even the old can rule and still make some changes, but NIGERIA is still a developing country, we are still behind that is why we need a young leader, i mean a young leader, who would bring development and changes to nigeria, we need young intelligent brains and not old illiterate brains, that way nigeria can compete with USA by 2020.

Politics › Re: I’m Coming Up With Anti-corruption Plan — Jonathan by Whalewale(m): 9:49pm On Jan 02, 2015 |
LogicPower: You STILL don't get it, Mr Clueless!
1. In a country where corruption is so endemic, so widespread and so ingrained in almost every institution, there is NO WAY you can clean the menace without arresting and EXECUTING JAILING the corrupt and criminal elements, especially those who loot hundreds of millions.
2. If you cannot catch and PUNISH THE BIG CULPRITS who steal billions of the public money, then you can as well tell our police and the courts to STOP arresting and jailing THE PETTY CRIMINALS who steal PEANUTS compared to what your friends, associates and mentors loot DAILY from our common treasury!
3. You have just proved, ONCE AGAIN, that you have NOT got the amount of MORAL COURAGE that is needed to confront THE BIG THIEVING ELITE of this country.
4. And since you have NOT confronted them before, nobody should expect you to even try to confront them now, when MANY of them are either using the looted money to fund your re-election or are mouthing their support for your campaign, which they know is the surest way of getting away with all what they have looted, and are looting!
5. If not for your cluelessness and HALF-HEARTED commitment to fighting corruption, how on earth would you dismiss and even mock the age-long, tested and trusted way of deterring criminals (i.e. arresting them and jailing them), only for you to come up with A VAGUE and RIDICULOUS idea of 'strengthening the institutions' as an alternative?
6. Since you have recanted your earlier comments and now, like the rest of us, admit that corruption is one of the two major problems in this country, HOW do you think the corrupt operators of the corrupt system would allow you to 'strengthen the institutions', without first getting rid of them?
7. By this your comment, Mr President, you have just added URGENCY to the determination of Nigerian masses to see that you GIVE WAY to someone who can do a BETTER JOB of looking the thieving elite in the face, on our behalf, and telling them that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Well said. I feel so depressed just seeing this man still trying to hold on to power. I seriously think his closest officials feed him with hope. Cause if he really knew what the average Nigerian wants or thinks of him, he would step down with pride. Everyone would respect him for stepping down. The disgrace would be more if he were to lose via election. It's just depressing. Even my younger sister has greater IQ than him. It's painful. It's sad. It's disgraceful. |

FrankC3: For me, this is the opportunity for us to allow the naira assume it's actual value in the market. The CBN, Finance Ministry and the National Planning office know exactly what is going on. I dont think naira is being devalued, its value has always been falsely maintained by squandering our foreign reserve. It is time to take off the protectionist glove and let the naira gain value on the merits of improved production, employment generation and real economic activity not on the back of foreign reserve, afterall Nigerians are not happy with debt. We can't eat our cake and have it.
It takes ball to do what is happening now in an election period. Dollars will be injected early next year to firm it a little but we should fold our sleeves to build on a solid foundations of agriculture, manufacturing and services that earn foreign exchange. True |
