To think that Ikwerre is Landlocked and of no strategic importance to the Igbo Nation.
Ikwerre's problem is not that they don't want to be Igbo (As even Igbos no send una), it is that they also don't want any other groups in River State to be Igbo (cos that would then make them a minority).
We still no send una, and quite frankly, save for the language, Ikwerre does not behave like Igbos. Real Igbos are proud of who they are!!

I use up my soaps cos they are quite expensive and so no room for waste.

If you have a microwave, just add any good skin oil or essential oil to it put it there to melt then look for a small soap case and pour it in. Allow to mould and voila! you have a new bar soap.

it was erroneously regarded as Igbos but you and I if you had no intention of annexation know it is wrong. I do not have any history of any kind linking me with Igbo. Ikwerres speak their language. God bless you oooo. Since the word go we have always vehemently and passionately told Igbos we have no connection or common ancestry with them. In 1964 when we had everything to gain by claiming Igbo we formed the Ogbakor Ikwerre Convention. Igbos did a catch up by forming Ohaneze Ndigbo in 1965. In the same year in what is today called Rumumasi Declaration Ikwerre released a communique declaring they have nothing to do with Igbos. Remember this was a period Igbos were in charge of eastern Nigeria. Where mention you are Igbo would open the Trojans gate for you.
Ask any Igbo Man the Igbo word for 'Yes'. It doesn't exist.

I am not Igbo and I am not comfortable when Ikwerre is called Igboid tribe by Igbo people, as a backyard way of forcing their identity.

That term Igboid was coined by a foreigner in University of Portharcourt few years ago, who was grouping languages that have affinity or common terms. This is normal worldwide.

She did not group ethnicity or tribes but languages.
Some people are now grouping people as their “Igboid tribes” that must be part of their breakaway country.

You're equally not reading my post. When Ambode of Lagos was at loggerhead with Tinubu, Wike told him to brave up against godfatherism. He (Wike) openly said that he cannot support anybody to become Governor. He even put up an open challenge to Rivers people that he fought and won as a Governor without any Godfather, hence anyone who is interested in governing Rivers State should test his might and popularity with the people.

Wike lied. I never made such a move. His failure to adhere to his promise of not playing godfather after his tenure as Governor is a very bad indicator. He can't be taken for his words.

Bros u are yet to know why Wike is disagreeing with SIM. Wike had a cycle of close friends cum politicians which SIM was among. When it was time to run for governorship they all showed interest to run. SIM wasn't at the forefront but Wike preferred him. Wike told others to step down for SIM. Wike liked SIM for too many reasons. His calm nature and intelligence. He promised others different positions if SIM wins and this includes commissioner's position. This is why it seemed like Wike appointed all positions. This is not the case. There were others that he would also financially empower. This is the deal Fubara has renegaded upon. Wike isn't as bad as people cast him to be. I am not his follower but I follow politics keenly.
