I don't think adding weight comes only as a result of neglect. Some women are genetically configured to be fat and no amount of dieting or exercise can have effect on them. At times, fatness comes as a result of rest of mind. Check out a lady who has been praying for a husband for years and after getting married, the joy she feels within her alone is enough to make her blow up.

In another vein, a man who gets a well paying job after years of fruitless search will definitely balloon, unless fatness is not in his genes.

And does anyone believe there is a Mr or Miss Right somewhere. I just feel we are all striving for perfection. Every body has his/her own flaws.

Two men have been arrested by the police, at Ikotun, for allegedly raping their neighbour’s two-year-old daughter.

The suspects, Kabiru Oyewole and Aliu Ramoni, were alleged to have raped the toddler (names withheld) when she strayed into their apartment at 3, Ajana Close, Ijegun Road, Ikotun. The victim’s mother was said to be washing clothes outside the building while they men were carrying out the devilish act.

P.M.News gathered that the accused were caught after they dropped the toddler outside and she started crying. Her cry atracted the attention of her mother who discovered that blood was dripping from her private part. When the woman asked what was amiss, the elder brother of the victim told their mother that the victim had just come out of the men’s apartment.

P.M.News learnt that the woman raised an alarm which attracted neighbours who attempted to mob the accused before police arrived the scene. The police took them away and later docked them for rape at the Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court. The police in their charge sheet said the offences the suspects were alleged to have committed are punishable under Section 516 and 218 of Criminal Code Cap. 17, Vol. 2 Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria.

The Magistrate, Mrs. M. I. Dan-Oni, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties. She said one of the sureties must be a blood relation while the other must be resident within the court’s jurisdiction. She adjourned the matter till 17, November, 2008, for trial. The father of the victim, who was also at the court told P.M.News that he prays that his daughter survives as she has not been alright after the incident. He wondered why the men should rape his little girl when there are several prostitutes in hotels in the area.
