At the end of the day, its not who the girl dances with but who she follows home that matters

I think during school days, girls probably just used guys to practice their skills - which they used finally to land financially stable men.

I had a very pretty girlfriend while in school and sometimes i felt i couldnt handle her, she kept getting attention from young bankers and peeps like that. She tried oh, staying with me with all the temptation coming in form of gifts and stuff from these guys. I think a girl who loves u will stay with u, its not something u can handle. . . give her total freedom, and watch her reactions, if she goes - good riddance, if she stays - respect her!

And some guys go to extreme limits to gain acceptance when his girl wants some serious change.
I had a friend once who left his old ways, he changed everything - including us - his pals! simply cos he got a half caste girlfriend.
At the end of the day, it dawned on him that this particular girl was just too demanding and he couldnt change any more than he already did. He came back asking for forgiveness.

A few things he changed were his dress mode from casual to always corporate or cultural, his eating habits, stopped eating outside or eating with his hands, he had to start using fork and knife to eat eba
His music also changed to disco, he stopped taking lager, it had to be brandy

There was no more football on TV oh, and his friends were no longer welcome to his place, he also was not allowed to visit us in our own places although he was welcome.

This girl always threatened him with statements like: Are u gonna do stuff to make ur friends happy, or is it me that should be sad?

But, as envisaged, it didnt work cos the guy had lost everything that made sense of life for him. He had to come back to fun!

I say it when i realise i'm out of order, i mean it when i say it, but cant say how many times i've said it - probably over a thousand times so far

Reading this has been confusing. . .  first a young man wants another man's wife, then he gets to know she's married and still wants her, then she's insisting she's married and doesnt want anything to do with it, then her friend wants to convince her to leave her husband and move on with this young man?
Whats all this?

Me thinks (Using just your face) somewhere between 22 and 25yrs of age. Pretty difficult to guess without vital facts such as the parts of your face behind the specs, your full length, and other lil points that could give more detail.

Trust me, there are many ways to kill a rat

You can use a rat trap, rat poisoning, or u can just smash the head with any weapon

But with women, violence is not the way out. I tend do something that exposes the fact that there is only one head in the family without necessarily doing any stupid thing. Some women just need some time to realize they've been bad, and they'll come back to apologize, others will need you to show your unhappiness. Whichever way it swings, a mature man. . . A real Man, will know what steps to take. Some steps will just be routine, others will have to be drastic. . . but one will have to be taken.

In all the shower of praise, we all forget one man who again and again gives an outstanding performance. . . Alexander Hleb was absolutely magnificent! he scored 2 and laid those lovely passes for theo walcott's goals, he also laid the pass for Fabregas's goal!

I think we need to recognise him and his contributions more. . . I still think he is arsenal's best at the moment, when u look at work rate and team effort!

1 to 5 works well for me, others. . . Maybe, but nice piece all the same

First goal was from the fabulous fabregas.

I think the others have been trying to set theo walcott up to score all day but the very first clear chance he got, he satisfied the trust placed in him. . .  and the british public too

I'm pleased with this team, anyone who says there is nothing in this team does so at their own peril. The goals just come from every angle, look at Ebue oh! trying to score from what? 40 yards? and the keeper just stands and admires a very near miss!

The capability of this team is impressive. My only reservation about liverpool is cos its at anfield but u cant rule us out of that game still, it most likely gunner be another good old win, or at worst a draw!

Right from uni days, some peeps've wanting to mend me cos of my propensity to give polite insults. . . u know like, insulting u in such a way that u actually need to think deeply to recognise it was an insult! Service with a smile. . . Thats what i used to call it cos even as i dished it out, i had a wry smile at the corner of my lips

It nearly got me killed sha, but it has never been easy to con a conman, so the moment i sensed the trouble. . . I took drastic steps to correct the situation.

I don't know too much about women, but i know everything about my girlfriend thoniaslim. I bet she knows everything about me too. . . and quite frankly, thats how a relationship should be

My opinion:

This is all crap talk

Irrespective of who jilts who, the hurt is evenly spread. Its quite childish to think that if u end it now, u'll not hurt. . . if u truly have an aorta of love for him/her, u will hurt like hell.
Love has got its mind games, and some peeps know how to play the game, and when they do this, they target hurting their ex's feelings. . . in some cases they succeed, but it will depend on the mindset of the ex in question.

It will make more sense to advice peeps to fix a relationship when they notice a change in their partners' behaviour, that is what i'll identify with as the truth. . . and Mature.

Love? on Nairaland? where did the omoekos and the islanders go to?

I wonder if anyone agrees with me about Alexander Hleb being the most hardworking and resourceful Arsenal player?

Its taken me many years of close monitoring and finally, Hleb is my man! the way he twists and turns to create space for himself, the way he picks a pass from nothing, the distance he covers on the pitch, the kind of tackles he takes without serious injury. . . I think he's outstanding.
I've watched games where he wasnt playing, and we definitely looked like someone was missing!
