Welp I've never been to the US, but I've followed some of the politics online.
So here is my gut feeling on the subject.

Would probably go for a third party if possible.
But I see Trump as the "devil I know" rather than the Democrats who were suppose to be the reasonable people decending into lunacy.
Of all the reasonable candidates that could easily beat Trump. Andrew Yang, Bernie Sanders they decided to go with Joe Biden whom based on a number of videos is showing signs of cognitive decline (old age) and would probably just become a puppet in office. And there is the identity politics stuff and babying of minorities from the left which is kinda annoying.

Another thing is even a liberal Muslim is rather relatively conservative therefore their views align more with the Republican views, except that the Republicans hate Muslim guts.
On the Abortion topic, I see abortion as morality wrong, but shouldn't be illegal. Things are never easily black and white as we would like to imagine. Same thing goes to the reason behind someone wanting an abortion.
On homosexuality, I like America for some of it's libertarian values, so I don't need to like it, as long as it doesn't interfere with my life, family, or work, I don't see a reason to care.


A malicious part of me wants Trump to win, so that I could see people loose their F*ing minds and watch the world burn. (But I won't listen to the dark thoughts)

On the subject of the word Omni, it means all and to be all something, you have to be all not the opposite thing.
So the use of Omni is wrong, so maybe a different word would need to be invented to describe having an attribute that's not mutually exclusive.

1) Did the Prophet buy and sell slaves? (according to Bukhari)

2) What is the justification for the prophet having more than 10 wives when 4 is the limit?

3) Early marriage in Islam- why is there no age of consent in Islam (14 year olds getting married)?

4) Why is there no hijab or niquaab for men?

5) Can it be explained why no islamic country is in the top 20 developed countries (HDI) in the world?

The weekend is almost over and I thought this thread would have generated a healthy debate. NL Islam for Muslims section is a shadow of its former self. I assumed Muslims, atheists, and other rationally inclined minds would have jumped on this thread by now engaging in some intellectual slugging. Based on the verse above, implication is that Qur'an was revealed to explain the past, present and the future. We will continue to understand and be able to explain some verses of Qur'an when future events unfolds. Some verses are active.
