Walkingkilo: It's so pathetic! I can boldly confirm to you that there are more than 5,000 cases of coronavirus in Lagos only. The ones NCDC reports are the ones they found and tested with the few tests they manage to carry out.. Lots of suspected coronavirus cases don't get tested. Like you, I doubt the numbers, but based on what you said, do you have probable facts to back it up? I'd really love to learn |

OluwasureGig: Hi nairalanders, I know the world is battling coronavirus and I probably shouldn't be talking about this at the moment but I could use your advice just incase we all survive this pandemic that has so bedeviled us.
I'm a young man in my mid-twenties and by this time last year I was broke and had a very poor account balance but by the Grace of God things are different now. My business is booming and I'm balling. Now I'm the type of guy that likes to look good and smell nice always, and this might just have proven to be my Achilles heel
It happens that there's this extremely beautiful girl I've been crushing on in church and I finally made my move this Sunday. We got talking and exchanged numbers. Now this girl is like my dream girl; she's very very beautiful facially, tall, has a fat ass, perky boobs, flat stomach and very straight legs. She basically looks like them models we see on IG
The problem is I asked her out and she said she can't date me because she thinks that I'm "too clean" and would therefore cheat on her as a result. I've tried all I can to make her change her perception but she is not coming along. Please what do I do or say to this girl to make her date and marry me because I've already sworn that she'll be my last bus stop in the dating world.
Please your advice will be duely appreciated. Thanks Use the reverse psych against her, it always works Find her friend and get close, very close then ignore her, she will autocorrect herself |

Apart from that, there are many things that needs to be stopped in nollywood.
This Igbo-yoruba collabo movies like wedding party needs to be stopped entirely.
Such movies doesn't promote anything but corrupts blood and encourages external marriages and infiltration of strange bloods.
I am yet to see thee importance of those movies to the society.
South Korea acts Korean movies
China acts Chinese movies same as India, Americans and the brits
Then why will here we will be corrupting our cultures with nonsense movies of no background.
Such movies should be discouraged seriously in Nollywood.
That collabo should end in interest of people's culture.
We have allowed petty directors destroy our culture because of one collabo.
You act movies with people you share cultural ties with to re invent the happenings of old.. What a tribalistic comment? |
Health › Re: Coronavirus: Indian Hindus Drinking Cow Urine To Prevent Disease by whizbee(m): 12:09am On Mar 16, 2020 |
nemesis8u: Cow urine has been in use since thousands of years for medicinal properties in ancient Indian Ayurvedic medicine. Same ancient Indian medical science whose 3000+ years old surgery ( rhinoplasty ) techniques was copied during WW1 by Western surgeons for repairing facial and body damage and practiced till date.
Cows urine had good anti microbial, germicidal, anti fungal properties among others. It can act as sanitizer. Though it needs to be processed before use as was done in ancient times.
Irony is while a section of Western media radicules use of cow urine as a medicine , in America cow's urine has been granted 2 patents for its medicinal properties as bioenhancer and antibiotics, antifungal, anticancer agent.
US patents are not granted out of thin air. It requires scientific proof.
And cows urine cannot cure corona virus , there is no clinical proof of it as of now . So basically those who r using it , are using it on the basis of believe . Their choice.
Some people prefer traditional medicine over modern medicine and therefore they use it . So what's the big deal. Those who want they will drink it , it's a free world.
Only 200 people out of total population of 1.4 billion people did this . And it's big news for Western media ? Seriously ?
Same Western media is silent when pastors are using prayers to cure corona virus in their own countries. A little bit self introspection will help them a lot and not end up on the other side of the bad joke.
Not too long ago same Western world used to make fun of yoga , now they cannot get over it. :
Also previously Western world used to make fun of Indian namaste , now the West is falling all over it.
Who knows someday in the future they might end up drinking cow urine by the gallons I love the way you lay down your points with facts... sense is not far from you |

Politics › Re: Stages In The Process Of Law Making In Nigeria by whizbee(m): 7:55am On Dec 14, 2019 |
BlackAfrican: The best legacy Buhari can leave behind in the fight against corruption is to put a machinery in place that will see to it that the death penalty for corrupt public officials is passed into law.
One way to ensure it gets support is to let everyone know that the law, when passed into law, won't be retroactive. That is, it will only apply to corrupt crimes committed from the day the bill is signed into law.
This is the best time to get this done because Buhari enjoys the support of the legislature this time, so I see no stumbling block.
If Buhari refuses to take the initiative, we as citizens can take it. Let's organise ourselves, raise funds, find and sponsor the bill through a willing legislator and put pressure on all elected legislators from our different localities to ensure this comes into law..
Let us organise ourselves. We youths are too disorganized and divided that's why we can't achieve anything other than making noise on sm and expecting the government to act.
If we organise ourselves we can pull this off. I'm ready to join the movement to see that this becomes a reality.
Like and share this post if you support the idea.
I'll contact all those who quote and share the post so we can plan how to get this done.
Thanks all. This is a welcome development |

I don't blame these senators, once it's time for action to disband these thoughtless buffoons, Nigerian youths will hide behind their keyboard, we are the architect of our own problems,
what stops our youth from storming the national assembly with peaceful protests against subjugation of our human rights
what stops us all from boycotting civil service?
what stops all religious outlet from preaching emancipation from political slavery?
How can a country of over 180 million Nigerians not ask just 105 senators to do their bidding?
but I've lived and learnt, Nigerians are selfish as long as it doesn't affect them
We are all in for the Long haul unless we stand together as a nation, over fifty years of Independence and we're getting worse everyday...
We are not ready, let the suffering continue |
