TheSixthSense:
Part 2: Road to Redemption

That I didn’t believe in God anymore didn’t make me a ‘moral' person, it wasn’t even like I was man of good ‘moral’ standing before I became an atheist but I would easily pass as one, probably from my appearance and the way I speak. But I was lonely - I’m still sort of a loner now but I certainly know the difference - an alcoholic - pretty normal in Nigeria now so we don’t see it as a problem, smoked heavily, had a heart filled with darkness but for the sake of anonymity I leave out the rest.

I also opened up to a lot of mystical beliefs, there had to be a bit of truth in everything other than christianity, Zodiac, psychic reading, law of attraction, New age positive thinking, and zen relaxation. Simply put, I was miles from being a good/nice guy, so becoming an atheist didn’t necessarily give me a pass to live as I please because I don’t think I had much of a conscience at that point-, it was for reasons I mentioned in part 1. But it actually created more room, and so I could clear out the remaining bit of conscience left, without premeditation, I would often argue against religion being the basis for morality like Richard Dawkins would, saying that morality isn’t from God/religion rather it’s by living by the ‘golden rule’ ‘do unto others what you would to yourself’

Anyway, my road to redemption started after I watched the movie 'The Conjuring’ not that I am a movie person but what sparked my interest was that it was based on a true story. So I got the book about the protagonists in the movie 'The Demonologist: The Extraordinary Career of Ed and Loraine Warren.’ It describes the preternatural the way it can be understood by non-religious people, because it isn’t a religious book in itself. It explains the phenomena from personal experiences as demonologists (study of spirits), and I found that they keep an occult museum where they display paraphernalia such as photos, recordings, and objects from every case, for exhibition. Some quotes from the book: ‘Some of the objects and amulets stored are so negatively ‘charged’ that just by holding one of the items it is possible to provoke the original spirit to manifest or cause possession to occur instantly’ ‘there is the long black spike a satanic witch used long ago to murder her newborn infant as a sacrifice to the devil' also skulls as chalices for drinking blood etc were being kept in the museum. Now, I didn’t need to go to the museum to find out if they were true or not, I was just utterly disgusted by even reading about them.

In fact, if you get to that point in the book, you would have gotten a vivid picture of the wickedness and darkness people get involved with. How people can in the convenience of their bedroom summon/invoke all the evil in the world by simple rituals or simply attract them in ignorance by their actions. So that when you hear a christian say God said ‘The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked’ you cannot help but agree in your unbelief.

Anyway, having read and seen all that, I realised I had no spirit in me and had being in denial all along, without even knowing. And oh how vulnerable I was to the whims of the wicked. It was obvious that living in denial does not disprove anything but rather keeps one uninformed - but I love being informed- and unprepared if/when one encounters the phenomenon being denied and in the case of these demonic spirits, vulnerable. But it also makes you reflect too, because it also explains how people invite these unclean spirits sometimes from seemingly benign habits.

Now, the book doesn’t tell you to accept Jesus or anything like that, it just advises to steer clear of Ouija boards, spell books, necromancers, and objects you don’t understand. But it affirmed the power of the name of Jesus Christ and God, prayer and religious objects as the only things that overcome the most evil of these inhuman spirits.

Excerpts: “...A particularly striking aspect to demoniacal phenomena is that the demonic spirit is actually moved to violence when exposed to religious articles, the recitation of prayers, or reference to God or Jesus Christ…the subject is not religious because I say it is or as I may want to believe, it is religious because that’s the only power that it - the demonic spirit - responds to. People might not believe in God but these spirits do…there is simply no secular - that is, no non-religious - explanation for these spirits' existence.”

Having realised my spiritlessness, even if I did, I certainly wasn’t using it at all. So, I wrote a simple sincere letter to God, funny but I did, asking for my spirit to be resurrected then I shoved it somewhere and forgot about it. I thought, just as conveniently as some people would summon spirits of darkness and control them to do what they want, seeking the more powerful God in your convenience would be better, plus I am sure He wouldn’t ask for blood rituals and the sorts. He is not like that

Now, I have read quite a number of books in my life, but for some reason I kept having a strong gut feeling, for the first time in decades, that it wasn’t a coincidence that I was reading the book at the time. So, I re-downloaded the bible app, I deleted when I became an atheist, on my phone - there has to be immense power in it, it isn’t all fairy tales. However, I didn’t know which book or chapter to open to. But for some reason Psalm 51 crossed my mind. And behold:

“Purge me with Hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, then sinners would be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.”Ps 51:7-14

I read it over and over again. 'Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit’ resonated so much in me. It was as if a different part of me had come alive. I could feel repentance in my spirit. I felt sorry. And in my heart I said Lord, I knew You as a child, what have I done with my life? what did I get involved in? And if there is anything to go by from the book I read is that I had opened portals from my actions. Oh! hide Your face from my sins and blot out my iniquities.

Then, I went on youtube and saw a video about a man, John Ramires I think, who was so deep in the occult that later got saved by Jesus Christ. You know youtube, so I watched a series of dead-people-coming-back-to-life videos, but one striking one was that of Ian McCormack (a former atheist who repented at the point of death) died went to heaven, saw the glory of Jesus, and returned to life in the morgue.

A common observation about these videos, is that while they may describe hell as a horrible place of eternal torment sorrow, fear and death, when they try describe the glory of Jesus Christ, they cry in awe for lack of words to describe the glory, joy, peace and love associated with it even after many years of their return to life. I don’t know about you, but when I see men especially ones who had perpetrated so much evil cry when trying to describe the glory of Jesus, you know that is no joke. Prior to this, I never knew a lot of people had died and returned (NDEs, you may call it) from many countries. If you doubt someone’s experience in Australia maybe you should try Nigeria. Atheists, muslims, pagans all tell of Jesus, hell and heaven. They are not all crazy I would believe.

So, I prayed with the CBN guys on Youtube, but I thought that wasn’t real enough, I need to have witnesses like in an actual altar call. So I prayed to God asking for a church to go to because the only ones I knew were one of those I earlier described. But at that point I would have gone to one of those anyway, as long as I can get to know Jesus. Then, the next day, on my way to the market to get stuff, I got handed a flyer. It was an invitation for a revival service, so I decided to go. I found it was a small church, hard to find even and in my utmost religiosity, I don’t think I would have found it.

Now, prior to this, I had been a lot of churches from catholic, anglican, methodist, lutheran, baptist, to numerous pentecostals because I had convinced myself that they were simply social gatherings anyway, by the way these ‘christians’ behave. But this one was different, from the moment I stepped in, I was more welcome than any other I had previously been in. But that wasn’t the highlight, it was the sermon. It was as direct as spear, it was a message for me and it was as if the preacher knew I was going be there. Also two verses from scripture I knew as a child kept coming to my mind John 8:32 ’Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free’ and John 8:36 ’So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.’ Then there was an altar call, it was my moment, and I answered.

** Note, I am not endorsing my church, saying that it is better than yours, maybe God led me there because of how suitable it would be for my spiritual growth. But I am only saying Jesus is calling those who want an experience with Him. I follow Jesus not my pastor or my church, but my pastor and church provide encouragement and there I listen to the word of God. I remember I always used to pray ‘Lord, I am not interested in religion, I just want to know You'

What do I have to lose if I die and find that there is no God?

Ridiculous, but let’s assume atheists are right for a second. I certainly wouldn't miss out on anything if I don’t drink, smoke, take drugs, become sexually immoral, worship idols, get oppressed or tormented by demons, get a divorce, live in bondage by anything under heaven, live in depression, live in fear, feel alone, look for love in people (Jesus is love, we have so much to share), live without peace or joy or love, live without bitterness, hate, anger or live without fortitude to persevere through trials and temptations for the rest of my life.

But what do you(non-believer) have to lose if I am right about God?

Yup, you guessed right.

The truth is heaven and hell are real and are for eternity - I would say, in a dimension not defined by time or space. Eternal life is one with Jesus and He is the source and giver of it. Like winner01 rightly mentioned, the things you think are enjoyment are actually killing you but you won’t know until God gives you His Spirit when you become born again and as soon as you start walking in the Spirit you will discern these things and probably do more than I am doing right now.

The bible says if you are not for Jesus you are against Him. And how would it feel to know you are not so different from the witch that killed her newborn, other than she probably knew she was anti-Christ, but you atheists and agnostics probably don’t know or refuse to know.

Remember, being in denial does not disprove anything, it only leaves you unprepared, uninformed, and even vulnerable to what is being denied…and no one denies death I would believe.

The answers you seek are on your smart phone. Look all over the internet, you won’t find evidence as theses or journal publications, but you certainly would find many many experiences. We have free will, so you have to choose.

Experience supersedes logic or argument any day. So, just before you dissect and critique my testimony. You may want to first ask yourself why you may be always so quick to rebut someone else’s experience before you ask the question.

Another thing, I have been an atheist, and to be honest, there’s nothing to it other than you look intelligent to other dissidents, but it is hollow, something missing, there is a void, you may not know now until you switch to the Lord’s side. Also, when you get faced with challenges and storms of life it is your spirit that fights, not your intelligence.

A UCB physics professor and former atheist, now in Christ because he saw hell and cried out to Jesus to save him, said there is a part of all of us that appeals to God. I’ve been there, I would have denied it then, but I know it’s true. Very true.

Please invite Jesus today with sincerity in heart. He is the Living God and He is Spirit. He is calling you, He is saying 'Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink and you will thirst no more.'
You may start by saying a sincere prayer like ‘Jesus I do not want to be condemned for eternity after I die, please save me’ and I believe your redemption is already on the way because He knows, like you would when you really mean it. And it is His will that you should not perish but come to repentance(2 Peter 3:9)

For those that do not see reason to continue the routine of religion or being religious and are looking for atheistic reasons to leave, Don’t! please don’t. Don’t give up on God. Did you know that it was the religious people that killed Jesus? although they knew all the letters and prophecies of the law and routines of the synagogue, they still didn’t recognise the Messiah, they even accused Him of working for the devil. It’s worse today, so many religious, but not many have experienced Jesus because they have made god for themselves, the one they can tame, the one that gives them all they want that lets them live how they like in the lusts of their flesh. Isn’t it funny how suddenly, God doesn’t have standards from our brand of christianity? The Holy and Righteous God.

But don’t be discouraged, look beyond the charade, He is calling, He says 'Seek and you will find'. Draw near to God and He will to you...(James 4:3) and your life will never remain the same. Taste and see that the Lord is good(Ps 34:cool.

Jesus is Lord!

There should be a Part 3: My Jesus Experience: The Difference

God bless you.

TheSixthSense:
This is my story. It is quite long but quite interesting. I hope to do in 2 parts. Please read

I was baptised, as a child, in an anglican church, had a couple of years as a pentecostal then as soon as I became a teenager, attending church became optional. I only went if I really had to, but there was no compulsion. Attendance waned to almost zero as time passed. But I didn't discard my belief in God, and if I had to pray I would in Jesus’ name. Besides, how could there not be a god? when you’re never too far away to hear spooky stories from boarding school students, villagers, and people with haunting experiences; and if you, by any chance, didn’t, there was always a Nigerian movie to bring it all to your living room.

Going further, with the amount of information accessible on the internet, I started having questions about christianity, especially about the type common in Nigeria, although I wasn’t really keen on seeking for answers. But, one thing was that I became increasingly irritated by preachers living in opulence, using bullet proof cars, body guards, and jets, like pop stars while they had many poor and struggling people in their congregation, especially when I found that most of these preachers owned virtually nothing when they had started.

Didn’t the european missionaries who brought christianity, free education, healthcare and the bible - the same one we use till this day - leave the comfort of their countries, homes and families risking persecution and death for what they believed? I thought. Certainly, this couldn’t be the same Jesus, these preachers and their followers become so excited talking about. The Jesus I knew as a child from my A&M hymn book was a friend to the poor, meek and lowly; and I doubted if He were physically present, He would be the one in Armani suits using the most sophisticated gadgets. He certainly wouldn't live and act like these preachers did.

For this reason, I preferred devout muslims - not that I ever considered becoming one but because they were principled, kind and generally nicer in my experience - to the christian counterparts.

As a young lad predisposed to politics, psychology, science, and real hip hop -‘real recognise real.' I became savvy with Google search for almost every question that crossed my mind - and being a thoughtful person, I usually had a lot about everything. So, in 2014, while following the Israeli-Hamas conflict on the news - you didn’t have to watch the news for long to know about it because there were only two issues at the time and the other was the missing MH-370 - seeing the killing of people, including children by air strikes - although the Israeli claimed that they always fired warning strikes to allow for evacuation before actual decimation of targets-. However, I vividly remember an interview of a doctor, after a bombing of a UN reserved hospital by the Israeli forces, absolutely furious at the damage and injuries inflicted by the strike and how he said “...this is a hospital for God’s sake.”

I felt so much empathy for the doctor and the injured, thus, a barrage of questions started coming into my mind. I wondered if this Israel is the same one talked about in the Bible, If God supports this country, regardless, because they are His people, and from a song, or bible knowledge as a child, we were told Saul killed thousands and David killed tens of thousands: I wondered if these people killed were real people, I wondered which tribe they would be if they still exist in present day; and having those images in my mind, I wondered how God could support the murder of thousands by David because he loved God and is described as ‘a man after God’s heart.’

So, I got curious, I started my search with ‘How many people did King David kill?’ coupled with other search leads, I came across a book “God’s killings in the Bible” by Steve Wells - it counts the number of people God killed directly, and indirectly as recorded in the Bible - and bought it. To cut the long story, I didn’t finish reading the book before I became entirely uninterested in christianity. I no longer wanted to be identified with this ‘God’ that kills and supports the killings of the innocent.

However, I didn’t become an atheist after that, not yet. I only didn't want to be identified as a christian or be associated with it. I also looked up arguments, watched videos and got books from some of the most vocal atheists like Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss. Highly intelligent scientists although they’ve become more known for atheism than science. And as a scientist myself, I was impressed by their knowledge and arguments, and it only made science more desirable and fascinating to me. I am one of them, I would like to think.
Something noteworthy is that the more you know about science, you almost know evolution isn’t even an argument, you would feel stupid if you argued for creation, as an undergraduate, maybe you would get a pass, but afterwards No, just no. In fact, having faith or being religious only limits what you can achieve in the sciences. Especially with the recent discovery of the Higgs boson, the ‘God particle’ described by a scientist as ‘another nail in the coffin of religion.'

Anyway, when I returned to Nigeria, I noticed the proliferation of churches in every space like a malignant tumour, with competing ubiquitous billboards of ‘this and that’ ministry with smiling faces of pastors and their wives at every junction. Also those of politicians saying ‘God has given me the divine mandate' 'God has blessed,' 'God has appointed,' 'Power is from God’ ‘the voice of the people is the voice of God’ even by the ones in the occult, that were prayed against the previous year had turned around to become favourites of the same people. Worse still, they even get more celebrated in these churches.

Another thing I noticed was that this ‘christianity' despised the poor, that my childhood Jesus loves. I could remember in my younger days, churches used to offer hope, especially to the poor and downtrodden, but not these ones, they not only oppress the poor but also persuade them to rejoice with their pastors in their greed - I’m sure they would call it inspiration/motivation for semantics. They would tell them that it is their fault they are not rich because 'poverty is a curse’ ‘Jesus was very rich on earth’ 'If Noah wasn’t rich how did he build the ark?’ ’No faith’ ‘salt of the earth’ ‘...everything would be added on you’ and these come from same people that ask their congregation for money for every project they can think about, even for their maintenance.

The same people who had nothing and depended (often depends) on the benevolence of members to start and maintain their churches would after some time miraculously have wealth and finance tips to share - always a triangle of ‘faith, sowing seeds, and tithing’ and trust they don’t tell those without curse-laden threats attached ‘You invoke curses on yourself if you don’t pay/give...’ ‘you rob God’ ‘You can never reap if you don’t sow’ ‘You will become poor if you don’t give to God’ and ‘You are joking with your future/life if you don’t give.’ Thus, creating a society of avarice and impatience in the hearts, even among people with no skill or and qualifications, little if any. 'Everybody wan hammer', even the ones that only know a few bible verses and every detail about their pastor’s rag to riches story.

I often asked, even if this was God - because these guys often didn’t go without their wonder works that were usually propagated by their members - is it moral for someone who always asks for, not borrow, money for everything s/he is about to do to live in ostentatious opulence, brazenly up in your face? I know every nigerian is familiar with the derogatory term ‘borrow-pose’ and that’s even for borrowing.

Witnessing all these, I got even more incensed, I would have to lose a lot of brain cells to join this madness. Isn’t this why we are regressive in our development as a people and as a nation? There had to be no god, if not, why hadn’t he struck these people like described in countless occasions in the bible. There has to be no god, even the politicians knew it and they use it as tools to garner support in spite of the evil and wickedness they inflict in our society. There is no god.

I couldn’t bear all the madness anymore, better to use my time for sleeping than pray to this god that doesn’t help anyone except these preachers. So I quit and became an atheist, but remained informed about my decision.

Then came the stigma, once you say 'I don’t believe in God’ it strikes fear in almost every christian in Nigeria. They don’t ask you why, they never even, they fear you more than a known murderer and thief. In fact, keep saying that and you would find you have no friends left. Some would invite you to church, most times they don’t even know why they are going themselves, can’t even articulate what they believe in, you ask even basic questions about their faith and they would be unable to answer, but they get very uncomfortable if you refuse to go to church with them. Convince me, and I would go but no, they won’t even try, they just want you to follow them like sheep.

One thing I can take away from Steve Wells book is that most christians haven’t read the whole Bible - although he thinks, like many atheists, that if they actually do they would become atheists themselves after they find out about all the violence, ‘immorality’ and prejudice that is never preached about in sermons.- In Nigeria, it’s even worse because we don’t read at all. Probably, why many times anything that a pastor says is ‘it is written' and final, just about anything.

God bless you for the bold step and the courage you have taken to serve God Almighty, God will always see you through in Jesus Wonderful Name Amen.

I just don't understand why people celebrate and rejoice when a child is born but mourn, cry, grieve, some even curse God when someone dies.
I mean, God is the one who gives and takes away life right?
So why celebrate one and despise the other.
Precious is it in the eyes of Lord for the death of his saints.

Death is a liberation from this enslavement called Earth

Singing this world is not my home /own whatever.

For the believer they rejoice when a saint goes home. but for those who are not save is to pity for them.

Memesticmeme:
Ok it all started when I was little, I was raised by a Muslim father who later got a divorce from my mum and since I was a mum's pet i moved out with her,she happen to be a Christian (cele) but when we moved out and got to our new place we couldn't find a cele church around so we attended a new generation church at that time. After losing my beloved mother just before my admission into the university I became a serious Christian in my 100 level and soon became an exco in the campus fellowship in my 200 level but being too churchy soon got me into trouble with my very low 3rd class cgpa so in 300 level I dumped the fellowship and was able to move my gpa to 3rd class upper (lol). In my finals, I got a house off campus and moved in with a roommate who was once a Christian and now an atheist. We would argue for long hours about religion and God and I soon got to find out that sometimes the dude was right about both. Soon I managed to graduate (with a 2:2 of course) and soon realized I could have done better if not for my churchy attitude during my early years as an undergraduate. I'd secretly blame myself and the God I served while on campus for my failure. Now in 2 days time I'd be 20 years of age and I'm almost through with my NYSC programme next month and I'm not sure if I believe in God anymore Note I still go to church most time when I'm under compulsion to go or I just feel like. I had some events that I feel might have triggered this new belief system of mine e.g:

I lost my mum and five years after that I lost dad too ( lost them both at critical points in my life. I lost mum when I was barely in ss3 at age 14 and dad a month to my convocation ate age 19.)

I always feel like if I hadn't been churchy I know I would have graduated with at least a 2:1 cos it took me 3 semesters to take my results from 3rd class to 2:2.

I saw an article on fp today about one Taiwo Gold who recently denounced Islam and is now an atheist and trust me I see reasons with what the dude said cos I have most of those things in mind too and I had always talked and argued about them with my atheist roommate in school.

Christians say Jesus is the way and Muslims will end in hell and Muslims say Allah's got no son just servants and Christians should brace themselves for janamah (pardon my spelling but the traslation is HELL) so where does that live the sangho and eledumare worshipers?

Those are the few and major events that I think might have got me in this confused state of mine. Please help me out. Is there God Which way is the way? Is there Hell?? Is there an afterlife?? Please answer this questions with proofs please. ( please ignore the errors in this article) mod please help me ooooo

I understand your feelings both what I want you to know is there is God and if you believe and serve God through Our Lord Jesus Christ with sincerity of hearth, Worship him in truth and in Spirit. You smile at the end. Don't let friends deceive you.

John 1:1 (Reads) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So there is God, also read the following Bible verse about hell and heaven.

Romance / Re: How I Lost 6,000 Naira To A 19 Year-old Girl Yesterday by whoisuche: 3:10pm On Aug 15, 2016
TheLastIdiot:
Nigerian girls are not smiling o, even in this harsh economic situation angry

Yesterday being Saturday, i decided to hang out a while. I was sipping my cold goldberg peacefully at one of the joints in town when my phone rang, saw it was a flash and decided to call back to knw who flashed me since I didn't save d number. I got to knw it was a girl I met a week ago, Jennifer, a student of Uniben as she claimed (because I've strong doubt now). She asked me where I was and i told her the place, giving her description. In less than 40 mins she appeared on a keke. I paid for her fare and asked her what she wuld like to have. She requested for the biggest size of the peppered fish that was available, with cabbage and other spicy stuffs (3, 500 naira). She also asked for 2 bottles of Snap drinks (500 naira) i come look am with one kain bad eye, when she talk that one. I don vex by that time.

Nonetheless, I didn't bother much because I thought both of us wuld still be the ones to enjoy the delicious fish. I started realizing the scam when she insisted that she want to take the fish home so that her friends culd share with her, saying they're "friends for life" angry E come be like say na film i dey watch. My eyes come dey turn me up and down because Naija economy no get joy now.

What was on my mind now was to make her pay for her greed in the bedroom because the waitress clearly stated that there were other cheaper ones but she displayed greed by going for the pocket-wrecker package!

I was now thinking of how to convince her to sleep over at my house since it's weekend. i gathered courage and made the request. To my greatest surprise, she didn't object but said she wuld get to her house first and drop the fish for her friends. My adrenaline was high! I stopped the nearest keke after footing the bills. She was directing the keke rider. we got to a street and she asked the keke rider to stop in front of a house, she requested that I give her 2k to sort out some things with her friends. I didn't hesitate since she wuld be sleeping at my place. She went into the building and that was the end! I waited for long, by then, the keke man was getting worried. I went into the building and discovered that the fence at the back of the compound had fallen. I met a young man washing clothes who told me she saw the girl entering the next street through the building. When I told him that she's the one I've bin waiting for, he told me that people normally pass through the compound to the next street, that it's a short-cut road!

Each time I call her line and the other line she flashed me with, different girls keep picking the calls, telling me that is it because of my small money that I'm disturbing their lines! I now feel she belongs to a cartel of runs girls who will stop at nothing to milk any hustling guy dry. I've made a resolution that any day I see her anywhere as far as we are both in this country, I'll make sure she vomits my 6k in cash or kind! No be 4 dis harsh economy o!

My brother you need to be closer to God and live a righteous life and be free from canal mind.

Religion / Re: Where Was God Before He Created Heaven And Earth? by whoisuche: 2:24pm On Aug 09, 2016
Software202:

This has been a question that keeps pondering my mind ever since I know that Heaven and Earth were created by God. It has been a question even some spiritual men of God find it difficult to answer. Many has said; that is not a question to deal with because ‘You cannot tell the history of your creator’. That is very true, but I tell you today that you can tell the history of your creator 'if you here the story from the right source (Holy Spirit).

Tracing it back from the Holy Book: [Gen 1:1] – “In The beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”. The book of Genesis Chapter 1 and 2 made us understand how creatures were made by God, both living and non-living. “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” – John 1:3 [NKJV].

This was a very great insight from the Book of John, it made it known to us that everything in heaven and on earth, including the heaven and the earth, were created by the Almighty God. “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind...” The mystifying words from John 1:3 is what people kept puzzling till today. Some would even argue it is not true because we are now in the Technology evolution, massive developments have been introduced: ranging from the production of intelligent computers, smartphones, robotic devices, electronic gadgets and more. – Question: How then are these things made by God? – That’s a very good question to tackle with. Remember that this saying is very correct, just that we need some understanding to agree with it, understanding that sometimes needs that interference of the Holy Spirit to get.

God made man in his own image [Gen1:27], and the fact is that: all these artificial inventions were made by man. Technology as so called doesn’t arrive at once, it is based on building principles upon existing principles. Abacus was made around 500 B.C – Blaise Pascal invented the first programmatic mechanical calculator (built on the theory of Abacus), decades later, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz came up with a similar but slightly advanced machine. Technology is gradually advancing till this day. No one is the climax of knowledge except the Almighty God. God is the best psychologist, philosopher, technologist and philanthropist. No technology was made in his absence. He contributed to it all! He gives us the brain to do them, the natural resources we use – No Technology was made in the absence of natural resource, without him nothing is possible, without God nothing was made; even men were created by God and without the existence of men, there will be no existence of TECHNOLOGY from men. Question Answered..

Where Was God Before The Heaven and Earth Were Created?
The true answer to this question can be found in the Holy Bible. I can figure out two occurrences in the Bible that points out where God was before he created heaven and earth. These passages are not strange to a good Bible reader, just that you don’t really know they are giving you a golden answer to this great question.

Thank God I was opportune to sit under the Bible Lecture of a great Man of God Prophet Agbekeloluwa Falola, who taught us with the Topic 'Where Was God Before He Created Heaven and Earth?'. The question baffles our mind, he asked many of us, he even said he promised us a gift if we get the answer, but no one was on the way that day, he explains to us as directed by the Holy Spirit and everyone felt like we won a promo! If this has been a question that baffles your mind also, stay calm! The answer is here.

The book of Gen 1:8 made it known to me that there are two types of heavens – “And God called the firmament Heaven”. The firmament is one heaven, the second one, which is mostly referred to as heaven is the Kingdom of God – the eternity. Eternity as we Christians know; is a place to spend our eternal life. It is a place prepared for the holy ones, those that fight through the mysteries of this world and make it through!

So where does God stay? – Oh! Dear reader, this is a question I have answered in the previous paragraph but you are not conscious to know. Don’t worry I believe reading through this paragraph will give you a clear understanding of God’s abode. Now get rid of your Bible and open to: [Proverb 8:22] 22. “The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
23. “I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning or ever the earth was.
24. “When there were no depths , I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
26. “Before the mountains were settled, before the heals was I brought forth.”

From the 23rd verse, the answer was revealed: everlasting. Everlasting is however also called “Eternity”. That is the place of our God Almighty.

God lives in eternity. Eternity is where he has prepared for us to dwell. That was why he sent his only son Jesus Christ [John 3:16] to die for our sins, sanctify us and save the lives of we sinners. Jesus Christ himself confirmed it in John 14:2. The eternity is the most wonderful place ever, it is an everlasting residence. Everything there is different from the Earth’s. The most amazing fact about it is that: It has no Day or Night, no death, no Sleep, living happily forever, the glory of God shall be the light of everywhere in the eternity.

One more message to note: Not everyone will qualify to dwell with God in the eternity, only those that do the will of God. Those that accept Jesus Christ as their lord and personal saviour – the holy ones in short. Sin cannot take you there, you must be free from all your sins.

You can also be part of this wonderful opportunity. Yes you can! God loves you and wants to you to change your ways for good. Recite this if you are ready to dwell in eternity. "I hereby agree that I am a sinner, and that no sinner will receive your favour. – I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Lord Jesus, I want you to come and take over my life. Lead me through the way to eternity, teach me your ways and let me be counted worthy” – Amen.

Family / Re: Is Bride Price Necessary After All These? by whoisuche: 3:05pm On Aug 05, 2016
Oloniyan:
Why She Does Not Deserve That Bride Price.

Let me start by saying I have a number of female friends -platonic friendship, I mean - with different shapes and shades. Some I grew up together with, while others, I met through different avenues like the media, school et all - just like every other guy out there. As mature ladies, almost all of them have had their 'fair' share of relationships with different experiences that, if only they could add it to their CVs, would qualify them as 'veterans' on the 'job'.

From what I have seen, and from what they have told me, many guys have dumped them, and they have dumped many guys. A number of them have had up to 10 boyfriends/sexual partners, some have had much less or much.

Virtually all are in their early 20s. The very bold ones among them have described their sexual experiences which sometimes include oral (cunnilingus and MouthAction) and even anal sex. Some have even had to terminated one or two pregnancies for guys who later dumped them or in some cases, who they later dumped.

Yours truly, each time they tell me this, my body recoils in disgust. I wish I could help it. But oftentimes I can't but begin to imagine the sexual act: how the guy handles her the way he pleases, insert his hand-no matter how filthy- into even the most intimate place in her body , twists and turns her to mimic a dog, a monkey etc ,while she moans away..............And this is not 1 guy, not 2 and sometimes, not 10!

From what I have seen, It seems to me my friends (the girls) are always 'on heat'. Because as soon as a guy dumps them, they jump at another, and the 'sexual circuit' is never broken.

The funny thing is, my friends have not done anything unusual , because that is what most girls do these days. It has become a norm, not an exception! Well, Its a modern world-at least , that is what they say- and I seem to be outdated in the way I feel about them. But I think they would also agree with me that we should forgo the ERA OF BRIDE PRICE, because they don't deserve it!

Why do I have to pay for what some guys have had for free?!Why do I have to pay over a girl whose private parts still drip of the Fluid of other guys?! No tell me, why do I have to pay over a girl who has carried and aborted pregnancies for some other guys who had her with little or nothing?!

Fine, I know a woman has much more to offer than sex in marriage. But she has definitely reduced her value with those sexual escapades. All a man lives for is EGO and self esteem. She has denied me that EGO and pride over her, at least, not when many other guys out there know the exact locations of the scars and birth marks in her private parts............and of course her 'ringtones'!

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. If one begin to imagine the past you cannot go forward. No one is justify not only by sexual sin, but other sin. May God help us. Amen.

Nairalanders, this very topic brought some arguments between me and my friends. I need your comments on the post 'Is it right to pray before having sex with your Boyfriend/Girlfriend?' Especially if she/he is to spend a night with you. Should one pray for God's protection through the night. And equally forgiveness of sin before the night sleep of which sex will be involved?

Read Gal 5: 19-22. God warn us about fornication. Except you are marries you can meet your wife after praying or even before praying.

Donald3d:
If you are a fresher this topic is especially for you, and every other person , i just had to create this article , read on .....
I am not happy when people die ,with the recent killings and harassments and beatings in schools, i decided to write this. This topic is something i am really scared writing (i had to commit my self into Gods hands writing this and seek HIS guidance) after seeing some people showing themselves here on Nairaland i have to be afraid na grin grin grin grin

DISCLAIMER:
I am not a cultist ,never was , and by God's grace and with His help never would be ,i am not claiming to know it all or claiming to have had first hand experience with cultists, for the purpose of this article anywhere you see "big boys" or "big girls" i am referring to cultists so we dont repeat the word all the time.I would also attempt to be a bit funny to ease off the tension of reading a scary and sensitive article. Its quite long , but just be patient till the end , you wont regret it.

INSPIRATION/SOURCE:
Intuition
Common sense
My mum: A big boy used to toast her when she was still doing sisi
My aunt: A big boy used to toast her too
My Guidiance counsellor(In mayflower school ikenne), he is blind (It was rumored that he was a cultist and he had his eyes plucked out(i dont know how true the story is)
The HolySpirit
Natural and God giving ability to understand Human Psychology and Sociology

RESPECT:
A big respect goes out to all the big boys and big girls here on Nairaland , this article is not to spite you, make you look bad ,its just to protect innocent people from getting into trouble .I am humble.

SHALL WE BEGIN

Mind what you wear/colors
This is very important , so many innocent people harrased because of this , while i cannot say for sure all the color combinations you should avoid i believe colors like yellow and yellow, yellow and black, red and black, white and red , should be avoided as much as possible .
Avoid handbands as much as you can , ok you can wear your church hand bands, but plain handbands just forget it , i dont care the color.
When you are wearing hoodies (i am a fan of these , i am a geek *winks* so i like forming Steve jobs and Mark Zuckerberg hehehehe) please always wear the ones with plain fabric , if possible without writings and drawings ,if you are wearing it at night please dont use the "cap" to cover your head
Please stop wearing clothes with skulls , goat head , eye of Horus ,"the all seeing eye on a pyramid" etc.
In general always scrutinize your outfits before wearing them
There was a day i mistakenly wore plain black round neck on plain black shorts in the night !!!!!because i was in a hurry to go out to buy something, omo that day i no get myself , come see as people they look me .
Please folks be careful !!!!!.

Face your book
If i had the opportunity of deleting every other point and leave one , i would choose this one as the ONE, when you face your book you would hardly have time for anything else that would result in meeting with this people,if you face you book squarely , you wont have time for galivanting, partying, unneccessary gatherings, flashy dressing etc. Please face your boooook ooo.

Be careful around "biggest" and "prettiest" girls
Few months ago during my ND in Elect elect , i was one of the top students , so girls would always flock around me from other departments to teach them and help them with academical problems ,including some biggest girls(not big girls ooo) and even the prettiest girls some guys have being trying to say common good morning to and she is following me a broke ass nigga grin and even lauging ahhhhhh because i am kind of funny too,dem go come dey take one kind eye look me egbami !!! , long story short dont stay around them for too long , let it be strictly business so they wont start eyeing you, thinking you are dating her. With my understanding of sociology i know "owning" a beautiful woman has a lot to do in boosting a mans ego , respect etc , so dont get in the way of someone trying to acquire or already owns that.

Stay away from people with coded languages and slangs
A lot of people use coded languages and slangs even innocently , but its better safe than sorry , you dont know who is who , please stay clear , especially when the use of such words and slangs become used too often especially among the same set of people .

Hand signals /Hand shakes
Some people also do this innocently , but please any hand shake different from normal handshakes (grabbing the hand and shaking ) please stop it !!!, you might be doing a particular cults secret handshake by mistake !!!! , some people like having special hand shakes with their besties like Spongbebob and Larry *winks* but pls be careful ooooo hmmmm.

Be humble,patient and respectful
If you see the way i dey respect people ehn !!! , till some people and my friends called me a weakling, because some people would vex me i would still be doing good boy , the point here is , when you respect people and you are very humble you would hardly fall into trouble ,if someone steps on you tell the person sorry sef, come smile join am grin

Group/Gathering of guys
This is a no no no for me , i know at times you want to hangout with your friends and discuss, talk about exams etc ,but once a conversation is taking too long, the group has similar or partially matching outfit or dress pattern, jejeli stay away from that place.

No party
I know some people would blast me for this , seriously just stay away from parties as much as possible ,especially night parties.

Dont walk at night
This is easy to understand na , because of the need for cover and not being noticed , they are likely to move at night , so try to limit your night movement so you dont bump into them.

Give unto ceaser what belongs to ceaser
If for any reason you bump into them or have issues with them one way or the other, please and please give them whatever they ask for , its better safe than sorry ,your life is worth more than everything you currently have .Even if it is your Ferrari give them o.

Dont underestimate anyone
You think its only muscular and strong eyed guys that can be big boys abi , that A+ student in your class, that handsome boy that cannot even hurt a fly , that 16 year old fresher , hmmm its like AIDS mehn , e no dey show for face , so dont underestimate anyone, assume everybody has a potential of being a big boy or girl , regardless of their religious or moral views .

Shut your mouth
If for some reasons you find out someone is a cultist , or bump into one , or someone whispers it to you , SHUT YOUR MOUTH about it,infact KEEP KWAYET !!!! , you would be doing more potential harm than good talking about the person to your friends ,even when people are talking about such person or people and what they are , quietly leave their midst , you dont know who is who !!!!.

Avoid Tattoos
I would not talk about the moral and spiritual significance /ramifications of this (a topic for another day),but please stay away , FLEE !!!! from tattoos, i am not saying anyone who has a tattoo is a cultist, but there are huge chances they are one , or would soon be one , so dont get yourself caught up in a web and self initiation.

Dont try to settle fights
I know this is hard ,i always try to mediate when people disagree, but when its getting heated up or turning physical , please leave there o, you dont know what is coming out of their pocket or bag next.

Stop entering peoples rooms unannounced
I know in hostels you get used to your friends and you just badge into their rooms anyhow, you better knock before entering and wait to be told to go in before attempting to, that is how a girl badged into a guys room that was toasting her , only to jam big boys having a meeting, she was lucky they were linient and let her go according to her.

Be descreet if you are a rich kid
I know what all you rich folks can do sometimes, money gets into your head and you start showing and flaunting wealth , please stop it , i am not saying you shouldnt enjoy your money but please, stop making it too obvious.you would attract big boys and girls to yourself by showing money too much.Rich folks are always important in any functioning society either the society at large or smaller societies.Stay discreet and safe oooo.

Stop entering bushes/Secluded areas/Abandoned or uncompleted buildings
Any thing that is intended to be discreet , would most likely be done somewhere that would give some privacy or complete secrecy,so if you are lover of nature like me and you like to poo poo in the bush and let the fresh air blow your butt hehehehe, be careful which bush you go to ooo, you can do it at the edge in a nylon and fling it inside the bush(God helps you if it lands on their head hahahahahaha) Just do it at the edge and cover with leaves jare .

Dont try to form activist
I know some things happen can make you want to protest and tell some people why they shouldnt do some things or abuse/trample on your rights bla bla bla , even the constitution said "you have right to life" so dont play with your life , just humble yourself , you have to let things go.

Dont fight
I know some people can be annoying sometimes , and they would really flare you up , but if you have followed the other advises above you would hardly get into a fight or something that would cause a fight,if it happens for a reason please just walk out of the scene before the fight starts.pls ooo.

Stay away from political positions in school
I know some people would also blast me for this , seriously stay away from political positions in school, you are likely to encounter them if you contest, if you believe you have a strong ambition and you are ready to take the risk no wahala, sha carry Jesus with you.

Stay indoors during HOT periods
When i say hot periods i mean periods such as ,election in school, exams, end of semester, registration etc , during this periods schools are usually very hot , so please stay indoors as much as possible.

SPECIFIC FOR GIRLS
Dont run your mouth too much
I know how some women can be sometimes , always running their mouths, there are big girls tooo ooo, no be only big boys dey, so respect yourself

Be soft on your toasters
If you want to put a guy off , for whatever reasons , please do it respectfully , and peacefully .I have heard of cases where girls are raped for refusing offers.

Dress modestly
Dressing in skimpy clothes would attract eyes to you ,so to avoid the bad ones, please be modest with your dressing .

Stop being a chop chop
Any where you see money , you enter , any boy that gives you , you collect , i advise you stop now oo, before you fall into the wrong hands

SPECIFIC FOR GUYS
Stop being a cassanova :
Some guys carry it like trophy on their head , by counting how many girls they have slept with and how many girlfriends they have , chances are you would end up getting involved with a girl that one "big boy" is toasting .

Breaking girls hearts
While this can happen for different reasons , but some guys do it on purpose as a result of the first one above , God help you if her brother is a "big boy".

Dont underestimate any girl
When any girl tells you i would show you,you better beg her and all her generations , i have heard of stituations where guys are raped (some mumu perverts would be happy),the kind of rape that would make them hospitalised and not being able to walk for weeks , be careful , if you like say "I am not understanding" ,you have been warned o

CONCLUSION
Love Jesus and Pray always
I decided to add this last to it would remain fresh in your minds , there is nothing as sweet as loving and following Jesus , its like Baygon spray to mosquitoes, it would always repel evil, even evil would respect you, you would have authority second to none , you would be ignored when evil comes ,always pray and seek Help from God, read your bible ,That book has more than enough wisdom .Have fellowship with the Holy Spirit frequently , He is the great director.

FINAL REMARKS
While there are situations where some of this tips may not be valid , some people can look so "Holy" and still pose danger. i believe if you follow this tips you would be safe ,if for any reason you have gotten into trouble already with a big boy or girl please beg them furiously and roll on the floor , dont form Jesus pikin and say you are James Bond and no harm can come to you,Jesus encourages us to be wise so be wise , and give unto ceaser what belongs to ceaser
If you have begged and they are not listening please just leave that area if possible forever, talk to your guidiance counsellor they might be able to plead on your behalf(Take note i said "talk to your guidiance counsellor", not "report to your guidiance counsellor" they are two different things)

In the words of my former principal at Mayflower School Ikenne , Mr JO Onadimuren "Be at the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing , so that -oju anu oni fo(so that the eye of mercy wont be broken)

Today's women and sex are like 5 and 6.

I don't support the harsh punishment but people need to understand the anger of the father...it's not the sex per se but HER BRINGING A MAN INTO HIS HOUSE. What stopped her from having the sex else where? I remember those days, we do this somewhere in the school premises or even church. Of all the paces to have sex and you chose your father's house? I'm sure it's not her first time, somebody must had tipped his father of this her behavior, and he gave her the benefit of the doubt but chose to lay ambush to get her red handed...lol!

Doing in Church the House of God is not proper abomination. But the father should pray for her and counsel her.

Topic: Seven Spots Satan Easily Entrap Christian Youths.

The words kept echoing and re-echoing in my ears as I decided to put up this thread: "How art the mighty fallen."

Wow! I've met a few who told me, "I still have time to return back to God. For now, lemmie enjoy my life." While listening to them in awe, the other guy says, "You are taking this Christian thing too far. It's not that serious." Hah! Mo gbe!

I shrug my shoulder in confidence knowing whom I've totally believed in. Today, most of them are lost in addiction and sin and are drowning. They try to still attend church and hide in a Service Unit but can a broken cistern hold water?

Thus saith the Lord, "Return oh youth from where thou has fallen. Sin and Holiness are two parallel lines that can never meet. Compromising to sin and asking for mercy would only succeed in stagnating your spiritual growing and make you inefficient for God to use.

Lemmie go headlong: "7 Spots Satan Easily Entrap Believing Brothers/ Sisters.

1. Lust of the Eyes.

Call it "Sin of the flesh" or whatever, it's a sin and drives the Holy Spirit very far from you. Is it possible to stop this? Yes. Be separated unto God. Until then, God can't really have His way in delivering you from this destructive habit. I'm not against you shining your eyes for a "good body" but be careful. There is more that meet the eyes.

2. Dirty Talking

If you are or aim to go higher in your walk with God, you'll cut yourself from those who make you engage in this. You can't claim to be a friend of the Holy God and still be a friend to the world. That's not possible. I hear you, "My friends talk dirty but I don't join them." Keep deceiving yourself!

3. Pornography/Masturbation

Not every one understands that "self servicing" means just same. It's a fact that this is a household habit among youths, even believers. You come in here and read, "Vaseline crew"/ "cucumbate" and you think it's normal! This is one of the strongest cord the devil has reserved for young folks. But you can be free. Every sickness has a remedy. Be born again, be on fire for God, separate yourself from those friends/materials, do the work of and evangelist. Desire more of God and you'll eventually lose taste for it.

4. Worldly Comparison

I doubt we still know we are pilgrims on earth. You are in the world but NOT OF the world. Look good but don't adopt the world's system of "looking good", if you know what I mean.

5. Bad Friends
Most young folks are into substance abuse and all because of friends. Bad friends are like Satan's incarnates orchestrated to send you to hell fire on a Range Rover. Keep away!

6. Premarital Sex/ Co-habitation

I could see someone scrolling and wishing this wasn't included but how? Get into our campuses and see what's happening! Sex is like giving out sweets. Sin is now sold for cheap but that doesn't change God's standard of holiness and eternity. ''The foundation of the Lord stands sure."

7. Time Spent On Our Phones and TV watching.

As okay as it may be, these things drain us spiritually. I believe they are little foxes that eats up the vine. Some things are not evil in themselves but they can bring evil. If you truly have the Holy Spirit, you'll know when you're wearing out as a result of these things. I believe they are what the Bible called "Weights". They hinder us from giving our best to God. They pull us back spiritually.

I don't know whom this message is for but I didn't do it out of presumption but as led. I pray that you become a useful tool in God's hands and not be flabby, baby Christian who is always sinning and asking for mercy. May you scale new heights spiritually. May you know the power of His resurrection. May you exercise authority over demon spirits and powers in the heavenlies because you know your authority as a believer. That's my prayer for everyone reading this. May you not be comfortable with just being a church worker in in your local assembly.

Peace!

Thanks for the information. I copied the seven spots.
Religion / Re: 5 Most Dangerous Consequences Of Disobeying GOD'S Word by whoisuche: 1:37pm On Jul 27, 2016
ADEWUMIMichael:
In our day and age, I have noticed,
and please correct me if I am wrong,
that some people including
Christians do not take God's
commands or doctrines very
seriously. Some people think that
when the new covenant, the
covenant of grace, came into effect,
God stopped caring about doctrine.
Some feel that doctrine is
insignificant in the new covenant,
only serving and loving God's people
are what's important today.

Brethren, I am a firm believer that
serving and loving God's people are
important. However, obeying God's
commands and doctrines are very
important as well. In fact, not only
are we going to be judged on our
service to others, but we will also be
judged on how faithful we are in
following the Word of God.

.
....

“As for the person who hears my
.words but does not keep them, I do
not judge him. For I did not come to
judge the world, but to save it.
There is a judge for the one who
rejects me and does not accept my
words; that very word which I spoke
will condemn him at the last
day" (Jn. 12:47, 48)....

We will be judged on how faithful we
are in following the Words of the
Lord...,,.
As you can tell, I am very
concerned with the laid back attitude
that some people have concerning
the doctrines and commandments of
God. Furthermore, I am also very
concerned how some people are
distorting the Scriptures to justify
their own desired beliefs. Some
people, instead of excepting and
obeying God's specific teaching on a
subject, manipulate or distort God's
Word to support their own human
views. The Bible on many occasions
warns us not to distort truth.

My friends, we need to see that it
is a very serious thing to distort
God's Word.

(1) According to ( Gal. 1:9 ), people who
distort the Word of God will be
eternally condemned.

(2) According to ( 2 Pet. 2:1-3; 3:16 ),
people who distort the Word of God
will bring upon themselves
destruction.

(3) We must never intentionally distort
the Word of God to satisfy our
human and worldly beliefs. If we do,
we are jeopardizing our souls.

(4) If we distort or disobey a
commandment of God, we commit
sin ( 1 Jn. 3:4 ). And you know, as
well as I know that sin is a very
serious offense.

(5) When God gives us a command,
we need to do our very best to
follow it. We need to start taking
God's commands more seriously. In
the Bible, when people disobeyed
God's instructions, they were
punished.

a.Just because Adam & Eve ate from
the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, which God told them not to,
death came to all people ( Gen. 3 ).

b. Just because Moses struck the rock
instead of speaking to it like God
told him too, he was not allowed to
enter the Promised Land ( Num.
20:8-12 ).

c. Just because Nadab & Abihu
offered an unauthorized fire while
worshipping God, fire came down
from the presence of the Lord and
consumed them ( Lev. 10:1, 2 ).

d. Just because Ananias & Sapphira
lied to the Holy Spirit and held back
some money from a land deal, they
both fell down and died ( Acts 5 ).

My dear brothers and sisters, we
must start taking the commandments
of God more seriously. Although we
are living in new covenant of grace,
we still must obey the Lord. We
must revere the word's of our
creator. We must obey the
commands that even seem
insignificant to us. I realize that
none of us are perfect, and on
occasions, we will make mistakes.
But we must do every thing we can
to faithfully obey the commands of
God and not distort His Word.

Thanks for this information. I copied the bible verses and the words.

Family / Re: I Told My Wife To Cut Her Hair by whoisuche: 12:17pm On Jun 01, 2016
God2man:
Nowadays, the world is fast becoming a terrible place to live. The enemy of the soul of a man, the devil, is out to pollute, defile and contaminate the lives of the children of men.

The hairdressing salon is another deadly strategy introduced by the old serpent, Satan to possess careless women.

How can six or seven girls be working on the head of one person in the name of hairstyles. Is it healthy? This is madness. Some of these girls or ladies are agents of darkness commissioned to initiate women into the demonic world.
Women will sit down for hours, while their God given virtues are transferred or replace with a demon.

It is so bad.

Another way of initiating women is this so called Brazilian hair, India hair refer to as attachment.
Attachment to the hair God had already numbered. The Bible says the hair has been counted. Why adding or attaching another dead hair from another country to God's counted hair. It is a shame. We are importing hairs from another country in the name of beauty. What a shame! What is wrong with my people? We say we are black and proud, how true?
It is a lie.

Move around the shop where they are selling these demonic, fake and dead hair rebranded as attachments, you will see girls demonstrating, I would like it to reach my back, I want it so long.

At home, men are in trouble, the economy is bad, they have money to sustain the family but not enough to play with, so men are very cautious when it comes to spending money.
Women don't reason like that they say " I want to do my hair, I want to do my hair"
This is the National anthem of women.

One day, I told my wife that I prefer the low cut to the demonic attachment. She struggled, I insisted. I thank God for my wife, very good wife . I can say boldly I am blessed with a wonderful wife. She eventually agreed.

For the first time, people queried her, they attacked my wife say why? You mean your husband said so.
Her colleagues mocked her.

After sometime she did the low cut again, then somebody said what a fine hair!
You see, I have examined women, one thing about them is that they are kinda unpredictable, they may not really know what is good for them.
Men who are suppose to be the head in terms of guiding and correcting them are the one encouraging their wives to wear trouser, leggies, backless, mini skirt, strapless, tight gown, tight skirt, spaghetti, dead women's hair, rubber hair, dread lock wig, afro wig, false eyelashes, lipstick, body hug.
They say,
I want you to look sexy. The question is ; Is your wife a prostitute?
If the answer is no, then do the needful.

Recently, women are now appreciating their God given hair, the natural hair.

What are you telling me?

Are you wiser than God?

God has given you a fine hair, no attachment, no wool, no rubber, appreciate it , make it neat, annoint it with oil, comb it.

What a marvellous God! You are wonderfully made.
You are beautiful.

This is simplicity. Humility, pure, spotless, gentle not rough with one dead hair from another country.

The head is the symbol of your destiny, your brain is very powerful. It is the control room.
Do not allow anybody to tamper with your head which is the symbol of your destiny.

Many women have entered into a strange problem because of attachment. Barrenness, dead baby in the womb, husband under seriuos attack. Untimely death of spouse, cancer, spirit husband and so on.

I pray for the present generation women that God will cause their spiritual eyes to open to understand exceeding greatness of what God has for them.
In Jesus mighty name.
AMEN.

Nollywood actor Charles Onojie and his wife Obehi have just welcomed their second child, a baby girl on Wednesday, May 25 in Decatur, Georgia, US.

The couple who got married on November 2012 in Benin City named the child Onoseta. Disclosing the news,Obehi recalled he difficulties she encountered before finally conceiving. She said......

"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. God is wonderful, he blessed me with another beautiful baby 2 days ago, he made it possible for me to sing a new song again, our God is good! When you are waiting on the Lord for something good to happen, please don't give up, He will surely answer you. I never knew what it meant to wait on the Lord until he taught me how. Since my first daughter became a year old, I have been praying for another baby, it took quiet a long time before it happened. During that time, I was worried, delayed periods meant miscarriages to me, my mum wasn't helping matters, "Obehi is old enough to have a sibling, what are you waiting for? Born them sharp sharp, make you rest once" she had no idea what I was going through, I prayed and prayed, cried and cried, then it happened. My period was a week late but I was too scared to confirm my status, then I tried my ovulation test kit, it gave me a smiley face I shouted and rushed off to tell hubby, he said calm down, take this money, he was just giving me a lot of money that morning neither of us knew how much, he told me to go to the nearest clinic for confirmation, as I was driving down, my heart start to beat, I said to myself, I should ve been quiet about this, what if I just raised hubby's hope for nothing?

“ God reassured me that because He is King over all, everything is beautiful. As soon as my result came out of the lab, my eyes automatically became xrays, I scanned through the paper in the nurse's hand from afar and I saw *positive* I asked her from where I was sitting, "positive abi? " she said yes. Ha mo'gbe o, I screamed the whole clinic down and hugged her so tight, I gave the nurse money to buy lunch for herself and the rest of her colleagues. You see, when we take in easily, we don't know what God has done for us, until we start to hear stories of how many women, are trying hard for the same thing you got so easily. Always be grateful, no matter what, your morning will surely come, keep believing, your testimony will come. All the challenges I had during this pregnancy are long forgotten since my bundle of joy arrived, thank u Lord" she wrote happily.

Congrats to them.

Education / Re: 10 Major English Expressions And Their Origins by whoisuche: 1:10pm On May 03, 2016
nedufantasy:
Most times we use English expressions, phrases and idioms in our daily conversations, we have gotten so used to these words that most people cannot do without it, here are some of the expressions and their origins:

1.  Letting the cat out of the bag:This phrase means to reveal secret or hidden facts. The origin is traced to pig farmers market in England centuries ago, where a dubious seller might put a cat in place of a pig and you won’t be aware until you get home and let the cat out of the bag.
2.  Beating around the bush:This means talking around a subject matter without coming to the point. This phrase had its origin from hunting. In the middle ages specifically in the 1400s or 1500s during hunting for birds, hunters normally hire “beaters” whose duty was to beat around bushes to cause birds or other animals beneath to run out so that they could be hunted. In case of boar hunting, it is safer to beat around the bush to avoid attack, or whack a nest of bees which will bring the hunting to halt.

3.  BORN WITH SILVER SPOON: This popular expression when used illustrates that one is born into a wealthy family or is to inherit a large wealth. Mediaval spoons were usually made of wood. It become a tradition in many countries for well to do godparents  to give a silver spoon to their godchildren at christening ceremonies. This is attributed to be the source of the phrase.

4.  STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH: This when used by a person means that the information is authentic, reliable and edible. The horses teeth tells you the horses age and health of the horse. A smart horse trader or buyer could get all the information he needed from the horses mouth. That is directly without the “truth” from anyone else.

5.  TO FOLLOW SUIT: The meaning of this phrase is to do something as somebody else. The origin comes from card games where if someone plays a card, then you have to play another card that’s the same suit.

6.  BEAR WITH ME: Bear with me simply means someone is asking for furtherance or patience. The “bear” in the word is an old verb “to carry” you are asking someone to carry a burden with you, until you both get to the destination.
7.  SCOT FREE: Means to be completely free from harm, restraint or punishment. Scot is a Scandinavian word for tax and it migrated to Britain and mutated into “Scot”. No one likes paying tax and people have been getting scot free since at least the 11th century.

8.  SCAPE GOAT: This term refers to someone who is punished for the deeds of others. A scapegoat was originally a goat driven off into the wilderness as part of the ceremonies of the Day of Atonement in Judaism. The idea was that the goat, having the sins if the people placed upon its back, would be sent out to perish, thus saving the people by its death. Read the book of Leviticus 16:6 in the holy bible.

9.  THROW IN THE TOWEL: This simply means to quit to avoid further suffering or difficulties. The expression drives from boxing. When a boxer is suffering a beating and his corner want to stop the fight they literally throw in the towel to indicate their conceding of the fight.

10. BURY THE HATCHET: To settle your differences with an adversary. The origin is traced to the Native Americans whom Christopher Columbus described as the “indios”, Hatchets were buried by the chief of tribes when they come to a peace agreement.

Vengeance is of the Lord.
Religion / Re: Revenge: Are You For Or Against? by whoisuche: 5:23pm On Apr 13, 2016
freecocoa:
I'm someone who has always thought revenge to be a 'bad' thing, believing that when someone hurts you and you also hurt the person in return, then nothing makes you different from that person, because you both are a people, that hurt someone, but is this really true? Can/should it be called hurting someone, if they deserve it?

Now, as I keep growing and dealing with people, I'm starting to think my stance on revenge is flawed.

I think I'm beginning to see revenge for what it really is, justice. We often hear, "leave it to karma" some say "leave it for/to god"(this shouldn't be an option btw) but at the end of the day, we can't really say people get what they deserve, in that, bad things happen to good people and good things to bad people and for all I know, "bad" people seem to have it better than the "good" ones in this nonsense world, so should we fold our arms and let people who wronged us feel fly, while we feel miserable?

Someone will argue that, feeling hurt is more a thing of choice than consequence, asking, how can someone hurt you, if you don't want to be? Talking about how it is our minds that hold on to things, therefore we can condition it to let go or not, but is this really true? Do we have absolute control of what we feel? I think not.

Now if someone hurt me and I'm really feeling it, why shouldn't I validate this feeling by seeking revenge? I mean, don't we have a right to want to feel better? Does revenge make one feel better?

what's your take? Should we seek revenge or not? Lets discuss.

Vengeance is for God. Jesus Christ said how many times will your brother offend you in a day, 70 x 7. so u see don't retaliate when someone offend you. Forgive and forget it. God will see you through in Jesus Christ Name Amen.

While growing up I felt so different and did things differently. Naturally I am an introvert, my class mates in sec school would say I have a unique way of doing things. I felt so cool about myself expecially the ability to control how I feel generally. I am very handsome and the kind of guy girls easily throw themselves at, again I felt my ability to resist certain temptations was because I had self control. Growing up in a Christian home their are things we don't ask mom and dad, I would look at Lil bro and notice I had a smaller scrotum but I didn't feel something was wrong with me. All these years I never understood I had a real problem. Am all grown now but I can't keep a relationship!! My siblings will always crack a joke about how unlucky I was with finding a good date. First time I got a girlfriend, very loving and caring young girl. We started off for 2yrs without sex. It wasn't a problem for me I don't know what sex feels like but it was to her and she wanted it badly I knew I would loose her if I don't and she began to wonder if I was a man. First time we tried sex I couldn't get erected, I felt it was anxiety and she was supportive. Second and third was worse but we kept trying. She had to tell me to see a doctor fast because I am not okay. Sex ended up being an issue and we broke up. I dated two other girls and the last girl said it to my face "YOU ARE IMPOTENT" And that was when it occurred to me this is serious. I went to see a urologist and after the blood test it was confirmed I had low T. Low testosterone below normal. I couldn't believe I had a problem like this until I did a sperm analysis. I had oligospermia!! 95% abnormality. Further test showed I had Hypogondasim, it's yet unknown if it's secondary or primary Hypogondasim. I knew I had gone down that road where u look back and ask life
What did I do to deserve this?
How do I convince a girl to even accept to marry me?
Is their really a God?
Why am I a man if God won't give me what I need to become a man.
Every solution I have heard so for is impractical, expensive or ridiculous. Imagine injecting testosterone for 6 months before ur fit to make love to your wife? Or injecting my penis to stay up before sex? Alpha blockers like viagra has no effect on me at all. Apart from sexual performance secience is yet to understand male fertility and alot of things will be tried on me, this could take years!!! If it's so simple as doctor's will easily say why are their cases of 25yrs without a child some never have a child and just adopt. Why are their so many drugs and injections if one thing works. Am at the bridge of taking my life, I see no point making all these money and sit down in an empty house sad and lonely.

Don't ask God why? He knows everything Serve him and forget all your worries.
