Emefiele is the next target of these malcontent, bigoted tribalistic louts and I am sure they won't rest until they remove and replace him with another born to rule candidate. Where were they when Sanusi was spending whimsically over 150b naira un appropriated funds belonging to CBN |
Kudos to the VP for visiting and showing empathy to the victims, it's now time for the administration to demonstrate the right commitment to combat the menace of boko haram |
Yes, We've seen a lot of surprises already We are surprise that he is waiting for 100days to publicly declare his assets We are surprise that Boko Haram is still having their ways unchallenged one month after he was sworn in We are surprise that the first capital project by this administration is an helipad in Daura We are surprise that east and west Germany still exist and that Mitchell is the president of the West We are surprise at the unruly nature of APC legislators and HOR members and that the simplest task of electing leaders has been this acrimonious We are surprise that we see more pictures of our president attending to mundane issues like tending to his cows than actually concentrating on the job he was elected to do We are surprise that one month after he was sworn in, he finds it extremely hard go appoint one person from the motley crowd of change agents as the secretary to the fed govt We are surprise at the way unelected and not yet appointed individuals like Dambazzau are wielding official powers and throwing their weights around We are surprise that Jega's decision on whom to handover to at INEC was reversed without official explanation We are surprise that the president could flip flop about serious security directive, No more checkpoints on Monday, checkpoints remain on Tuesday |
The most an appeal court will do is to order retrial, then maybe another unproductive and wasteful 7yrs of legal rigmarole at the lower court |
The first law of power is to totally decimate and render useless the combined forces that propelled you into position of authority. The logic is if they have the power to elevate you, then they also have the power to bring you down. Obasanjo failed to do that and it almost cost him nomination for reelection, Jonathan failed to do same and he is out of power. Buhari failed to do it as a military head of state and he was booted out with ignominy. Babangida sacked the entire supreme military council in one day making him the sole authority in the land , then reconstituted it with lackeys and cronies.ambitious officers like Vatsa were found guilty of coup plotting and executed inspite of worldwide plea for mercy. Abacha as the maximum ruler used the Okigbo report on the gulf oil windfall to checkmate his benefactor, Babangida, hauled into prison Abiola and other prominent Nigerians who urged him to take over from Shonekan , Yarardua, Obasanjo and Diya were roped in as accomplices in a contrived coup plot and sent to jail where they could not have the influence to cause any damage. Seems Buhari learnt a lesson from his last inglorious outing, Tinubu is being checkmated , ambitious supporters like Kwankwassiya may spend the next four years trying to avoid arrest and prosecution for fraud |
lagmostkuit:Don't you think she needs to instead deal with her trust issue, it's the secretary this time, it may be someone else next time, so are going to keep replacing people she's uncomfortable with? |
lagmostkuit:The problem is getting a competent replacement. You can go on leave for a month and you can trust her to make the right decisions on your behalf |
You have thriving oil servicing coy with lots of multi national clients . All the departments are manned by highly skilled, dedicated professionals and after a succession of incompetent personal secretaries you were able to secure the service of a very educated, young and competent lady sourced through a reputable HR company. Her employment has been of immense blessing to your organization and to you personally. The "problem" however is her exceeding beauty. Although her dressing is modest and professional, she still oozes an unmistakable sexual appeal and no one comes to the office without complimenting her beauty and professional competence. Your wife visited the office one day , saw the lady and since then has insisted she must be sacked because she can't trust her around you. This has been a source of constant friction at home as you have also insisted she (your wife) cannot not dictate who you work with in your office. You love your wife and family passionately and won't want anything or anyone to come between you, but you also know, based on your experience, that getting a competent and reliable secretary is quite difficult. What do you advice? |
See Keyamo grinning foolishly after losing the case, wetin concern am, EFCC don pay hin money complete |
Defending an Omnipotent God, how stupid and anachronistic |
Abimbolaile:Hahahahahaha, bawo Bimby , don't u think that would be more interesting and attention grabbing than pictures of him attending to his cows, breaking his fast, praying during Jumat service, sharing a joke with Adesina? The point I am trying to make is that the president is being overexposed in manners that portrays him as been more at ease with mundane issues. |
Nigeria is the only country I know where armed robbers joins the mob in lynching a pickpocket |
The only picture not yet considered worthy of public consumption in the last one month is the presidential shag. We need to know if he prefers doggy or missionary |
To the malcontents this is travesty, once they convict you in their minds nothing can absolve you. This judge is definitely going to be the next target of their tirades. At the end of the day justice prevailed and whoever is not satisfied can hug the nearest transformer |
I can see some sycophants already inventing excuses for the presidents lack of integrity concerning this issue by trying to stretch logic beyond its reasonable limit. For sake of clarity, these are the issues 1) the constitution stipulates that all public officers must declare their assets with the code of conduct bureau once they take up any position of responsibility 2) The president, to bolster his credibility during campaign promised to go beyond the constitutional requirement by publicly declaring his asset 3) as required by the law, he and his vice submitted their assets declaration form to the code of conduct bureau but contrary to his electioneering promise, he has refused to made the form public 4) the excuse of verification by the bureau before publication is lame as it does not change the content of the assets declared. Its just an administrative procedure to confirm if there are discrepancies in what is declared . Changing the content to align with the result of the verification would amount to a crime because the declaration is made under oath |
The Northern politicians are smarter than their co-travellers . They've already started eroding the credibility of the Online mercenary (saharareporters) by feeding them wrong "exclusive" information in the morning and once the fools reports it gleefully as another exclusive, they come out to deny the report. They've done so much damage to Sahara's credibility in the last two days so much so that many who hitherto digest their news hook line and sinker would now need corroboration from other sources to belief the poo the disseminate |
Bigots and tribalist are the first to always accuse others of bigotry and tribalism. It must be obvious to everyone now that APC is an association of tribal warlords and the internal contradictions is just beginning to unravel for all to see. The tribal armoury would soon be fully opened by the warlords once the ministerial list is announced |
Clowns like Sagay , keyamo et al expects us to still take their opinions on national issues serious. People whose judgment of public standards of moral codes and ethics fluctuates in accordance with party's affiliation. To them there is a Damascus en- route PDP to APC where every Saul turns to Paul and vice versa |
Another attention seeking YEYE organization. |
In so far as we have dishonest con men presiding over the affairs of this nation at every strata, so long we'll keep prowling in the dark with no light at the end of the tunnel. Okonjo should not have bothered responding to this allegation as those who allege must provide proof. I remember Amaechi once claiming he had never received a penny from the SURE-P fund until the ministry of finance published the huge amount Rivers state had collected for 3yrs, He shamefully kept quiet after then without rebuttal to what the ministry published . They also once alleged Kolade resigned as chairman of SURE P because of 500b fraud, they kept peddling the story until the man put lie to the claim and as usual they've kept mum since then without having the decency to at least admit they were wrong with their outcry |
Why not conduct the investigation and give the parties involved the right of response to your queries first before divulging details to the public. Knowing Nigerians , with these allegations thrown into the public arena , no amount of explanation by NNPC and all the parties involved, however exhaustive, would suffice to absolve them of the charges made |
Sheu Sanni needs to barb his bushy hair so fresh air can permeate his brain. So to him everyone who criticize the lackluster approach of the president to governance is shameless? Very uncouth bunch of louts. They keep mentioning massive loots as if that should excuse their lack of direction. Let them start giving us concrete proofs of embezzlement and commence in earnest the prosecution of those found wanting instead of the repetitive threats that is already wearing us out. The idiot and his cohorts have received two months salary (probably more than what some workers earn in a year) without debating a single bill and he expects us to keep quiet |
Why give an empty order with no consequence for non compliance. We operate a federal system and the governors, not even local government chairmen, take orders from the president. |
Presidential directive, do as the president does |
Copying the president, he's been slumbering for one month |
nkemdi89:Arrest is an abridgment of fundamental human right that should not be contemplated unless a prima facie case has been established. You only establish a prima facie case after a proper investigation by those lawfully saddled with the task. I don't know about you, but I don't want my rights to depend on the discretion of anybody no matter highly placed. His inlaw is like every other nigerian with same rights and responsibilities and personal embarrassment is not an excuse to circumvent due process. If his in-law breaks the law, the proper thing to do is report to the appropriate authorities and allow them do what's right under the law |
tayebest:Maybe you mean freedom to slander, that has never existed |
nkemdi89:Yes madam, I know about citizens arrest, but there is nothing in the write-up that says the offence was committed in his presence. The DSS can receive policy directive from the president and not an order to arrest a Nigerian citizen . Maybe you can show me a section of our law that gives him such authority |
Abugab:My brother, I read the story and also know it's nothing but fictional journalism so my response should be viewed as hypothetical. Law and morality are not synonymous, what's morally right may be legally wrong, the outcome of an act does not always justify the means however altruistic the motive. If we excuse an infraction because it achieved a desired objective then we are unwittingly sanctioning autocratic impunity that may turnaround to bite us in the face if the same means is deplored for sinister motive |
Abugab:The report said he ORDERED the security agent to arrest, not investigate, the brother in-law. I see nothing commendable in the president of a democratic nation willfully ordering the arrest of a nigerian citizen, relative or not. That's not the kind of power we should ever allow anyone in authority to have as it may turn into a double edge sword to be used for good and evil. He can order an investigation and spur the necessary agency into action, anything beyond that is autocratic |
