I have absolutely no sympathy for robbers, infact I fully support the execution of those ones found guilty after a fair trial in our law courts. That said, anyone capable of setting another human being on fire is as guilty , if not guiltier than the robbers themselves. Only an animal ( a closet robber) can participate in this kind of barbaric act |
Amaechi was an aberration in governance, the number specimen of what leadership should not be. He mistook arrogance for brilliance , impunity for statemanship, loquaciousness for eloquence, childish tantrums for political activism. Grandiose without substance, he was an eight years mistake that may take another 10 to redress |
Now, let the work start, we intend never to let our guards down, monitor your official conduct and the decisions you make for the next four years, we implore you to endure our jokes and pokes, our criticism and dissent just like the last occupant of the office did with grace and equanimity. Inspite of our misgivings, we wish you well and also wish our great country four years of peace and prosperity |
While I also share the sentiment that the former tyrant should be kicked in the butt for his junket round the world and tending to his cattle like a ceremonial head of state, I think the move by this lawyer is vexatious and attention seeking. He should know as a lawyer that we do not have an attorney general for now and that the president cannot be sued in his personal and official capacity. What he is doing is a disingenuous way of breaching his professional ethics which forbids a lawyer from advertising his services, the clown even included his phone numbers on the affidavit hahahahahaha . Won't blame him though, others like Falana and Keyamo have deployed the same tactics over the years with great pecuniary reward and national visibility |
This subsidy saga reminds me of Brutus, Mark Anthony and thr Roman plebians in the famous Shakespeare drama Julius Ceasar, the Nigerian masses are in no way different from the fickle minded Roman pleabians, swayed more by emotion than logic. I have always believed that removing the subsidy is the best way to curb the massive corruption in the downstream sector, the only way those licensed to build private refineries can be sure of returns on investment. Those scurrilous individuals and organizations who turned the subsidy debate into a muscle flexing, diabolical campaign against Jonathan's govt for their selfish political reasons should try reclaim their honor by first apologizing to Nigerians for misleading and exploiting their naivity. |
Soloter:If by now PMB is not aware of Amaechi's corrupt nature , then he is a bigger fool than I thought. Where was Amaechi getting all the money he spent during the last campaign? inheritance from his late father? |
Atiku stop the crap, you are only loyal to your greed and your inordinate lust for power |
This privileged goat has sent so many depositors of the now defunct Societe Generale bank to their early graves, others sentenced to live of penury. His term as the selected governor of kwara was another opportunity for him to further impoverish the long suffering masses of the state as he, his family and cronies looted and mismanaged the state's funds. He mocks God with this public show of faith and piety |
The caption should have been "ANOTHER FORTUNE SEEKER DEFECTS TO APC" |
Repentance may guarantee us a safe passage to heaven but seldom effective from shielding from karma here on earth. I pray he rest the way he laid his bed |
A cheering News in this season of inertia and uncertainty by the change agents, kudos to hell-ruffian for discontinuing the stupidly wasteful tradition |
In their quest to wrest power from Jonathan, APC and their allies corrupted many sacred institutions, including the media. Otherwise responsible media houses were turned into ragsheets churning out concocted stories daily and in the process smiling to the banks at the expense of gullible readers. Lies and propaganda are now very profitable hobbies that , unfortunately, can't be turned off at the whims of those who financed and encouraged it. It gladdens the heart to see APC squirm at the bite of the same monster they created, if you buy a whirlwind, it's only fitting that you must enjoy/endure the occasional dizzy spells |
GOATandYAMtheory:Next Next month is still a forecast, you can only roll out the drums when the maintenance works starts yielding the desired result as promised |
And some people will beat their chest and claim they can never fall victim of 419ners, hahahahahaha If you voted APC in the last election, YOU'VE BEEN SCAMMED |
NDLEA needs to move in and take over APC secretariat, I suspect there is an office in the building stacked with cheap drugs |
Yes, plenty of times. First was at the Jumat prayer on the day of inauguration, then I sited him at the airport in Niamey, a week later we met at the Friday Jumat service in Abuja, then four days later we bumped into each other at the Abuja airport on his way to kaduna en route Daura for the commencement of Ramadan |
OP nothing has changed, a blackman can call fellow blacks Nigga with no consequence or backlash but a whiteman should never make the mistake of calling a brother Nigga whatever the context |
This sounds like a prostitute preaching about abstinence |
Unless the ugly trend is urgently curbed, junk journalism may be the bane of our cherished democracy. |
Jonathan knelt down before Adeboye and that was all the evidence needed to convict him of weeping up religious sentiments, his closeness to Oritshejafor, attending church services in abuja, visiting Jerusalem was deemed as dividing the nation along religious lines. I sometimes feel there are two sets of rules and moralities public officers are judged by in this hypocritical nation. Since inauguration, Buhari has been shown more in mosques than in official meetings, he is right now in Katsina to commence his Ramadan, what's now sauce for the gander was considered poisonous for the goose . Until fairness and mutual respect guides tribal and religious relationships in this country, progress and peace would remain elusive |
Good start Wike, you do not need to refute the baseless claim of one of Amaechi's underlings when their oga already told us he would be leaving behind an empty treasury, he even boasted you will not have money to pay salaries not to talk of embarking on developmental projects. God pass am, just remain focused and the people would queue behind you |
Don't care about APC internal politics, but Dele Momodu should take a chill pill. He must be very disappointed he was not considered as the spokesman hence the constant rants on social media. He was an area boy as a concord journalist, wonder loaf bread hawker, ovation publisher and he still remain an area boy, especially to the faction of Apc (Saraki, Amaechi faction) where is bread is being buttered |
This woman is a complete dunce, so she expects police to obtain a warrant before recovering stolen property. Her lies are so obvious, first, she became a commissioner in 2008, that Lexus recovered from her premises is not a 2008 vehicle so it could not have been allocated to her as status car. Second, lexus is not the official vehicle of commissioners in Rivers state and how much was her legimate salary and entitlements as a commissioner that should justify the monitization of a car as expensive as a Lexus for her office. Someone conscious of her right should be in court by now suing for damages instead of this useless rant. Ole, barawo |
When will these stupid leaders realise Nigeria is a secular state and that spending from the commonwealth to promote any religion is a crime. Fasting is a personal religious obligation to requires personal conviction. If you feed people when abstinence is required, are you going to keep feeding them when they are at liberty to consume freely? |
If Aregbe knew of the dire state of Osun's economy and he knows he is limited intellectually on the solution to the quagmire, why did he seek re-election? He was gallivanting round the whole place during the last presidential campaign when he was supposed to be thinking of ways to repay back the confidence reposed in him when his mandate was renewed by the good people of Osun's state. To avoid total anarchy in Osun I think the federal govt has no choice but to arrange for immediate bail out |
OrlandoOwoh:You sound like the late Barkin Zuwo, "government money in government house" hahahahahaha Recovering govt properties illegally converted is part of the work he is elected to do. If this kind of stunt is all he does productively for the next one month, then he would have justified some of the reasons for electing him as gov |
Testimonial for high performance, drilling many holes at the same time, Lagos treasury and many Lagos damsels Eko oni baje ooo |
Dannyset:In other words, what we should frown at is the quantum of loot and not the act itself. Na wa for my country people ooo |
Only in Nigeria, a man with no official status, turning back the head of states security service from official security event. |
So Seminatari, Liar Mohammed of Rivers state is a common thief? Aside from recovering the vehicle, she ought to have been arrested and prosecuted for converting public property to private ownership. Barawo |
If buhari like, let him probe how many times GEJ slept with Mama Peace on the presidential bed in the five years they occupied Aso villa, all we know is that he must fulfill his electoral promises. The $9.3 was money meant for covert arms deal that went awry. The covert nature of the deal became necessary as the only option in our quest to get the right weapon to repel the rampaging boko boys. the NSA attested to it and the former president gave an extensive explanation during his last presidential media chat. The money seized belonged to the company contracted to source the arms from the black market and the arms had since been supplied. A lot of Nigerians seem more fixated about the money rather than the motive for the deal. National security issue is not something to play politics with, last week he promised to investigate amnesty international allegations against the military, this week it's the covert arms deal, meanwhile the boko boys have regrouped, seized back the initiative and obviously waxing stronger |
Rather, the govt should probe lawyers like you who in the last four years have collected huge sums of money from EFFC to prosecute high profile cases of fraud but could not secure a single conviction |
when will u ever makesense? You call it mere forecast? Something that was forecasted to function in 18months begins to function a year earlier because power changed hands. SMH for U. And na person born u o!
