I have absolutely no sympathy for robbers, infact I fully support the execution of those ones found guilty after a fair trial in our law courts. That said, anyone capable of setting another human being on fire is as guilty , if not guiltier than the robbers themselves. Only an animal ( a closet robber) can participate in this kind of barbaric act

His first official engagement was actually flagging off of the operation zero pothole campaign on the day of inauguration, that was after announcing the appointments of the acting chief judge for the states high court and the customary court of appeal. He visited the govt house on Monday (3 days after the inauguration) and rightly and as incumbent on him as the chief executive officer of the state, informed the general public of what the exiting thieves did to the house built, furnished and maintained at public expense

Only this week are we been informed of a judicial committee been set up to investigate alleged corrupt activities of Amaechi in the sale of some Government properties. the sure terms of reference for this kangaroo committee is "indict him by all means " as if Wike deserves to be free or alive in a sane clime.

If you are from Rivers state or a resident working and paying you tax in the state, then you ought to be concerned about the level of recklessness and impunity of the last administration, especially with the way govt assets were disposed off without due process. We need to know how much and to whom states assets like Risompalm, the gas turbines, Olympia hotel etc were sold to, what happened to the funds realised from the sales. A commission of inquiry is not more than a fact finding committee and their finding can guide the state in moving forward. If anyone is found wanting after their probe, such a person or persons should have the day in court

why is a man that has made many women widows, brought sorrow to many families and in some situations almost wiped off some families bent on painting Amaechi dark before a people Amaechi has won their hearts by fighting corruption and ousting it out?
