Coup is very necessary in West African countries because majority of the civilian politician abuse their offices.

Legislation are made by the Supreme military council or Armed Forces Ruling Council and quickly implemented.

Successive federal government in Nigeria that we have had over the years down to the present Tinubu administration prefer the crude oil money as they feel it brings in fast money.

Currently crude oil money ( oil and gas ) can no longer carry the expenditure of Nigeria any longer.

Nigeria now needs to focus on Agriculture, Power generation sectors, Solid minerals and the IT and Mobile Phones sectors.

Nigeria has a large land mass but most of our agricultural land have been taken over by fulani herdsmen, terrorist and bandits including kidnappers.

We can not farm in peace.

Any government that ends insecurity now ravaging Nigeria and focus the attention of government towards Agriculture will have the solutions to the falling economy.

Most importantly government must curb corruption by the political class and bring the cost of governance to a low level.

I strongly support the views of Mr Femi Fani Kayode.

Nigeria government + ECOWAS should listened to his submission they should engage in diplomacy with the Nigerien military junta and should not used military force to push the military junta from power.

I agree with Mr Femi Fani Kayode on the point he raised that the deployment of military force by ECOWAS will distabilize the SAHEL region including the entire West Africa and North Africa.

He said that military solution by ECOWAS will not help the interest of West Africa states or ECOWAS but that of the big western powers like France and the USA.

It is the federal, state and local government in Nigeria that is making Bachelor degree, HND degree, NCE degree and Masters degree worthless.

They have no program to create employment.

It is largely due to the CRUDE OIL mentality that the federal government have cultured the country into starting from the military government.

Large expanse of land in the northern part of Nigeria including the middle belt and down south are wasting away.

There is no plan for massive mechanized Agriculture.

Even the Tinubu administration has no serious plans for Agriculture.

The mindset of the federal government is too concentrated in Petroleum ( Crude oil and gas )

They are not serious about Agriculture.

It is all lip service from Federal government, State government and Local government including the private sector.

The past military government we have had in Nigeria prefer the money coming from crude oil sale.

So they focus their attention on the crude oil and neglecting Agriculture.

When the politician came they continued that mindset.

Crude oil sale gives quick money.

Pump the crude oil from its sources put it in barrels and sell to European, American and Asian countries.

But Agriculture is more time consuming, more laborious in nature and the government do not want that kind of business.

However, the reality is presenting itself with the depleting revenue coming in from crude oil.

NIGERIA MUST START INVESTING IN MECHANISED AGRICULTURE ESPECIALLY THE NORTHERN STATES WHERE THEY HAVE A LARGE LAND MASS.

ANY NIGERIAN PRESIDENT STILL WAITING FOR CRUDE OIL MONEY TO IMPROVE ON OUR REVENUE BASE ARE DAY DREAMING.

The federal government of Nigeria must cut down on the HIGH COST OF GOVERNANCE.

HIGH COST OF GOVERNANCE IS AFFECTING ALL THE 36 STATES INCLUDING ABUJA FCT.

Corruption by the political class is seriously affecting development in Nigeria.

Money meant for investment to create opportunity and deliver on social services to the citizenry are looted by the politicians in Nigeria.

The government must also invest in the solid mineral sectors.

In most of the Northern states, illegal mining has become a common habit and the federal government and its security agencies are not taking action against illegal miners.

In Niger republic for example, they found Uranium and that is what the French are fighting to be in control and they are pushing ECOWAS states like Nigeria to go and fight the junta there so that they can be in charge of the uranium that belongs to the Nigerien people.

The crisis in Niger republic is not about the restoration of democracy in Niger republic.

It is about fight for the control of the mineral resources of Niger republic.

But the United States and France that had their troops there are making ECOWAS states and their government to believe that it is the fight for democratic governance.

Nigerians tolerated the IBB military government for 8 years and Abacha for 5 years.

Where was ECOWAS when the Late General Sani Abacha incarcerated the late Chief MKO Abiola?

Why can 't they allow the military junta in Niger republic to remain in power till the country is calm for a transition from military rule to civilian democratic government.

The forceful placement of Bazoum in Niger republic will result in more crisis.

Nigeria government the arrow head in ECOWAS will have to station troops in Niger republic after removing the military junta and feeding the soldiers in order to maintain stability in Nigeria.

It is not just removing the military junta, installing President Bazoum and returning our military personnel back home.

We are living in a divided country.

The northern political leaders want their people to mine the resources in the north and use it for themselves.

But they want the southern part of Nigeria to continue to be the providing of all the revenue for running the Nigeria project.

EX-GOVERNOR OF EDO STATE, SENATOR ADAMS OSHIOMOLE IS THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS POLITICAL CONFUSION IN EDO STATE.

He started a fight with the current governor of Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki.

The consequences of this crisis instigated by Ex-governor Oshiomole led to a situation where Edo state had to loose out of the ruling party at the federal level.

Mr Oshiomole wanted Obaseki to loose at all cost his governorship position just because of political differences.

Oshiomole forgot the POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES and its fall out as it affects the ECONOMIC WELLBEING and future of Edo state.

He was POWER DRUNK and carried away by APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN POSITION which he himself lost out in no time when Buhari got tired of him.

Oshiomole lack of PIPEING LOW put Edo state political landscape in a difficult stage.

Another angle to the Edo state power sharing is that it is the Edo central zone that is supposed to produce the governor.

That is the Ishan speaking people.

It is not Edo North which the present Deputy governor Mr Philip Shuabu comes from and he is aspiring to the office of governor.

OSHIOMOLE WAS TOO BITTER AGAINST OBASEKI TO THE EXTENT THAT FOR MONTHS THE WHOLE COUNTRY WAS ON FIRE ON EDO STATE MATTER.

Governor Obaseki is sensing the fact that since Oshiomole APC won the federal centre and with Oshiomole being a federal Senator aligned to President Tinubu.

It will not be fair for Edo South ( Binis ) to loose the coming governor position.

There is the thinking among the Binis that they still want to hold on to power as governor as Edo North can get all the money they want from President Tinubu at the federal level with Oshiomole connection.

Edo South feel it would be a political suicide to give power to Edo North that is even not the legit people to have it having Edo North themselves build a bridge to the federal APC centre under the government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu using Senator Oshiomole connection.

I think governor Obaseki feel comfortable suspending the zoning arrangement for the time being just because of the OSHIOMOLE FACTOR.

Nigeria government should focus on the economic problems facing Nigeria.

That prompted Buhari to redeploy Mr Keyamo to Labour Ministry to serve as the Minister of state for Labour matter under Dr. Ngige who was the Minister of Labour.

At the tail end of Keyamo service to the federal government he told Buhari that the Minister for State position should be scrapped.

WHAT ABOUT THE WARRI REFINERY?

GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI SHOULD REACH OUT TO PRESIDENT TINUBU TO FIX THE WARRI REFINERY.

THEY ARE OF DIFFERENT POLITICAL PARTY BUT THEY CAN WORK TOGETHER.

The federal government should build more refineries to create employement.

They should also fix the Warri Refineries.

What the yoruba people are passing through in Kwara state is a very sad one.

The principal King in ILORIN, the Emir of Ilorin is a fulani.

This is a state where the yoruba are in a sizeable majority.

As a result of the accident of history they are treated as minority.

The yoruba being a traditionalist by their culture are relegated to the background.

All the principal traditional authority is exercised by the Emir of Ilorin and the yoruba there have been living in Kwara state as if their basic right and freedom is not being trampled upon.

The Emir of Ilorin recently banned a yoruba princesses for attempting to organize a yoruba traditional festival which the Fulani king felt was feltish and against the culture of the Fulani Masters in Ilorin who are themselves muslims.

Even Professor Wole Soyinka had to respond to this ill treatment of the yorubas in Kwara state.
