just forget this people even if evolution was a lie they still don't have a case. There is enough evidence against a recent creation and an even older universe from other fields of science I had to start explaining why a young universe isn't possible because of starlight. It's just sad. Let them come and mess up astrophysics with creationist nonsense and that's where I'll really get annoyed

Christianity Etc › Re: 10 Tips For Talking About Jesus by winner01(op): 6:07pm On Feb 19, 2018
ScienceWatch:
Hi WINNER01, I hope you don't mind me adding something useful here.

The whole Bible in many ways point to Jesus Christ. The ancient Holy Gospels and Acts powerfully demonstrate the exclusive power of the mighty Jesus Christ. Until now famous atheists, fake pastors, governments, kings etc have managed to deceive the world in to believing that the miracles, signs, prophecy etc, are fairy tales and that the bible is full of contradictions.

Jesus Christ himself says that the miracles, signs, prophecy etc, must be done so that people will be amazed and glorify God. He also says that the exclusive miracles bear witness of Him and therefore it also bear witness of His "true" pastors/disciples/ministers.

Joh 10:37 If I don’t do the miracles/ WORKS of my Father, don’t believe me.

Joh 14:12 Truly, Truly, I say to you, He that believes me, the miracles/ WORKS that I do will you also do; and greater (more) miracles/WORKS than these shall you do; because I must soon go unto my Father.

Joh 5:20 For the true God loves the Son, and shows Him all miracles that He does: and He will show me greater miracles/WORKS than these, so that you may be amazed and believe. Only the WORKS bear witness of a real pastor, not their elaborate speeches, conferences and motivational speeches. Joh 14:12

How awesome is this statement of Jesus ?
Joh 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the miracles/ WORKS which the Father has given me to finish, the same miracles/ WORKS that I do, bear witness for me, that the Father hath sent me.

Note : Go to SASASSIN'S post and see how he wish to confuse the relationship between Jesus and John.

Atheists foolishly think they have come up with new ways to attack Jesus's miracles. Two thousand years ago confused aesthetic Pharisees believed that Satan can do deliverance.
Mat 9:34 But the Pharisees said, He delivers out evil spirits through the prince of the devils.
Jesus said to them that Satan can not, will not work against himself. Therefore, deliverance comes from God !

Thanks to the truly blessed Scoan Church Nigeria, and their generous spiritual education channel, Emmanuel TV the whole world now have daily access to powerful never seen before evidence of the WORKS of the mighty Jesus Christ that can be easily scientifically verified so that according to Jesus, all will be amazed and then believe. Miracles aid believing.
Thumbs up

Hi Vaxx, ill rather call it a truth website. I wouldn't call Wikipedia an atheist website simply because its co owned by sworn atheist Jimmy Wales, with numerous proofs of Wikipedia's bias on certain topics such as intelligent design, abortion, homosexuality and several others. Truth can be gotten from anywhere. Answersingenesis is also a great source of truth, you can always rely on the pointers to evidence. Also I think you waste your time debating with this person, he's been on this for years and I don't think he's any less angry with God. You can check for proof in some of my threads. The real deal is outside. Souls are being won on the outside, people are waking up to true Christianity, don't waste your time with this guy.

people generally don't want to think about death even though death is all around us. It is our reality and final destination.

personally I think some theists believe because of that because when you get into an argument that they can't defeat they try to threaten you with death. especially one Sebastian moniker and asustrike2009.

Then these deeper life preachers in buses too.

they will be like when you die you will. go to he'll and. the way they say it shows it is the major reason they believe.
A lot of theists in this part of the world use this because of ignorance and inexperience especially in the area of apologetics and so you can't blame them. its different in other parts of the world. In reality, most people live their daily lives without thinking about death or hell. There are many other reasons why people believe what they believe.
Christianity Etc › Re: How Do You Prepare For Death? by winner01(m): 3:21pm On Oct 17, 2017
Either we admit it or not, I think the thought of death or sight of the dead brings fear into the most callous of humans. Ever wondered why assasins run when their life is in danger? I was seeing a movie where someone assasinated a president and he was on the run when authorities found out his location. My nephew asked out loud why an assasin was afraid to die and I also thought about it.
Death and the thought of it scares humans and as some have said, one way to deal with the fear of death is to not think about it and focus on life itself, which is what the majority do. I've never seen a man who talks about death every single time except death stares at the person (death sentence, terminal illness etc). Quit thinking about it and live, it will come naturally in it's time.
If you agree with me that most people live life without the thought of death to constantly ruin their moods, permit me to wonder why some people think theists chose to believe what they believe because of what might happen when they die.

This is the best theory on proofing the existence of God so far. We cannot honestly say there is no intelligent creator behind the scene. Its simply foolhardy to say a car with complex parts just existed without a designer or manufacturer.
This is why majority of persons who have ever lived throughout the era of humanity have believed in one form of God or the other.

too many things dont add up..

so God is outside of time and eternal and immortal and made us inside of time and mortal..

but the bible also said we were made in the image and likeness of God.. if God is eternal and we were made like God, why are we not eternal? Why do we live but for a short time while God is there b4 we were born, he is there while we live and there when we die and there after we die..
if the bible was serious and not being deceptive when it refered to us as being Gods.. for ye are gods.. why then are we not timeless or eternal?
God made time and space and made us in it.

It's okay if we don't understand how God can exist outside these things. It's only shows we are human.

The major problem with your entire surmise is that even before you started you had already concluded that there is God and your statements was only to support your view. For example, when describing what God is you took to the bible. The same bible that says only a fool says that there is no God without exactly trying to give incontrovertible evidence of God's existence beyond "faith".

You didn't exactly disprove the question of who created God either. If as you said something cannot come out from nothing, then it follows logically that God has a creator and must also have a beginning. You can't separate God from time since God has never at any point in history made himself known to the world except in religious texts.

A question, if at the beginning there was nothingness, at what point did God decide to change this state? And what term of reference does he have given there's no antecedents for creation?

My view is that the deepest secrets of the universe is unknownable with present human knowledge in all it forms whether spiritual or physical.

What if, hypothetically speaking, ET life exists and at a point in time earth comes in contact with other beings in the universe? And these ETs give us a fresh view of things? How will the bible or any other earthly religion be able to explain this?

Anyways, to each his own. We all continue to seek answers. Some of us are content to stick with what some of the religions offer. Some of us aren't.

A God who depends on man's sacrifices and praise must have been created. A God who gets angry, gets jealous, shows regrets, must have human nature.

Also, if God created us distinct from himself, how come he seems dependent upon us? Because, I still don't understand why He has to create us just so we can praise him and know his word.
God is not dependent on man. This is not true. However God is mindful of man.

If you agree that nothing does not produce something, why assert that something called god came into existence out of nothing and from nowhere? It's either you are confusing yourself or you don't want to be sincere with yourself. You have to choose one between "nothing results to something" or "nothing cannot result to something" and apply it throughout your argument than cherry picking on what your choice applies to and what it doesn't. That is insincerity!
What is wrong in saying "I don't know" by the way?

Now you want to create a new argument on space.
Who defines space and what it is? Is it not humans?
Why then do you want to argue space isn't human construct?
Maybe it is a supernatural construct I guess. You can tell me more undecided

You don't know and you don't know! So don't blame it on grammar.
You also want to blame it on your human instinct. All these while you have been explaining what you don't know as if you are an extraterrestrial being you didn't know you are human, right? undecided

The time when time never existed(if such time ever existed) is on its own a time! There is no 'magomago' about it

Even god too began to exist. How did I know? Same way you knew the universe began to exist

I agree! Same way something called god cannot emerge from nothing!
Something that existed out of nothing abi?
Likely? You are not even sure of this something. Then on the other hand, that something might most likely be dependent as well.
But you want to use same thought to define something you claim existed outside the confines of the universe.
But this is not the case for you, for you can define things that existed outside the confines of time and space. You must be a genius!

Saying he exists outside the logic of his creation makes me wonder if you are not his creation. Cos it was withing your logic to know this.

Againhuh But something called god came out of nothing na? undecided
It is better we don't make that assertion but simply admit we don't know! You are only trying hard to find quick and cheap answers to what you don't know. Relax!

if this is true, then you have been spending your time to explain what you don't know. Why not use the three words I DONT KNOW?

don't be shy to say I DONT KNOW!
You have totally missed the point of the thread. Have a great day.

When a theist is arguing with an atheist, theists don't waste time to acknowledge an intelligent design, to them, everything has a creator and so are humans.

God is an intelligent being, how did he come about? What prompted his existence? If God was created, who created his creator? If something triggered him into existence, what triggered the trigger? Trying to grasp this mystery of NO BEGINNING and NO END can spin our mortal mind. It's beyond our human comprehendsion. For there to be an effect, there must be a cause. But in the case of God, you might be looking at endless strings of infinity. Looking for the BEGINNING of life is like looking for the end of numbers. Some things are simply beyond us to matter how we grow in knowledge and enlightenment.
I think you have summed this up yourself my friend.

"Trying to grasp this mystery of NO BEGINNING and NO END can spin our mortal mind."

The first problem is assuming God has always existed. There's no proof for God always existing other than some verses in the bible. And we all know the bible has never been an impeccable source of information.
So that assumption is an argument from dogma.
This is not an assumption. I'm only stating that the Bible describes God as having always existed and Christians rightfully submit this. I didn't form these things out of my head.

Lol. We do not all know that the Bible is an impeccable source of information. That is a bogus statement.
Call it dogma, but some people seem to have concluded in their hearts that humans created the time and space constructs.

NPComplete:
Secondly if we are to believe that God has always existed, why is it hard to believe the universe has always existed in whatever form before it became the form we know of it now. Maybe this form we know of it is just our mental projection. And since our brains can't see beyond 3 spatial dimensions, it is plausible that our understanding of space time is skewed and limited. The universe may also be eternal for all we know.
Simple. We seem to now know that the universe has not always existed, thanks to Science.

And I like what you said "our brains can't see beyond 3 spatial dimensions, it is plausible that our understanding of space time is skewed and limited.

Maybe we know what we are supposed to know. I believe there is a lot we are still supposed to know.

NPComplete:
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with God Himself having a creator. I can live with it. And I imagine it is possible we also become creators ourselves after we leave this life. It might just be that that's the essence of life. Life birthing more life. Creators creating and getting created. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Well, I've made my point. And you do know that many of those theories you put up there have been proposed. It's okay though. If our imaginations were not allowed to run wild, it wouldn't have been created.
