Despite all the satanic gatherings raised from the pit of hell in the name of church, the CHURCH OF GOD STANDS SURE HAVING THIS SEAL: GOD KNOWS THOSE WHO ARE HIS. That someone scammed you in his god's name does not make CHRISTIANITY a scam.
Try whatever you may to blackmail the church, God keeps His church. He said, "The gate of hell will not prevail against the church". Christianity is a way of life - get it!

AgricultureDo We Need News Seeds Or Storage/processing Facilities? by winningwinner(op): 12:31pm On Mar 12, 2016
Nigerian farmers are always at the receiving end of bad government initiatives. Do you know that 60% of perishable goods produced in Nigeria get spoiled before getting to the final consumers? Do these farmers expect more seeds or an enabling environment that will help them remain in business and have value for their labour?
Just read this and tell me how you feel?

RMRDC distributes improved tomato seeds to Taraba farmers

The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) has presented improved tomato seeds to the Taraba State Government for onward distribution to vegetable farmers in the state.

Dr Huseni Ibrahim, the Director-General of the council, who presented the seeds to Gov. Darius Ishaku in Jalingo on Saturday, said that the venture was aimed at boosting tomato cultivation in the state.

Ibrahim was represented by Dr Sunday Onjewu, while the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr David Kassa, represented the governor at the event.

Ibrahim, who said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration intended to transform the nation’s economy via agriculture, urged the farmers to take due advantage of the current opportunity to turn around their fortunes.

“I urge all of you to take advantage of this opportunity to improve your standard of living and boost the country’s economy with massive production of tomato.

“The move is to check the huge importation of tomato into the country and strengthen the Naira for economic growth,’’ he said.

Ibrahim said that the council would monitor the cultivation and distribution of the seeds so as to ensure that the beneficiaries of the intervention were genuine tomato farmers.

Also Speaking, Dr Asanga Enefiol, the Director of RMRDC’s States Coordination Department, appealed to the state government to set up small tomato processing plants that would utilise the anticipated tomato yields.

Enefiol, who was represented by Alhaji Wali Lapai, said that the council selected Plateau, Taraba and Nassarawa State for the tomato project because of their great potential for tomato production.

In a remark, Alhaji Abdullahi Ahmed, the RMRDC Coordinator in Taraba, urged the state government to revive the Lau Tomato Processing Company to check perennial wastage in tomato harvests.

Receiving the seeds, Ishaku commended the RMRDC for the tomato project, saying that it was in line with his administration’s “Greenhouse Farming Initiative’’.

He pledged to ensure the judicious use of the improved tomato seeds so as boost tomato production in the state.

The governor thanked the council for facilitating the fulfilment his administration’s policy of creating platforms for employment generation in the state.

Fellow Nigerians,
I am writing this with a heart full of concern. Every day as I wake up, the first news report I get is about F-U-L-A-N-I and their brutality, causing disaffection all over the place. If it is not a case of rape today, it is farm distruction tomorrow. If it is not thousands of people killed, it is something different.
Please my people, who are the FULANIS in Nigeria? Do they have decency at all or were they born to inflict harm on others? A sensible people could have called themselves to order if there is no hidden agenda and total support from highly placed people. Why are these FULANIS behaving like this when they all belong to an organized body like Miyatti Allah?
Somebody should nudge me in case I am overstepping.
But come to think of it: is Nigerian security telling us that they cannot arrest this situation? By the way, where is the Nigerian Police? All they know is is to catch me, put me in smelly cell and collect my money for not answering a certain DPO's call by 10pm even though I do not know him from Adam.
The Police should lead the war against this and deliver us from this shame.
Fellow Nigerians, I am concerned about this daily unrest caused by these Fulanis. I do not know about you, but this issue is beyond compare, let's deal with it!

SENATE President, Bukola Saraki, yesterday, hinted that he would wear made-in-Aba materials to the Senate plenary on Wednesday.

This came on the heels of his call to Nigerians to support local entrepreneurs by patronising locally made products, saying the country’s economy can only grow through such action.

Saraki spoke when the Chief Executive Officer of Adic Designs Limited, Mr. Adiele Ekeke, presented to him 29 locally made fabrics which the Senate President ordered when he inspected the stalls of the participants at the Made in Aba Trade Fair, held in Abuja recently.

The Senate President, said he was happy that the Public Procurement Act was in the process of being amended to encourage Nigerian industries through the purchase of locally produced goods.

After receiving the 29 Made-In-Nigeria fabrics designed for him, the Senate President said he would spread the message to all his colleagues in both chambers to begin to patronise made in Nigeria products.

“On a serious note, we must all work together to help our local industries. A lot of people laugh about it, but it is a serious matter. I think that we should be very committed,” Saraki said, while adding that “‎this is how other countries started and and have been able to succeed. So let us join hands in supporting our own entrepreneurs.”

Saraki recalled that a few weeks back he joined Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe to attend the Made-In-Aba Trade Fair in Abuja.

He added: “We went round, looked at some of the products being made by Nigerians and we made a commitment then that we will definitely support the patronage of Made-In-Nigeria products by all.

“This might look like a small step in our action but it is very symbolic and we truly believe that it is time for us to drive our economy, stimulate jobs by encouraging and supporting our indigenous manufacturers.

“I have said that the National Assembly will support locally produced items from garments, wears and cars. I am also happy that the Public Procurement Act is in the process of being amended. It has gone through first reading and we hope that next week we will take the second reading,” he said.

He urged the Senate Committee on Trade and Investment to step up its oversight activities to ensure that most of the close to N4 trillion earmarked for expenditure by the Federal Government in the 2016 budget was spent to support local industries, “whether it is retail products, cars or technology and it will help a lot of our young people who are looking for jobs.”

He specifically promised to wear the clothes supplied to him from Aba to plenary next week Wednesday.

PoliticsHoneymoon Is Over: Buhari's Popularity Going Down Daily by winningwinner(op): 1:23am On Mar 12, 2016
I am not sure if all the people who shouted CHANGE are still on the same page with current Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari. Most Nigerians are angry that the promises of this present government to the people are far from being realised. That instead of tackling issues of importance, blaming past administration takes center stage. Nigerians are faced with MOTIONS yet without MOVEMENT. Here is what the news making rounds posits:

Nigerians blame Buhari for current state of nation

– Buhari’s popularity drops for 30% since last year

– The president scored low on jobs, economy, and power

– According to the poll Ibe Kachikwu remains the best minister

– Nigerians stop blaming the previous government for all nations’ problems

Many Nigerians have scored President Muhammadu Buhari low on jobs, economy, and power for the first time in months according to Governance Advancement Initiative for Nigeria (GAIN).

It’s the first time since December last year that a monthly poll that track the performance of governments at all levels in Nigeria, has recorded main approval rating slide.

Earlier the survey found that majority of Nigerians did not accuse President Buhari of Nigeria’s ongoing economic troubles. They blamed ex-president Goodluck Jonathan instead.

Meanwhile, the trend changed significantly in February as country’s economic crisis bit harder, in what the poll coordinators suggested that Buhari’s “honeymoon” is over.

Malcolm Fabiyi, one of the poll’s coordinators said: “The survey was administered using electronic media between February 22nd and 29th, 2016. A total of 757 complete responses were received. The survey results have a 4% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.”

The February survey showed that the president’s approval rating dropped drastically from 63.4% in January to 32.8%, and more Nigerians held Buhari responsible for the dwindling economy for the first time.

President Buhari scored low on jobs, economy, power, and rule of law. A huge 79% of respondents rated the administration’s handling of recurring clashes between herdsmen and farmers poor.

The survey also showed that the Nigerian senate maintained the lowest approval rating of all governmental institutions. The military received the highest rank as national institution.

Nigeria’s best minister so far is Ibeh Kachikwu, the minister of state for petroleum.

Under the “High” ranking response, security Boko Haram crisis was rated as the most important area of concern and/or interest by 55% of Nigerians, continuing the trend from the January poll.

The top 5 rated areas overall were security (55%), anti-corruption (51%), power (51%), economy and jobs (50%) and education (45%).

45% of respondents consider that the anti-corruption is working, however, the rank dropped from about 76% in the January poll.

62.6% of Nigerians indicated opposition to the devaluation of the naira.

For the first time since the Buhari came to power, more Nigerians held the incumbent administration responsible for the current state of the nation. In the February poll, 35% of Nigerians said that the Buhari government was “completely responsible”.

An increasing number of Nigerians continue to indicate that they do not support any political party.

Majority of the respondents disapprove government’s handling of Fulani herdsmen attacks.

Lai Mohammed, the minister of information, surprisingly takes the second place, while Kachikwu was again rated as the best minister in Buhari’s cabinet.

Muhammadu Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, was elected as Nigeria’s new president almost a year ago on March 28, 2015.

His electoral victory was outstanding because it marked the first time an opposition candidate defeat an incumbent president in Nigeria.

Buhari’s promise of change, which appealed to a majority of Nigerian voters, has become a source of hope for many Nigerians.

When he assumed office, Buhari asked for time to assess and clear some of the damage. He took all the time he needed, and now Nigerians are getting impatient. They can't tolerate his ever slow visionless leadership. What can Buhari hold as a defence to these angry citizens again....?

RomanceRe: Counter Thread: 10 Reasons Why Nigerian Girls Suck At Relationships by winningwinner(m): 11:32pm On Mar 11, 2016
lezz:
1) Nigerian women rank bottom last in the global desirability index!!!

2) They are the most unnatural in looks and physical appearance. Common, the hair isn't hers, neither are the nails or lashes. She spends half her time and 40% of her partners' resources in bleaching creams and personal accessories trying to be like a Caucasian woman.

3) She's_fucking expensive and naggy. She has to do her hair twice monthly, fixed her nails and toenails. She relishes eating out than preparing home-made meals.

4) She's less romantic and more dependent than her counterpart from other climes.

The typical Nigerian woman doesnt really know how to please a man in bed. She spends her entire time shopping for clothes she'll soon grow out of, because she eats more junk food in hangouts than she has the time to excercise away.

She is so impassive in bed like a drunken sponger, she actually gives you sex as an act of obligation. While her counterparts wants to take you balls deep.

5) When she marries you, she expects you to father her entire family along. A typical Nigerian girl won't see anything wrong in bringing 4 of her siblings to come live with you, but if you have just one of your sibling around, she will whine and scold and frustrate the life of your sibling.

6)An average nigerian girl loses her charms few years after she settles in the security of marriage. She doubles her sleep time and her weight balloons up , tommy sags, laps wrinkle and she floats around the house either with wrapper around her waist or an oversized, shapeless nightgown.

7) The average Nigerian university girl is a feminist-wana-be. And she doesnt even have the brain to grasp the concept of the word!!!

8} Let's be blunt, the hair of the average naija babe stink of stale sweat and dead cells!!! They don't even bother washing it. They cover it up with polythene when they bathe and it's almost air tight. That's why they wear perfumes and deodorants like corpse.

9) Only Nigerian babes ask for credit cards with which to call you. Where's the fun when you call me with my own money ?

10) Nigerian girls can never love your mother, yet they'll want you to mollycoddle their own mothers and be the Tarzan of their family.

These girls are not dependable and they have a knack for thinking they are the best thing to happen to mankind.

Can't even take them swimming, they need to go find what to cover their silly hair with. If the hair isn't wet and dripping , soaked to her skin like her swimming suit where the hell is the fun?

PoliticsFG Appoints Dakuku Peterside NIMASA Boss by winningwinner(op): 1:41am On Mar 11, 2016
Federal Government has appointed governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State in the 2015 election, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, as Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA. Peterside replaces Mr. Haruna Jauro, who was appointed about seven months ago on an acting capacity amidst controversies.

A statement signed yesterday by Director in charge of Press at the Federal Ministry of Transport in Abuja, Mrs. Yetunde Sonaike, said President Muhammandu Buhari has already approved the appointment of the new NIMASA helmsman. According to her, the appointment takes immediate effect.

Peterside, who had hoped to be sworn in as governor of Rivers State until last month’s Supreme Court judgment upholding the election of Nyesom Wike, holds a Doctorate Degree in Management Science from the University of Port Harcourt and a Masters Degree in Business Administration MBA. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, B.MLS, in Hematology from Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

Peterside is also a close friend and associate of the current Minister of Transport, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi. Prior to his appointment as director general of NIMASA, there were speculations that he might be sent to head the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

The appointment of Peterside also puts paid to all the scheming and lobbying of top party members, friends of the President, the minister and even traditional rulers in a desperate bid to clinch the plum job.

Among these lobbyists were the acting director general, who naturally wished to be confirmed as the substantive helsman and a former chairman of the agency, Alhaji Tijjani Ramalan, among several others.

The report of a 36-year-old gay South African dying of anal cancer may come to so many of us as nothing but a news story, but what transpired at the time of his death left much to be thought about.

He was heard calling upon God for deliverance. Does that mean that God holds the key to life and death? If yes, why do we chose to disobey God?

Now read this:

36-year-old gay South African singer, Koyo Bala, who is HIV positive has died at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, after battling with anal cancer for two years.

Koyo Bala was part of a pop gay group known as 3-Sum made up of Bala‚ Amstel Maboa and the late Jeff Moyo, who were popularly known in the South African entertainment industry as gay rights activists.

In a report obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria, Koyo Bala had disclosed publicly that he was HIV positive in 2011.

It was also disclosed that he was, earlier in 2014, diagnosed of anal cancer which he lived with for two years before it now claimed his life.

His last tweet about his illness in February reads: “I pray 2 God everyday 2 help me pass this cancer #itshard #pains #wontgiveup #canwinthisbattle #cantsleepofpains”.
