Bros where are you from? Anyway, thanks for this trash! You are now northern apologetic. Did you not remove a government from power majorly because of Boko Haram? Did you not vote in a government that promised you change from the status quo, which includes routing insurgency within two months? What is insurgency? Does it include Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, Kidnapping, etc? How many months are we into the new government? Even though north is larger than life itself your government who pledge to protect the lives and property of the citizens is doing nothing while lives are lost and you are clapping because you are not a direct victim of this evil act. Why people like you reason from the anus to allow the lies of this government continue unchecked while projecting themselves as saints? For God's sake, why feed Nigerians with lies? Think again......

Diamond Bank has informed the Nigerian Stock Exchange that its Chief Financial Officer Abdulrahman Yinusa has resigned.

According to the press release the resignation becomes effective after his garden leave which commenced on Monday, August 3, 2015.

According to the Bank, Mr. Yinusa had indicated his intention to pursue other interests and opportunities, and the board has accepted his resignation and wishes him success in his future endeavours.

Diamond Bank share price has lost 38% in value in the last one year and lost 30% this year alone.
The company has been reporting weaker earnings quarter after quarters with loan impairments taking its toll.

Something was actually wrong with the man's system of operation and that has been keeping the bank backward and so they asked him to resign. Just to give him soft landing

PoliticsRe: You Can’t Blackmail, Intimidate Us — PDP Tells Buhari by winningwinner(m): 12:43am On Jun 30, 2015
msmon:
The Peoples Democratic Party,
PDP, has said that no amount of
“intimidation, blackmail and
propaganda” by the Presidency
would stop it from demanding
that President Muhammadu
Buhari kick-starts government
and commence implementation
of his campaign promises for
which he was voted into office.
PDP had on Sunday said that
Mr. Buhari’s first 30 days in
office saw Nigeria only in
motion without movement.
Mr. Buhari promptly replied the
PDP saying he is taking his time
to clean the rot left by the party.

The PDP, however, said the
Presidency’s excuse of clearing
the “so-called Augean Stable” is
lame and diversionary noting
that it stands by its statement
that the delay is creating
loopholes through which some
persons claiming closeness to
the President have infiltrated
executive bodies, arm-twisting
and conniving with
unscrupulous elements in the
bureaucracy to syphon the
nation’s resources in the last 30
days.

The PDP National Publicity
Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in a
statement on Monday said the
party would not in any way be
cowed by threats and wild
allegations by the Presidency
into abdicating its responsibility
of speaking out as an opposition
party where the system is
derailing.

“The PDP and indeed all well-
meaning Nigerians were
appalled by the response from
the Presidency regarding our
call for prayers to enable
President Muhammadu Buhari-
led APC administration locate its
bearing, compose a government
and halt the prevailing
stagnation with its huge
negative impact on the system.
“Instead of addressing the issues
raised, the Presidency
descended to insults, abuses and
innuendos, a stance which not
only bears out the case made by the PDP but
also raises questions about the capacity of
this administration to shoulder the
enormous responsibility of governance.

“While we expect the present
administration to be serious about the fight
against corruption, probe and prosecute
each and everyone involved in such,
irrespective of their party leaning, we
restate that these must be done within the
ambits of the law and must not be used as a
witch-hunt ostensibly to discredit and
undermine the opposition. We therefore
caution against the current drama of
politicizing the issue of corruption in the
country.

“Furthermore, the analogy of the Augean
stable, is completely baffling to us at this
level as it goes to a great length to question
the capacity and the sincerity of those
around the president.
“In Greek mythology, Hercules in his
ingenuity took the task and efficiently
cleared the Augean’ stable in a day for
which he demanded a reward of a tenth of
fine cattle belonging to the king.

“Nigerians would not want to believe that in
the so-called clearing of the Augean stable,
although not delivering in one day,
President Buhari wants to play Hercules in
his demand, this time, by wanting to run the
government alone without the statutory
components of the executive as enshrined
in the constitution.

“We ask, is the so-called clearing of mess
responsible for his inability after 90 days of
winning an election to make up his mind on
rudimentary appointments such as
Secretary to the Government of the
Federation, Chief of Staff and his demand
for 15 Special Advisers as approved by the
PDP controlled Seventh Assembly since June
5, 2015?

“Perhaps we need to draw President
Buhari’s attention to the fact that while he
is busy clearing his imaginary mess on the
pages of newspapers, some persons
claiming closeness to him have in the last 30
days been piling up sleazes that also need
his attention in key agencies of government.
“Despite the absence of approving and
supervising officials, key income generating
institutions like NNPC, NIMASA, NPA, FIRS
and other strategic agencies have been
invaded by persons claiming to be friends
and associates of the President and this puts
to question the sincerity and seriousness of
the administration to affect the so-called
change upon which they rode to power.

“Auxiliary to this is the issue of the
construction of a helipad, amongst various
expenses and other major government
expenditure going on across board in the
last one month and without due supervision
as the eyes of the President cannot be
everywhere.

“We declare unequivocally that we do have
respect for the person and office of the
President especially considering his age and
status as an elder statesman. However, we
will like to make it very clear that the
President of the Federal Republic Nigeria is
neither a Sherriff in the Old Wild West nor
a military dictator in some Banana
Republic. He is an elected president under a
democratic setting.”

APC is still playing opposition, they need know that they are at the helm of Nigerian affairs. Where will these blames take them to? They have no excuse for being failures. Can someone help me tell Buhari that we are in democracy and not military regime. Help me tell him that the new place he finds himself is Aso Rock Villa, and not Dordan Barracks, where he wears jackboot and supports himself with gun to dish out command. This is leadership by consensus. Does he want to rule as a Dictator for one year before forming a democratic government? Nigerians are funny people. If this were to be Jonathan...? Hmmm! There could have been impeachment notice. Those who clamoured for, and voted for CHANGE are fast losing their patience. Jonathan must be laughing in Otuoke language by now. The only thing Nigerians keep hearing is complain from Mr. President, the same complain about empty treasury that made Nigerians vote for him. He keep repeating that without taking his seat to work. I heard that he's building a private airport in Daura where his private jet will be landing when many Nigerian workers have not been paid salaries for some months running. The only consolation Nigerians are receiving is the promise of a vague probe, when millions of probed reports are parking dusts in their respective counters. NNPC board has just been dissolved, some papers carried it that only northerners are qualified to head it back to back so that they can suck crude oil to their satisfaction. That is where their interests lie! NEPA is still not stable, and prepaid meters are not distributed. Federal workers are yet to receive their June salary! Our honourables in the National Assembly are still being selfish, may be the promised change will come after this regime!!! God help Nigeria!!!!!

abbccc:
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on Thursday interrogated Mr Mike Okiro, the Chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC) and five others over alleged N275.5 million fraud.

The commission also interrogated Insp. George Todonu, Okiro’s Orderly and Mr A.A Bisala, Chief Accountant of PSC, who reported at the ICPC headquarters, Abuja, in connection to the alleged fraud.

Mr E.C Ibe, Mr B. Bello and Mr Raymond Imiobi were also at the ICPC headquarters for interrogation in connection to the alleged fraud.

Okiro arrived at the commission at about 9.51 a.m. in a Black Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep with registration number T98 01FG (PSC).

A source at the ICPC headquarters who preferred anonymity said the invitation of Okiro and other staff of PSC followed a petition published in one of the national dailies.

He said the petition titled “Attempt to Swindle the Police Service Commission to the tune of N275.5 million”, was written by Mr Aaron Kaase, a Principal Administrative Officer at PSC.

The petitioner had accused Okiro of diverting N350 million sought from the office of the National Security Adviser for staff training ahead of the 2015 general elections to his personal use.

He said claims by Okiro that the training programmes were held in three separate lots for Abuja, Kano and Lagos staff of the commission were frivolous, adding that such trainings were never organized.

Kaase faulted Okiro’s claims on the ground that the staff strength of the commission was less than 400 as against 900 said to have benefited from the training.
He also accused Okiro of claiming DTA for journeys never embarked upon for himself and his aids. (NAN)

Many will agree with me that in the quest for us to see our team win a competition or match, they are extra miles we can go. I am not talking about extremism situations(like using voodoo or other alien powers) that can make the handler mad.
There are some signs that we put through either before, or during a football match or other sporting events to ensure that our team wins.

This signs vary depending on the individuals, some call it their 'lucky style', and when watching a match, they are sitted in that pattern, others, will put on a particular shirt of their football team, without this 'lucky signs' they are uncomfortable watching the game and may even play down their loss as the consquence.

Whenever my team FC barcelona are playing a match i always have the clubs hand band on my wrist, and my fingers crossed like a chain, with this i have full assurance that we will win, and even sometimes,i predict the score that we should likely win with. Sometimes, we lose the match, and i refuse to eat dinner as a result,(atleast everyday no b christmas),but when we win,it's as a result of the lucky move.

Have you got any lucky move or signs(sometimes very funny or strange) you pull through, hoping that your team will win? Lets share?.
Hmmmmmm!

PoliticsRe: 5 Reasons Why Wike Cannot Dissolve The Newly Elected LG Chairmen In Rivers State by winningwinner(m): 11:53pm On May 26, 2015
NgeneUkwenu:
These are the reasons why Wike will not dare to dissolve the newly elected LG Chairmen without going through the tedious route of the Judiciary.

1. Rule Of Law: Barring any unforeseen circumstances, May 29th will mark a Turning point in Nigeria's nascent democracy, when the amiable and people general Muhammadu Buhari will return to power the second time. Buhari known for his strict adherence to Rule of Law will not condone any act of brigandage from Nyesom Wike or any of his lieutenants, and wike will not like to dare him either. Whatever it is wike feels about the election should be channeled through the court just like Peterside Dakuku, his main rival in April 11 election was advised to do.

The Police and Lawful Order: Just like the first point above, No commissioner of police Under the government of Buhari Post May, will be willing to carry out any unlawful order that is contrary to the Rule Of Law. So Wike's hope of using the police or the military to effect the removal of the LG Chairmen will collapse on his head.

Tinubu's Treatment: Should Wike goes ahead to square up with Buhari's commitment to the Rule of Law by unilaterally dissolving or removing the Local Chairmen, I am sorry, Wik e will have to make to do with State's allocation to fund the local governments, as the statutory allocation for the LG will be kept in a special account pending when normalcy and legitimacy returns to the LG.

Absence Of Jonathan and His Wife: Wike may have been used to the life, where he gets everything arranged, fixed and cornered for him, owing to the impunity in governance of his "Jesus of Okrika" and her husband are noted for. This time around, he will have adjust to a new life, where his supposedly enemy, the Lion of Ubima, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi will be fully and firmly in charge of the "home affairs". So no cover for the "Wicked" here!

The Law Of Karma: In a saner Clime, person like Wike would have been cooling in himself in one of the dilapidated prisons dotting our land, pending when the State DPP finish preparing his murder charges. But hell no! This is a Nigeria of PDP, where murderers, Drug Peddlers, thieves and ex Convicts are rewarded with public posts to keep them afloat. Or how else could one best describe a situation, where someone who has been universally adjudged to have benefited from the worst electoral process in Nigeria, in which more than 94 Nigerians were alleged to have been killed, coming out to say he was not going to accept a mere LG election, because his party was defeated or he was not allowed to make use of the State machineries?

Consequently, with above points in mind, there is no way, Wike should unilaterally contemplate of dissolving the newly constituted LG authorities without recourse to the Rule Of Law by going to the court to seek redress.

Article written by Miss NgeneUkwenu:
If what you wrote here is true, why did Amaechi have to wait till the end of his tenure to impose local government chairmen on the incoming government of Wike? Wike and Amaechi who deserves blame - the one who did the illegalilty and the one who comes to correct it?

You people are always talking about jail all the time meaning that Buhari will not follow due process to jail people. Anyway, I will not be surprised if like the military man he was, he can come on board and pounce on his perceived enemies without first proving them wrong through the instrumentality of the law courts. When Nigerians tasked Buhari on his campaign promises he said he can't perform miracle and the likes of you defended him that change is not a rocket science. Now I understand, you now call on him to jail those of his enemies as a matter of urgency, without giving them opportunity to defend themselves.
