Owerriboi: I am not yabbing imo but I am saying the truth even though I am from imo state. Imo state is a poor state with poor people. Anambra is the economic power house of the eastern Nigeria. GDP of Nnewi alone is bigger than entire imo state. See the authentic GDP as released by NBS, Anambra is competing with states like Lagos and Rivers State not a village like imo You’re just a bullshit talker, Budgit has just released the latest figures confirming Imo state to be the fourth richest state in Nigeria and you’re debating, who are you to debate that? Even the NBS you’re talking about relies on Budgit’s stat when making their comprehensive report. And for the record, I’m from Anambra state in Adazi Nnukwu, Imo tops the chart above anambra and that’s the truth. Your ranting can’t change that |

Owerriboi: Stop deceiving yourself. Imo state has the lowest GDP in southern Nigeria, while Anambra is the fourth largest GDP in Nigeria. See the official Gazetted report by the NBS. Also look at the poverty ranking. Commonsense should tell you that imo is a poor state. You don't claim you have high GDP by mouth, but it is by content. Please mention what you have in imo state, almost nothing. The biggest economic activity in imo state is commercial sex hawking, is that where you got the GDP? You are full idiot Chino. I know you’re so pained to see Imo topple Anambra. You’re using an old figure to make comparisms when Budgit, a reputable research organization has brought its latest ranking, because it doesn’t Favour your useless ego, doesn’t make the statistics a lie. Till thy Kingdom come, Owerri will always be the richest state in the southeast and fifth richest country in Nigeria. Know that and know peace |

pacesetterz If you like yab Imo state from now till tomorrow, it won’t change the fact that she’s the fifth biggest economy in Nigeria in terms of GDP, having a GDP per capital that’s probably the highest. She’s the richest state in southeast even Anambra won’t dare to compare herself to her. Imo state is huge in oil and gas and has a growing manufacturing and hotel industry. Know that and know peace. Why is Imo State GDP higher than those of Anambra, Ogun and Delta States? These states have more industries and economic activities than Imo State. Imo state is rich in oil and gas. They have growing manufacturing and hotel industry |

I was in your shoes not long ago. It can be depressing but don’t let it get to you. Try to improve on your self, set new goals, gain newer and more relevant skills and reapply in the job market. Trust me, they’re still jobs been advertised everyday in Nigeria. Just improve on your relevant skill and you’ll be reabsorbed shortly into the Labour market Above stick to eating fruits and vegetables, it helped me to improve my mood and cope with the depressive feeling. Ask science. Population is richness but you are in the north especially northeast and northwest is ranked as the most poverty-stricken locations in Nigeria and probably west Africa. Why couldn't you guys transform ur huge populations to wealth? You guys are only useful for political games and after that back to the streets begging. Of what use is your population when it doesn't have sufficient purchasing power to buy goods and services. |

Let's see if only the West would make him win the presidential election. Funny thing is that most educated westerners are rooting for Obi. What happened at the N.B.A conference yesterday should be an eye opener to fools like you who think Tinubu has 100% control over the west. Already all northern Christians are on lock-down for Peter Obi, including the South-South and South-East. Obi is winning this. You talk a lot. There’s confidence in silence. Stop being revealing. There’s no guarantee those folks Kwankwaso pulled up might even turn up to vote him on Election Day. Even Obi can pull a crowd like that if he’s there too. babzo: Hmmm. We love deceiving ourselves in Nigeria or maybe it's our politicians that their tongues are just too sweet.
Osinbajo may be a good man, but what exactly did he achieve in 8 years, or his boss Buhari?
Now another group of Nigerians are intoxicated with the new guy in town Peter Obi who is promising Heaven and Earth. If he could do that, why in 8 years was he not able to provide in Anambra heaven and Earth?
- Does Anambra have pipe borne water in all homes * something that's common in homes of normal countries) - Did he eradicate armed robbery? Did he tar and maintain State Roads? -Did Anambra public schools become world standard or are they still like the poultries that most public schools in Nigeria look like? - Was able to make Anambra self sustaining and not relying on FG money? - Did he build a world class hospital or motivate some one to do it, a hospital that he would be comfortable going to?
And to the Tinubu people who keep saying Tinubu Made Lagos, how? Same Lagos that everyone pays for their own borehole, security, private schools, electricity? If Tinubu was so good, why has not been able to transform the other States, his people became Governor like Osun? Or is it just because Lagos is already rich? Then anyone could do what he is said to have done in Lagos! Definitely these men Atiku, Obi and Tinubu are better by a million times than Buhari; but nothing exceptional about them based on their past and plans. At the bolded statement, I laugh at folks that say Lagos is rich. A sub national government who’s capital budget for a year is barely above 1 billion dollars if not less considering the Naira devaluation. The budget to be spent on a population of more than 23 million people, very laughable. Johannesburg is budgeting close to 4 billion dollars for a population of just about 13 to 14 million folks and even that it’s still not sufficient according to the Provincial Government of Joburg and people are talking about the Lagos success story, what success story? The only thing keeping Lagos head above water is her population which draws businesses. Even the population In itself is increasingly depressed and lack that consumer spending power that it once had prior to 2015. Lagos is not rich, it’s not even successful at the moment. It’s only looked promising on paper but that promise has been just that, a promise. A population that is largely poor can’t make a city like Lagos rich. |
