All the very best for the new year
hmmm try to get away from that freezer of England...i was actually in England last wknd...i had to cry my head back to my Cyprus island...i was greeted with flu at Liverpool...but felt surprise still found some guys looking like Jamaican still playing guitar by road side and few people dropping in coins in that deadly cold....i hail you guys alot.

dfutbolar: to mr wip and oda gurus on this thread. Kindly educate me. I ave read tru dis thread very well and i dnt tink dis questn has bin asked.
Pls if one month transit visa is wat we are issued, den wat does dis imply? Meaning within dt one month we must arrive north cyprus? After dt does it mean we cannot leave and easily come bck to north cyprus? Or we ave to apply for another transit visa if we come down to nigeria? Or a multiple entry transit visa? Or once we ave the stamp of north cyprus resident permit we dnt need a transit visa again? Thanks i will appreciate if anyone can enlightens me.
After your registration with the respective university, you should apply for residence permit which could be for 1-2yrs and you can renew if it expires. The valid permit allows students to travel in and out of the country..therefore you dont need to apply for visa anymore unless you run out of validity.

olasco_akon: hi,mr wip7. now enjoying cyprus but the weather is so cold and we no want on our heater becos our bill go rise.lng tym
Yes its quite cold and you can choose to on your heater or not depends on your current financial situation and i heard gas heater seems cheaper than electric but hv not used that before. Get more thick winter cloths, you can also try hot vodka and get some winter soup...wish u gdluck!

onedebos: Mr.Wip naaa. You are not encouraging us to be independent. Pls open up some of these your initiatives to students who have taken the time to do the run around and the application for themselves. I'm sure there're some great students out there and it'd be of great mutual benefit if your scheme is opened up to accomodate a little more people than those within your sphere.

Pls consider.
Thanks for your suggestion, i think i will inform EMU if they can do same.........for now am not actually running charity but i have decided to employ graduates and the factory in full operation will employ 300-500 workers. I have decided to give out from my own money to assist talented and hardworking students. I have come up with the ideas that these benefits will be centered on people that apply via WIP. 3 students were given brand new laptops from WIP last semester ( you can meet them when you arrive at EMU). The money comes from my WIP pocket not EMU... if you apply directly to EMU you should expect EMU to do same for you... as a talented incoming student you can also table this before the BOD of EMU...... dont forget we have bunch of agents that ripped OFF students money and do they give them anything back ?? no no.....i do everything free for the student and still giving them a rare benefits hmmmmmmmm thank me young man!!!

onedebos: before i go on to answer this question,i just want to point out to you that if you had taken just 7mins to read pg129 and 130 you'd have seen the answer to your question. We are trying to make this thread progressive whereby answers are provided to novel questions only.

Ans: the names of those who have recieved confirmation letter has been sent to the embassy in Abuja and the consular should be in receipt of the names this week.
Mr.wip cannot and will not tell you whether on nl,email or otherwise if your name is on the list due to existing internal protocols except perharps in cases where the student applied through him.
You're adviced to contact the registrar to get the lowdown on the including of your name. Now my brother, contacting the registrar is another wahala as they never seem to reply.

Hope that answers your question!
Thanks for your help....am suspecting you will be a good student

Cookies232: Thanks, not through Mr Wip but stil there is nothing i'v not done; infact, i applied again n I was givn admissn again too but still there is no acceptance letter; my agent and I had mailed d sch, d response we always get is 'Very soon' Just tired.
You will not get acceptance letter cos of double or multiple applications, which application number do you want the system to generate on your acceptance letter? the first application number you got when your agent applied or the last one you got when you apply? how do you want the computer to choose? This is one issue we had with those rejected visa last semester and those have troubles entering at the immigration.

I have checked against your name: your name has submitted 4 different applications and its really difficult for the system to choose...dont forget EMU receive over 100 applications weekly. I have informed the admn officer and if i hav time b4 end of this week i will ask on on your case or better yet ask your agent to call the university.

If I may ask do you have an agency maybe I can apply through you?
Or any of your contacts to get in touch.
Kindly read the bold part well below:

wip7: The cheaper universities are the state institutions (e.g Bogazci, METU, Sabanci, Mamara, ITU, Fatihi universities). These state universities are highly ranked and funded by the Government. The little challenge is most of the programs are conducted with Turkish Language while some of the universities have good numbers of English medium programs (METU, Bogazci etc). To gain admission into the state universities as a foreign applicant, you will need to conform and pass the eligible scores to some exams such as SAT, TOEFL (for undergraduate) and GRE/GMAT, ALES (for graduate applicants). The state universities fees ranges between 1000-1500usd per semester and with minimal accommodation fees depending on region. Turkey is an industrialized nation with bunch of industries located around her cities...so is termed a good business zone. Jobs may be quite scarce for individual with lack of Turkish language or culturally different compared to those that are competent. Also, minimum wages are quite low compared to European and American countries but by far higher than African countries. Typical illustration; A laborer (unskilled) earns 50-60TL per day, skilled craftmen (80-90 TL), Police 1300-1400TL and teacher 2000-5000Tl depends on positions and qualifications although this may commensurate with the living expenses.

They ve got rich and Mediterranean style of cuisines, food and vegetables and one of the most popular most-eat is Kebab and Ayran...although most claimed Islam as their religion with quite large number of historical mosques but their living style may not reflect this claim. The country immigration law is simple and strict, most have traveled to Turkey in search of green pasture but the pasture sometimes are not always green and they have ended up in long jail house. Without Turkish tax number or legal residence permit, most transactions will be difficult.

The visa procedure for the Turkish Universities can be found on Any Turkish embassy website close to the applicant locations and the procedure are well written for easy understanding. To apply to the Universities, it will do you good to visit the university website for deadlines, application requirements and procedure and you can inquire about the scholarship from the university international center or office related to this.

Am quite sure this will help and wish you luck in your quest!!!!

onedebos: See Mr.wip is selective about the emails he replies to whether or not it pertains to questions he has previously answered. I suppose he is constantly bombarded with irrelevant emails and this has somehow influenced and caused a reduction in the frequency and tenacity of his responses.

For example I'm still awaiting a response from him as regards how one can be sure his/her name is in the first batch of names to be sent to the embassy. He is yet to get back to me on this.

I know some might quote his previous thread on the issuance of confirmation letters and the subsequent forwarding of those names to the embassy but if you carefully peruse that particular post, you'd notice that the information pertained to those students he applied for and not for students who took the iniative to proceed with the application themselves.

Mr.wip, I highly commend you for the great help you've offered to various students on this thread and the intuitiveness of your responses. I do ask that you kindly take time to reply to certain messages like mine which are mature, important and necessary. I believe at times, due to your vast experience in academia and your qualifications, your definition of what constitutes an IRRELEVANT or IMMATURE email or question will differ greatly from what a young man like myself would define as one.
Thanks for understanding my points.

Aspa your query....i will email you as soon as i return to town and i dont think you will have any probs with that.

msnnn1: Sir i have it in mind to come to Cyprus just for 2 month but my question is this sir can i get a job for this 2 month i plan staying in Cyprus and which of this north Cyprus or South is better. Please everyone i need advice on this,Thanks
Why not invest that money you wish to waste to start even is Potato or vegetable farming in Nigeria? It will be more lucrative than traveling to Cyprus to hustle....dont mind me i own a big farm so the profits is huge (its just my own advice).

worry 359: Mr wip7 has said HUNDREDS of times.
Only come to Cyprus North or South if you have funds for accomodation.
It is not a place for husslers!
Go back and read the thread from the start.
Thanks, most people will never read the thread and most younger generations from Nigeria dont like to take instructions and precautions.

I sent you an email yesterday i did not hear back from you sir my name is Emmy,Hope to hear back from you sooner
Thanks
Am sorry Mr Emmy.......i dont reply all emails...i only reply selected emails that i find in my main column cos am busy entity and i have paid subs with my email provider to SPAM all emails dealing with work abroad, drugs, click, marriage etc...so any emails asking about work abroad gets into my SPAM and infact your email is currently in my SPAM box which i only visit once a while....

To answer your query, dont waste your money on such risky adventure...first you wont be issued visa to work in either of the Cyprus and even you do, there are thousands citizens and residents looking for job.

But I just checked my Admission Status now and its giving me an "Application not submitted" message, and the files I attached in my application are "missing". Should I be worried about this? And too, is there any other way I can submit my application without going through there website? Its okay... it wont affect your application provided the affidavit is submitted alongside your applications... Why i asked when you wrote ur olevel is that, we have cases of those claimed to be less than 25yrs but wrote WAEC in year 2000. Mathematically is not possible!!

I want to apply to EMU next year, but before I take any step, there is DOB error. that is, d day is correct but d month and year is not. i heard it takes a year or more than before the error is corrected if one go to the WAEC office, but i ve the court affidavit available. all other necessary document is correct, hope it wont affect my chances of admission or visa?
Are you less than 25yrs? which year did you write your olevel exam? this will also help us to check genuine applicants based on affidavit submitted alongside the application.
