PoliticsHerdsmen And Cattle Migration; Unsustainable In Nigeria by Wisefellow(op): 4:56pm On Jan 23, 2021
Herdsmen rares cattle for profit making and that makes them business men. The major way of raring the cattles accross West-Africa and Nigeria inclusive is becoming a pain in the neck of both herders and farmers of host communities. Movement of these animals for feeding across farms and communities are no longer sustainable and Federal government of Nigeria is turning a blind eye to recent disturbing vices as a result of this. Killings, fighting, destruction and insecurity associated with this way of business needs urgent redress for a lasting solution.

In this modern time, cattle raring business must be approach in a modern way for progress and development of all. My concern is why is government keeping quiet over cattle migration business? If not checked, a time will come things may boomerang beyond control as a result of incessant community clashes with herdsmen in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Father: How Solomon Emmanuel Akuma Was Arrested By Security Operatives by Wisefellow(m): 1:13pm On Jan 13, 2021
It is pathetic and unfortunate to hear the security operatives detained the young Nigerian for a post based on assumption, claiming threat to life of president and Kyari. The expected is for the security agent to call him to order verbally.

It is ridiculous! Resources deployed in arresting the man has gone to waste. On daily basis, Nigerians out of anger and frustration rain curses on our political leaders for continuous impoverishment, neglect, mismanagement and corruption. We all know the young man, like every other Nigerian, is unhappy about situation of things in the country.

Where is Kyari? Dead! Just like every human, death is inevitable. Or can the operatives arrest or question God who created death? Power belongs to God not men.

Nigerians should learn to respect decision made individually or privately. Migration is not for all. No matter the situation, some people are still making the best out of our worst situation.

Happiness, comfort and prosperity is all we seek as people in Nigeria or outside country.
FamilyRe: Why Husbands Have Become Scarce - Blueprint by Wisefellow(m): 9:54pm On Dec 22, 2020
The scarcity of husband in Nigeria can be attributed more to bad economic situation, unequal gender ratio, social disintegration and immorality. In developed countries, same issue persist with better employment opportunities, functional institutions and many good features of ideal society.

In marriage, some government policies and culture encourage equality of gender as against God's dictate to humanity. Also, morals and virtues are considered less important compared to affluence and material possession believed to sustain marriage. What a wrong notion and misplaced priorities! Polygamy is highly unwelcomed amidst the present generation compared to our parents and the generation before theirs. Baby mamas and papas are the order of the day. Attitude and character are less important compared to wealth possession for sustainability.

Until we change our ways and follow the masterplan of The Almighty, things will go south the more. What is the reason for marriage? Marriage is a constituted authority ordained by God on mankind, who are matured in love, heart and goodness to become one family for the purpose of progenies and happiness. Man must love his wife, provide and protect the family, while wife, the helper, must respect and care for her husband. When the two partners fulfilled their obligation towards each other as commanded, then they can happily make love to bear children whom are mostly blessed under that circumstance.

A disintegrated society should expect worse situation of loneliness, competition, supremacy of personality in contrast to love, togetherness, equal gratification and happiness for all. Both guys and ladies of marriageable age must ask the question, I my ready in all ramification for marriage? Marriage is love, tolerance, patience, compromise, sacrifice and togetherness irrespective of wealth, sex and children. When wealth, sex or children are placed ahead of love, patience, compromise, sacrifice, tolerance and prayer in marriage, break down is inevitable!
PoliticsRe: 2023: Nigerians Have Rejected APC, Says Makinde by Wisefellow(m): 9:43am On Dec 18, 2020
We are rejecting both APC and PDP because they have failed.

Nigerians, be wise! No more recycle of same old politicians whom have bastardized our progress as a nation due to self enrichment of themselves, friends and associates only, be it as president or legislators.

All these old men cannot offer the modern and better Nigeria we crave for ourselves, our children and generation unborn. Buhari has failed Nigerians and Atiku is not different. Same goes for Tinubu. Ex governors have turned National Assembly to retirement house without meaningful contribution. All these old politicians should give space for new breeds of politicians.

Please where are the other parties apart from APC/ PDP? Does it mean their candidates have all been sleeping? Nigeria needs someone capable to make our institutions better. Competency above tribalism, wealthiness, religion or ethnic divide must be priority of choosing presidency candidates by all political parties and allow people vote based on competency ratio.

Unfortunately, these same set of politicians have impoverish majority of Nigerians, kept various institutions under their nose for non-functional and use the ill gotten wealth to rule the political space for their selfish gains.

Come 2023 election, the youths must rally round and support candidates with genuine purpose of development and not all these old polithievcians!

Enough is enough, for our tomorrow's sake!

If it doesn't bother you, why are men the ones always creating threads like this?

Women are not dumb or naive anymore. Many women have come to realise they are better of and happier single than married because marriage is very burden some for them. You can't be the homemaker 100% and still share his responsibilities by half. It stresses and ages them. And if nairaland men are the mirror of the men they have to deal with it, even more reasons to stay single.
Many women have come to realise they are better of and happier single than married because marriage is very burden some for them... perhaps the separated/ divorsed couples and not the ones happy in marriage.

You can't be the homemaker 100% and still share his responsibilities by half. It stresses and ages them.... I agree absolutely! Men should love and appreciate such women. The women in question did all out of love, for love supercedes and that does not make them less inferior but extra ordinary.

I urge you all not to give-up easily because the good ones are still out there.

FamilyAlarming Rates Of Unmarried Ladies And Men Is Worrisome, Way Out Please? by Wisefellow(op): 11:15am On Nov 18, 2020
As a matter of concern, our society is now experiencing high rate of singles whom are of marriageable age but still very much unmarried either by choice or circumstance. This is more prevailing with the women compared to men accross developed and developing countries.

Marriage is an institution ordained by God for humanity to procreate and multiply in this world with consent of parents or guardians. Though not everyone will get married as some will never attain marriageable age due to death, while others may not marry out of choice or circumstances beyond their control. Single parenting is the order of the day. Marriage, like every other thing, has the good and bad side depending on the perpective. So why are people shying away?

Vehicles are expensive but do get damaged, faulty or have accident and people still buy, enjoy and carefully maintain them. As the owner/ driver, its your choice! Same similitude goes with marriage, the couples are the joint owner/driver. Can two walk together unless they agree?

What are the roles of parents to better the situation? What role is the government playing to address this menace distorting family creation? Is it people themselves that needs to ammend their ways because right attitude to life with respect and humility results to love which most people, unfortunately, does not possess?

I am really worried about this situation.

Be honest with yourself, do you know for certain that Seyi Makinde govt. will revisit or remember the slain family again after compensation?

I commend the visit but the N1m compensation compared to N100m to Soun's palace is extremely poor considering life cannot be replaced unlike the so called properties.

Can N1m restore the dead? The properties destroyed from footage shown on tv were window and door glasses, car windshield and a centre table to mention few, which warranted N100m.

I expected more from the government because he has lost a citizen of the state.

PoliticsRe: Comparison Of SARS To RRS Officers Of NPF Amidst The #endsars Protest by Wisefellow(op): 7:07am On Oct 14, 2020
RRS officers are the ideal team for the newly created unit, SWAT, while majority of the defaunct SARS officers should be subjected to serious psychological and medical evaluation by independent body/ organisation and not police because I do not trust police institution.

IGP is willing to push the SARS boys to the SWAT unit. It will not work! We want right thinking educated balanced operatives in SWAT and not bad corrupt weed smoking officers in default SARS.

IGP must reconsider for better Nigeria.
PoliticsComparison Of SARS To RRS Officers Of NPF Amidst The #endsars Protest by Wisefellow(op): 11:14pm On Oct 10, 2020
SARS and RRS officers are men of Nigeria Police Force with quite number of differences in uniform and appearance, personnel trainning ,operations as
and culture with respect to modern policing. In recent time, I observed some officers from these two units with keen interest and below are my subjection.
Appearance: Here in Lagos, I see RRS officers in their neatly ironed fitted police uniforms with name tag and badges for easy identification. While SARS are seen roughly dressed in casual wear, Jean, shirt & Jacket with SARS inscription and look horrible as most of them do illicit drugs. Some also wear dreads, pierce ear and behave rude to common man on the street.

Civil Conduct: RRS men conduct themselves properly when relating to people and show empathy when there are challenges. On third mainland bridge, I experienced vehicle breakdown and RRS officers came around to ensure safety of people on board until repair is completed. Also during #EndSars protest in Ikorodu today, RRS patrol vehicle was carrying protesters who looked tired and ensured no compromise in protection of lives and property. While SARS, on the other hand, address citizens unprofessionally without regard to being guilty or not. SARS officers have non-challant attitude with criminal mind orientation towards citizens which results to illegal arrests, detention and extortion.

Operation Vehicles: I observed that most RRS patrol vehicles around are always in good order and their drivers do not drive recklessly in order to keep it in good condition. I stand to be corrected! Whereas SARS often use either unplated private car or mini bus which usually look rough. Guess its part of their covert operation strategy.

Brutal Killings: Men of the RRS are rarely known for cases relating to extra judicial killings or weapon misfiring causing deaths of innocent lives. Whereas SARS have recorded quite number of brutal killing of arrested individuals especially youths without justification or remorse. A video of a SARS officer saying he would waste 29 bullets on protesters whom wish to kill or harm him and in turn, kill himself with the last bullet shows the orientation they share.

In my opinion, SARS should be disbanded, subject her men to re-evaluation and reorientation and a new unit be created with new well oriented psychologically sound policemen be recruited. Also, NPF needs reform, re-orientation and training and retraining of personnel to meet the needs of modern policing in this century.

Are some people or uniform men above the law? Why would men in uniform especially police, military and paramilitary drive on BRT lanes and go easily while a civillian will be arrested, vehicle siezed and fined if not jailed. Its highly unfair and wrong because I see it everyday on our road.

Supremacy of the law is key and everyone must be law abiding including the so called LASG Task force whom are culpable too.

For what purpose are Nigerians being deceived by our government?

What is so difficult to make our refineries functional at full capacity again and get power generation and supply right?

Its disheartening to know we have elders in government and yet, we still can't get things right in 2020. I am sad and worried that none of these people in power at all level of government really mean well for Nigerians.

With abundance of crude oil in Nigeria, the past and present government have continued to export crude oil and import refined products for our domestic consumption with no geniune will to make our refineries work again at 100% capacity.

Is it a deliberate effort by people in government not to make refineries work or the oil marketers sabotage or is it a curse?

Dangote refinery under construction can not supply our domestic needs alone. Failure of governments is really killing Nigeria or maybe I am wrong. Please share more light.

The Maker of mankind and all living things as well as non living things.

Nigeria, as a country, needs you now more than ever!
I am one of the millions of Nigerians calling you day and night for redirection of prosperity, unity and leadership in our land.

Oh God of Creation!
You know and watch our leaders, past and present, fail Nigeria over and over again.
The majority of our people are suffering and looking up to you for your divine intervention.

Oh God, The Helper!
Please help Nigeria, the leaders and people as well as our land.
Rescue us from sufferings inflicted by the few whom have sold their souls to devil out of selfishness.
Lift us above the suffering as people and unite us in love, prosperity for all and wisdom.

Oh God Almighty!
You are the Forgiver of sins.
Please forgive our sins and grant us leaders amongst ourselves.
Leaders that are selfless, honest, devoted and committed to bring prosperity to the people and our land.
Provide for Nigeria, leaders with wisdom and direction.

Truely, leadership is not age but wisdom, knowledge and vision in right direction.
Oh God, the Light of the world and beyond!
I pray, as directed, to call on you to heal Nigeria and her people.
Save us from our present state of selfishness, greediness, materialistic minded, uncaring and non chalant attitude, oppressive tendecies, me and my family only attitude, ruthlessness and destructive way of living in the land.

Grant us mercy!
Change our leaders for good.
Change our people for better.
Shine your light on us as people of the land for peace, love, prosperity and unity.
Make us live the way we wish for others.
Open the eyes and heart of our leaders to love Nigerians above themselves.
Help both the young and old in Nigeria to put the country above any other thing.
Please destroy the spirit of stealing and unworthy means of acquiring wealth amongst us.
Restore dignity, confidence in hardwork and recorgnition of worthy rewards in our land.

Oh God of Creator!
In you I trust to guide us right in Nigeria.
I believe this country, Nigeria, shall rise and be great again even when majority feel otherwise.
You are the One that restores life back to the dead!
I believe You shall restore life back to Nigeria.
Where leaders will walk amidst the people without feeling unsecured with no armed guards.
Our leaders shall have change of heart in the interest of the people.
There shall be no discrimination between the rich and poor, the young and old, the less priviledge and the buttered irrespective of gender, colour, ethnicity, religion, education or region.
We shall have a Nigeria for all and sundry for peace, prosperity and love.
The land shall be filled with milk and honey, goodness and togetherness.

CrimeCrimes, Perpetrators And Justice; Nigeria Must Get It Right! by Wisefellow(op): 4:14pm On Jul 14, 2020
As old as accient days, crimes were and still being perpetrated by people accross the world irrespective of race, culture, region, religion and government with little or no appropriate corresponding justice. Globally, the recorgnized institution and authorities that have the sovereignty and power from the people to pronounce justice accordingly without bias are failing in their duties as crime is on the increase while some perpetrators busily flunt the proceeds and feel untouchable. Is there any being above God's justice? Belief of many is that crime is part of life and knows no bound. Government authorities frown at it and discourage citizens from indulging in crime with establishment of legislation, institution, structures, personnel and programs towards realisation of crime-free society. How free of crime is the society we are today?

With existence of all establishment aforementioned, can we boast of a crime-free Nigeria? Recently from local news, we hear of different allegation of corruption, misappropriation and embezzlement of public funds and resources accross private and public-serving officials, saddle with responsibilities of upholding integrity, dignity, honesty and service to humanity in the interest of overall development of our dear nation. Unsurprisingly, the international communities have serious concern about Nigeria's fight against corruption. In my opinion, crime fighting is responsibilty of all, however, some people are more proclaimed, assigned, empowered and paid to physically as well as legally battle and eradicate crimes to the bearest minimum if not totally.

In the past, the major law violators covertly and discretly carryout their evil and selfish intension e.g thieves, body-part ritualists, fraudsters, armed robbers, hard-drug dealers and smugglers to mention few, still put into consideration their family name and image in the society. But nowadays, majority of our public serving officials directly or indirectly loot and misappropriate the country's resources via skewed award of contracts and contract over-inflation. Ghost workers are predominant in labour market/salaries but thanks to biometric verification database and treasury single account which reduced this anomaly. Capital projects are mostly used as pipeline to siphon money to individuals. For some, nepotism is the order of the day with no regard to supremacy of the law and constitution in carrying out their civic functions. Above all, the stupidity in the show-off of ill-gotten gains/wealth in form of mansions, luxurious & flamboyant lifestyle and unnecessary lavish events. I doubt if they remember the phrase" vanity upon vanity"! The question I keep asking is where did we get it wrong as a country?

Cultist, Fraudsters, Drug smugglers, hooligans, prostitutes amongst many others are glorified and recorgnized as successful in our society. God punish poverty! What a mentality? How did we find ourselves in this state? Is it the society, people or our leaders to blame? I stand to be corrected, no amount of ill-gotten wealth and fame supercedes God of Justice. There is time to reflect our ways, for good. There was a time in this country that the regions, ethnic, culture and religious differences were bonding factor for love, growth and development of Nigeria with emphasy on unity and progress of all. I feel pain to see the damages being caused to our children and generation unborn as a result of shift in idea of integrity and love to materialsitic nature of what I own.

Please what is the role of judiciary in Nigeria? In my thought, to uphold justice in civic matters and to strenghten the supremacy of rule of law. How true is the phrase" no money, no deserved justice"? I want to believe there are quite disciplined and sound law practioners whom holds integrity and justice dearly to their heart without compromise. Please do not give up on Nigeria. Remember, we shall all account for our deeds someday and somehow in this life or hereafter.

I call on every Nigerians, home and abroad, high and mighty, the rich and poor, to remember that there is more to life. It pays to love, work and live honest rewarding life for peace of mind in this life and especially after death. Crime does not pay! Desist from making others sick and unhappy! Individuals and public figures should embrace happiness for all and not just self happinness. "An honest man mistakingly or deliberately stamped with falsehood have no need to fear because a pure heart never losses". Every blesseth day I wake up in the morning to pray, I remember our country Nigeria, our leaders and we the citizens in prayer. I pray God forgive our sins, direct our leaders and all right towards a better promised life for us, our children and generation unborn.

No To Crime... Act It, Embrace It for Happiness of All.
