Religion of peace indeed but that of violence PIECES. A man that told them that he does not know where he was going and they should ask the people of the book ie Christian, yet millions are still dying in that world's greatest deceit of all time called islam. ANY MUSLIM THAT HEARS THE TRUTH ABOUT JESUS AND REFUSED TO ACCEPT HIM AS THEIR LORD AND SAVIOUR must GO TO HELL NOT BECAUSE HE SINNED BUT BECAUSE HE HEARD/KNEW THE TRUTH BUT REJECTED THE SON OF GOD WITH A GREAT MOCKERY DESPITE THE GREAT GLORY THEIR KORAN HAD WRITTEN OF ABOUT JESUS-ISA WHICH SURPASES ANYBODY IN KORAN. Funny, this ignorant religion still says that they expecting Isa-JESUS to come on the last days. Not actually funny. The funniest stupid thing about koran is that of 72 virgins. What a dirty pervert Allah will be thinking about such hollwood kind of porn world view. Igbo man will say "Tufiakwa". This is the highest gift in your paradise, that stinks. Is late to remove it from koran. Hear me for the last, Religion cannot save but RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CAN. Even all you Christians that practises christian religion and just attend church alone without practicing what is there, and without Jesus relationship are in the same fate with Muslim. CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION BUT A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS. God coming in flesh to man not man seeking to know God as in other world religions. Give your life to Jesus today, he still loves you. Is not late but you can die at any time with eternal consequences and damnation. Life is too short to waste on empty pleasure. This words will judge you on the last day on if you dont act. Dont deny him access to your life because of What people will say. No excuses, do it now or inbox me if you wanna know more. God bless all. |

Even the primary school meals they promised, no one is saying anything about that.
Its really really really unfair to make all these promises and thus far, no move has been made to fulfill anyone. For heck sake, we don't have ministers....
Alot of people don't need that 5k but some people really do. Its called social welfare in the developed world. You tax the well to do and provide for the weakest amongst us.
Infact, I feel disabled people should be paid the 5k... no one cares for the disabled people. MOST are all left to suffer and die. The 5k would go a might long way in providing their basic needs and giving them a sense of belonging,
Apc wouldnt do that, instead they saddle us with saraki's case which we all know will come to nut. They saddle us with we will, we want to, we would, we could but no affirmative action. They saddle us with pictures of buharis wife and daugther.

EzePromoe: Who told you that the South East is underdeveloped? You guys don't know the actual meaning of development. Development is not by building roads or other infrastructures where its population are prevalently lazy by nature. For me, the South East is developed because of its Labour force and human resources which it supplies to the entire nation and still maintain a pace that can compete with what's obtainable in regions that are economically viable. The only indigenous Automobile industry Nigeria has is in the South East. With no federal government presence, the people of the South East have created the two of the largest markets in West Africa (Onitsha and Ariaria). That shows you that the Igbos are capitalist in nature and orientation. And again, need I remind you that Anambra is the only 3-city state in the country? WHAT YOU GUYS ALWAYS THINK IS THAT BECAUSE YOU SEE IGBO BUSINESSMEN IN YOUR HOMETOWN OR WHERE YOU LIVE, THEN IT EQUATES TO THE FACT THAT THE SOUTH EAST IS UNREDEEMABLY UNDERDEVELOPED. YOU SEE THE IGBO MAN IN YOUR COMPOUND AS SOMEONE COMING TO SEEK GREENER PASTURE, WHICH IS TOTALLY A VERY INCORRECT PERCEPTION. Many of you don't know the level of competition that exists in the South East. You will be marvelled at the vibrant business activity that goes on even in the remotest village in the South East. It's only normal that any sane man will migrate to a far away region where he thinks there are lesser competition and large purchasing power in order to do his business. Is Nigeria more developed than those Western or Asian countries that do businesses here? It's simple business strategy. It pains me that people can concoct garbage about Igbos in the comfort of their bedroom and publish it as fact, and the mentally lazy ones who can't make simple research will swallow it hook, line and sinker and relay the same garbage in an exaggerated manner, to his neighbour. Thank God I've been to the South East if not I will be making this kind of assumption.
About Biafra, I think the Government escalated this agitation by negligence and show of tyranny. As much as I love this country, I'm afraid that this agitation has gotten to its climax where it can't be negotiated. This is the bitter truth that fellow patriots like me won't come to terms with. The FG made this mistake with Boko Haram and look at where they are today. The FG are indirectly radicalizing this pro-Biafran agitators without knowing it. They think they are defending the nation's unity but they're wrong. What they're actually doing is grooming the hatred for Nigeria in the heart of young Igbo Nigerians (who are no longer seeing themselves as Nigerians by the way). This hatred if not curtailed now at its infancy will grow to an extent where it will go violent, and that is the last thing Nigeria needs now. Some Nigerians are so foolish to think that any uprising that starts in Igbo land will be felt only in Igbo land. Use Boko Haram as case study. Nigeria's economy is dwindling today because the government is spending what it hadn't intended to on procuring ammunitions to combat the terrorists and with oil prize dwindling, the coffers where these money are coming out from are not being replenished. And here again we have investors closing their investments due to poor economic planning by this administration. The Nigerian government should just leave these Biafran activists alone. You can use the police to kill them and stop their protests but you can't use the police to take their agitation from their hearts. What use is it having citizens that hate their country with all their hearts? Brilliant! Honestly you must be highly intelligent to have crafted your write up. Igbos troups to some parts of the west and north because they believe that these people there are lazy. You will truly respect igbos if you travel outside Igbo land. I am presently on an assigment now in Ogoja in Cross river state, virtually all existing businesses apart from farming are dominated by igbos. They filled every nooks and crannies of this beautiful town of ogoja with very good street roads. I dont just feel like coming back to Eko the jungle with it's hectic outrageous traffic Jam. Biafraland will one day exist as 10 federating state why Naija will be 26 states of SW, ALL NORTHERN STATES, EDO. May God bring it to pass |
Politics › Re: How Nigeria Must Deal With Biafra - Cramjones by wiseoneking: 11:53am On Nov 03, 2015 |
cramjones: I have keenly observed the current events that have led to the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the self-proclaimed leader of the Biafran movement. I have mixed reactions to the events that have transpired and have communicated my thoughts to the Nigerian Presidency. I will attempt elucidating my thoughts here.
1. I am of the opinion that the call for Biafra is legitimate: Firstly, Biafra existed before Nigeria was created. It was made up of people with similar cultures and language (with majority tribe being Igbo). It is perfectly legitimate for the original inhabitants of the country to yearn to have back their country and resources under their control. However, I do not believe that Biafra is a viable solution at this time.
2. During the Biafran war it is estimated that at least 1 million people of largely Igbo extraction were killed! This is no doubt in mind a genocide. However, the Nigerian government has made a fundamental mistake by: a. Not recognizing it ever took place, or playing down the number of those that died for political reasons, only serve to fuel violence and the call for secession. b. They have also made a major mistake by not even having a memorial day to remember those that died during the genocide - This action alone will give a sense of belonging and would foster a deepened National unity.
3. If the government does not look into the creation of a true federation whilst implementing its pseudo-federalism, and pretend that a genocide never took place, then the dissolution of Nigeria or even the metastasis of the Biafrian movement becomes inevitable.
4. Despite the premise I have laid out, I still do not think a Biafran state is viable. This is why
i. The Eastern Goverments are fundamentally corrupt; A visit to present day Imo and Abia will attest to the corruption and rot that have plagued the region. These leaders have all FAILED to develop the east with the resources given to them. If they had made the East the "dubai" of Nigeria, everyone including the international community would have taken the cry for Biafra serious. The argument would be if the "Biafran leaders" can develop their region with the "little" resources given them, it is only fair they secede and do even more for their people and their region. However, this is not the case. A Biafran state will only lead to another mini civil war, and a fight for resources and wealth among Biafrans.
ii. Since 1970 when the war ended the geo-political dynamics of the Biafran region has changed. For example the people of Rivers would not want to be part of a country where their individual tribes become a minority. Same will go to Akwa Ibom etc. This will then lead to a disintegration of the original Biafran state, and would lead to a battle for resource control.
iii. If the above happens, Biafra would essentially be a landlocked country, and this can lead to an invasion and fight of Rivers, in order to fight for port control, oil revenue etc. Igbos will definitely need the ports since most of them are international business men, and won't afford to pay regions like Rivers for all the billions of dollars of imports that takes place in the region.
In summary, an eventual Biafran state through a peaceful referendum will lead to a situation worse than South Sundan.
Way forward:
1. President Buhari MUST as a matter of urgency look into the white paper of the national conference and work assidiously with congress to make sure he implements true Federalism.
2. We must as a matter of urgency accept that at least 1 million Igbos where killed and establish a day to remember these precious lives that were gone. We must go a step further to make sure we teach this history to our kids, and not ban it from being tought in schools.
3. If the Federal government treat the Biafra issue with kids gloves, we may have something worse than Boko Haram in our hands.
4. Release Nnamdi Kanu immediately! Sit down with him and lay out your plans to resolve this issue. It would be a disservice to the Igbo people to compare the rise of Boko Haram with this present agitation, but history has thought us that as dynamic and complex Nigeria is, we MUST as a matter of urgency address the agitation of the Biafrans, before it metastasize to a problem bigger than Nigeria. A stitch in time saves nine!
Personally, I have shared these thoughts to my friend and brother Femi Adeshina with the hope that he would communicate this to P.M.B.
It is my hope that this does not destroy our country in our very eyes. Who are you? You started well and foolishly deviated from the theme of your write up by picking Abia and Imo's rot. Tell me any state that has rot than these two states or even mention your own state. I have observed that non igbos do wail more than the igbos in this issue of Biafra. Leave rivers, akwa ibom alone. They either join biafra or stay put in nigeria, but they know better |

OmoEniafelamo: Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said he will not hold any media chat via the social media with prolific blogger, Japheth Omojuwa, in what is likely the first of such public rejection since Omojuwa started his #JJmeets event on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.
Mr. Omojuwa had during the last Sunday installment of the event which he held with Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, expressed his willingness to meet with several Nigerian governors including Fayose.
Yesterday’s #JJmeetsAmbode became an immediate sensation on Twitter, affording Ambode the opportunity to update Lagosians about his administration’s progress and challenges so far.
Governor Rauf Aregbesola was a guest of Omojuwa on #JJmeets on September 10 under the hashtag #JJmeetsOgbeni.
The event, which usually lasts between 90-115 minutes, allows Nigerians on Twitter to engage their political office holders on salient issues.
Shortly before Ambode joined Omojuwa, the blogger tweeted, “Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State is on the cards #JJmeetsFayose,” while responding to another tweeter. Then during his engagement with Ambode, he reiterated his willingness to have Fayose on, writing, “Great. I will put this to Governor Fayose when I engage him soon #JJmeetsAmbode #JJmeetsFayose.”
But apparently not completely blown away by the online frenzy that usually accompanies #JJmeets, Governor Fayose has come out to publicly decline Omojuwa’s invitation.
“I won’t be holding any meeting on Social Media, especially JJ Omojuwa for now,” he tweeted this afternoon at 2:28.
It is not immediately clear why the governor declined participation, especially given how frequent he uses the medium himself, but observers said the decline may not have been unconnected with Omojuwa’s politics.
Omojuwa, 31, is hardly known for his charitable remarks towards Fayose, former President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP as a whole. More often than not, he’s usually seen attacking PDP sympathisers on Twitter, with his exchanges getting extremely vicious at times.
During the legislative crisis that gripped Ekiti State last May, Omojuwa tweeted that he hoped Mr. Fayose is “gone by the end of the week.” He is also infamous for elevating a pig above President Jonathan on his Twitter page, a post that PDP social media backers still frequently use to hound Omojuwa online.
But a PDP social media consultant said Governor Fayose should not have looked at Omojuwa’s politics, no matter how vituperative he may have been in the past, because the governor also stands to benefit politically from such engagement.
“He shouldn’t have looked at his insults and curses at all, because there are so many youth on Twitter today and they will like to have direct discussions with the governor and I think Omojuwa’s platform is probably the widest,” the source told Happenings in an email.
Source: http://happenings.com.ng/fayose-becomes-the-first-governor-to-openly-decline-omojuwas-invitation/ who is omojuwa? A blogger kwa? I dont think he is popular. May be a local lagos blogger. I know only Linda. Fayose has disgraced him. Other governors follow in line. Nobody knows the guy in the whole of cross river state. Biased blogger? |

marioking: Fayose's aide to Garba Shehu: We won't let you take Nigeria back to Military era
The statement credited to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, warning Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose to stop speaking on the running of the economy by the federal government has been described as a demonstration of military dictatorship mentality.
Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Monday, said it was sad that the presidency could be warning a Nigerian, who is heading one of the country’s federating units on what to say and what not to say.
Olayinka, who said he was sure that Garba Shehu must have spoken for himself, and not President Mohammadu Buhari, added that "Governor Fayose will continue to say the truth in interest Nigeria and its people because the Governor is not one of those that will go underground because of political persecution." He maintained that the country’s economy was in serious recession, adding that; “the president himself attested to this when he said that the country was broke and this has also been corroborated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Group financial report, indicating that the corporation incurred a total loss of N120.07bn in the months of August and September.
"JP Morgan is also removing Nigeria from its Emerging Market Bond Index, a move analysts say would have far reaching implications for the country’s dwindling economy as investors could move their funds to competing countries, resulting in higher lending rates.
“It is therefore a sad reminder of the military era that in a democracy, under a federation in which all federating units enjoy some degree of autonomy, the Presidency is warning a State Governor on what to say and what not to say.
“Top functionaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including State Governors criticised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government of Dr Goodluck Jonathan, the Presidency did not go about warning them.
“Certainly, these people working with the President need to be purged of Acquired Immune Military Dictatorship Syndrome (AIMDS), even as they must be told that Governor Fayose won’t stop speaking his mind and exposing their hypocrisy in the overall interest of Nigeria and its people."
Speaking further, the governor's aide said "Nigerians are desirous of the change promised by the APC led federal government, but as it stands, no clear direction yet.
"Rather than engage credible Nigerians to help in the revive of the ailing economy, what we have seen from the APC Presidency is appointment of their cronies and political robbers as well as harassment of perceived political opponents with anti corruption agencies and men of the Department of State Security."
He said it was not in the interest of the President for his aides to take on Governor Fayose, adding that; "leaving issues and attacking Fayose is like hitting ones head on the rock."

Governor Idris Wada is going into an election in 21 days while owing workers between 2-8 months salaries. This means there are a lot of people who are angry at him and will possibly not vote for him because of that hence he is boxed in.
This is an unfortunate type of politics we are playing in Nigeria as the workers are the ones that suffer for it but then again, the question has to be asked that why has Kogi not been able to find other ways to finance the state?
Audu might look like the underdogs in the November 21st elections but no. Governor Idris Wada is really the underdog. wailers? Crying more than the bereaved. |

Krystalzkris: i'd rather believe in those you listed above. At least, there is plenty of evidence to show they existed. What evidence can u provide for the existence of Jesus except the bible? There you go again, poor little girl. That they existence do not give you any hope of life after death but JESUS do. Jesus is more of a divine relationship and he is beyond feeling. I told you he is not just a religious figure. The evidence i will provide is that if you call upon him with your whole heart to reveal himself to you, he will. He is real than this world you are seeing. I can show you more about him if you are serious to know. Just inbox me or ask for email. JESUS LOVES YOU. |

Now that was very Jesus like. In case you don't get it, I was being ironic. Do you think fear is a good method of getting people into faith? Fear my foot, time have past when you get people into faith by begging. I am just stating the truth why you are providing the facts. You have enough happenings into todays world and infallible sure prophesies from the Holy writ to get you back to your senseses than your so called fear tricks. I'm not gonna pet you to hell this time arround. I am just been raw to you. |

I pity you and your lineage.
Yeah it was fought on our land. Have you fought any on yours? You do not have the liver now, being the slave and 5th class citizen of Nigeria that you are. THIS REALLY PAINED YOU. It is just the truth and you have to live with it, your generation too. Another dimension to its effect today is that DANGOTE alone is controlling single handedly the wealth of Lagos and ogun, rocking hausa-fulani in the land they conquered with an emirate from ilorin to eko soon. You dont just abuse me because i said the TRUTH. You are still a small girl, why loosing your temper and running mad at the truth. All you teenage girls should be barred by seun from nairaland. You should be preparing for 2016 JAMB. I love falae and afenifere. They wailed like 5%. Lol, just joking. Be a nice girl and stop getting MAD.Lol |
