Not really a big deal coming from Akwaibom. This is a state that gets ten times federal allocation than a state like Ebonyi yet, Ebonyi state government are doing great, even if not greater. Balyelsa, Delta are worst . I think Akwaibom is trying but not really great with respect of what they are getting. Despite all the wealth of such states like Akwaibom, Anambra will still be ahead of them in every indices of development. I personally like Akwaibom state and her people.

Some of you that remains in your holes and never travel out of your village may not know this. The largest population of Fulani Christians are in Adamawa. If 55% of Christians in Adamawa which are probably projected to be 50 50 against Muslims, more than 20% of Christians in that state are most likely to be Fulani alone. Malufanshi, funtua and many interior areas of Katsina have a good population of Fulani Christians aside for Hausa Christians. Even marrying a foreigner is not as appreciated by most Yoruba parents/families. That is why even Yoruba born and raised outside the shores of Nigeria like Mrs Kemi Adeosun still marry within the tribe. The Indians and Isrealis do it too.

Till date, having a non Yoruba mother is not common whether white or black, and it is treated with wow if you tell your fellow Yoruba that you have a non Yoruba mother and such few are mostly from Edo not even the SE. It is not a tribal thing , it is because the Yoruba are just too large enough in number and urbanized for any Yoruba to easily convince his or her parents that the partner is non Yoruba. It just does not sink to parents, it has never and it still does not and that is why they may not object to intertribal marriages but desire that their children marry fellow Yoruba.
The largest city in west Africa is a Yoruba city of Ibadan while the most populous , commercial nerve centre and urbanized city of Lagos is a Yoruba city, most top universities are in Yorubaland, headquarters of mncs, companies etc etc. So it seems odd when you say you can not find your spouse in these spaces.

Unlike other tribes like Hausa, Fulani, Igbo, there is nothing like christian muslim dichotomy at the family level so whoever you see is a muslim has christian brothers , cousins of even parents.
