I WONDER WHY SOME OF YOU CANNOT APPRECIATE CREATIVITY. I just wonder at the snide remarks.
In this era where you'll find a SO-CALLED 'graduate of Electrical Engineering', 'Mechanical Engineering', etc. unable to practicalize anything they were taught in the real world. Electrical Engineers that cannot even wire a house! Yet they are on nairaland laughing at someone that probably didn't go to school, yet is able to build something.
If companies are looking for employees, do the 'laughing group' think they will smell the job a mile off with this person in the picture?

Pls, is it possible for me to browse on my mtn Unlimited for one whole month? Cos am really tired of money wastage cos of the limited data plans, and the 150mb-1 day plan is exhausting.
Secondly, does Airtel offer unlimited data? Just heard to that effect and want to be sure.

For all those giving themselves high blood pressure while trying to sound smart all because of somebody else's story, pls increase the tempo, sure Seun must have made provisions for nairaland emergencies.
Anyways,to those who still have their tongues in check and don't see the story as a do/die affair, cos my comment is not fighting with anybody, If memory serves me right, I never said the wife(or the man either) was excused of bad behaviour.
I only tried to decipher the reason the woman could have behaved the way she did, the comment never said any party was wrong/right. Get that straight.
Every story has 2(or more) angles to it. Every party in a story will always claim they are right, and if you're not prejudiced (as u should)you'll be an impartial dispassionate party.
No one of us was there. The man's friend probably got to know exactly what happened because the man told him all about it in his fury, and not because the wife displayed it in front of him.
You do not take sides in a husband/wife issue.
Both of them are to blame....wife for the behaviour, husband for the lack of tact plus storming out furiously and telling anyone that cared to listen. Family business should be family business.
Let me reiterate.... I (as well as you) do not make ourselves a judge over matters like this. Your 'smartness' and 'wiseness' should be focused on your own home (where you could even be quarrelling with your spouse over a lot less than this one). Let us not be Head advisers to nobody and phD holders in 'other people's affairs'.
You correct BOTH SIDES where they err. What causes prolonged strife in homes is when either party don't fault themselves, and always see the 'other person' as only to blame, and outside pressure(as this one) thickens it.

People are different, with different orientations and no one should be seen as odd because of it. Everyone on the planet can NEVER be the same. It is good to try to understand a character from whatever angle they may be coming from, and not act James bond 'all perfect' movie here. Some here criticizing her do worse.
As regards the op's question, let's see it from this angle.... Some women take great pride in their cooking. They get this satisfaction when,after taking their time to cook for their hubbies in particular, they get to dish it to him and watch his appreciation of the effort. I think what might have upset the lady was the brash manner in which the man decided she was 'wasting' his time and had to serve himself. That must have made her see it as unappreciation. The best thing would have been to tell her he was famished and ask for a speed up/at least get her approval to dish it. Men should understand that women are different. You don't just barge into her 'zone'.
As for those forming 'civilized', how many of your fathers/grandfathers ever went to their wives' kitchens to open the soup pot. They didn't because they respected it as their wives' 'office'.
I hope the ladies here trying to 'impress' men here won't be the types to tell their husbands to go serve themselves,''Afterall, it's a 'modern' world we live in''.

While you that still have this costly(yet, so much taken for granted) luxury/gift called 'breath' are playing with yourself.
May God have mercy on mankind. May reality not set in after the eyes are eternally closed. There is still a chance now to live right. The next minute may not be there.
