PhonesRe: MTN BIS Is Now Really Unlimited. by Wislet(f): 3:27pm On Apr 08, 2013
Aderupoko2: I went for this unlimited stuffs and its a big lie.I exhausted my Cap in just two days. Now am regretting it.Pls don't fall for this or u will learn by example like me.
FACT.
Those advocating for MTN are those that somehow, the cap on data has not affected yet, or they are MTN stooges.
That is why they don't want people asking much questions 'cos they are afraid MTN will see that some excaped the cap and do a total blocking.
Funny folks.
As far as I'm concerned, the mark of a reputable company is that you tell the truth to your customers, and treat everyone equally, and not have them hide just to get quality service from you.
Being shady is a No No.
It's not any promo jooor. MTN BBC was always unlimited data till this new BB10 came in and they caused us users so much pain and deducting our credit and implementing fair usage. After all their customers have migrated to etisalat they now want to woo us back but I am not interested. I am enjoying my unlimited data on etisalat and the network is ok in my area. Bye bye to MTN. Let them stick with their fair usage policy. They'll lose more and more customers to etisalat.
Is etisalat really operating the UNLIMITED data plan? Like seriously?? Pls what is the code and for how much?
I'm tired of MTN too. That network is not straightforward. If your plans are supposed to be a secret, why operate them at all? Feeling like you can turn your customers any whick way you like at any time?
Pls let them lose more customers...they really deserve mass exodus.
PhonesThose In The Know, Pls Help. by Wislet(op): 2:03pm On Apr 08, 2013
I have noticed this on the MTN network and at first thought I was the only one affected, but I've discovered that a lot of us are complaining of the same thing too and nobody seems to be getting a satisfactory answer:
If anyone knows why subscription on the MTN network seems not to be working/it works for a little while and then stops, please enlighten us.... Instead of your subscription to keep running, your airtime is used up. Yet when you try to re-subscribe, you're told that your previous data is still in use.
Anyone who knows what's up with the network should pls enlighten us.

Secondly, I heard that MTN is no longer offering unlimited data plan. If true, is there any network still offering the Blackberry UNLIMITED data plan?
Thank you.

TechyGuy: That i cannot tell, maybe you should call or tweet at them to get the info or request it be deactivated. Contact them via twitter.com/mtn180, its a faster way to get them than calling 180.
thanks for taking your time to reply. I appreciate.
PhonesRe: MTN Nigeria Decries Threats From Boko-Haram by Wislet(f): 12:47pm On Apr 06, 2013
TechyGuy: Nigerians! We don't try to get information before we complain. Visit their website(mtnonline.com) and go to the Blackberry page. Are you not aware there is data limit on blackberry (on all networks)? All those downloading movie series and home videos have caused us this problem, imagine a friend who download up to 32GB monthly on MTN BBC. How did you use up over 2GB in less than 2 weeks?
Contact their customer service on 180 or on twitter @mtn180. Anyway, I used up mine, even though I use it on my laptop and it took me about 28 days before I exhaust the data. Don't mind their 1GB associated with BIS or 350MB for BBC, I used over 2GB before they started deducting from my credit.
If the plan has a cap on it now, no problem.
My question is, why can't I re-subscribe? Why do they keep telling me that my data plan is still in use, while zapping my airtime?
If they are a responsible network, they'll allow you to re-subscribe, right?
How do u plan to explain this one away?

PLS AM I THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THIS?
I SUBSCRIBED FOR MTN BBC INTERNET DATA SERVICE LAST MONTH. AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS, IT STOPPED WORKING AND I FOUND OUT ThAT INSTEAD OF THE DATA BUNDLE TO KEEP RUNNING AS I BROWSE, MY AIRTIME (CREDIT) WILL BE USED UP. Pls who else is experiencing this? When I tried to resubscribe (thinking that maybe they have stopped with the unlimited data plan,I.e that I have used up the data) the message read that the earlier subscribed plan was still in use.
So why won't MTN allow my plan to be used up? Why take my credit leaving the plan? What is that network coming to? Will they claim they don't know they are stealing from People!? Is anyone else experiencing something like this? It's like MTN is a big thieving company run by a gang of fraudsters.
PhonesRe: MTN Nigeria Decries Threats From Boko-Haram by Wislet(f): 12:32pm On Apr 06, 2013
morningsta: MTN remains the best network in Naija irrespective of their sometimes re-occurring network issues(which network for naija no de f... up sometimes?). compared to competitors, they have a wider spread across Niaja, hence they were the most affected by Boko haram in the North. MTN's investment in the North is far more than what some of the competitors joined together can boast of.
what best network? Take your time pls. You talk like that when they've not dealt with you. Maybe when they do, I hope you can repeat that.

@OP.
Is there any cream to make hair very soft?
I have long hair, but i can't carry it like that without weaving 'cos it's stubborn! And i'd soooo love to wear my natural hair.
Is it possible to make african stubborn hair to really 'sleep'? Like...get really soft, and u can just comb it and wear it like that, or style if u want.

Vikin: I don't know if you read my post very well. huh

1.The man is traveling and requested her to be with the MIL in his mothers house and not in his own house.
2. You really should learn how to address someone.
3. You advise her to stay alone on her first pregnancy just because she and the man is one, even when the husband is traveling? undecided

Je comprend très bien mais avant de parler. Il faut que tu comprend très bien les discussion.

Now go back, re read the post and write something reasonable.
1. I know how to address people.
2. You should state your point more clearly next time, and not type something else when you mean another.
3. I never advised that she stay alone on her first pregnancy, I addressed only ONE THING- YOUR calling a WIFE a GUEST in her own house.
So, get it right next time.
FamilyRe: Pro And Cons Of Living Together With Your In-Laws. by Wislet(f): 7:34pm On Feb 05, 2013
Vikin: Go stay with your inlaws. At least someone will be nearby during emergency.

Cook for you.
Sometimes do your laundry kiss
Always checking on you because you are carrying their grand child.
Teach you the culture or language
Teach you some cuisine your husband loves while he was growing up kiss
Give you his child hood experience....

For cons,

You might not be able to eat the food you want at a particular time.
Minimum space.

That's all I can think of now.

Above all, respect your self and always remember you are the guest.
WHO is the guest??
"And a man shall leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
That means a man will cut the umbilical cord, be independent, a full grown man old enough to have a family of his own- and he shall build a new life and home with HIS WIFE.
The woman he marries is his partner in his new world. She is a joint custodian. The two owners (bosses) of that establishment are the man and his wife ALONE. No father, no mother, no siblings can ever claim to have a right/stake in their affairs. You only do IF you're invited. It's HER HUSBAND's home, not your father's.
So, Mr Man, to correct what you wrote up there, the GUEST(s) in this case is(are) any other individual(s) aside from the man or his wife.
Vous vous comprenez?
A wife is a boss in her husband's house- don't get it twisted. She can admit you/show you the exit. So never call her a 'guest' in her home, else you might find out it's a mistake too late- when you've been kicked to the curb.
RomanceRe: Why Most Relationship Fail Woefully by Wislet(f): 6:07pm On Jan 30, 2013
idrisolaide: Well to me i would say why a relationship fail is based on other reason aside pointing out other mistakes.

As an example, am having a date with a girl for 7yrs now, though we both still contemplating on marriage proposals because the both families are widely aware of it. Now i realize the same girl has a hidden relationship that i don't know about and now this is giving me a though time to believe am not been centered. Because at every point i tried to settle thing and make a good reconciliation, something will always struck my mind as i now realize the trust i have for her and her family has been swept off.

So in my situation what do you guys suggest i can do?
7 years, and you have not made an honest woman of her by marrying her.
Your family and hers knowing about you two is not a guarantee that you wouldn't decide you'd rather marry a new, 'fresh' chick you just met and leave her hanging in the long run, then what would she have benefited in all that time with you?
Since you haven't decided to take the big step, she's just leaving her options open, so that she won't be left high and dry when she becomes 'too old' or you decide to disappoint.
Stop trying to find faults with her. If you think she's doing anything wrong, why don't you
have a talk with her? Or better still Marry her.
7 yrs.......and you expect she would wait for you forever? Wake up dear.

RomanceRe: Can You Lay Down Your Life For The Love Of Your Life? by Wislet(f): 8:05pm On Jan 07, 2013
I think many are taking this 'dying' thing too literally.
'Dying' for someone can be in many forms:

1. Being selfless - not counting your contributions in that person's life on a daily basis (like some do). E.g. A husband/wife that sees every little thing they do for their better half as a leverage to be recounted or used in a manipulating way to get something they want.
Can you take care(healthwise) of that man/woman, or help in the family finances the little time they aren't able, contribute positively to their family's well being(if it arises) WITHOUT bringing out a list of 'My duties toward you from the first day I became a part of this family' whenever you want to manipulate your way through.
(Not thinking of yourself, but the other person).
.
2. Defend and protect your own anywhere, anyday, no matter who is against them- even if it's your Oga for office wey dey insult your wife/husband. You no go do, "Nnaa, make I shut up and pretend I no dey here. I no wan lose my job".
AND SO ON............
.
It doesn't just mean, falling purposely on top of thorns or nails or from a sky scrapper, etc. There's much more meaning to the word than that.

A large number of Nigerians(or should I say 'nairalanders') seem to be in selfish relationships, do not know the true meaning of the word 'Love', or have never met anyone they never dreamed of having I.e a man/woman that beat their imagination in character, carriage and personality.
.
Instead of living fake lives and singing 'I love Yous' you don't mean, spend that time in remodelling your person to the personality your husband/wife will not think twice before responding in the affirmative.

It is only for 'had I knowns' that their partners will not want to hear the question a second time.
.
Nigerian men in particular, learn to cherish your families. Don't act like women are evil/not worth such commitment. That is why you should find for yourself and marry a 'Wife' not a 'woman'. There is a big difference. One is everywhere and always available in the market, the other is not.
And the ladies, life does not begin and end with cosmetics and wearing the latest. Learn to look beyond yourselves.

Jarus: I commend the Sienas for the minute-by-minute account o; not sure I can mentally recall that level of details, or could it be there are no events? Or could it be because I spend 6-10pm at work and on the road and just couple of hours (early morning and late evening added together) with the Jaruses? Or because Jarusat is just 3 months old and hardly any noticeable events?
don't worry. You're doing fine.

@zeefa, tell your friend to take heart. It's terrible....really bad. But let it not make him give up hope/lose faith in marrying a befitting woman.
Let him give himself some time, focus on other things and take his mind off marriage for a little bit. And while at it, let him quit luring/attracting women to himself with the 'marriage' talk. That is one topic almost every woman wants to hear. He will only end up sticking permanently to his side one stranger he hasn't taken enough time to study and get to know.
.
Let him take a break from it all to get himself and get over it. But, try not to mention 'marriage' first to any woman if you ever want to do it right(His big mistake- Is He Desperate?) cool it.
.
Take your time....study those you're interested in... Just be friends with them and never give away that you're interested in being more than JUST FRIENDS. That way you know who you're dealing with(nobody is perfect, but then, you would have known what you can deal with and what you can't tolerate).
