''this award has been hidden''. . . . . Very funny thread. |
THIS THREAD REEKS OF INSECURITY IN ITS ALARMING PROPORTIONS. Makes you wonder why some folks take the time to date if their partners aren't worth it. And the moral decadence in the world today- where everyone is a suspect(male/female). Be faithful to your relationships people! Change that conniving, player-like, deceitful character that breeds distrust, hate and makes u a suspect where your partner is. . It's funny as Nairaland is an anonymous forum. We could have two people in a serious relationship outside of Nairaland who both have IDs here, saying a capital NO to each other without knowing. Lol. What a joke we make of so-called 'love' and 'relationship'. Abeg disband and stay alone. Make una no dey deceive unaself. |
u better tell her, and hear from her. Be very careful and prayerful. If it persists, inform the authorities. A threat to ur life is not something to be treated with kid gloves. |
TODAY is my birthday. 1st of Nov. |
acidtalk: May Hurricane ACID wipe you and your entire family.no, my dear. U're better than this. I'm disappointed. Come on. |
andromida: I see a good woman with poor social skills and that seems important to you. Date her some more, you can help her be better the way you like, be clear about what you want from her. Help her in a kind way, the way you approach her supposed shortcomings maybe the determining factor whether she will change or not. However do not force yourself into the relationship just because she is a good girl be true to yourself and your needs.@the OP. Listen to this advice. Love/marriage shouldn't be a function of pity. Infact, you'll regret it all your life if you do. What you know you can NEVER tolerate when dating, DO NOT Think that a miracle will happen and u'll suddenly begin to like it after marriage. So, be wise. You either can take it or u cannot. Make ur decision and move on. Thinking that u can NEVER find another who will possess a good percentage of what you desire/like is not a good mentality to have. U could even find one better than her. The question you should ask yourself is: ''Can I be happy with this lady if I marry her?''. If you can, go on. But if u honestly cannot, do not deceive yourself. So that you do not become a bitter, married man later in your life. A VERY IMPORTANT RULE SOME PEOPLE SEEM TO FORGET: NEVER MARRY SOMEONE OUT OF PITY. You will be miserable all your life. |
@ age 25........ YES!! Why do some think everything is about school? We tend to support such arguments with, ''He's not through with school .... He couldn't have gotten a job by then....''.etc. . Some men have solid jobs by the age of 23-24, not to talk of 25.. . Marriage readiness is a state of the mind. You could have a 40yr old man who shouldn't by all means and purposes step close to the altar with another man's daughter, because he is not fit to be a husband. He could be a drunkard, never-do-well, woman beater, etc. Should we then say that because he is a 'grown' (by our own standards)man by that age he MUST marry? . When a man is ready to shoulder the responsibility of a home, is matured in his thinking, has learnt how to respond to a woman(especially when she acts up), and is ready to learn daily from the elderly ones with a stable home, I'd say he is MAN ENOUGH to go ahead and marry. . More especially when he accompanies that with a level headed, respectful, and loving choice of partner who is willing to make a success of it too.(VEEEERY VEEERY IMPORTANT, MEN). . @those crying 'experience'. For how long are you going to keep jumping from one woman to the other in the name of getting experience. More prompting: How much experience do you think is ENOUGH to acquire before you take the bold step? . There can never be ENOUGH experience. . When you have understood to some extent how women think, how to control yourself when they go overboard, how to treat them right, home management(especially the financial aspect), how to be a good husband yourself, then you're good to go. . As your years in marriage increase, you acquire more experience for 'your own home', cos no two marriages are the same. Same way, no two women are the same. |

Yup. Have been privileged to occupy that position a number of times. I would say mine started from the Kindergarten till this moment. It's not easy being a leader, with many eyes looking up to you. Where a wrong move could cost you loads. . Being, not just a leader, but a principled one, is no mean feat. You are threatened, taunted, misunderstood by those who do not see the need to do things following the Due process. But, the upside is that you are encouraged, congratulated and protected by many who see you as rare. Someone that would never back down...who could look at intimidation in the eye and dare it to make a move. . Leadership also gives you a special kind of confidence and sense of responsibility..... When you've become used to shepherding plenty. . One lesson I think our present leaders don't have at the back of their minds is in the form of a question: ''When I step down from this position and become one of the 'masses' once more, would I be happy with the development strides in my area of operation?''. They do not take the time to see themselves through the Peoples' eyes. . YES @ OP. Being a leader is not easy. But it also doesn't give the present leaders we have now the right to celebrate and throw money around even as the poorest of the poor is dying. . When the Standard of Living(let's not mention Cost of Living now) is low, it says a lot about a country and its leadership. |

Another question: (b)how does a nite club improve the lives of the young ones? Or is it only the older folk that are allowed to enter into it? If yes, what impact...negative/positive does it have on a child? . (c)does it impact something/anything positive/negative in the lives of the 'adults' that come out from it? I mean, what would you say you would have gained as soon as you emerged through the doors? #still just asking# -waiting................ |
davidylan: Increased traffic to the area = increased economic opportunities for small businesses in the area.lol. Papa davidylan, i asked an innocent question. Ok....oga davidylan and his insinuations. Happy now? |

you are living in a Lagos developed by your people, or that developed by people from other ethnic groups? Be careful what you wish for. If you want your land for yourself, then your leaders should allow others that want to go their way to do so too. But since you can't afford to do without them, keep quiet and stop making noise. . On another note, Igbos see the insult from these people directed toward you. It is time you all gathered yourselves together, do away with 'it is my own...it is the government's responsibility' etc, bring your resources together, and with one mind develop the SE. Turn that place to Dubai. Cover grounds that the entity, Nigeria, hasn't been able to cover in the whole of its existence. You have the resources.... You have the manpower.... You have the brains. Walk the walk, build cities in your area, and let's see which part of the country will have the temerity to try to fight you/talk you down.[quote author=inufele2]Igbos live in illusion if their so called success, I thought they said charity begins at home, how come Igbos have not turn se states to Dubai? The earlier these leeches leave us the better! Yorubaland will be better without Igbos Igbos PLEASE LEAVE NOW!!!!! |
