Don't mind the bad belles.

As for the area of ur concern toward protection, u don't need to be overly concerned. If an Igbo man loves you, Protection of his family is his highest priority. They even derive pleasure doing that. Just make sure you and ur man do not move to any of the volatile parts.

What is wrong with saying someone who petty politicians tried to ridicule but defended himself excellently is a person of integrity? So what if he owned the jet, limousine etc.? what business is it to you or me? nothing!

If Bill gates children or say Aliko Dangotes children were to see the pictures would they have responded in the same way many (poor)people did?

The boy is from wealthy parents who can afford him such luxury yet he had the time to put out that write up rebutting the lies that were peddled against him by people like you trying to put his mum in a bad light. it is commendable! If you dont like it, you can piss off!

MAY GOD GIVE GOODLUCK JONATHAN THE WISDOM TO TAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS- NOT MOVED BY POPULAR SENTIMENTS.

The way some of us are jubilating at the mention of the U.S is shameful. Do they really care about you? Do you want to be always under their control? Do you still cherish your sovereignty? Do you want your homeland invaded? What could be left for your children to take over?

Wislet, is it Nigerian men and their marraiges that you are defending like thishuhhuhhuh It is the man, that i will personally blame, he was married and he knew it, but e no fit commot eyes from young girl, just because he wants a ''different flavour''. And he still does not want to leave her to live her life, all because they are into this business thing together, and maybe he knows how much she loves her job, what happened was in the past, i don't think she needs to be crucified, if she was not interested in this man, she would not have told him anything about her relationship, even if she don born for village, she will not tell him, if she does not want to.
My dear I get ur point. I will be the last person to condemn anyone- nobody is perfect.
But there's a difference between someone making a mistake and turning away from it, and persisting in it. Plus insulting an innocent, oblivious husband-to-be on top of it. Why tell him AFTER HE HAS DONE SOMETHING ON HER HEAD? Why not before? She has to save the remains of her self respect (if she has any left) by cutting off from that man. Else her marriage with this man will be a joke.
FamilyRe: My Fiancee Had An Affair With Her Business Partner by Wislet(f): 9:14pm On Jan 24, 2012
What would make a supposedly responsible, self respecting, well brought up, God fearing lady sleep with a MARRIED MAN in the first place? Taking his wife for a f*o*o*l?? All in the pretext of BUSINESS PARTNER?

@OP, it is your life. The foundation of a marriage determines how it will be.
FamilyRe: My Relationship With Mom! by Wislet(f): 7:53pm On Jan 24, 2012
@deal_ordea, if u aren't married, try to marry someone who's the opposite of ur mother. Someone that is loving and can display it.

It is not always that men marry someone like their mother, especially when they're mature enough to know desirable or otherwise qualities they would want in a partner.

You copy the good from ur parents, and discard the negatives u observed in their marriage u'd rather not have in yours.

So you would walk away from a multi-million naira business because you slept with your business partner? All this for a man that might wake up tomorrow and divorce you? Haba! You're dishing out harsh medicine that you yourself can't take! Would you advice your own blood sister to abandon her livelihood because her fiance is uncomfortable with her past relationship with her business partner? Would you advice the guy to do the same if roles were reversed? I am not a big fan of advising women to leave their sources of livelihood for men especially when this same men won't do the same for them. It always leads to regret and recriminations in the future. There is no reason why this woman can't have a happy marriage and still hold on to her business.
No wonder many marriages are seen as a joke. With many people having this type of mentality, no wonder men say some women are wicked.
Marriage has lost its respect and place.

jennykadry:
You don't have to agree with me darling. That woman isn't a wife material. You cannot sleep with a married man and still keep a close relationship with him and expect to be called a good wife material. That man has a strong hold on her and isn't willing to let go anytime soon.

A sensible woman with a conscience and a heart would have walked away from any partnership business deals if truly she was over him, staying in touch is not helping her at all, staying in touch is not helping the man's relationship with his wife. He has a wife and possibly kids, that woman needs to back off and plan her own life.

Define change? how has she changed? a cigarette smoker that decides to stop smoking does what? stay away from cigarette, a man who wants to stop sleeping around, stays away from temptation, a woman who is ready for marriage stays away from ex's.

I am a woman and so are you but I tell you what you may not know, men can sleep with a million and one women and still not have an emotional connection to either of them, after all It's just sex they say, while a woman(as long as she is not a LovePeddler) can hardly ever sleep with a man and not have a connection with him. It is the way we are wired.

If truly she's changed, she would have walked away from that relationship(friendship or partnership) a long time ago. She is going to be a wife soon and I hope her past life does not come back in the form of karma and bite her in the bum.

I suggest they both move on, there is no trust in that relationship so why bother?
I like people that are realistic. Thank you.
moremi2008:
A lot of the advice on here appears to be based on mere assumptions. These assumptions might be completely wrong but guess who is going to pay the price? You! So please take every bit of radical advice with a grain of salt. Better to thread cautiously towards making the right decision than to act rashly based on mere emotions and fck everything up irreversibly.

Everybody has a past (including you) and I don't think your fiancee's past should be held against her, especially since she has come clean with you. Of course, your wife will always be faced with temptations after marriage, the same way you will also be faced with temptations. To assume that she will fall for those temptations, ab initio and without any solid evidence, is unfair and foolish. Her business partner's actions are a bit irrelevant. The old man is only wishful thinking and he can keep wishing for the rest of his life. If he is that passionate about her, then let him marry her as a second wife! Abi?! Chikena! Useless old man!

The truly important question is, do you really love this woman? Does she REALLY love you? If the answer is yes and yes, then I don't know why you are freaking out. Just tell her your fears and if she loves you, she will make every attempt to draw a firm line between business and pleasure. Her behavior towards this boss/partner will become colder and strictly professional. If both of you truly love each other, the boss/partner will become the necessary evil you BOTH must face TOGETHER. She will involve you with the business and make it clear to everybody that she is now off-limits. A woman will never let anything get between her and her true love. In fact, the earlier your fiancee starts drawing this line, the better (if possible, insist on this before the marriage).

However, if after sharing your fears with her respectfully and rationally she gets angry, defensive and then reports you to this boss/partner, then you know for sure that she doesn't really love you and you're just a cover for an illicit relationship and a way to deflect suspicion. If this happens, then you need to pull-out. If you decide to pull-out of the relationship, she can react in two ways. If she says "good riddance to an insecure man", then she never loved you and her true love is her business partner. If she completely falls apart and credibly threatens to walk away from the partnership to have you back, then she loves you and you should marry her.

Good luck oh! Above all, always remember that you never have the complete picture until you talk to as many sides of the story as possible. Don't do anything rash based on incomplete information or mistaken assumptions. Talk to your fiancee, talk to this boss/partner, talk to your fiancee's parents if she's close to them. You'll get a clearer picture of the situation and only then can you make an informed decision.
She already FAILED in the aspect of 'loving him' when she BROUGHT HIM FOR THE GUY'S APPROVAL!
This is the highest level of insult!
Let us be realistic.
FamilyRe: My Fiancee Had An Affair With Her Business Partner by Wislet(f): 6:36pm On Jan 24, 2012
@OP, As soon as I came to the point where u said u had to 'pass an approval test' with someone she had slept with, I knew there was no point cracking my brain with this one. I read it all though.
My dear, I am sorry but your 'fiance' has no atom of respect for you.
Ha!!!!!! Some things women do.
Approval from a man she slept with?
As long as that man is still her business partner and they see every time, there's always going to be awkwardness betweem them!
Whether you choose to live in denial or not, the chances of them repeating the act is very high, whether she denies it or not.
And for the man's wife to be uneasy with the whole 'business partner' thing between your fiancee and her husband shows the woman knows the possible consequences of such closeness!

It's either she ceases to have that man as partner or she ceases to have you as fiance.
She has to choose one.

Any other solutions besides these, u'll only be deceiving yourself.
Zero respect for a supposed husband-to-be.
Incredible.

RomanceRe: 8 Reasons Girls Like Bad Boys by Wislet(f): 4:37pm On Jan 23, 2012
I'd rather make a home with a man who knows the importance and seriousness associated with family. Who will be a good role model to my kids. Have a positive attitude toward r/ship and marriage, who was brought up to see his wife and himself as one, and is mature in his thinking. Above all, one who knows how to take charge of his home without resorting to the 'reverse psychology, two-timing, ego boosting, low self esteem' schemes.

If u had the chance to have much wealth at your command, will you hide under a rock so people won't see u spending it?? Will u imprison yourself and have no social life because u want to 'please the people?'.

No one is condoning frivolity. Or saying u shouldn't have decorum. But at the same time don't judge what u don't know, or act like wealth is an anathema to you. If it was, why are you working to get it?
