CelebritiesRe: Whitney Houston’s Funeral Service To Be Streamed Live At 5pm On CNN by Wislet(f): 8:15pm On Feb 18, 2012
WHITNEY HOUSTON WANTED TO SEE JESUS CHRIST.

Whitney houston feared ''the end was near'' in the days before her death, it has been claimed. The pop megastar, who died in a London bath on Saturday, also told pals she '' really wanted to see Jesus''.

According to reports, Whitney was ''very spiritual'' in her final days, quoting the Bible, singing hymns and speaking about the afterlife with friends and family.

On Friday, a day after she sang Jesus Loves Me in her final public performance at Tru nightclub in Hollywood, she told one of her friend: '' I'm gonna go see Jesus; I want to see Jesus.''

The following morning, hours before her death, Whitney was discussing a Bible passage involving John the Baptist and Jesus. She reportedly said: '' You know, He's so cool, I really want to see that Jesus.''

I got it now. The guy in the funny outfit is the best man. The other loser behind is one of the groom's men. And there's a lady as well behind, probably the chief brides maid.

The groom is not in this picture. No sensible man will do this to his lineage.

Meeting someone on nairaland? Won't u get to meet the person LIVE?? Are they not the same people you see everyday? Are they invisible? Smh.
How can u marry someone u haven't MET in FLESH AND BLOOD?
U meet, discuss, get to know each other better. The real you, no more a username.
The person becomes to you an everyday person, no more a title.
Nairalnders are human beings, not ghosts.
The topic sounds ridiculous. Hmm.

Also, hope the people he's shouldering their responsibilities aren't able-bodied, grown men too lazy to work hard.
If so, he had better quit spoon-feeding them and think of his future family.
If it is kids, no problem.

A man- even a first born, needs to breathe.
It is not a curse to be one.
RomanceRe: He Gives Her Money Only And Only When She Requests It! by Wislet(f): 8:16pm On Feb 11, 2012
BOYFRIEND GIVING U MONEY, instead of THINKING OF A WAY TO GET A JOB TO HELP HIM REDUCE THE BLOOD PRESSURE, knowing he is shouldering a lot of responsibilities!

Show that friend this page, and let her learn-if she wants to have a husband that will live long for her.
Annoying.
I neva collect ordinary recharge card, na for a man to shoulder my responsibilities-when i'm nt yet his wife!

If u love that man, get a job! Minimize bugging him for anything. Let him enjoy his youth and not grow old fast!

I didnt bother readn thru d oda comment(bit sori peepz) bt I dnt strongly blv that their r merit of hostel expecially avn room mates. Cos of the frustration u might recieve from some room mates. At times, they wuldn't even allow u to study in ur own room due to gisting. The reason we are in skul is to ready n study bt sm room mate r strong headed. Only the understanding one can help.
The hostel is not for studying purposes. U have the reading rooms and libraries for that.

For me, I would have probably grown up doing stuff like that if not for that very rude insult from the last girl I did it for a very long time ago in my teens.
She started laughing out loud and made a self=flattering statement "look at dis nigga tryna get some pussy" and then walked away without even so much as a thank you out of courtesy.

Just one of the many experiences a man goes through while growing up that make him understand that women aren't really all that worth the hassle. . .
I would even rather open a door for a man (and still do) because the interaction is always much more pleasant. Dude says thanks you say no problem. smiley

but women? hehe. They just love to transform things and bring this awkward air into what would have been a very simple civilized interaction.
They're on their own with doors and such, unless it's a woman I actually know and isn't just some random person.
And who did this to my swthrt?? angry angry
Let me nt catch u!
Don't worry sweerie, u hv a lady now cool wink grin
EducationRe: What Are The Merits And Demerits Of Co-existing Or Rather Living Together With Someone In An Hostel? by Wislet(f): 7:59pm On Feb 10, 2012
Living in the school hostel is so much fun. No dull moment. It is not a measure of one's pocket size, cos some think that those that live there can't pay to live alone.
People stay there for different reasons. U'd be surprised to see children of Dons and rich men. The things u learn living with different people of varying backgrounds beats all.
Meeting so many people from different backgrounds helps u to learn tolerance. Not to talk of the arguments, brainstorming, sense of community, inter-dependence. It helps u build a better character than u formerly had- after the annoying side of u has undergone criticisms and hammerings. Lol. Plus when u'll come back hungry & somebody has cooked. Lool. Free nurse care when u're down. Communal going to shows. Diverse knowledge u acquire from different experiences.
Anyone that passes through all that and still retains his/her disagreeable character or doesn't acquire some level of maturity, should be pitied.
The merits outweigh the demerits.
