ritababe:
And yet state police is still not allowed, that should be the first thing if he's serious
State police is allowed and dully supported under PBAT as has never been the case under past Presidents, and rest assured it will be delivered.

Everyone, even his enemies, is aware the President is a passionate and dedicated fan of it.

Read the bolded in the quote, below, from the President's urgent demand for State policing, after the Benue massacre to discern the real challenge which is that State policing would be delivered overnight if all Governors have the requisite political will, are fully on the same page with Mr.President and supportive of his effort to deliver it.

This topic even defines the evil of "one Nigeria' and why we need regional automony. With power secto fully derelegulated and no longer on the exclusive list of the FG, serious Governors with "capacity and political will" have moved quickly to show their progressive intention.

With policing still an issue under the exclusive list of the FG , constitutional amendment is needed to change that status wuo.

It is not something Tinubu, who is demanding it as others never did before, can unilaterally force into place.

Governors ready for it cannot move either till constitutional assent allows them to. This is where the bolded below from.Tinubu comes into place. State Policing will be delivered under Tinubu.

I am.sure of that. Yet Nigerians should attempt to understand the dynamics to note why some things that are simple, and can bring life-changing solutions overnight for Nigeria, are difficult to implement.

We must look at the role of all leaders, at all levels, in governance and not face the President alone and always.

https://dailytrust.com/tinubu-declares-state-policing-a-necessity-demands-constitutional-reforms/

Tinubu called for bold constitutional amendments that would move policing from the Exclusive Legislative List to the Concurrent List, enabling states with capacity and political will to establish their own police forces. He said such a move would ensure more accountable, community-based policing while preserving federal coordination and oversight.
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Electricity Act: Seven States Take Charge Of Power Regulation by WizardOfNG:
The communist parasitism of the North on display again and informatively for those who are progressively intelligent enough to know what truly matters and what we should be agitating for.

Zero North involvement below, because they believe electricity should be provided free to them forever by the FG yet SW, minus Osun alone that is now the laggard of the SW under the dancing Governor, is close to 100% uptake as a serious statement of intent over self-determined success and independence.

If it were left to me, because fact related to what leaders and regions are doing never lie, I would prefer a Northerner is not President again till we have full regional automony.

People should think about what the revelation below is telling us. If Northern Governor cannot key into the concept of optimal power supply, that will aid accelerated socio-economic development, how will a Northern President then dominate so many communist-leaning Northern leaders to satisfy the progressive and socio-capitalist yearnings of the SW and others?

The reality, for those who can think critically, is that a Northern Presidency in 2027, to truncates the laudable decentralisation of power Tinubu is supervising, will be detrimental to the development of Nigeria.

Objective people will agree this is what the fact before us is showing.

The states are Enugu, Ondo, Ekiti, Imo, Oyo, Edo, and Kogi. Other states, including Lagos, Ogun, Niger, and Plateau, are expected to complete their transitions between June and September

You are not getting the point. The average voter from the East naturally hates Tinubu even before he becomes the president. The manifested it in the last elections. Neither will they change in 2027. You guys hate towards him is the same thing you did to Buhari throughout his eight years.
Since 1999, your voting pattern is tilted towards PDP, until your brother Peter came into the ring via LP and you gave him 90% votes.
Come 2027, the highest you guys might give APC apart from Ebonyi might not be up to 200k votes.
That is why most contestants rarely do much in the South East, you are predictable. If Obi contest, you will give him your votes, why should others waste their resources pushing South Eastern votes especially for people you have shown hatred?
Well said. Time and money are important consideration in politics. Who wants to waste either on exercises in futility such as Yoruba President fooling himself he can get any change out of the predictably clannish and hateful SE by investing time and money courting their support?

Who does not know that is a waste of time and money doing such since these people hate others primoridally and vote according to that?

Tinubu can turn Nigeria to Dubai or Singapore tomorrow and they will still give him 100k votes max throughout the SE. That is how clannish, closed-minded, hateful and bigoted they are.

Did we not see this with how they queued passionately behind an untested, bigoted and inept GRV with no history of even decent adminsitrative or political leadership in Lagos rather than supporting the very successful Governor of the State consistently praised as the best in Nigeria?

Even if Tinubu make your region heaven overnight, you will still hate him and not vote for him. The man knows it and that's why he doesn't give a hoot about you. His focus is on the South-South and the other places in the North.
Most Nigerians now know them and their agenda which is based on covetous expanisionism alone and not love or patriotism for the Zoo Nigeria that they deny and demarket always whether they are in our nation or abroad.

They will soon be the biggest and most disrespected joke in our nation because they alone fail to feel the pulse of the nation with how they continue desiring been in the business, homes and regions of others satisfying their lust for money.

They will never understand that, whether anyone likes it or not, decentralisation of power, towards States and region, is the way forward for Nigeria with more Nigerians embracing this reality daily.

This is why their legislative Rep Ben Kalu is proposing removal of State of origin categorisation from the identity of Nigerians to assist their obsession with 'one Nigeria' exploitation these people lust for always.

Very distasteful and insensitive of Kalu, no doubt personally driven by extreme greed and avarice they are known with, to push such a bill in a period all Nigerians, to include even Northerners they mock as "parasites", are beginning to understand is the beginning of "to your tent O Israel'.

The way Kalu was knocked back quickly just shows that others are not thinking like Igbos currently since most Nigerians now accept that, if we cannot separate fully, regional self-determination is the next best option and not strengthening 'One Nigeria' as opportunist Kalu wishes.

Whatever happens in future, these people are in trouble because of how covetous expansionism propels them to fooliishly swim against the tide.

Just ask yourself how many Igbos are talking Biafra or regional autonomy today despite lying and shouting for decades that this is what they "uncomprisingly" want.

Today, including their previous "Biafra or death" warlord Gidgiddy, they are all now fervent lovers of the Zoo Nigeria and her "good governance" because they think Obi has a chance to be President and then hand them the keys to control of Lagos and whatever else they wish to own and control in our nation. Funny people.

When you analyse Nigeria's history dispassionately and with a calm head, you will find that the top echelons of the South West political class have always been the least likely to make inflammatory remarks about people or groups outside the region.

For example, you would not find any top tier political leader in the SW come out and say Mr Kanu should be sent to life imprisonment, this or that.

It just won't happen because in our side, it is drummed into your head at a very early age that what is not your business in not your business.

Fellow Batists, I will reveal a simple and flawless test that will always help you to understand Tinubu is a true democrat plus lover of Nigeria and what is in her best interest.

Simply Google major events in the history of Nigeria that needed true leaders to step up lest Nigeria disintegrate.

You will note Tinubu is never absent while Obi, Atiku, Sule Lamido and many others today , who are but mere pretenders to the crown, were hiding or totally disinterested as they had nothing to gain fighting for ordinary Nigerians.

The GEJ they claim Tinubu hates and undermined, history reveals Tinubu stood up for when the North were determined not to hand over power to him when we all knew Yar Adua was not coming back.

Simply google "Tinubu demand jonathan be sworn in as substantive president".

The link and first image below shows one of the hits. Do same for Atiku, Obi , Sule Lamido, El Rufai etal. Let us see what is revealed.

Do similar for the period when Fulanis herdmen dey kpai Nigerians play under Buhari. You will see link 2 and image two showing Tinubu tackling Buhari to say "open grazing no longer tenable".

Where were the voices of others, to include Atiku and Obi, who now wish to revise history to portray themselves messiahs, saviour and angels while trying to demonize Tinubu falsely and shamlessly? We must all learn from history or repeat its mistakes.

Lol. You have more hope of seeing flying Pigs than a mentee of Atiku or Obi.

What the poster you responded does not understand, because he is a typical Obidient, is that poltical mentee means an individual mentored by a leader who has then gone on to be great himself/herself as per the guidance and influence of his/her mentor.

That is what we need to see with Atiku and Obi. They should point at even one leader today, as Tinubu literally has thousands, they moulded into leadership efficacy and greatness.

Na beans some still call themselves Awoist, Batist, Thatcherites (after Margaret Thatcher of the UK) etal till today?

leaders of substance are followed iconically by others who want to be leaders and therefore wish to learn from those who truly symbolise exemplary leadership.

A fundamental truism those who follow a shallow Born-to-rule Dubai dweller and glorified petty trader cannot accept.

What can anyone say Atiku and Obi stand for, after more than two decades in politics and public administration for both, other than political oloshoism ideology?

It's so funny how vultures and hyenas are coming all out to concoct all kinds of lies and propaganda just for the aim of grabbing power. Does Sule Lamido expect President Tinubu to announce his name among the heros of Democracy and confer on him an award following his ignoble role during June 12 annulment?. That would amount to pissing on the graves of the heros of Democracy. Does Lamido think history can be revised or rewritten?, unfortunately, he will have to live and die with the memories of his actions dinning with the devil.

It is funny how opposition are saying all sorts thinking that's the only way to curry public sympathy for votes. It's funny hearing Obi say Nigeria economy is crumbling yet Fidelity Bank which he owns 10% equity is declaring humongous amount of billions, Obi as we speak is one of the largest single importer of consumer goods in Nigeria yet he claims the economy is crumbling. In another instances, he claimed democracy is dead yet he criticizes everything and goes scot free, the kind of statements he can never utter in Niger Republic or Burkina Faso and get away with it.

Ameachi says he is hungry after 24 years in the corridor of power but he is presently collecting retirement benefits as an ex speaker and former Governor, even being a former minister, he still enjoys certain privileges than an average Nigerian.

However, one surest thing is the FACT that all the gang ups, coalition and frivolities cannot stop Asiwaju as the annoited man. He has been there before, seen it, done it. All these are nothing but child's play. There's a popular saying that Tinubu no be GEJ, let that sink in.

-Kiss the truth!
Knowledgeable folks know Sule Lamido is just capping as the born-to-rule Northern supremacist he is.

He is just desperate to use everything, even lies, to get the North, specifically a Fulani, back in charge of Nigeria in 2027.

He is not fooling anyone but Obidients who, I suspect are the target of Northern propaganda lamba currently.

They want Igbos, they know are emotional and easily 'herded', to be behind them in their imperialist agenda to depose an independent-minded and resolute Southern President never afraid to use power for the beneift of ordinary Nigerians as others before him avoided doing. It is as simple as that.

Next, we will hear Tinubu is the originator of Boko Haram. Banana-like idiocy that can only be packaged for those who believed Buhari was dead ,and replaced by a Jubrin from Sudan, merely because Kanu said so.

While it is normal to be sceptical, given the reality of Nigeria, what is awful is to retain same scepticism when several and never-before-seen changes deliver factually logically proof that dismissal of the possibility of positive constitution amendments under PBAT can only be based on personalised hatred for the government in power and nothing else.

Full subsidy removal, floating of the Naira, development commissions for all regions, local government autonomy enforced through court action, tax reform bills ratification etal are brave reforms non before PBAT undertook.

Naturally Nigerians who remain progressive and wishful of the best for our nation will concede, even if they hate PBAT, that the current Government should be given the benefit of the doubt considering it has birthed may pivotal reforms in two years whereas those in office for 24 years (1999 to 2023) would not even contemplate let alone deliver.

Welldone Naptu2. As usual, your ability to use precise documentation of history, to bring clarity to contentious issues, is unrivalled here.

The evil coalition of Born-to-rule and Supremacist Northerners, desperate to regain power in 2027, and their adoring Obidient co-travellers in hate, obsessed with thoughts of seeing Obi in Aso rock at any cost, to include even getting in bed with demons behind the problems of Nigeria, will fail.

This new and desperate efforts to portray Tinubu a complicit villain in the horror visited on Abiola and the Yorubas is dead on arrival.

The simple truth is that the denial of Abiola's mandate, decades ago, and the agitation of many Northerners today to depose PBAT in 2027 is driven by the same enduring primordial agenda.

I.e the belief of some Northerners, not all, that control of ultimate Executive power over Nigeria must reside with them at all time.

We are seeing changes now, indicating a paradigm shift of resistance to this mentaility of Northern entitlement, that some of us are confident will birth an equitable Nigeria in the near future.

I.e a nation where all Nigerians, to include those who never wish to relinquish power to others, must accept a new progressive dawn predicated on all of us, for the greater good, settling or managing our regions in Nigeria independently rather than feudal and nationally destructive obsession with controlling 'the Empire' centrally

Especially today that evolution of Nigerian minds is quickly ending the notion there remains an Empire to seek Machiavellian control of.

SW,SS and the Middle belt do not want the Empire anymore. In the end majority will carry the vote to ensure those, i.e the SE and core North, resisting the inevitable change, I.e greater decentralisatiom of power towards States and regions, will have no option but to accept they are engaged in an exercise in futility.

Tinubu is going to give Nigeria a true federalism-like constitution. GEJ missed the opportunity, he only had to sign on the constitution amendments bill but he declined it at the tail end of his tenure, same way he never transmitted the CONFAB report to the Senate. GEJ messed up a lot. But here is Jagaban, a man of steel, he no dey look anybody face.
Well-said. GEJ indeed messed up trying to be all things to all men and ending up pleasing none.

Those who study outstanding leaders, to tap from their fountain of knowledge, will know Tinubu moves deliberately.

After he said what was shown below on the 16th of June 2025, immediately post the Benue Masaccre, constitutional review is now upon us.

A feat I have no doubt he will deliver same as the much opposed tax reform bills now only waiting Executive assent to be signed into law after the legislative arm ratified the bills.

There is suffering, insecurity and unrest in the land , because of how poorly OBJ, GEJ and Buhari have led.

Specifically with how all ignored fundamentally required changes, yet wise progressive, objective and critical thinking Nigerians know Tinubu is the man for the job because of how he never flees from what must be done for the greater good as others did.

Fuel subsidie removal, Naira floatation, development Commissions for all regions, local Government autonomy etc, etc. The pivotal and badly needed reform, that will make Nigeria great, are too much from this President in two years whereas we saw virtually none from.those in office for 8 years (OBJ, Buhari) and 5 years I.e GEJ.

One of the most required reforms is state Policing OBJ and GEJ both said "Nigeria not ripe" for while Buhari simply feigned ignorance of it.

Today the President has demanded it and demanded constitutional changes to facilitate It's delivery. We can be confident State Policing will be a reality shortly alone with more pressing reforms needing constitutional amendment.

All progressive Nigerians , including politically influential leaders and individuals, will be behind Tinubu by 2027. No doubt about that at all in my mind.

https://dailytrust.com/tinubu-declares-state-policing-a-necessity-demands-constitutional-reforms/

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called for an urgent overhaul of Nigeria’s security framework through constitutional reform, declaring that the establishment of state police is now a necessity given the country’s deepening security challenges.

“The debate over State Police is no longer theoretical. It is grounded in the daily fears and live anxieties of Nigerians: farmers afraid to tend their fields, traders unsure of safe passage, and communities abandoned to self-help,” Tinubu said.

The President described Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution as foundational to its democracy but outdated in dealing with modern security threats. He cited the rising complexity of terrorism, cybercrime, farmer-herder conflicts, piracy, and separatist agitations as clear indicators that the current legal framework is inadequate to secure Nigeria’s vast and diverse territory.

“The pace of change in technology, in the complexity of security threats, and in the dynamics of our federal structure has far outstripped the capacity of some constitutional provisions. Our Constitution must evolve or risk becoming a danger to the very unity it was meant to protect,” he said.

Tinubu called for bold constitutional amendments that would move policing from the Exclusive Legislative List to the Concurrent List, enabling states with capacity and political will to establish their own police forces. He said such a move would ensure more accountable, community-based policing while preserving federal coordination and oversight.

“We must learn from global best practices, adapting decentralised policing models that enhance local accountability without sacrificing national oversight,” the President noted.

Yeah I agree verified history is beautiful that is why you are fighting tooth and nail to wish away these allegations which are clearly truth.
Kingibe is still alive and the day he will talk do not say he is lying.
The Presidency has officially replied the turncoat Sule Lamido who has not changed and is still as unprincipled today, in pursuit of power and private ambition, as he was back when he bowed at the feet of Abacha while Tinubu and others had to flee the murderous grasp of Abacha.

Take your talk to defend Lamido on the thread below. This thread is done as it now has official response to the "revisionist" claims of Lamido.
