favour32:You only confirm the claim that prejudiced people only see and hear what they wish to see or hear. Otherwise, where in Wike's response makes it "evident" that he allocated land to his sons? |
doncartel:Lol. Atiku is now your favourite anti-corruption whistle-blower ba? I can bet your foray into Nigerian politics began after Obi became Labour candidate in 2022 or after Tinubu won in 2023 to make you determined to hate him and anything/anyone affiliated with him. |
Agugbadin:Why are you asking questions on a public forum that exposes your ignorance and disinterest in reading/researching to gain knowledge? https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/803453-wikes-aide-debunks-claim-of-allocating-lands-to-son.html
|
oz4real83:How many times has the allegations been debunked officially and exhaustively yet you people continue to insist Wike has a case to answer? |
cenaman:Indeed. The move is long overdue. If you don't force the hand of Nigerians, who are naturally very stubborn and unruly, progress will never be made. I had a driver who used to toss everything out of the car. Food waste, satchet water bags, PET bottles etc. I warned him several times about the need to find a bin for his waste because that is best for environmental sanitation that is the duty of everyone. Even if we are near my business premises or residence, with bins he can use, he'd still toss stuff on the road. He would joke that he needed to give road sweepers and cleaners work to do. In the end I sacked him. Last year. Still calls and text till today pleading for re-employment. |
10billionDollar:Please, kindly refrain from spreading misinformation. Lagos has expressly and publicly clarified that satchet water and PET bottles are excluded from the ban. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/05/lagos-clarifies-plastic-ban-water-sachets-pet-bottles-exempted-as-july-1-enforcement-nears/
|
anonimi:As usual, you are always quick to assault others with your bitter, hateful and ignorant doom-mongering. The ban of SUPs in Lagos does not affect satchet water that remains one of the main ways average Nigerians drink potable water. Disliking a Government is one thing but rushing always to discredit everything said government does, with lies and misinformation, points to mental health issues and personalised hatred. You need professional help.

Diego35M:Obi is worst. He is a sycophantic coward and weakling who will be nothing but a 'yes man' to the North, worse than Jonathan, in power. Tinubu, the strongest and most independent-minded Southern leaders IMO, will continue in 2027. When he has fully put in place initiatives and policies to ensure we can all be fully responsible for our own optimal security, unlike what happens under Fulani Presidents where herdsmen have AK47 and the rest of us are sitting targets in our land and homes because we are denied same, then thayvis when power can go to the North. This is an existential and socio-economic liberation battle not to be left in the hands of a coward and Northern slave like Obi. How you guys cannot see the scary dimension Nigeria is taking and what must be done to reverse such, that a Northern President will/can never sanction, is beyond me. I can only conclude hatred of "Yoruba President" is strong enough to blind you to see what is progressively best for you and your generations unborn and the kind of President who can deliver such. |
JagabanBorgu:Don't mind them. Some will remain blaming the President for everything always, while ignoring their Governors and LG Chairmen the FG has funded and empowered immensely, till they leave the earth frustrated, misgoverned and miserable. No nation is as bad as Nigeria, in my opinion, for the idiocy of focusing on one office alone, I.e the Presidency, whereas clear and distinct tier of governments exist that have specific and distinctly different duties and responsibilities to the people they must be held accountable for by the electorate. To be honest, I no longer pity Nigerians. They are wicked and most times unfairly, bigotedly and malevolently focused on others deliberately because of ethno-religous hatred of their fellow Nigerians Today and forever, my focus is for my region, I believe to host mainly reasonable and balanced folks, to gain regional autonomy so we can practice democracy properly, with the right synergy between leaders and followers, to deliver a prosperous and socio-economically progressive geographical space Others who are bigoted will be left fighting their shadow once we are in a regionally autonomous system where it must be about holding your regional Premier, plus immediate and local leaders, accountable whether you like it or not. |
omoredia:Na your money dem dey spend? Abeg learn to live and let live plus mind your business. You will live long and succeed doing that. |
nairalanda1:Precisely. Perfectly normal to wish to be buried near his wife. Also, how strange is it to amebo Nigerians that a devout Muslim wants to be buried in one of the two holiest Cities in Islam? Medina is where Prophet Muhammed , the founder of Islam, is buried. How is it odd for Aminu Dantata to wish to be buried in the same City with Prophet Muhammad and his wife who is already buried there? Nigerians are annoying busybodies who will not allow others make choices they are fully entitled to without giving their unwanted opinion, usually negative, over what others should do or not. Have you noticed how two people arguing on a Nigerian Street can easily turn into 50 people fighting and arguing because Nigerians never mind their business and must always get involved to take sides or join the fracas?
|
aswani:Precisely. Should slander and deliberate lies against the Government be tolerated from Obi? |
RealityKings1:Lol. All the way to unwanted pregnancy and child support payment 😅😆🤣 |
Softmirror:Yes is the simple answer. Look below to note circumstances where transport is permissible for Moslems to be buried away from where they died and focus on "family wishes". Meaning if he had died in Nigeria then his family, with the immense wealth and means available to them, would likely have moved to Bury him in Saudi Arabia as Dantata wished. I simply cannot understand the sort of mental laziness affecting you Nigerians to the extent you cannot do less than 10 seconds of research. Must be the reason a lot of Nigerians similarly wait for government to feed and even wipe their bottom for them only to turn to crybabies when such is not possible.
|
gidgiddy:Lol. You are something else. Is this pedestrian response all you can say after being exposed for ignorant misinformation? I don't care where Aminu Dantata chose to buried. His choice. My response was to address your penchant for near-illiterate and erroneous utterances always. Guy, fix up. Anyone who has closed their minds to working on being a better and more effective human being might as well be dead. Learn to do basic research before rushing to talk or take sides. |
gidgiddy:It really is irritating how you never attempt to even think, let alone do minimum research, before you rush to talk or post. Dantata has not been buried in Saudi Arabia because he died there. Dantata specifically requested to be buried in Medina wiith his wife. Yes it is about the Country for Dantata and apparently some members of his immediate family as his wife is already buried there. One can only assume how many things you get wrong in your private life when you obviously never make an effort to gain and use facts. https://dailypost.ng/2025/06/29/saudi-arabian-govt-approves-burial-of-dantata-in-medina/ “It has been confirmed that Aminu Alhassan Dantata will be transported from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madinah for his final rites. Authorities have granted the necessary approvals for the transfer, and preparations are underway for the Janazah (funeral prayer), scheduled to take place tomorrow morning, Insha Allah,” Junaidu stated. |
DomPerignon:Lol. I am a big fan of The art of war. Clearly a book the shop trader Obi never had the time nor interest to read. Pretty sure he's never heard of Robert Greene's "48 laws of power" either. The man is so ignorantly self-destructive that one can only conclude he makes no deliberate and conscious attempt to get better results and successes as a leader. Now we all have to endure his infantile attention-seeking nuisance daily because of the madness of a region that chooses her worst (Azikiwe, Ojukwu,Kalu, Abaribe, Kanu,Ekpa, Obi etal) to lead them at all times. |
Food4Thought:You are the one in a mess. Not me. I am an informed and exposed realist. Meaning I fully understand what is unavoidable and must happen for Nigeria to transform from a fatally injured Caterpillar ,about to die, into a beautiful Butterfly. |
Food4Thought:Lol. Whatever floats your boat buddy. |
Cyberterror:Lol. I spotted this also. The deceptive and hypocritical nature of these people na 'follow come' from birth. Perhaps he will now lie he does not know the meaning of "excellency" he uses to qualify Obi who is obviously his personal 'Messiah'. |
JagabanBorgu:The guy you responded to is a glorified illiterate. The FG must disburse allocation judicously to other tiers of Government, i.e State and local government, judiciously and without delay for adressing States and local Governments issues. As simple as that. |
yemre:The bolded is what some of us have been saying for ages and the reason I personally have no time or inclination to ever be polite to Obidients. A people who jubilate every negative about Nigeria and attack every good development for her are wicked and evil enemies of progress. I have no time for people like that. Their criticism is never objective to make such acceptable as something that is their right to air as patrotic people who mean well for Nigeria. It is always of the type you responded to whereby FG disburse vastly greater sums of money for States to utilise, as all Nigerian leaders and followers have prayed for since 1999, yet some still find a way to spin that a negative development because of hate for Tinubu or perhaps his ethnicity Some people are indeed beyond redemption and totally damaged goods. |
Food4Thought:Lol. Desperation is problematic. Read the thread title again. |
Food4Thought:You don't get it. I am not even overly religious and actually want Nigerians to be less religious. My point is that religion is a serious matter in Nigeria and we can't hide from that fact. Obi tried to use this concept to get Oyedepo bully his considerable congregation to vote him by suggesting the 2023 election must be spun as a "religious war" where Christians must vote Christian candidate. Of course Northerners like Sarki, as Obi tried to do, are allowed to exploit the extreme religious inclinations of Nigerias by highlighting Obi's horrendous misyarn against Islam in hope of electoral profit. Obidient should not disturb us with hypocritical noise over something all sides are guilty of. They wish to bait Christians against Tinubu's Muslim-Muslim ticket and whip up sentiments over "Islamization" of Nigeria but do not see how others are entitled to do same against Obi. I made my point crystal clear with the quote below from my post you quoted. You and others clearly did not comprehend the message that no one is innocent and no one should complain since politics is about electoral victory with every side doing all they can to overcome others. Obidients should man up and stop crying hypocritically like their messiah who is the biggest hypocrite in Nigerian politics ever.. Politics is cold and brutal as it is about electoral victory over others. |
Ikaeniyan0:Indeed. That is the reason this thread is not even one to discuss. It's main trust is false, i.e fuel cheaper in the SE than SW, meaning nothing to discuss |
okpouman:Not by force to post bro. Hope you are aware of that? |
Celestialsword:Empty and logic-bereft argument. Even if only one non-APC Governor exists, then let said Governor succefully deny the FG has indeed disbursed more money than ever before, for infrastructure and security use, and we can admit you have a point. As it stands, several Governors are non-APC leaders. If they have not denied receiving more, then your senseless claim against APC Governors make sense how? Crystal clear you lack objectivity and are likely another prejudiced Nigerian, perhaps an Obidient, who wants all blame for misgovernance, everywhere and at everywhere level, focused on the FG and Tinubu always. Rather than Governors who get far more money now, than ever before, and local Government chairmen the Tinubu-led FG, as no other before him had done, went to court to liberate from the dictatorial control of Governors that had left our local government, more that 750 in number, impotent and essentially worthless tier of Nigerian governance for decades. |
tosyne2much:As it should be because the FG, under PBAT, is responsibly providing every State with 2 to 4 times more allocation than they had ever received before. The FG is providing operationl funds for all the six newly-created regional development commisions also. Nigerians should begin holding their Legislators, local Government Chairmen and Governors to account far better than they are doing currently if they want good Governance. The clearly defined tiers of Governance in Nigeria are Federal, State and local government levels. Nigerians should be cognisant of this reality to then hold the appropriate leaders responsible according to the tier of governance their problem falls under. |
Food4Thought:Do people like you have no shame or decency? What you are doing is desperate, unprincipled, unintelligent and pedestrian . Politics is cold and brutal as it is about electoral victory over others. If you are a pragmatic and critical thinker then you will know Obi goofed to understand his ambition cannot profit from arrogant dismissal of those, like Sarki, raising valid points about the unsuitability of Obi to be President of multi-religious and mutli-ethnic Nigeria. Till today , the'messiah' you defend blindly has not accepted responsibility for his vile and offensive utterance let alone apologise. Yet you continue touting such an irresponsible and dishonest individual "best President" material. You guys are all just unprincipled, scary and very desperate. |
omenka:Honestly, I can't understand how Obi fans reasons. I find them militant in mentality and dangerous. No different to Boko Haram fundamentalists. Their messiah wishes to lead a multi-ethnic and multi-religious nation. Yet he has been exposed making hate speech against a major religion in Nigeria. I.e Islam. That is an immediate politial 'retirement' offence in sophisticated climes yet Obi fans continue to show arrogance arguing he is best. These people are really dark, desperate and scary. Can you imagine a white politician in the USA, wishing to contest to be Governor of Altanta or Chicago, announcing the upcoming guber election is a "race war" and that White folks must "take their State" back? He is done the minute that recording is public because no voter will consider casting a vote for a racist who will be unfair to black folks. Same way most Nigerians, if adequately evolved and sophisticated, will not vote Obi who has shown open prejudice against Islam he considers a religion to "war" against. How can Obi, after that vile talk, be viewed a leader who will be fair to Moslems or the North as President? God help Nigeria sha because obvious we are still very backwards. I.e a nation full of people who are very toxic enemies of each other and see leadership as a way to dominate and subjugate others they hate. This is why I am a relentless supporter of regional autonomy. |
