kingmaster2009:Bro, it is the sort of hatred that has made them even begin to reject what they have always stood for. Imagine a hardcore and unapologetic Biafran supremacist in Kettykin , known as such for many years here, now pretending every region doing their own thing, as much as possible, is suddenly a bad thing? Same people who insisted for more than six decades now that they only need autonomy to control activities and processes in Ala Igbo to turn the region to Dubai in 2 days? As I will always say, Igbo man never means what he says and never says what he mean. There is always a hidden agenda or meaning behind the utterances of Igbos eg Biafra which really means “they will not have peace if they don’t put us in charge of Nigeria”. Is God not wonderful at exposing charlatans and pretenders when those who spat Biafra in the face of Nigeria for over 60 years are now ‘one Nigeria’ praise singers when it has dawned on them that the principled Yorubas are very serious about regional autonomy which means they are finished in the SW Ala everyone should face and develop their region in the spirit of charity beginning at home? Painment loading for them because regional autonomy cannot be stopped. An idea whose time has come can only be delayed but not denied. They are today sh1t scared to the point of now being the unity beggars they have always claimed others are. Life is funny sha. |
yommen:Don’t mind those insincere and duplicitous clowns. They shouted Biafra for over six decades yet no one took them seriously. Now, the same people and the North are in serious panic since all SW governors acting alone , in 2021 under Buhari, defied the FG to openly rebel and demand a return to regional autonomy along with resources control and full restructuring. At lease we know how the North will react because they don’t pretend that ‘one Nigeria’ is not their sustenance system they are loathe to abandon. It is the pretenders from the SE that shocked the world the most. Suddenly, they opposed what Yorubas were agitating for and became passionate ‘one Nigeria’ advocate to the extent their hypocritical lunacy extended to Naaraland. lo and behold, we began seeing thread from Igbos about “We all die here. We are not leaving Lagos” and ”Yorubas are planning to secede and run away with Lagos” (from the disgraced PrinceOfLagos). Well, the sum total of affairs is that Yorubas mean what they say and say what they mean whereas Igbo man never mean what he says and never says what he means. Shout Biafra for over six decades and no one takes you seriously because they know, at the very least, your vagrant lifestyle shows you are insincere. Yoruba leaders unitedly demanded regional autonomy in 2021 and those opposed to it (Hausa/Fulaninand Igbos) are in panic because they know Yorubas never bluff. I am enjoying Nigeria under Tinubu. By the time he leaves, the SW and all other regions who want independent growth and development will have shaped progressive lives they can control and enjoy without the impediment of ‘’one Nigeria’ that only those who gain sustenance from politics money ( the North) and trading/living in the land of others (the SE) enjoy. |
ottersberger:We wish you the best brother. You do what’s best for you in your SE and we do likewise in the SW. Everyone is happy. Yorubas , and certainly not an unapologetic free market devotee President in Jagaban, will never impede anything you Igbos wish to achieve towards regional autonomy. We want exactly same. Even more than you lot currently. We are certainly ready and moving. Just hope you people, usually very insincere and duplicitous, won’t be found wanting. |
kettykin:Why not? It is ironic you Igbos who have shouted secession the most , for over six decades, are now the most opposed to the administrative equivalent of secession without the devastation the balkanisation of Nigeria would cause. Aka another civil war or Rwanda-style internecine strife. Let every region go and run their affairs as independently possible. Independent constitution, Airlines, security, school curriculum, healthcare, leisure etal all, we Yorubas want total control of it all. We want exactly same as the USA we pretend to practice identical democratic system with yet reject all the positive aspect of their governance system that has made America the most advanced and most formidable nation on Earth today. We are fed up of repressive and regressive ‘One Nigeria’. If you Igbos were ever sincere about self-rule then you should be ecstatic about how things are going today where the average Nigerian (at least in the SW, SS and Middle Belt) are now completely and favorably disposed to full regional autonomy and self-rule. Buhari never stuttered. He made it clear he was openly fashioning a Nigeria that would be a caliphate home to Fulanis from all corners of Africa. The time is now to reverse that very dangerous method, favoured by Fulanis, of violent ethnic empowerment and expansionism that can only lead to the horrible ethnic cleaning in Rwanda the world hopes never to witness again While the rest of us are not so violently expansionist to attempt what Buhari and co promoted, we can at least have good and enjoyable lives by gaining full and completely autonomous control of the regions that is our traditional domain and our own exclusive corners of Africa. |
franudi:Perhaps Onyeama should have employed one of those Igbos then. The part in bold just shows how bigoted and unprogressive you people are. Grateful for a job she is qualified for and other employers exist to deploy her in? How come you neaderthals never claim your heroines in Okonjo-Iweala and Ezekwesili should be "grateful" to their employers and in fact always write as if they do organisations and employers a favour? The backwardness of you lot is amusing and worrying at the same time. |
Zool6:Halleluyah. At least you've learnt to quote a post correctly after a gazillion failed efforts. Now, go and get a life. I already stated I did not watch the Gen.Amanda video as I am not interested in what she has to say because even from the days of Azikiwe to irritants like you, many have become apathetic to Igbos due to your emptily supremacist views and how unnecessarily offensive you are. When many worldwide, and particularly in Africa, show they do not like Igbos you will claim they envy you forgetting how needlessly offensive and irritating, exemplified by your conduct here, you people really are. You box yourselves into a corner because you can never be gracious and humble amongst others. You must seek what divides others, while talking down at them, in pursuit of one Machavellian agenda or the other. Weve seen obidients demonstrate this very odious essence of Igbos lately by proclaiming a "Yes Daddy" charlatan, with a very mediocre leadership history, as Nigeria's messiah to then proceed to denigrate and insult other candidates and their entire ethnic groups most notably Tinubu , who is never Obi's mate, and Yorubas. Take you for example. I bet you're a joke with not much going for him privately and that's why you make it your life's obsession to know evey single Igbo achiever so you can claim relevenance and clan greatness through them. I repeat, Yorubas are one of the greatest and most beloved ethnic groups out of Africa and ,most importantly, modest and gracious with it too. We don’t give a toss about you Igbos and only always do what we must to keep you people, suffering from extreme boundary issues, in check. Right from the days Awolowo and co had to send Azikiwe and co packing back to Igbo land when they tried to take over the political and educational leadership of the SW. Go and get a life buddy. You lot have never had any change out of Yorubas, who are more than your match, and you never will. |
Zool6:Is it that hard to quote a post you cannot even work it out. Why dont you ask someone since it appear the brain of someone ffom a 'superior'

ethnic group cannot wven qork out something so logically simple. You're tedious bro. A total and ignorant bore. Go and argue with aomeone else. Youre too far beneath me. |
Zool6:You're just a repellent bigot and hollow ethnic supremacist. Learn to quote posts properly. You made same error several times now indicating a slow and rigid mind not good at looking for solutions. Go and address those before coming here to propose You're from a clan of titans. Furthermore stop name dropping TD Jakes, Forest Whitaker and other descendants of slaves who only recently discovered their Igbo ancestry thanks to advances in DNA technology. They are not proper Nigerians, in any sense of the word, as Anthony Joshua is. As for your Gen.Amanda explaining her Igbo name, she only confirms my opinion rhat most Igbos identify with their ethnicity alone and never their nation of origin which they hate immensely. I did not bother to watch the video but you can confirm whether she mentions Nigeria or not. I am.guessing she did not. Afterall, she is Igbo. Envy of Yorubas is your problem because Igbos are raised to hate and despise those they cannot cower nor dominate.which, in Nigeria, would be the Yorubas. You're not fooling anyone with your supercilious pontifications you think hides the fact that Igbos are very insecure and suffer inferiority complex about their core essence alongside Yorubas whereas we do not give a toss about you annoying trolls. |
DeepSight:Yes I get it that the back and forth can be offensive to non-Yorubas and non-Igbos but they should call out those who instigate the exchange virtually every single time, i.e Igbos, whereas Yorubas usually jump in to defend their ethnic group being rubbished by a people who love attacking and denigrating us over their own insecurities and failings they blame Yorubas for. Obi failed to become President and it is all out war against Yorubas, their interests, leaders and priment folks. I told you clearly, and forumers can check, I only entered this thread out of anger that an Igbo neanderthal claimed disrespectfully that Igbo man is "feeding" this woman and her family when she deserves nothing but respect for getting where she has in life. Yet Igbos want their own women respected and exalted whereas they cannot accord others same courtesy. That matters zero to you whereas, if truly objective, you should lay blame where such belongs rather than attempt to play to the Gallery. Bro, this back and forth gets us nowhere in so far as you'll never see what I am pointing out that is so clear. Probably because your Igbo and biased while pretending to be objective by bashing both ethnic group whem it is crystal clear it is one alone that deserves condemnation here. Just stay out of my way bro. Simple. Do your fake peacemaker and ' uniting force' thingy with others here simple enough not to note you're working from an angle of prejudice and bias rather than genuine objectivity. |
Zool6:See people like you are easy to discredit because at the core of your essence is dishonesty, deceiti and duplicity you think helps hides factual reality that stands in the way of your effort to promote your false and divisive message of Igbo supremacy. You want a Yoruba who is not proud of his name and origin, find another to use rather than Anthony Joshua. Forumers should watch the video below of Joshua's MBE acceptance speech to the Queen. Tell me if that is a man hiding his Yoruba name and Yoruba/Nigerian heritage or ashamed of them. After this I challenge any forumer to show where any Igbo, other than calling Nigeria "Zoo" in the diaspora, has spoken so glowingly and lovingly of their Nigerian heritage as Joshua does below. All they know to do is demean and demonize Nigeria like the Igbo lady, likely a first in history, who contested in a beauty contest and denigrated Nigeria by appearing with our flag 'soaked' in blood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBAFaJvYugQ?si=zWIRh93LKaLm2G6L |
DeepSight:Whatever dude. |
DeepSight:Is something wrong with you? I should put up a 'one love' kumbaya list with someone who says only Igbo women are achievers and Yoruba women are worthless internationally and only relevant in Nigeria when we know Yoruba women are some of the most iconic global leaders out of the African continent? When will your sort get it that Igbos have no love for Nigeria or respect for other Nigerians? It was decades ago Azikiwe, Okpara and co were coming out with very disrespectful, supremacist and divisive statement like "God has specially ordained the Igbos to lead black Africa" in multicultural Nigeria hosting over 400 ethnic groups!!!!! What has changed about that megalomaniac zeal Igbos showed in rhe past given the antics of Igbo today? Nigga, just stop talking. You clearly dont get the vibes you're throwing out to those who know what being a man is about. I.e standing up always for what/who is right regardless of whose Ox is gored. It is even worse when there is a clear perpetrator yet you are insisting all sides are guilty and should sit by a fire and hold hands. You're not okay bro. |
DeepSight:You are. I have given another example of me having to react after an Igbo protagonists derides Yoruba women to uphold his hollow and dubious supremacist pontificating. Why dont you comment then to castigate him firmly? Instead you only speak up to lump Yoruba and Igbo together just to play to the gallery and gain likes. Yorubas don't have time for Igbos. That is a fact. Even from how the number of Yorubas in Igboland is negliguble while they are more than 10 million in the entire SW tells a very revealibg story about who cannot stay away from the other. Bro, standing up for what/who is right is difficult but it is what men of conviction do. It will get you more credit with those who matter than trying to please the xrowd whomare often ignorant and fickle. The Yoruba-Igbo online war is very easy for genuinely neutral observers to take a decisive stance on per who is the offensive aggressor obsessed with the other. Very easy. |
Zool6:Look, I don't have time for your irritating and childish idiocy driven by inferiority complex and the need for constant validation. It is anal. If I was a kid like you'd I'd easily chop out a list of very successful Yoruba women without breaking a sweat that would be full of distinguished international achievers like the lady below. I.e Mo Abudu who is Africa's most succesful woman and our own Tyler Perry. Your antics is why I told a Nairaland hypocrite, Deepsight, that Yorubas dont start this back and forth. We merely react to the disrespect from insecure and pugnacious Igbos such as yourself claiming here that Yorubas are nothing internationally whereas our women are champions across the board in business, entertainment, academics, sports, politics etc etc. For example, just name any Igbo female who is as great as the legendary Tiwa Savage or even 21 year old Ayra Starr. Kemi Badenoch is a British Member of Cabinet. Most Yorubas just dont have time or inclination to dig for names because we are not anal and not wired like that. My annoyance is that when Yorubas, usually happy to ignore you lot, decide to have your time and treat your mental malaise that leads to intemperate, offensive and inconsiderate bragging then cowardly characters will put Yorubas and Igbos in the same category instead of correctly castigating the one offensive and divisive ethnic group always riling up all others. I suggest you take your silly list and shove it you know where. Mo Abudu named ‘Africa’s most successful woman’ by Forbes Africa |
All the conspiracy theories are amusing but possible he was just depressed and unhappy. Those who manage to defeat heavy depression always say they dont feel like getting out of bed or carrying on with life. RIP to him. |
BOYS2MEN:On show again, the Igbo man's garish and slavish worship of material wealth, social standing and status. You may not realize it but even well brought up kids would not dragged into bragging online, with strangers they nothing about, over who has or does not have wealth. Grow up abeg. Too childish. |
yommen:100% correct. |
blacknp:Igbos , to even include the fan yogo seller chasing cars all day in traffic to make 800 Naira, must always claim clan greatness derived from the achievements of some of their stand-out achievers. That is how desperate for validation and assurance their minds, damaged by severe inferiority complex, are. Ordinarily, Yorubas don’t give a toss about them and it would remain that way if they don’t always involve Yorubas, and Yorubas alone, in their d1ck comparison lunacy. Naturally, Yorubas will respond. |
blacknp:Precisely he is the same as the poster that famously pledged to deregister his PrinceOfLagos username if Tinubu won APC nomination let alone even become President. Today, he is still here and posting shamelessly despite literally hundreds of nairalanders taunting him to make good on his pledge and leave. He then used a new alias of “Sadwaste” to shout in panic that Yorubas want to secede and take Lagos with them. You are 100% right about him, and Igbos in general, always showing contempt for their host. The clown is actually from Imo and it confirms what I said above that Yorubas merely react to Igbo mischief targeted at us otherwise which sensible Yoruba will have time for those insecure jokers only alive to compare d1cks with Yorubas daily. |
blacknp:Another clown. When you assume people you know zilch about “have nothing to call their own” it makes a big statement about your reliance on personal opinions, emotions and sentiments rather than what you can establish as fact. This already marks you out as a loser because it is losers that live in their own fantasy world, to feel good about their failings, rather than work with reality |
DeepSight:I only got involved when a layabout claimed Igbo man is feeding a Yoruba technocrat who has the talent ,and has put in the hard work, to be a sought-after specialist in her field. In private business, profit delivered by the best talents is king above every other consideration and regardless of where those talents come from. This is a fact yet an Igbo will arrogantly proclaim he is feeding a niche-special Yoruba technocrat, who can work anywhere literally and will not even be one second out of a job. Such is their crude disdain for others Igbos cause all the problems generally. Yorubas are mainly reactionary because we are the targets of the victim mentality, persecution complex and inferiority complex Igbos overcompensate for with ridiculous megalomaniac pontifications always directed at Yorubas. You’d know this if really fair and not someone trying to play to the gallery with virtue signalling. |
Babalegba:The part in bold are ‘words on marble’ truth. They cannot coexist with others without seeking out and exploiting what divides society like religion, ethnicity etal. Also, they wake daily looking for developments to use , and the OP is an example, that assuages their insecurities and inferiority complex. They live with and profit from others but have nil regards for non-Igbos . A narcissistic, childish and entirely unacceptable form of self-love and megalomania no balanced adult should be guilty of. |
You Igbos are so predictable. Everything revolves around materialism and the crude worship of it. Obi stole Anambra's commonwealth to invest in his private business yet you worship the failure. You are beyond redemption. nony43: |
Wainey:You obviously did not read the article to note the part below. The President’s long-term vision, driven by proactive policy towards achieving sustainable economic recovery, is slowly yielding fruits. |
Ezini:When it comes to creating competitive and free market economies, Tinubu is brutally meritorious and Lagos is a very good example. Industrialists, manufacturers and CEOs of big businesses ,plus anyone adding positively to our economic value chain, will thrive under BAT. |
heniford2:Like I said to your fellow IPOB layabout, you lot have not worked in the organized private sector to be aware of high value technocrat who are in high demand and are subject to head-hunting in the desperation of businesses to hire the best talents so they stay ahead of competitors. You lot mainly work in Alaba, Ladipo and many have been raised in the confines of your bigoted apprentice system so no surprise you think and talk as backwardly as you do. It is why Yorubas are far superior to you lot when it comes to organized business, top level management and even politics. For proof, see how Obi, the glorified petty trader masquerading as a politician, is now lost, confused and unable to act while LP is imploding as we speak. |
Kudos to Umahi. Another appointment Tinubu got spot-on. |
proeast:lol. You’re the kid mate. A very unexposed one at that too. What level of service do you think this woman is rendering for you to claim she is fortunate to be employed by Air peace? You lot are not sophisticated at all. It is like saying the Indians Dangote employs to manage his businesses are fortunate’ when the reality is that they are a crucial part of the success of Dangote’s businesses and were likely headhunted with considerable remuneration for their specialist skills. In fact that is a good example because it shows Dangote feels those expatriates are better than anything Nigeria has to offer and therefore went in uncompromisingly to bring them here to work for him. For his private business, Dangote prefers Indians rather than deploy his own to pay homage to quota system or ethnic chauvinism. The way you guys talk shows why you do best at petty trading while Yorubas are far better than you at big businesses plus managing men and resources allied with merging complex components of big businesses for profit and success. |
proeast:You people like to delude yourselves. Big and multinational businesses leave no room for quota system or ethnic chauvinism in employment therefore Igbos, Yorubas or Hausa/Fulanis have no choice but to employ the best, regardless of their ethnicity, That is the deal with Onyeama who is just doing what is best for his business. To note Igbos are not the tolerant folks you are shamelessly trying to pass them off as, look at the apprentice system that only uses Igbo. It is about petty trading and a level the real nature of Igbos can be visible because it is largely unregulated, untaxed and cannot be easily sanctioned. Many Nigerians, like Aisha Yesufu, have condemned the Igbo apprentice system for it patently bigoted outlook. I believe you people just love talking in hope you can deceive with lies, revisionism and tales at odd with reality. That is why you always wish to pretend you’re one thing yet reality shows you are the opposite entirely. https://www.nairaland.com/6168984/igbo-apprenticeship-system-makes-people . However, she went on to say that “Everything has it’s advantage and disadvantage and that same system has also portrayed Igbos as clannish people who only employ their own people and never assimilate” |
proeast:lol. You’re a petty hustler so you cannot understand the rarified stratosphere some technocrats exist in because of their exclusive skillset. Of course she is not the only Nigerian fit for the job but she is in a small group of those who have the technocratic skills to excel in the role. That’s the point. As for your dumb question, fault Tinubu’s appointees for lack of meritorious deployment and we can talk. Otherwise I just see the usual and expected overreaction of a people who have shouted ‘marginalization’ and ‘discrimination’, since the 1940s, simply because they are dismissive of the talent of others and feel they alone must be be in charge of everything and everyone |
Bigboytinz:Yorubas are very modest . You won’t find them ‘capping’ as other do but the factual truth is that they are the most talented people, across the board, in Nigeria. For example, google 10 richest lawyers in Nigeria and it is 10 Yorubas out of 10 with no Malami-type there. Those realities tell a story of talent those who need specialist services cannot ignore. https://www.nairaland.com/5681348/richest-lawyers-nigeria.top-10-best Successful people work with strict rules ordinary folks are not even aware of. They know, for example, it is competence first and accept there is no place for sentiments when chasing business success. Go and check even Dangote’s management staff and it will be talented expatriates and highly competent Nigerians from all walks of life. It is losers who import ethnicity into privately-owned business which is always about making logical decisions that facilitates profit and success. |
