Of course the point is valid that Obi and Kwankwaso may know they will fall short and can even cynically use their Presidential challenge to boost their coffers.

It is Tinubu we know has to sincerely defend his position because he is President and not ready to vacate a seat he has another 4 years to occupy constitutionally.
