I salute PMB for constructing another bridge across River Benue, just as another bridge is been constructed across River Niger into the East, even if it is with borrowed funds.
This is great news ........ another part of Nigeria is opened up for development.
All the hate and careless talk against BAT without evidence....... please watch your comments.
I pity some Nairalanders, if you are identified and dragged to court for Liable and Defamation of Character and to prove your comments against BAT before the courts, if you fail to do so, you are in for it.
Interesting15: In the bible, there are several prophecies about some of the unpleasant things attached to the end time, which is right here in our own days. Some of them includes: "...(being)..unholy...without self control..lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God." (2 Timothy 3:2-4).
So, today, you see randy and very immoral people all around you. Men and women that can go any extent to satisfy their sexual urges (including molesting children). Men who have become dogs, staining themselves with irritating activities like masturbation, pornography, and so on. Even many women today (a gender that used to be synonymous with decency and modesty) are as sexually dirty as a pig in a pool of mud.
The reason for this is because many in our societies are under the yoke and influence of the evil devil. After the devil was thrown down to the earth, he started expressing himself in various ways, with the aim of ensuring humans will keep rebelling against God the Creator and be at enmity with Him.
The devil is referred to as the god of this age, and he is in charge of the high rate of immorality in our world today (because he is aware that your healthy but untamed sexual urge is a major way of making you sin against God).
Therefore, if you are a randy man or woman indulging in sinful activities like premarital sex, extramarital sex, pornography, masturbation, lesbianism, homosexuality, etc you are a slave to satan, and the wages of sin is death. If you die today, you are going to find yourself in a state of eternal torment.
What then is the solution? Get freedom! How? Through the life of God that is offered in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life" (John 14:6). And bible established that it is only through Jesus you can get true freedom (John 8:36).
Jesus will not only deliver you from sin, but will also empower you to live above these sexual poisons by sending the Holy Ghost to you.
Listen to me. Don't let anyone deceive you that it is difficult to live a life of purity and holiness. I'm a young person like many of you reading this right now. And by God's grace, since many years ago till this time, it has been easy for me.
If you need more counselling, you can always reach out to me.
Bradford111: I decided to break up with my girlfriend because she has been too busy of recent.
Not too long ago she started working for a firm so it consumes most of her time she is always busy from Monday to Saturday which she closes late..

I’m so tired of the relationship as we hardly see so decided to cut it off
Broda Dele, Lagos is already on its way to being a Smart City, such projects don't come easy or cheap. They are executed in phases.
The advice would have been better directed to other state governments in other parts of the country (north, south-south, east) that are still backward in ICT infrastructure, governance, economy and administration.
Most states, lack basic infrastructure such as grassroot governance, hospitals, schools, viable economy, robust IGR, electricity and many more (you go to the rural areas there is no electricity, no hospitals, no banks, no security, no economy, except subsistence farming).
Lagos is facing a high rate of Rural - Urban migration and the pressure is from all the 35 other states.
Insecurity in the North and South East is making it worse.
I bet Broda Dele, if other states can do at least half of what Lagos has achieved, the country will be better place for us all.
Survivor2020: My 17 years old brought shame to me last year she got pregnant, I have disowned her and sent her packing. She is staying with her boyfriend in his family home.
She gave birth 5 months ago she has been sick ever since she had the baby and the boyfriend doesn't have any money to take care of her. Plus the living condition is not suitable for her in her condition.
I have forgiven her and I want to take her back home so I can take her to the hospital for treatment but I don't want her to come with her baby. Please note there is only me and my 7 years old son at home. I work and my son goes to school till 5pm.
I don't have time to babysit the baby. I want the father to take care of his child while I take care of mine. I hope my decision is not bad?
Please don't make the mistake of rejecting your own blood ....... 16 years down the lane, you will look back and praise Almighty God.
I know it's not funny now but Almighty God has deemed it so.
In my little lifetime I have seen a boy that was rejected by all as an outcast who grew up in our midst only for him to relocate to the USA just like that.......
Please take care of your grand child and your daughter.
Crysallis: A Nigerian man has shared the video of his German Wife peeling yam with a peeler instead of a knife. The surprised man said it is not right as she used a peeler, insinuating that the gods will be angry.
In her defence, the lady said it was difficult for her to use the knife and the peeler was much easier to use.
Obinoscopy: As we draw close to the 2023 elections, it is now clear that we have three major contenders for the Presidency which are Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (APC), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (PDP) and Mr Peter Gregory Obi (LP). There has been lots of talks on who would be elected President and Vice President but there have been little or none in regards to Senate Presidency. This might be because the Senate President slot depends hugely on who will win the Presidency/Vice Presidency. There are different permutations for the possible Senate President if any of the three major presidential contenders wins the election.
Today, I will focus on the possible Senate President permutations IF Peter Obi wins the presidential election. Peter Obi is from the South East while his vice, Datti Ahmed, is from the North West. So the geopolitical zone that will likely get the nod for senate presidency would be the South West. So I will list the possible permutations from the South West region. The permutations will also depend on the political party that wins majority seat in the Senate.
I personally don’t think the Labour Party will win majority of the seats in the Senate come 2023. They dont even have Senate candidates in some States based on the list INEC released and they only have 1 seat in the current Senate. It mostly likely will be the PDP or APC. If PDP wins (less likely), the major contender for the Senate President Seat will be Abiodun Olujimi (Ekiti State). I picked her because she is currently a minority leader in the Senate. Also she is a former deputy governor and is 63 years. I included her age because both Peter Obi and Datti are in their 60’s so it will only make sense that the Senate will prefer someone in that age bracket as well. However if APC wins (more likely), the major contender will be Bamidele Michael Opeyemi (also Ekiti State). I picked him because he is a three term senator (so he has wealth of legislative experience) and is 59 years old.
So my two major contenders, if Peter Obi wins, are Abiodun Olujimi (Ekiti, PDP) and Bamidele Opeyemi (Ekiti, APC). Other possible contenders are Buhari Abdulfatai (Oyo, APC), Surajudeen Basiru (Osun, APC), etc, but they are lightweights. The likes of Oluremi Tinubu and Amosun Ibikunle would have been very strong contenders if they had indicated interest to contest for Senate but they are not seeking re-election.
I have considered the possibility of States like Edo State and Delta State to produce the Senate Presidency but there are no viable candidates in my opinion. The likes of Ovie Omo-Agege (current Deputy Senate President) from Delta State would have been a strong candidate but he is seeking governorship election instead. I also don't see anyone from Edo State as the likes of Clifford Ordia and Francis Alimikhene, both from PDP, are having internal tussles on who is the legitimate candidate (INEC has even excluded their names from the current published list).
For the Speaker House of Representative, I would say either North Central or North East gets it, but I’m tilting towards North Central because of the role they will play in ensuring Peter Obi wins. But the permutations on who would likely be a strong contender is very complex and beyond my scope.
These are my humble opinion, I might be wrong. You are welcome to list your possible contenders if Peter Obi wins.
So my conclusive advise to Abiodun and Bamidele, and by extension the people of Ekiti State, is that they do the needful if they want to secure the Senate Presidency
How many NASS members will Labour Party contribute.
If Labour Party is absent in NASS Peter Obi is done and dusted.
Mrbenny001: Why are most of you so stupid.....what will a young boy that finish secondary school know about economy or being an economist... he obviously became economist by all the educations he has globally and experience he got from businesses and banks he runs... don't be fool forever
No be only economics or an economist go solve Nigeria's problem. Its not a one man show that will solve Nigeria's problem.
Nigeria will thrive under someone who understands the econometrics of governance, economics and grassroots politics.
That's for someone who can assemble a good team of EGG HEADs to solve problems and create wealth, galvanize the people and douse tensions.
BAT has been working and strategizing on his ambition before 2015, he didn't just wake in 2022 like Peter Obi who has been running from PDP to APGA to PDP and now to Labour Party that is hardly known at the grassroots level.
Even Atiku of PDP has not been sleeping but strategizing since the last election.
