Take 10 minutes everyday to thank God for getting out of that situation unscathed and alive to tell the story. Things could have gone awry at any point especially when you signified you were no longer interested. Personally, I think you needlessly exposed yourself to a potentially dangerous situation. I would have noped out the moment I saw the red flags. Glad you turned out alright anyways. sonofanarchy: Continuation....
Navigating through the terrain wasn't easy, even the bike guy had to ask someone a way out to access the main road to the park. If not for onome, it would have been so difficult for me and probably lost my way. We rode for some minutes, then we finally arrived the park. From Bobo doulasou to ougadogu was 7,500 CFA, I quickly paid. I called onome, I'm at the park and will soon depart to ougadogu. The bus left Bobo doulasou at 2pm
... I will briefly describe onome, she's a Nigerian From the South, petite, dark skin with nice ass. She has been shuttling Nigeria - Burkina Faso for 2 years, she understand the language and terrain. According to her, her uncle's wife own a restaurant in ougadogu so she sometimes help but she told me she's into female hair treatment.
I will not really say much on what went down at the hotel but there was no sex between I and onome. I want to keep her private. After much sleep, can't find onome when I woke up, I called her, she said she wants to get food, Nigerian food from her aunt restaurant, she will be back. Finally I could eat something better. All through my journey I turned carnivorous because all I had was fried guinea fowl, suya water and little fruit.
...
While waiting for our passports, a guy walked up to me and asked if I'm heading to Nigeria, I said No, trying to be security conscious, I don't know who is who, he said he saw my passport that's why he's asking. I said I noticed too. He seems lost and depressed 😞. Later on after much scrutiny, I asked him series of questions and gat to find out, he was a victim of scam job but the difference between us, he lost everything, he never came back with anything. He showed me his before and after pictures. I will mistake him to be an imposter because he looked so dark and slim now.
He told me, he was into okrika business, he was doing well, until a man, whom he regarded so much and to make matters worse, this man that convinced him to come to Burkina Faso is a pastor. He said he's going back to Abia state to start all over again from the scratch. I felt for him.
I tend to find out, the guys operates differently with wide spread networks all across Burkina Faso. As we speak, thousands of Nigerians are being deceived just because of the challenging situation in the country.
We arrived Cotonou safely, I went straight to seme border to stamp myself in. We parted ways when we arrived badagry.
Y'all should say hi to Neche

Romance › Re: What To Do With A Closed-minded Boyfriend? by wolexy07(m): 11:36am On Nov 15, 2024 |
AishaDant: We have been dating for exactly two years now and to be honest, he is a very sweet and romantic man. I absolutely adore him because he is kind, caring, gentle and considerate. He also listens... Most men these days, do not listen. My boyfriend listens when it comes to most things. However, when it comes to matters of the bedroom, he is closed-minded, shy and quite reluctant. These are a huge turn off for me but I know nobody is perfect so I talk to him about it and it goes in one ear and out the other. He says fine he would try harder and do what I ask but when the time comes, he shys away, leaving me upset and even frustrated.
Am I being too coded? Alright! He enjoys bjs... He would moan, shake - these things I enjoy. I absolutely enjoy being able to fully satisfy him but what of me? He does not give head! Crazy huh? Imagine wanting and enjoying something you refuse to give. How is your partner supposed to feel? Oh and for those of you wondering, I am extremely clean. Maybe too clean even. This is a problem for me. He is too reserved and finds it difficult to try new things. Guess what guys? He is talking about marriage when he cannot even satisfy me in the bedroom. I just smile and change topics because I know I am not gonna marry him. I don't want to be sad and miserable. I am young and I want to be happy and satisfied.
He wants to introduce me to his family officially before he comes to see my family this December. What do I do? He is a very nice man and he is well-behaved, sane, stable but he does not know how to satisfy a woman in the bedroom. What do I do?
OH and he is not on nairaland. He thinks nairaland is boring. He prefers Instagram so hopefully he doesn't see this ever. 😒 Lol. You think everyone likes to perform MouthAction? I for one, don't and I was always upfront with it in my past relationships. I remember one particular instance when we were about to get down, completely naked and she tried to coerce me into going down on her by saying if I don't, we are not doing anything. I told her to get dressed if that was the case. She was shocked. . Seriously, if a woman gives me that condition, that is the end of the relationship because there is no way I am doing it. By the way, I believe in "give and take". Since I am not "giving", I will never expect to "receive". I have gotten a few in the past and each time, it was of their volition. I never requested for it and never will. I am totally fine without it. |

KingDeity: If you can take out your time to read thru previous threads, you would notice that someone did stuff like this and the case officer mistook the account balance in USD to be NGN and the fellow was denied visa on the grounds of insufficient funds, although he applied for admin review and i think he later got the visa. In my own opinion, I would suggest you use only NGN account, but if you insist on merging account, kindly attach an SOP to this effect, wishing you good luck. Cheers fam Not necessarily. One should just pray to have a calm and thorough person in charge of one's case. I used my USD account and my visa application was successful without any issues. |

Please, any idea how many points can someone get with a year of working experience? winner01: Thanks. That has been a concern because due to the information I was given, I was planning to use only one year experience from when I completed my last degree which was Aug 2018.
But if it's allowed to use years of working experience while on school, that's even great.
The person who gave me the information also has 3+ years working experience but finished her masters April 2019 and she's done her ECA report, so she's waiting for April 2020 to be able to claim 1 year working experience. |

You are not alone in this. The mail I got from WES was on the 17th of November last year. I have gotten in touch with Unilag twice this year. They said they are yet to receive both e-mail and post. The person I spoke to said that I am not the only one with the same issue. He also claimed WES usually lie about sending the request. Wondering why they will do that if true. I called WES customer service last weeke and the person said it has been sent and it will be sent again.I complained to them via their Contact Us. They said my inquiry has been forwarded to the appropriate department for review. I don't even know what else to do other than to wait and hope it gets sent soon. olasworld: Good people in the house please I need your advice. I received a mail from WES on 29th Nov 2019 that a verification mail was sent to Unilag. Till now, the school is yet to respond and when I visited the school, i was told that the mail has not been received. I contacted WES and it was confirmed again that the verification mail was sent last year. Please should I do? Although I was told another mail will be sent after 7weeks but what is the guaranty that the school will get it again. |

Unfortunately, I cant really say which one is more suitable. I used WES. There is another evaluation body called IQAS but I don't know if they are any better than WES. Unilag took more than 2 months to send my transcript. I sent them several mails, no meaningful progress. It was until I went there a couple of times to follow up on the matter before it finally got sent. My advise will be for you to start going there to hasten the process or see if you can get someone there to assist. I used WES for my wife too but in her own case, her school, LASU, was very prompt. They attended to both transcript and verification requests quickly. In less than 2 weeks after each request, WES had confirmed receipt. I was quite impressed. Wendyok: Woooow...I don't know what to do...just started the Wes process...now I am waiting for unilag to send my transcript to Wes.... With all these now...I wouldn't have used Wes....what did your wife use please.... I am not happy with unilag slow responses..please advice on the evaluation body that suits unilag.... |

Thank you for your words of advise. Actually, I am male. Like I said, in a bid to increase my score, I am taking the BCS certification exam in March and I am also considering the TEF which is the French exam. Eagles92: I strongly advise that you start preparing to add another certificate to your educational qualification....short courses preferably considering your age, cos the more you age, the more you lose points. You can ask about CIMA, if you have a certain amount of hr 3xperience, cipm can waive the exams for you so you apply for membership using your years of experience.......I know they do this but I dont know the entire process
Get your hubby to join you on this, so you apply as a family an the younger person with the higher qualifications and work experience be principal applicant
Lastly, if those two aren't enough, one of you should start French classes and write the exam quickly. |

Greetings house, first timer here.
May we all live the Canny dream and may it be our best decision ever.
I started the hustle last year August after my son was born. Prior to that time, I had not been keen about the whole immigration thing. Having my son was kinda a wake up call. In fact, he is the main reason I embarked on this hustle. I wish I had started long ago even before I got married. No doubt, I'll be outta Naija by now. Anyways, no use crying over spilt milk.
I started the WES process mid-August and till now, it has not been completed. It is simply frustrating. WES sent me a mail on November 13th saying that they have sent a mail to Unilag to verify my BSc transcript and certificate. This is where I am stuck. My evaluation is on hold as a result while my wife's evaluation has been completed. I am the PA.
I was fortunate to pass IELTS on my first attempt December 7th: L8, S8, R7.5, W7. However, my CRS score still requires a lotta beefing up especially considering the recent unfavorable spike. The stakes are quite higher. I am currently on 422 and I will be losing points this year based on age. I am in my early 30's.
I am taking the BCS IT certification exam in March. It's not been easy preparing amidst my work and family but I am optimistic about my passing the exam. I am also considering doing TEF.
All in all, I am not giving up hope. I will be giving this my all and I believe it shall not be in vain by God's grace.
This is my story. I am counting on you my seniors for helpful tips/advice/suggestions or otherwise that can help in making the dream a reality.
Thank you. |

dubajek: Lasu! Lasu! Lasu! Frustrating I beg to differ. My wife's transcript was sent to WES in ~2 weeks after request. Same with the verification. Her evaluation is completed. Unilag is the very frustrating one. Took them over 2 months to get my transcript sent to WES after visiting and following up. It has been about 2 months since WES contacted them for verification. They are yet to respond. My evaluation is on hold due to this. They are just the worst. |

apach4ever: Hi guys,
If like me you registered your PSN account with a South African address because Nigeria isn’t included and you are experiencing difficulties in funding your wallet to download games and stuff, I have a solution.
Having suffered trying to fund directly via my banks’ debit/prepaid cards on the PlayStation store and discovering the hard way our cards are no good for such transactions, I decided to look for a way to purchase a PlayStation network prepaid card denominated in Rand as this is the only type that’ll work on the SA store.
I came across 3 sites, www. cheapcodes. co. za, www. takealot. com and cardcodes .com, cheapcodes and takealot accept card payments but reject Nigerian cards (wonder why?).
Cardcodes however require a PayPal account and are very reliable. Just ensure your PayPal account is verified and your transaction will fly. The code will be sent via email to you and you can load it on your account and start your purchases, that’s that – time for me to download some retro PSone/PSP games. Thanks for this thread. Been thinking of how I will be able to purchase Mortal Kombat 11 which is on sale presently. Tried adding my debit cards without success. Cardscodes is very reliable. I made payment with Paypal and I got the codes in my e-mail under 10 minutes. |

Romance › Re: How To Get Married On A 20k Salary! by wolexy07(m): 9:08am On Aug 21, 2017 |
askseunoladele: HOW TO GET MARRIED ON A 20K SALARY!
If age is no longer on your side, you have found the woman you want to marry but your salary is the barrier between you and your marital promised land, you earn 20k or a little more per month, your sexual urge is getting uncontrollable, you are over 30 and your fiancee wouldn't mind settling down with you, here is the practical way to survive on a 20k salary!
1. Pay your tithe 10%
2. Save 10%
3. Get a room apartment where you will not be paying more than 2k per month.
4. With neighbours, your NEPA bill should not be more than #500:00.
5. Feeding for both you and wife not more than 10k. Always buy your foodstuff in bulk every month, you will save lots of money.
6. Keep 10% for emergencies, that is 2k.
7. The remaining #1,500 will be shared between you and your wife as pocket money. You 1k, wife, #500.
Now listen: you can only do this on the conditions given below:
1. Your wife will get a job to assist you financially so that both of you will put money together to start a business, look for a higher paying job or run your vision that will yield profits, enlarge you and move to a higher level of comfort and wealth. Discuss this thoroughly in courtship and ensures she agrees. That is what courtship is about: to discuss your future and see if you can walk together (Amos 3:3).
2. No baby for the first 2 years while you both work harder and get something better or extra doing to cater for the baby. Discuss this thoroughly. Visit a family planning clinic and get an advise on which family planning method will work for you. Withdrawal sometimes fail and calculating the ovulation period is not completely reliable but if she is very diligent, can consistently monitor her ovulation, you may take the risk but combining with CD is better (I'm talking to mature adults here).
3. There will be pressure from your family especially your mother for her to get pregnant. Stand up for her, shield her, be a man and let your mum know that for personal reasons, it's your decision for her to delay pregnancy. Marriage is for mature men and women, not for boys and girls. You should be responsible and have the final say in your marriage. Your decisions are between you and your wife, whatever anyone else says is secondary! Protect her from your family, stand up for her!
4. Pray diligently and consistently for God to enlarge you.
5. Map out practical plans for you to achieve your dreams.
6. Have the faith that can move mountains! The Bishop Oyedepo and Fela Durotoye's type of faith: These men had almost nothing when they started but their wives were working and assisted them till they broke through.
You can make it before you get married. You don't have to get married on a salary of 20k. The Lord can surprise you with a better job, profitable business or great contracts before you marry, if not yet then don't wait till you are in your 50s before you settle down.
"Two are better than one..." is what the Holy Book says. With your wife's full support and strong faith in you, you will break through the ceiling of limitation and emerge into your glorious destiny. FEEL FREE TO SHARE. God bless you, cheers! © Seun Oladele, 2017. www.askseunoladele..com No way! No sane, right thinking man earning below 50k monthly should be considering marriage in this present Nigeria we are in! Coupled with all the slay queens that abound everywhere, I won't even consider dating any girl! Would rather die single! Good thing I have got hands. |
