First to be clear this project is not Gov Alex Otti's; This is Federal project being carried out by Umahi. Otti is just inspecting as he is keen to see progress to ensure Abians returning for yuletide have a less stressful journey.

Regarding your question, sometimes a condition of getting foreign loans for road projects is that the foreign lender gets to dictate the contractor to carry out the project.

We need to stop taking foreign loans and then we can also choose our own local contractors.

Benin Bypass was completed during Obj but was so poorly buit that it is today not motorable

Musa YaraDua Expressway was an expansion from 4 to 10 lanes completed by GEJ administration

Loko Oweto bridge were completed 2022 by Buhari administration.

The other projects listed cannot be verified.
